He is meeting with the Dimera Family and he is meeting with William and Kendall Dimera. He feels those tingles even after all these years. He was shocked but he would get through this and hoped whoever William was he would not pick on anything. He sends out a Code Gray which means be on standby to take the kids underground. It is too late to back out now. His assistant says " Your 11:00 is here." Jason and Brady stand up and say " Send them in." They stand up and he keeps his eyes on William. They shake hands and take a seat. He cannot get a read on her face but stays focused on business. Once the meeting is over, William says " I believe this was a success and I know Grandfather will be pleased. This calls for a celebration, would you gentleman like to join us for dinner, our treat." Brady says " It would be our pleasure just name the time and place." William says " Meet us at the Creekwood Cafe at 7:00 pm. Pleasure doing business with you. Adios." Kendall says " I need to make a stop I will meet you back at the hotel." William nods and takes his leave. Brady says " If you excuse me I need to handle a few things but I will see you tonight, Ms. Dimera." She replies " I look forward to you seeing you both tonight." Jason looks down and she writes a note about time and place in an hour.

He sees her waiting and she says " Give me your hand and don't let go." He complies and he feels a jolt he realizes she ran and it looks like they are in a national park. He gathers himself and asks " Where are we?" She says " We are in a national park in Oregon." Jason thinks holy shit that is impressive. Athena says " I need for you to be prepared for tonight. Just think of William as a sophisticated version of Lucky and we shall get through this dinner just fine. The deal is not finalized yet so I will figure out a way out of the deal." Jason says " No we keep the deal." Athena says " I thought would age you be smarter. The whole point is that I keep no contact and I keep this family out of the States. If they take this deal then they are going to want to expand in the States and eventually end up in New York. These people make men in the mob look like Santa. I have done a good job keeping them at bay " Jason says " Think about sooner or later they will end up in the States this way there is some control and I can keep my eye on them." Athena says " I do not give fuck if you want to keep an eye on them. I do not want them here to think about your children's safety." Jason says " I eat, sleep, and breathe their safety. This is for them. Keeping an eye on the enemy is the best solution." Athena says " You are still so damn stubborn after all this time. It is like once you get an idea you have tunnel vision. Do I have to deliver another message? Did you have fun cleaning up those bodies I ripped into tiny little pieces for you? Must have been a bitch them not having open caskets." Jason says " Why do you care? The last time I saw you you made it clear that my life and theirs mean nothing to you." Athena laughs evilly " Oh I see someone is mad. I am what Carly warned about all those years that I never loved you and the only reason I am protecting you is for those children. They serve a bigger purpose." Jason says " I remember when I was knocking on death's door and I heard you and you saved me."

2007, Puerto Rico
Jason thinks this was supposed to be a routine check but turns out we had traitors in our mist. Fuck they got me good. I promise if I somehow get out of this I am telling Sonny I am done. My children deserve better and I am starting to see what Elizabeth said all those years ago. Jason groans and says " It hurts bad." She says " I know and I am going to make the pain go away. Open your mouth for me." Jason does and he feels something warm in his mouth and she tells him to swallow. She whispers " At least you are not being stubborn like the last time you got shot and be a good patient this time." Jason is slowly regaining his strength and he says " I still hate soup but I buy your favorite anyway and it is Artemis's favorite. He looks more like you but he is the perfect combination of us with his love of art and motorcycles. Jake, is the most like you. He loves art, he can talk a mile a minute, always is the last one to sleep after he checks on everyone. Our daughter looks just like you and I know one day I am going to kick some boy's ass for even thinking about dating her." Elizabeth chuckles " Still overprotective I see and maybe I will see our sons' names on a piece of art. You are almost healed. I know I never told you how to live your life but our children need you so you have to be safe. You deserve a life too not just Sonny and Carly." Jason whispers " I need you and I love you. Please stay." She kisses his forehead and says " I wish more than anything I could but my humanity is slipping away and I can not offer you the life and love you seek. Just know the girl who found you in the snow was already halfway in love with you and the girl in the studio was. I just realized it is too late but I want you to be free, safe, and happy. Present time
Jason says " I remember it being so quiet that I thought I was dead but turns out you killed all those men and saved me." Athena says " I still had my humanity then and damn sure did not trust you enough not to leave those kids to Sonny and Carly." Jason says " I would leave them with Emily and I know the real reason you killed them. They blamed you for me practically leaving the business and put a hit out on you. You should have told me." Athena says " Oh please as if you would have believed me then. You were still cleaning up their messes I mean sure you put the kids first but you still enabled them so much that they ordered a hit on me. Imagine their surprise that I showed and I had fun toying with them and they cursed my name and Carly swore until her dying breath you never loved me." Jason says " Lucky went missing and they never found his body." Athena circles him like prey and says " They never will. The bastard got what was coming to him. Did you know the freak blamed you for me leaving and he was going frame you for your own wife's murder? Once you were out of the picture he had in his head that I would come back to him so we would raise the kids together and just so that I would never leave again he broke Tom out of jail so he could assault me again so that I was broken and he could " heal" me again. I never knew what I saw in that bastard. You got to Tom before I did and that was a work of beauty by the way and Lucky died screaming like a bitch." Jason says " I am glad he is dead then or I would have killed him myself." Athena whispers and nibbles on his ear " That is such a turn-on for me." She snatches off his belt and yanks down his pants and boxers. Since you will not heed my warning, you should get prepared because sooner or later they will figure out who your children are and they will come for them. I will buy you time and I can do what I can but they are older and stronger than me." Jason says " Will they kill you for keeping this secret for so long." Athena says " No they won't they need me too much and they will be thrilled to have heirs to them time is nothing but they will not hesitate to kill you if you do not comply." Jason growls " They will not get our children ever." Athena says " You better have a fucking army and I know you have been creating weapons that are strong enough to kill us. That is smart and I am impressed. It is a bit ironic the source of their weakness." Jason says " When this war is over will you come home?" Athena says " I have done things worse than you have and I have killed more people than the entire five families combined. I know that you fell in love with me because I saved you and you always had me on this pedestal and see me as an angel. I was a good person then but I am not now and those children deserve better than a monster for a mother." Jason says " You are not a monster you sacrifice your happiness and life so they could be free. That is a good mother and I tell them that all the time. I do not lie to them and they know the truth and how to keep a secret." Athena asks " What did you tell them?" Jason says " That their mother is compassionate, strong, beautiful, smart, talented, and loved them so much that she gave them up so they could be free and happy. I told them that you love them and if things were different we would be together and a family." Athena says " Don't be late Morgan." Just like she is gone.
