In response, Elizabeth smiled and she pulled Mikayla onto her lap.

At that very moment, the elevator suddenly stopped and Elizabeth was plunged into darkness.
"Meredith," Elizabeth called out for help. There was no response.
"Janek," she tried again. Again, no response.
At that moment, Elizabeth felt someone kiss her. In response, she freaked out and pushed the person away.
However, her distress did not last for too long because the elevator started working again.
