Crossover II Episode Two: Might Morphin x SPD
[Location: The Command Center – Healing Chambers
POV: Jason Lee Scott]
"I'm sorry, Jason, but I must stop you from dooming us all."
Jason's eyes slowly opened as he found himself in a healing tank, the water pouring down the drain beneath him as Alpha stood on the other side, working to get him free.
Jason felt…tired.
While his body felt somewhat better, mentally, he felt exhausted from what had transpired. His battle with Goldar took him to a limit he never knew he had and then Ashley…
She had struck him and yet, he knew that from the voice alone, the one who injured him to the point of unconsciousness was Ashley and yet it wasn't his Ashley at the same time. Despite the remorse in her voice, her voice didn't reflect the warmth that was always there.
Her actions were cold and calculated. She knew the right spots to nail him to keep from fighting.
"Jason, are you alright?" Alpha asked as Jason slowly stepped out of the healing tank.
His mind just couldn't stop replaying what had occurred.
"All that I do is for a better future. Do not think otherwise, no matter how dark my actions will become…"
She stopped him from making a grave mistake and somehow, Goldar was the trigger.
But to what?
"Jason!" Alpha whined.
Jason suddenly snapped to attention and replied, "Oh…Hey Alpha…When did you get here?"
"I've been in front of you for five minutes trying to catch your attention," Alpha said as he flapped his hands twice at him.
"Sorry Alpha," Jason said as he placed a hand on Alpha's head and smiled.
"Aye-Aye-Aiiii…" Alpha said as he placed his hands on his head. Jason then turned his head to glance at his friends, all of them in their own healing tanks.
"The other rangers are still healing. They suffered some serious injuries from Goldar's hands," Alpha explained as Jason eyed them down.
To be able to beat his friends and take him to the limit, Goldar was truly a formidable opponent. One that had pushed them all to their breaking points.
And he was still alive…
Jason didn't know why but he felt a rush of excitement at the thought of Goldar's continued existence.
But thinking about Goldar made his mind return to the girl who had betrayed him.
Ashley…
He had to talk to her.
"Alpha…How long will the others be healing for?" Jason asked.
"All of their injuries were quite severe to where they will need another day in the healing tanks, Right now, they are currently forty-five percent healed, and curiously, despite being near death when you arrived, your body is only sixty-five percent healed," Alpha answered.
"Then why come get me if I'm still weakened?" Jason asked.
"Because there is a monster attacking…And also, there are two rangers fighting them," Alpha replied.
Jason's eyes widened at this.
Could it be Ashley? And if so, who was the other ranger?
"Alright, I'll go," Jason said.
Alpha nodded and held Jason's morpher up to him and said, "You are only able to be morphed for ten minutes before you're forcibly unmorphed due to the damage the morpher and your ranger powers went through…So please be careful."
Jason nodded and took the morpher and shouted "It's Morphin' Time!"
[Location: Holiday Inn
POV: Genral]
With a leap into the air, SPD Red kicked two Putties in their chests, which sent the clay-made foot soldiers soaring into the air. He then landed on the ground on one knee and blocked a kick from a Putty and pushed it aside before grabbing its left ankle and pulling it off its feet then shooting it in the head once it was downed.
SPD Shadow effortlessly sliced through the Putty on his left from right shoulder to left hip before slicing the putty to his right from hip to hip then finally decapitated the two Putties in front of him before he twisted his body and lunged his blade through two Putties heads before slicing upwards.
SPD Red then rose to his feet only to feel SPD Shadow's back press against his own as more Putties surrounded the pair. "These guys are easy. Almost insultingly so but there are so many," SPD Red stated as he gripped his Delta Blasters.
"Do not drop your guard," SPD Shadow said as he eyed the Putties around him and his protégé. "They may be easy but we could easily be overrun. Not to mention that monster over there…We have yet to know its full capabilities."
"Understood Commander," SPD Red said.
"Good. Take down as many as you can. I will take down that monster," SPD Shadow said. SPD Red nodded and the two broke apart, with SPD Red firing multiple shots at the Putties while SPD Shadow sliced through the five Putties that came his way before he came upon Robogoat.
"So you're the first one huh?" Robogoat asked.
"And I'll be the only one once I cut you down," SPD Shadow replied.
"Then try it, Ranger," Robogoat said as he slapped the golden armor on his chest. SPD Shadow let out a shout, dashed forward and landed a strike to Robogoat's chest but the blade didn't cut the monster. SPD Shadow narrowed his eyes and slashed at the monster three more times but there was nothing.
No sparks.
No reeling back.
Nothing.
SPD Shadow took three steps back as Robogoat laughed and then charged forward to swipe at SPD Shadow but the ranger blocked each swipe with his blade, causing sparks to fly with each deflection as he walked backward. He then ducked a swipe and slashed at Robogoat's left knee as he rolled behind the monster but nothing occurred to signify that Robogoat felt the hit. SPD Shadow then leaped up and sliced the monster on its back but once again, nothing happened.
Robogoat turned around with a low laugh as his hands crackled with red and yellow energy. "You'll need a lot more to penetrate my thick, steel-like, skin!" He yelled as he shot red and yellow lightning from his hands toward the ranger.
SPD Shadow lifted his blade and used it to block the lightning before he twirled the blade, crackling with Robogoat's energy.
"Thanks for the tip," SPD Shadow said before he launched himself towards Robogoat and landed a hard downward slash to the monster's chest, causing its amber plate armor its crack in the middle, sparks flying against SPD Shadow's helmet as the monster was sent backward into the air.
Robogoat fell to the ground, red and yellow lightning streaking across his body where a large and hideous gash was seen on his armor. SPD Shadow gripped the hilt of his Shadow Saber as Robogoat rose to his feet, smoke rising from his body as he laughed.
"Impressive Ranger. Unfortunately, that will be the only attack that will land on me," Robogoat spat as he summoned his Robo-staff, a large red rod, into his hand before he spun it twice and ran forward.
SPD Shadow ground his feet into the ground before he dashed forward and when they met, they both swung their weapons in unison, causing sparks to fly. SPD Shadow broke the clash and delivered two slashes to Robogoat's chest. Like before, nothing seemed to occur only for Robogoat to deliver two strokes to SPD Shadow's chest, sending him staggering as sparks flew from his chest.
SPD Shadow ducked the wide swing and delivered two quick lunges to the gash on the armor but Robogoat blocked each one and rammed his shoulder into SPD Shadow's chest, sending the ranger stumbling backward, before lunging his staff towards the ranger's head. SPD Shadow managed to smack the polearm away before it pierced his helmet and head then landed a kick to Robogoat's stomach but the monster didn't budge so instead, SPD Shadow kicked off the monster's stomach to gain some distance from the monster.
But just as he kicked off, SPD Shadow was struck with a hard strike to the chest by Robogoat's staff, which was infused with red and yellow lightning, causing sparks to fly from the ranger's chest. SPD Shadow skidded to a stop and fell to one knee as Robogoat charged forward but without warning, a red orb of energy shot past SPD Shadow's left shoulder and slammed into Robogoat, which sent the monster skidding backward before the orb exploded, sending the monster into the air.
SPD Red skidded in front of the kneeling SPD Shadow and said, "Those things are gone. Are you alright Commander?"
"Never better," SPD Shadow panted out.
"Then you won't mind if I tell you to take a break and let me take a crack at him," SPD Red said.
"By all means, Landors," SPD Shadow replied with mirth and pain in his voice. "Just be careful. He seems to be resistant to damage and seems to be more skilled than the average monster."
SPD Red nodded and replied, "No worries. I got the perfect answer to that. SPD SWAT MODE!"

(Theme of S.W.A.T Mode – S.W.A.T Mode from Power Rangers: SPD)
With a flourish of red particles, SPD Red stood in place as the red particles floated to his chest, arms, and legs. With a burst of energy, a metallic vest with a red "1" on the left side and a Morpher holder on the right side, metallic elbow pads, and leg armor.
From the right side of his helmet, sensors sprang out while a communication headset came from the left side of the helmet.
Above him, the Delta Enforcer appeared in a burst of red particles and landed in SPD Red's arms before he slid his Delta Morpher into the holder on the vest and shouted "SPD Red: SWAT MODE!" as the left side of the helmet flashed red along with the "1" on his chest.

POV: Genral]
"Let's see how you handle explosions!" SPD Red shouted as he ran towards the now-standing monster.
"I love them!" Robogoat exclaimed as red and yellow lightning began to form in his hands "Let me show you how much!" The monster lunged both hands forward, causing red and yellow lighting to shoot out towards SPD Red.
SPD Red swayed from side to side to avoid the lightning, each one causing a massive explosion of fire and sparks around him as SPD Red aimed his Delta Enforcer and began to fire, sending bolt after bolt of red energy toward Robogoat.
Robogoat staggered back as each bolt of energy collided against his armor, causing red sparks to fly from the impacted areas. SPD Red skidded in front of Robogoat before he hopped up and delivered a Superman punch to the monster's face, which barely caused the head to move before he used his Delta Enforcer to block the Robo-Staff nailing him in the head.
SPD Red pushed the staff to the side and cracked the butt of the Enforcer against the monster's head, causing it to lean back from the blow before he was kicked in the chest by the monster, which caused a shockwave followed by sparks to fly from SPD Red's chest as he skidded against the ground.
SPD felt his body stop and rolled to the left to avoid weaker red lightning from the left hand before skidding onto one knee and firing three more shots from the Delta Enforcer, each one landing and causing red and white sparks to rain down from the impacted areas.
SPD Red then saw Robogoat fall to one knee and said, "Aw, tuckered out already! If so, let me put you to bed!" SPD Red fired three more shots but this time, Robogoat gripped his Robo-Staff and began to infuse it with his red and yellow lighting, causing it to glow a bright orange and then launched it at the ranger as the beams of energy crashed into against his upper chest, his neck and his leg.
SPD Red saw the electrified staff coming but was unable to avoid it in time was struck in the vest, causing red and yellow lightning to streak across his body as sparks of red and white flew from him. SPD Red then crashed to the ground on his back. Smoke rose from SPD Red's body as his SWAT mode exploded into red particles, but thankfully, he was still morphed. SPD Red rose to his left knee and pulled out his Delta Blasters as he panted heavily. "Landors, are you alright?" SPD Shadow asked as he stepped in front of SPD Red.
"I would have been done for if not for my vest," SPD Red said as he rose to his feet only to stumble and fall back onto one knee. "But I think my SWAT mode is out of commission for a while."
"This is a very powerful foe," SPD Shadow said as Robogoat began to rise to his feet, smoke flowing from the various holes in his armor and body. "But it looks like he can't take much more damage either."
"One more push then," SPD Red summed up as he stood up on both feet.
"Very good," SPD Shadow replied. "We'll take him down together."
Just then, a red light shined behind them, prompting the two rangers to turn around to see the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, standing behind them, his sword drawn.
While his helmet was fully fixed, his suit was still torn from the midsection to the left side of his body, revealing the circuitry beneath the spandex of the suit, and his left sleeve was stripped bare, merely revealing the circuitry of the suit torn suit.
"Sorry I'm late. Mind if I Join in this?" Red asked.
"You're…" SPD Red whispered.
"You're the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger," SPD Shadow said. "You look wounded. Are you alright, young man?"
"I'll be fine, you can't keep a good ranger down," Red replied with a thumbs up.
It was then the trio heard, "The one who defeated Goldar!"
The three looked at the Robogoat, who took a step back in fear. "To think you would a-actually be here…And standing at t-that…" Robogoat stammered out.
"That's right," Red said as he took a step forward past SPD Red and SPD Shadow. "So if you want to face your end as well, then come on and fight!"
Robogoat took a step forward and then tilted his head before he said, "As glorious as it would be to defeat you in combat and bring honor to Master Goldar and Empress Rita, I am too wounded to battle someone as powerful as you."
"Damn…I got out of the healing tank for nothing," Red grumbled.
"Heh, taunt all you want ranger but despite my retreat, my mission is complete as you will soon see!" And with an explosion of red and yellow lightning, Robogoat was gone, leaving the three rangers alone.
"Whew," Red said. "That was close haha."
"Whoa…I've never seen a monster outright retreat in fear before," SPD Red said.
"Damn…I got out of the healing tank for nothing," Red groaned before powering down, revealing his bandaged and shirtless form. "Well, thanks for holding things down until I arrived. I'm Jason."
SPD Red and SPD Shadow demorphed as well, only for Jason to take a step back in shock at the sight of Cruger. "Whoa! You're an alien?!" Jason exclaimed.
Jack laughed and said, "Commander, I think you're going to get this question often."
Cruger was not amused. "What is your name son?" Cruger asked.
"Jason Lee Scott," Jason replied.
"My name is Anubis Cruger. The Commander of SPD. Space Patrol Delta," Cruger introduced before he frowned at the state Jason was in. "You shouldn't have come here as injured as you are."
"I know, Zordon is so going to give Alpha and me an earful once I return to the Command Center but I couldn't let you guys do it alone…That monster was tough," Jason replied. "But also, I never heard of SPD before."
"It is a long story but to shorten it, we're from the future. I'm Jack Landers. SPD Red Ranger…Your successor I suppose," Jack said as he shook Jason's hand.
"Oh cool. Did I train you too?" Jason asked.
"What? No," Jack replied. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, the last rangers were from the future in a different timeline and I directly trained him so I was hoping this would be the same," Jason replied with a sheepish smile.
"You met other rangers?" Jack asked, immediately interested.
"A story for another time Landers," Cruger said. "We must return-"
"Jason!" A voice screamed out. The three turned around to see a bloody Ashley in the doorway with an unconscious Rocky slung over her right shoulder, blood dripping down his face, his shirt torn in several places.
And gripped beneath her left arm was a still unconscious Syd. "T-These two were all I could save…" Ashley said weakly before she fell to her knees and fell unconscious.
"Oh no…" Jack and Jason breathed out in unison as Cruger growled angrily as the cold realization of what the monster said hit the trio like a ton of bricks.
The mission was to distract them…And they had fallen for it…
Hook, line, and sinker.
[Location: Rita's Palace
POV: Rita Repulsa]
"Goldar…You…"
"I know this is unbecoming of someone like me but please allow me to confess something to you…This mission is important to me but if you asked me to stay, I would…Your happiness means more to me than this duel…"
"Why?"
"Because you are important to me…And if something happens and I am to fall, I wish for you to know that I have fallen in love with my Empress. And I understand that it is wrong b-"
"Stay one more night…with me."
"Understood, My Lady…"
"Lady Rita."
Rita's eyes opened as a tear fell down her cheek. 'Goldar…My knight…I will save you…Just hang on a little while longer…'
Quelling her emotions, Rita looked down to see Chronella bowed before her with her head bowed as well. "Forgive me for waking you but I have come to let you know that Robogoat has returned and he has returned with many others," Chronella said as she stood up on her feet.
Rita nodded then stood up from her throne and handed Chronella a clock as she said, "Thank you for letting me know…But it is time for your final mission."
Chronella gave a bow and replied, "It shall be done." Chronella took a step a step back and placed her hands against her chest as shimmering purple lines appeared around her and with a whisper of, "Return me to the time of war," the time bender disappeared in a flash.
"Thank you for your sacrifice," Rita whispered before she walked down the three steps in front of her throne to get her firmly on the ground and walked out of her chambers, a small smirk on her face.
Rita walked down the long corridor but paused briefly to look into the room.
Sitting on a throne with his arms and legs shackled was Tommy Oliver but there was a helmet on his head that glowed a dull red. "Soon…" Rita whispered before she continued on her way to her jail cell where Swan Song, Robogoat, and Morgana stood, the trio watching the group of prisoners in their cell.
"Lady Rita," Both Swan Song and Robogoat said as they bowed to the woman. Morgana on the other hand, merely waved.
"You three did well in taking them," Rita said as she looked at the large group of humans. "Now we start the next part of our plan."
"Which will be?" Morgana questioned with a raise of her eyebrow.
Rita merely smiled and said, "Morgana, you stay here and watch over our guests. Robogoat, Swan Song, with me."
[Location: The Command Center – Healing Chambers
POV: Jack Landers]
Jason and Jack leaned against the table where Syd lay as they glanced at the group currently in the healing chambers, both of them with an expression of anger. "I can't believe they took my team…" Jack said bitterly. "Z, Sky, Bridge, Dr. Manx, Sam…I should've been smarter."
"I should have arrived earlier," Jason lamented. "On top of my team still being injured, Adam, Aisha, Tanya, TJ, and Cassie are missing while Rocky and A-Ashley are injured like this…It sickens me."
"You are still injured from…What are you injured from?" Jack asked.
"Goldar…" Jason replied. "Rita's right-hand man…He managed to take the others down. If not for me being suicidal, he would have won but it is what happened after that that added to my wounds. I still don't know how to deal with that."
"Goldar…Rita…These names are not familiar to me," Jack admitted.
"How? I mean, the Armada Force Rangers knew them. How can you not?" Jason asked.
Jack paused for a moment then answered, "Everything that happened during this time was lost when Drakkon took over."
"Drakkon?" Jason asked.
Jack opened his mouth to answer when he heard a groan of, "Oh…What hit me?" come from behind him.
Jack quickly turned around to see Syd leaning up on the table and a large smile appeared on his face. "Syd! You're awake!" Jack said as he leaned over and hugged her tight. "I'm so glad to see you up…" Jack whispered, his voice sounding relieved. Jack then swiftly pulled away and gave a sheepish laugh. "Sorry…I just got excited."
"Don't be…" Syd replied with a smile, a dusting of pink on her cheeks. The two shared an awkward laugh before Syd asked, "So…Where are we and who are those people in the tanks? And why are their clothes so old-looking?"
"Welcome to the 90's Syd. Names Jason. Mighty Morphin Red Ranger," Jason said with a wave.
At Syd's surprised face, Jack nodded and said, "Yeah…Things are crazy right now."
"Okay…Can I get a short recap?" Syd asked.
"We were transported into the past…Before Drakkon…Fought a tough robot goat and that's when Jason came but while Commander and I were fighting, the others got kidnapped by Rita, their main enemy. After that, we brought you here," Jack said.
Syd blinked before she laid back down and took a deep breath. "Oh…" Syd simply replied.
Both Jason and Jack laughed at this before Jason pushed himself off the table and said, "I'm going to the bathroom. If the red klaxon starts going off, just press the red button on the consoles in front of the tank to start the releasing process."
Jack nodded and Jason left the room, leaving the SPD Rangers alone. "Jack…We're really before Drakkon?"
"Yeah," Jack said.
"This is big…I mean we're right at that turning point?" Syd asked.
"From what Rocky said," Jack replied as he motioned to one of the teens in the healing tank.
"Oh my god…" Syd said. "Y-You know what this means right?"
"That we can potentially change the future," Jack stated. "Trust me, this has been on my mind since I found out where we were."
"Do you think that's a good idea? To tell them?" Syd asked as she slid down the table's side so she could stand beside her teammate.
"I…I don't know," Jack admitted. "I want to. Believe me, I do but…in doing that, what will I change?"
"It's scary…We've never been in this position before…" Syd said softly. "But…Maybe this is the right call?" Syd then laughed. "If Sky was here, he'd be so pissed that we're even having this discussion."
"If Z, Sam, Dr. Manx, and Bridge were here, Z would try and calm Sky, Dr. Manx and Bridge would make up dozens of scenarios in his head. Sam would be saying it was worth it. I mean…Sam came to save us from his own doomed future," Jack said.
"That's right, he did…" Syd said with a gasp. "Hell, he would have already told them with his impulsive ass."
Jack chuckled and said, "So…I guess that leaves us with telling him then."
Syd seemed to debate with herself for a moment before she asked, "Well…If we're going to tell him, it's going to no doubt change our future so…I want to tell you something."
"Oh? What's up, Syd?" Jack asked, noticing how tense Syd had become.
"I…For a long time now...kind of…" Syd played with her fingers as she looked everywhere but Jack himself. "I don't know…Um…Remember when we went on that stakeout?"
"Yeah, the one on your…well our birthday," Jack replied with a smile.
"Our birthday…" Syd replied with a smile of her own. "W-Well…When I saw you hug that Doctor…I um…I was upset but not for the reason you thought," Syd admitted.
Jack was confused as he replied, "I mean, you thought I was blowing our cover. I mean, if I saw you hugging someone cute guy-" Jack paused as he felt a wave of annoyance at the thought, though his features remained easygoing. "-while I was mad at you for choosing me to go on a mission on my birthday, I would be mad too."
"I-I know but It's more than that…" Syd replied.
"More than that?" Jack asked.
"I was jealous of her…" Syd muttered softly.
Jack was surprised. "I-I'm sorry what?" Jack asked, unsure if he had heard her right.
"I w-was jealous," Syd said a little louder.
"Why?" Jack asked, suddenly nervous as he looked down at the blonde ranger. 'Why in the hell am I so nervous all of a sudden?' Jack thought to himself as Syd licked her lips, also nervous.
"Because I wanted to be the one in them," Syd admitted.
Jack felt his heart speed up at this admission. "You did?" Jack asked her.
"More than anything…" Syd answered before she looked away bashfully. "When you first joined our team as the Red Ranger, you were a jerk but since then…You've grown to be a wonderful leader to us and a good friend…But after our birthday…I realized that I…I li-."
Without warning, an alarm began to go off, causing both SPD Rangers to jump. "Damn it!" both rangers said in annoyance.
Just then, Jason walked into the room and exclaimed, "We got trouble!"
[Location: The Command Center]
POV: Jason Lee Scott]
Jason, Jack, and Syd ran into the main area of the Command Center to see Cruger looking at the viewing globe. On the viewing globe was Robogoat, with Morgana and Swan Song behind him. "Attention Power Rangers! We've got your friends!"
"This asshole," Jack said.
"That's a goat," Syd dryly commented.
"If you want your friends to be free, your rangers will need to find them. We have scoured your friends all over the city but don't think this game of hide-and-seek will be easy because there is a time limit!" Robogoat yelled before he held up three fingers. "You all have two hours to find them before the bombs we have on their bodies explode and believe me, we have enough power to level this entire city!"
"Oh fuck off with this!" Jason, Jack, and Syd exclaimed in horror while Cruger growled angrily.
"Clocks ticking Rangers!" Robogoat said before he disappeared in a flash of light.
[Location: Unknown Location
POV: Ashley Hammond]
"You all have two hours to find them before the bombs we have on their bodies explode and believe me, we have enough power to level this entire city!"
Ashley leaned over and switched the radio off. While she didn't remember the specifics, due to being in a healing tank at the time, she knew that SPD and Jason would be able to save their friends.
What she did know however was Jason was going to get himself nearly killed battling Robogoat before the other rangers, still as wounded as him, would come to his rescue.
She was not going to let it come to that.
Ashley spared a glance at the unconscious Goldar before she grabbed her cloak, pulled the hood over her head, and ran out of the room.
[Location: Rita's Palace
POV: Morgana]
Morgana sat in front of the cell that held the unconscious captives but she didn't care about the others. Her eyes rested on the Omega Ranger. From the moment she saw him and fought him, she felt a familiarity that she had never felt before.
It wasn't until she heard his name that she realized why.
This ranger was Sam…The future version of him at least.
It had made sense to her that it was him. He knew her moves, her name, and everything about her. He was truly a match for her. They were friends once…She had used him for Grumm's uses but somewhere in her heart, she liked him.
But now they were enemies.
Anytime they were both on the battlefield, they sought each other out to battle. It never failed. She was in this time because of this rivalry.
But what amazed her was how exhilarating she felt. She would never lie to herself. She had become bored of it all.
Bored of Grumm's pointless grandstanding.
Bored of the countless losses to the Rangers.
Bored with it all.
But whenever the white ranger appeared, she could feel her world shift towards him.
And while it exhilarated her, it scared her.
It scared her because once she stepped off the battlefield, her mind would continue to focus on him. His skill, his over-confident attitude but she felt that in his heart was still the hopeful kid she had met so long ago.
She couldn't keep up these thoughts.
She had to end this…thing between them…
"Let's round them up," she heard Robogoat say from behind her before he walked beside her and opened the cage. The putties soon grabbed all of them but when one reached for the object of her thoughts, she stopped them.
"He's mine to take," Morgana said as she walked into the cage, plucked him from the ground, and placed him on her shoulder.
He was so warm…It made her heartbeat quicken…
"Hey! Empress Rita wants them all together," Robogoat said with a snotty tone.
"Well she'll have them but he's mine to kill," Morgana said.
Robogoat opened his mouth but it was then she heard Rita's voice all around them.
"Let her take him."
Morgana grinned at Robogoat before she vanished in a swirl of purple mist.
[Location: The Command Center]
POV: Jack Landers]
"That monster does not know how to count. He put up three fingers when he said two hours," Syd noted with an amused look.
Jack couldn't help but laugh.
Only Syd would point this out.
"Well, I'm just going to assume we have one hour then," Jason added with a much-needed laugh.
"Levity at a time like this," Alpha stated nervously as he pressed several buttons on the console before him. "Thankfully, with Commander Cruger's Delta Morpher, we can locate the signal where the other SPD Rangers are located."
"Let's just hope the others are located with them," Jason said.
After a few more seconds, Alpha revealed, "I have located them. It looks like there are three locations but one of them is in a very far-off area..."
"They split them up into three sets of three…" Cruger stated as he crossed his arms in thought. "But one of them is far away from those three. Is that correct?"
"Yes. But I wonder why that is," Alpha replied.
Jack frowned at this and said "There are four of us. We can each go after a location and save them."
"But it could also be a trap," Syd said nervously.
"Then we go in as a duo," Jason replied. "We save two groups separately then come together to save the last two. Not to mention, we'll have more backup with your teammates."
"Commander, we don't have much time," Jack told him.
"Zordon," Cruger began as he turned to the leader of the Power Rangers. "What do you propose?"
"Both options are dangerous but at least with you four paired off, you stand a better chance at protecting each other," Zordon replied.
"Then we have a plan," Cruger said.
"I will transport you four to the locations of the first two groups," Alpha said.
Cruger nodded at this and said, "I suppose it is time to begin this mission."
"Then Rangers, let's suit up," Jason said as he pulled out his morpher and shouted, "It's Morphin Time!"
Jack, Cruger, and Syd nodded then pulled out their Delta Morphers and shouted, "SPD Emergency!"

Jack and Syd held up their Delta-Morphers and with a flash of red and pink particles, their respective SPD Ranger suits appeared briefly before them.
Jack and Syd launched themselves backward into the air to perform a backflip, their bodies becoming bright white as the red and pink particles of their respective ranger suits flew behind them.
The particles slammed into their bodies as they landed in a crouch, leaving their bodies in their ranger suit. "Helmet on!" The two exclaimed as the duo raised their heads to look forward, allowing their helmets to appear with a burst of red and pink particles.
"SPD Power Rangers!" The SPD rangers finished a wave of red and pink energy exploded from around as the duo did their respective poses on a platform that held the image of SPD's Badge.

With a shout, Cruger tossed his Commander's jacket from his body, revealing his lower body to be a bright white light before he leaped down and performed a front flip, platinum and black particles of energy swarming around him before he landed, his body in his ranger suit.
"Helmet on," Cruger said as he looked up and platinum-colored particles of energy swarmed around his head to complete his helmet.
SPD Shadow stood in a black room and slowly withdrew his sword as he said "Cutting down hundreds of evildoers…" Gray flames exploded to life as he swung his blade in an arc which made a gray flaming arc in the sky.
"Hell's Police Guard dog…" The red "100" on SPD Shadow's chest began to glow burning bright red as the sirens on the side of his helmet began to glow.
"SPD Shadow Ranger!" SPD Shadow finished a wave of gray energy exploded from around as he posed on the floor that held the image of SPD's Badge.

In the black void, with a red aura flowing around him and his Power sword in his hands, Jason fell toward his power coin, which was hovering in the air with a red orb around it.
Jason raised his blade and sliced through the orb and the moment he did, red and white lightning encased his sword and then his entire body before it exploded, revealing the Red Ranger.
The Red Ranger landed on the ground in a crouch before quickly rising and slashing his blade in a downward arc before stabbing it in the ground. With an explosion of red energy, his personal zord, the Tyrannosaurus, appeared behind him with a red outline and roared in victory as Jason shouted, "Tyrannosaurus!"
[Location: The Command Center]
POV: General]
Red leaned against the console, his suit still showing the damage from his battle with Goldar. "Jason, you do not have to go out there," Zordon told him softly.
"I-I need to…These guys can't do it alone…" Red replied softly, small streaks of electricity going against his body.
"Son, he's right," SPD Shadow said as he placed a hand on Red's shoulder.
Red leaned up and said, "I'll be okay."
"He will because I'll be there to help him," SPD Red said with a thumbs-up.
Red nodded in thanks and walked over to SPD Red's side and nodded. "I'm ready," Red said.
SPD Pink walked in front of SPD Red and said, "We'll talk more when we see each other again."
SPD nodded but to his surprise, SPD Pink gingerly placed her hands on the sides of his helmet and pulled his head down so their helmets met.
"Be safe Jack…" She whispered as she shut her eyes.
"You do the same," he whispered back as he shut his eyes. "I'll be back…"
The two savored the moment for a few seconds longer before they separated and with a thumbs up, Alpha pressed a few buttons before he said, "Everything is ready for transporting."
"Be careful out there and never forget, may the power be with you," Zordon told the four rangers.
It was then SPD Red felt crackling energy against his body and with a sudden yell; he was transported out with Red.

POV: SPD Omega Ranger]
The sun had just set when SPD Omega lifted his head and shook it, dazed and confused. "W-Where am I?" He murmured before he realized he was tied up in some sort of energy rope.
"What the hell is this?!" SPD Omega exclaimed.
"Don't bother struggling," a familiar voice told him.
His head snapped up and there he saw Morgana. She stood on the edge of the platform, looking out into a city he had never seen before, wearing a dark purple dress, her hair glowing in the gentle breeze. "Welcome to Angel Grove. Circa 1993," she softly revealed.
"Angel Grove?!" SPD Omega shouted. "H-How?"
"That monster that came with me and Swan Song, she was able to go back in time," Morgana explained with a shrug. "Grumm wanted you guys sent back, she did it and here we are."
SPD Omega didn't know what was going on. Why did she sound so…different? This wasn't the evil, cocky Morgana he had faced down several times since his time in his time or the past. "It's a beautiful sight…So many different colors below…Looks so different from Newtech City…Don't you agree?"
"It is…" SPD Omega murmured as he glanced at the city. He then looked at Morgana. "Morgana…What is this?"
Morgana stayed silent for a moment before she asked, "How long have we fought, Omega Ranger?"
"Since I became a ranger," he replied. "So from the far future to your current time and I guess since I was little in your present time…" SPD Omega answered honestly. "We've always fought."
"Not always," Morgana whispered. "We were friends once…"
"I thought we were but you used me," SPD Omega retorted.
"I did," Morgana admitted.
Morgana turned around and for the first time, SPD Omega could see a bitter grin on her face. "You and I have quite the relationship," she said. "From the moment we met to now, we've been across the spectrum…Friends…Enemies."
SPD Omega could hear something in that tone.
Was it regret?
No…He was hearing wrong.
"Omega Ranger…Do you know why you aren't with your other friends?" Morgana asked. He didn't get a chance to answer because she quickly said, "Because tonight is when it all ends…" Suddenly, the rings around SPD Omega faded away and he stumbled forward. With a purple flash, Morgana now stood in her battle suit, her helmet on her head. With a flash of light, two knives appeared in her hands. "It is time we end this rivalry, Sam…" Morgana said, a hint of remorse in her voice.
He knew he didn't mishear it that time.
SPD Omega didn't know why but he felt his heart become heavy.
"Very well Morgana," SPD Omega replied. "Let's finish this."
[Location: Angel Grove (Southside) – The Docks
POV: General]
The moment the pair landed at the docks, SPD Red hunched over and said, "Shocking hell man! You guys transport all the time with that?"
"You don't?" Red asked.
"No! We have motorcycles and jeeps and things like that," SPD Red replied. "We are the protectors of the world, you know?"
"Aww that must be nice," Red joked. "I prefer the quicker way of transportation."
SPD Red let out a disgusted sound before he said "Before we get to it, I need to tell you something important…"
"What do you mean?" Red asked.
SPD Red opened his mouth but it was then they heard the cocky voice of Robogoat exclaim, "Welcome to my domain and your deaths, Red Rangers!"
Robogoat landed on the ground before them and summoned his staff as a large amount of Putties appeared around them. SPD Red pulled out his Delta-Blasters as Red summoned his Power Sword.
"There's a lot of them…" Red whispered as he pressed his back to SPD Red's, who shrugged and in response then said "We've faced bigger odds before, I'm sure."
Red smirked beneath his helmet and said "You got that right."
"Get them!" Robogoat exclaimed.
The Putties dashed towards Red and SPD Red. Red ran forward and sliced through three Putties back to back before he ducked the swing of a Putty's sword and sliced through them from head to toe.
SPD Red leaped up and delivered a roundhouse kick to two Putties before he fired his Delta-Blasters at three more, each one exploding upon impact before he turned around and landed a knee strike to the head of a Putty that had tried to sneak up on him.
Red blocked two sword strikes from two Putties before he pushed them forward and sliced through the right Putty's torso diagonally then followed up by slicing the head off the Putty on the left before he pulled out his Blade Blaster and fired a shot at a third Putty that was charging at him.
SPD Red rolled forward and then hopped up to deliver a kick to the chest of two Putties before he landed on his back, flipped back to his feet, and leaned back to avoid a roundhouse kick from two Putties. He then placed the barrels of his Delta-Blasters against their chest and fired three times, causing their bodies to explode.
Red cleaved through the final Putty on his end before Robogoat let out a roar, launched himself forward, and landed three strikes against Red's chest, causing sparks to fly from his chest. Red stumbled backward and blocked three lunging strikes from the monster's staff before he smacked the polearm away from him and struck Robogoat's chest but to his surprise, there were no sparks.
"You'll have to hit me harder," Robogoat exclaimed before he struck Red in the chest with his right fist twice, which caused Red to skid backward into SPD Red, who stumbled forward into a sword strike from two Putties, causing sparks to fly from his body.
SPD Red turned around to see Robogoat coming and quickly turned his body in front of Red's and fired his Delta-Blaster at the oncoming monster while Red repeatedly blocked the sword strikes from the last two Putties before he sliced the heads off both of them.
Robogoat dashed forward, the energy blasts from the Delta-Blasters bouncing off the golden armor on his chest and launched his staff at SPD Red. Seeing this, Red kicked SPD Red in the side to move him before blocking the staff with his sword and forcing it into the air.
"Find the others!" Red ordered to SPD Red just as Robogoat crashed into Red's body, sending the pair crashing through three walls before Robogoat skidded to a stop, which sent Red flying backward towards the edge of the platform, just inches from falling into the water.
Red got to his feet and held his chest in pain, red electricity streaking up his body.
"The Mighty Red Ranger will fall on this day," Robogoat stated with a victorious tone.
Red gritted his teeth, stood up on shaky legs, and summoned his Power Sword into his hand once again. "Not in this or any lifetime," Red said but he then saw his vision begin to blur before he fell to one knee.
The monster laughed. "Well consider this that lifetime!" Robogoat yelled as he charged forward but without warning, a sword crashed into the ground, causing Robogoat to skid in his tracks. Red blinked in confusion.
What was going on?
"Unfortunately, I will not allow that to happen," A familiar voice said, which caused Red's eyes to widen in shock.
Landing on the ground before her sword, Ashley stood up in front of Red, her torn cloak flowing in the wind, causing her hood to blow off to reveal her short hair. She turned her head to glance at the ranger.
"Who are you?" Robogoat questioned.
"It is you…" Red whispered.
"Rest, Red Ranger, because I'm about to put on a show," Ashley said as she reached into her cloak and pulled out her morpher then calmly added, "It's Morphin Time."

With an orange aura flowing around her, Ashley fell into the black void as her power coin, held within a gold orb soared downward ahead of her, going past two orange rings and a black ring in the middle.
Ashley flew through the first orange ring, which closed in on her immediately and then exploded, causing her ranger suit to appear on her body. She then flew through the black ring, which enclosed her and exploded, revealing her black cloak, gloves, and boots.
She then flew through the second orange ring which enclosed her head and formed her helmet. She then reached out and grabbed the gold orb and crushed it within her hand, causing an explosion of gold energy.
When the gold energy slid off of her body, there were gold diamonds around her boots and gloves, gold outlining her jagged "V" shaped visor and mouthguard, gold armored bands around the thighs and upper arms, and the golden armor on her chest.
[Location: Angel Grove (Southside) – The Docks
POV: New Ranger]
"Another ranger?!" Robogoat exclaimed.
"Ash…" Red breathed out.
"I am the World's Final Hope," the ranger began as she reached behind her and plucked her blade from the ground. "Mighty Morphin…" she pointed her blade into the air as the image of her personal Zord appeared behind her and roared in victory, the claw mark on her armor shining brightly. "Dawnbreaker!"
The blade she held in the air shined a bright light as the hilt opened up to reveal a circular orb that shined with bright white-orange light.
She then pointed the blade at the monster before her and declared, "And I will bring light back this world. No matter the cost."
