Up on Mount Olympus for a while now there was chaos.
A nymph had brought ill news to Hera about the Garden of the Hesperides, where her wedding gift from Gaea, the Tree of Golden Apples, the whole region seemed to have been overtaken by a large structure of sorts.
Hera upon hearing that news was quite upset, and cursed and complained loudly. Before she could tell her lord husband, the King of the Gods of this dire news, she happened to see Eris pass by her palace, and in her ill mood, complained first to Eris about the issue, before mocking the Goddess of Discord for no longer having her Symbol of Power, the Apple of Discord.
Eris smiled, said nothing and left.
Ever since the Trojan War when Eris used her iconic apple in its most infamous use, the apple had been taken away from her by orders of Zeus. The goddess was blamed heavily for being the starting incident of the Trojan War, and after everyone took their licks and punishments from Zeus for their roles in the war, all eyes finally turned to Eris.
Her punishment was for her Symbol of Power to be taken away.
The three goddesses who the apple was used upon, were given stewardship over the Discord Apple, rotating their duty of oversight over Eris' Apple.
In the current era, Aphrodite was the one meant to hold the Discord Apple for safekeeping, thus Eris went to the Goddess of Love and provoked her into a frenzy about her current favored mortal, in lieu of not having her Symbol of Power itself.
After looking over all these proceedings, Zeus finally laid down his punishment on the cause of this mess...
The nymph who delivered the news to Hera. She had done so in a manner that left the Queen of the Gods in a foul mood. Thus, she was fired from her position, and banished out of the royal divine palace. That the nymph could still stay in Olympus, was an example of Zeus "growing mercy" over the ages.
Now the gods turn to the other issue. Due to Aphrodite's rampage, or as Hera called it "a hissy fit", the gods were blinded from the ongoings within the new structure that arose from the mountain that was once Atlas' prison.
Before Zeus would have decided to simply smite the tower for its possible danger, and get it over with, an unexpected source of caution arose.
Dionysus Thyia arrived. He most of himself was left at Camp Half-Blood to watch over the divine brat, due to his punishment and all that.
And the God of Revelry brought with him a link to the quest for the gods to watch the ongoing quest again. After some arguing about why Dionysus had such connection, and how he was paid with Hera's golden apples, and the argument that came from that, the god watched on a giant HephaestusTV Cube, within the Olympian Council the battle against Atlas.
"THAT'S MY GIRL!" Shouted a giant amazonian blonde god, at seeing Thalia Grace punch the titan in the face with the force of a lightning bolt.
Hera was sitting next to "her" with a blank look of complete exasperation and annoyance.
"Yes," Hera said, the slightest twitch of her lips. "All hail, Thunderpunch, Daughter or Zeus."
"HAIL!" Ares cheered, with loud laughter.
""H-Hail!"" The various gods cheered nervously, not sure whether the Queen was joking or serious.
"Dear, come on. You know that's not what she mean." Zeus, in his new form for personal entertainment and gratification, turned and said to his wife.
"She called herself Thunderpunch, and we should be supportive of her choices." Hera hide the slightest twitch of her lips, hiding her amusement, at taking a dig at another one of Zeus' beloved bastards.
"Yeah, no, we're not doing that." Zeus snorted, then turned back to watch the battle once more.
Hera subtly rolled her eyes, hiding any annoyance with practiced ease. Still, watching the girl, high on Dionysus' madness was entertaining in its own way.
Maybe she should find a way to keep that madness permanent as a "favor". Unlikely to happen with Zeus protecting the girl, and Dionysus for some reason, seemingly favoring these demigods.
The bastards all looking out for each other.
Hera hide the irritation once more, and just let herself enjoy a titan being in pain.
"Oh wow, roundhouse kick." Commented a mildly interested Hera.
The Thunder Punch as Thalia called it, erupted with an explosion the moment it connected with Atlas.
The titan for the first time in his life, experienced being launched like a burlap sack across the field, skipping across the ground. He quickly rights himself, only to see the daughter of Zeus spinning like a top in the air.
And end that spin with a kick to the face. A bomb of air burst the moment Thalia's booted heel connected to Atlas' noggin.
Atlas literally cartwheeled from the force.
Thalia erupted in laughter from the hilarious image.
"YOU WORTHLESS WRETCH OF ZEUS!" Atlas quickly adapted after that first punch.
Even if he did take a unexpected second hit, he quickly focused on regaining his balance, to immediately begin counter attacking. Almost using the momentum to instantly throw a punch the moment he got his feet back on the ground.
And the punch missed, Thalia nowhere to be found.
"Hey, guess what?" Atlas looked up to find himself face to face with an upside down flying Thalia. A demented smile greeting him. "Turns out, I can't get dizzy spinning. So you know what that means!"
"Wha—?"
Thalia flip to throw a axe kick at Atlas' head.
The titan ducked by crouching before standing with an uppercut. Again Thalia was nowhere to be found.
For she was down by his side, throwing a punch at his kidney.
"OOF!"
Lightning erupted and thunder echoed form the moment of impact.
Then Thalia disappeared again, appearing above Atlas to the side, and dropping an elbow into his collarbone.
"ARGH!" Another hit accompanied with divine electric shock.
Over and over again, Thalia moved, or rather flew with the wind pushing and moving her, while electricity covering her shoes.
She was moving so quickly with the wind and with polarity.
If the magnetic pull or push things is based on the strength of the magnet, and magnets are formed from electricity spinning around things, then with the clouds as my north, and the ground as my south, why shouldn't I pull and push myself around to move faster?
That was the thought in Thalia's head, and thus her divinity enacted her will upon the world, and lightning moved to follow.
Atlas covered his head and torso like a boxer, waiting for the right moment to catch this overconfident, prideful demigod and crush her with his hands.
Thalia kept dashing, flying, literally spinning circles around the titan.
"I'm gonna break those arms off!" She shouted with manic glee, and she punched Atlas' forearms covering his face, over and over again.
"Jump back, Thalia!" Asterios warned from where he was kneeling on the ground. The cracks all over his body pulsed, but kept lowering, slowly in intensity, as he focused on disentangling his overlayed minotaurs, and healing.
"HAH! GOT YOU!" Atlas spread his arms wide, and slammed them from both sides at Thalia, to grab and crush her between his hands.
"Oh?" Thalia said with her toothy smile, as she tilted her head playfully. "Weren't you going to grab me and make me squeal?"
Atlas' hands stopped short from grabbing Thalia. In fact, he couldn't even touch her, as the magnetic force between his hand, and her were made the same. No matter how hard the titan pushed, he couldn't close in to grab her.
"Y-Yooou!" Atlas growled in frustration.
"Look! Look! See how much she's thrashing that titan, Poseidon? And your son isn't even here yet? Heck, he might not have any time to get any glory with how Thalia is going!" Zeus laughed as she side hugged her brother, uncaring of her new giant breasts pushing against Poseidon.
"Juuuust wait. She'll screw up soon and will need saving." Poseidon said nonchalantly, while hiding his annoyance. Come on, Percy! Hurry up already! You need to get in on the action!
"Ha! No, Thalia has it well in hand!" Zeus bragged.
"Welp, you can't touch me." Thalia shook her finger at him. Then pointed it at the titan. Power gathered at her finger tip, as electricity from the air, ground and cloud converged upon her. "How about I. Touch. You?"
"Uh huh. Definitely well in hand." Poseidon deadpanned.
"It's a legitimate threat and context matters!" Zeus argued back.
Just as Thalia was about to launch a concentrated beam of lightning at the titan, Atlas dug his foot into the ground, and kick upward.
He launched a large rock at neck breaking speed right at Thalia.
Thalia's eyes widened and only on instinct did she change the polarity of the rock to be the same as her.
Yet the surprise attack and the force behind the rock, shook off Thalia's focus, thus while the rock didn't touch Thalia, the force pushed against the repellant magnetic force, which in turn pushed against Thalia flying her back.
"Ha! You were saying?"
"Shut up, she can still turn this around."
"Kid! Don't let your back be to the ground! Don't let him corner you!" Asterios shouted from where he observed the fight.
Atlas lunged and was above the flying Thalia. She only barely regained her balance when Atlas punched her.
His fist met her repelling field and would have only pushed her back, but if she crashed into the ground, he would have been able to slowly damage her by smacking her over and over again into the ground.
But with her making the ground also the same polarity as her, Atlas fist and the ground both pushed on Thalia... and the easiest way for the force to move, was for Thalia to slip to the side.
The daughter of Zeus laughed once more at the disbelieving and frustrated look on the titan's face.
She flew once more around him, almost like a ballerina.
A lightning bolt from Thalia's clouds crashed the titan into the ground.
Then she started flying in circle around him intentionally. The wind picked up, the clouds started descending in a cycling cone. Dust and wind rose up around Atlas to meet the cloud circling air.
A tornado formed around Atlas.
"You think some pitiful wind with sway me around? I'm a Titan, you ant!" Atlas shouted, digging his feet into the ground, and shielding his face. "I have felt all this 'might' of yours, and what did it amount to? Nothing! A warm tingle. A static feel. And soon I will—"
Thalia moved with the tornado and superman punched Atlas in the chest.
The blow and raging winds took the titan off his feet and spun him like a ragdoll around the twister.
Thalia kept wailing on Atlas. Punches and kicks, with lightning coursing through her limbs, delivered with each hit. The cries of the thrown around titan twisted and pulled left and right along the tornado, echoing out like an funny repeating Doppler effect video.
Yet no matter how good the battling was going, one must never forget who their opponent was.
Despite all her strength, divine and physical Thalia was still fighting a titan.
And no matter how much het gets battered, Atlas was still the Titan of Endurance.
And also the Titan of Strength.
Thalia kept flying in and out of the tornado like she had no obstacle. The winds acting for her as if it was a harmless breeze, and not sharp gales, that could ripe buildings to pieces from their motion.
Atlas tanked the hits, covering his vital areas. Mostly his face.
He waited.
And waited.
And waited.
And finally on one of the time Thalia was flying toward him with a punch, opposite to the rotation of the tornado, to hit him with the highest force head-on, the titan acted.
Atlas summoned and focused his titan power into his arm. He swung his fist just as Thalia neared him, making his eyes widened, her instincts screaming at her that something was different.
The magnetic force making Atlas fist and Thalia's body have the same charge thus repel each other, meant his fist would never reach her.
Yet the kinetic force behind his punch pushed against Thalia's field, and in doing do launched Thalia away with such speed, force and momentum that she didn't expect.
Thalia was launched in the air, and slammed into the ground with a cry. A crater left from the impact.
Atlas rotated along the tornado once, and with a kick so fast, he managed to kick the air itself. Thalia's shock weakened her control over the winds, allowing Atlas to break free.
With a boom, he launched himself from the tornado breaking it from the motion, as the winds began to disperse.
The titan launched himself in an arch, Thalia only beginning to get up.
The slammed down at her with both arms.
Her magnetic field stopped him from hitting her. Yet the magnetic field itself only pushed down into the ground, as she had no place to escape, so slip out of. The force of Atlas hits and concentration ensuring that.
"GAH!" Thalia cried as she felt herself being crushed against the earth. The surprise and pain making her forget to make the ground repel her too.
Desperation filled Thalia as she blasted Atlas with a lightning bolt. He shouted in pain, but didn't allow even one step back.
She fired again and again, but Atlas endured.
"HAhahaha, you have nothing, demigod. And now you will be reduced to nothing!" Atlas shouted as he pushed through all the lightning to attack Thalia over and over again.
Her magnetic field seemed to be weakening with each hit, as if Atlas was targeting her defensive powers itself.
Over and over and over.
Until—
BAM!
A column of water the size of building and the force of a tsunami slammed into Atlas launching him aside.
"THAT'S MY BOY!" Poseidon roared in joy, pumping his fist in the air.
The God of the Sea turned to his "brother" with a massive knowing grin.
"Told ya." He said.
"Aaah, shut up. Your son stole my daughter's second wind, and moment of triumphant surprise comeback." Zeus said back grumpily.
"Why you! ...Just admit that he saved her!"
"Never! Thalia had it handled!"
"About as handled as you finally figuring to walk with those breasts. You look ridiculous walking or jogging, you know."
"I have you know I figured that you ages ago. That's called a strut with style, and I have already received a lot of fans due to it."
"Yeah, right. I bet—"
Hera cut in by literally imposing herself between the two Gods of the Sky and the Sea.
"You two are not having some sexually charged argument that ends with you both fucking. I already don't tolerating Zeus' dalliance, but if you sleep with your brother; I swear by Hestia, I will fucking blow up!"
Zeus and Poseidon quietened down, and looked away awkwardly, before focusing back on the battle in the Labyrinth.
Hestia, still tending the central hearth, shot Hera a look, raising an eyebrow.
Hera huffed, crossed her arms, and went back to watching the Quest as well.
A rumbled erupted all around the floor, as seawater gather and was summoned from every corner of the Labyrinth and from the depth of the earth.
"Yo, Sparky!" Percy arrived surfing a very waves of the sea that now filled the area, surrounding Atlas like living sharks, and acting as a comforting safe haven for Thalia, Percy and the rest of the Quest fighters that arrived now. "See? This is why you don't jump ahead with us."
"I had it handled, Seaweed!" Thalia groaned as she got up, taking Percy's extended hand to be pulled to standing up.
Artemis and her Hunters came and stood by Percy and Thalia.
"Atlas..." Artemis began with a scowl, before thinking better and just smiling. "This is gonna be painful for you."
"This is the end for you, father." Zoe Nightshade promised.
And Annabeth giggled, muttering something to herself. Or she was talking to herself. The group wasn't sure, as she only started doing it.
Bianca and Pasiphaë were by Asterios' side. Bianca was acting like a sad drunk, just hugging him, and crying pitifully, while Pasiphaë cast healing spells, and gave her son potions, and just outright one of the Golden Apples to eat.
He was already an immortal being, but the apple would even add more to his power, and importantly, his vitality to speed up his recovery.
"A goddess, a huntress, other demigods, none of it matters." Atlas said as he stood up, cracking his neck from that last hit, before shrugging it off as well. "You are all simply more ants before me. The end of this play won't change. You will all die, and I will not be forced under the sky."
"Who said anything about putting you back under the sky?" Percy said, much to Atlas' confusion before raising his hand up.
Water shot to his palm, condensed and enlarging. Almost after it was going to turn to ice from the pressure, only in defiance of physics it stayed as water. Growing larger and larger, taking shaped till Percy held trident as big and tall as blue whale.
"What?" Atlas said, hesitation entering his voice for the first time.
The daughter of Zeus alone was strong, almost a threat really, but while straining to fight against, Atlas could still handle her, without issue.
But now another demigod of this new maddened strength?
Looking at the new Huntress who was giggling, and the one balling her eyes out over the bull monster, Atlas started to feel worried. This might become a difficult battle after all.
"We aim to send you to Thanatos, father. Permanently. No more merciful reprieve like holding the sky." Zoe threatened, making Atlas' eyes widened, and now that worry solidified into something real.
"Hey, Atlas." Percy grinned, catching the titan's attention. "Catch!"
And the Son of Poseidon threw the towering water trident.
