So...I'm super stressed very likely not going to get any sleep tonight so I'm writing this chapter to distress often find it helps me to write either very dry unemotional scenes grim horrific scenes or just the villain getting the crud beat out of them or otherwise receiving their comeuppance most helps me de-stress anyway the conversation between Donatello and Belladonna does reference events in stories that have not yet been written but I'll try to keep it as vague as possible to avoid spoilers
So Donatello and Belladonna talked long into the night going over all their options about how to best deal with Leo…
"Remember Donny…" Belladonna said softly as she wrote down the last couple of notes "...Sometimes we have to stand up to those we love, because we love them...Remember what we all had to go through last year?"
Don took a deep breath "It's just so hard...To break out of old habits...So long it was just our family and a few friends…"
"But it isn't that way anymore!" Belladonna said "You ARE members of society now and you're not alone! And as members of society...You may have to let Leo be arrested for child endangerment…"
"You think any jail would be able to hold Leo?" Don asked trembling at the thought
"If not the jails of your world...Our jails surely can!" Belladonna said "...As our dimension has been a multi-species society for thousands of years we've learned how to contain creatures with various kind of creatures after all they've learned how to contain my people the Dragons…"
Don sighed and stared back down at his feet as he twiddled his thumbs, he thought about this maybe what was needed to break Leo out of his bad habits of rigidly following the code of Bushido and jumping to the word 'honor' like a dog whistle if he basically got what was 'time-out for adults' and had to sweat it out in a cell..All the things that happened when they were teenagers was one thing that only involved themselves and their close friends like April and Casey but now that he had gone too far and was putting the lives of his students at risk all because someone told him his honor depended on it!
The next day on the small Japanese island near the Castle of the White Ronin, the Students had a chance to explore the island, on the opposite end from the Inn there was a small fishing village (Complete with satellite dishes and television antennas) there was a Shinto shrine but then they heard Bacon Bit yelling "Everybody come and look what I found!" All the Mutants came running and found a large graveyard...With open graves for each of them!
At the same time, Piston Hondo had been making calls to someone he knew from one of the Japanese History Museums...He told her about this situation about the White Lotus and she told him she had never heard of this 'White Ronin' either and Hondo told her apparently the White Ronin was connected with the Ninja Tribunal...Remembering what Leonardo explained to them, he told her the Ninja Tribunal apparently founded Ninjitsu in the Early Forth Century…
The Museum Curator knowing how dire the situation was when Piston Hondo said innocent young mutants were in danger and because Piston Hondo was a such a generous donor said she would check the ancient records in both Iga and Koga but it was obviously going to take a while
"I understand…" Hondo sighed "...It's all I ask of you to check every possible source!"
Having done that, he then called his closest friend in the WVBA, Great Tiger.
Since they both knew about the situation with the White Lotus Great Tiger knew why Hondo was asking when he asked "How far can you teleport?"
"Not all the way to the other side of the world!" The Indian man exclaimed "I know the situation is dire but that is beyond the scope of my power! Even my Father can more easily teleport something else to the other side of the world than he can himself! I know because I've...Seen him do it."
Hondo sighed "All right...I know I can't ask you to do something that's impossible…"
"Hang on…" Great Tiger said "...I'm getting an idea, let me get back to you later."
So this chapter is mostly just setting the ground work for things to happen later...Also the RPG Book says the Old Man who met them at the airfield, the Innkeeper can be coaxed into demonstrating his skill at Zen Archery if the characters have been respectful, while the Students were not deliberately mean I think Rover and Goku's horseplay in the bath and the Mutant's terrible table manners disqualified that option which I think is better because now I can get onto the meat of this story of the Deadly Game of Death
