Chapter 4

After the tournament Havok and his team hang out with each-other getting ready for tomorrow when the rest of the tournament will take place.

"So Rockslide. What's your story?" Iceman asks.

"Well, just like any mutant, I was a normal human, but when I turn 16 my skin started growing rocks over it, I of course was freaked out, and so where my parents, but luckily, Charles Xavier came to us and offered me to join a school to help me. So then I became a student here." Rockslide responds.

"We all understand that. What's your real name anyways?" Havok asks.

"Santo Vaccarro."

"It's good to meet you." Iceman responds.

"Thank guys. You all are the first to be my friends."

"Hey no problem buddy." Sunspot responds.

"Well this is my room. I will see you guys later." Rockslide says as he enters his dorm

Then Havok's team get into their dorm as they rest for the next day.

The next day the students wake up and get ready for the finally of the tournament, they get breakfast and head over to the area.

Havok's team and Rockslide sits by each other ready to see who is next.

"Alright! Today's round! Iceman! vs Sunspot!" Nightcrawler yells exited.

The two look at each other confused for a little bit, but then realize this

will be the perfect oprotunaty to test each other.

The friends walk onto the arena and get ready to spar.

"May the best mutant win." Iceman says as he gets into ice form.

"Oh you're on!" Sunspot replies as he engulfs himself into solar energy.

"READY? FIGHT!"

Then Iceman jumps up and creates a ice path letting him glide along the arena and blast ice spikes at Roberto.

Sunspot then blasts his solar powers melting the ice spikes and flying towards Bobby as he throws solar balls at him.

Iceman then blasts ice beams at them, stopping them from hitting him.

He then turns his ice glide to Sunspot as they rush at each other, with Roberto grabbing him as they brawl each other.

The two throw punches at each other as Iceman's hands melt slightly, and Sunspot's hands sizzle out slightly as they land on the arena separating them.

Just as they get up they blast each other and have a beam struggle of solar and ice.

But Sunspot's starts weakening with Bobby getting closer untill his ice beam overpowers him and blasts Roberto backwards and knocking him down.

"Winner! ICEMAN!" Nightcrawler exclaims with even the audience joining in cheering.

However he walks over and helps his friend to his feet.

"You fought xtremely good and hard." Bobby says.

"Thank you. You fought hard. You deserve it." Roberto responds as they shake hands.

They return over to to their friends and see Havok looks confused.

"Hey Havok, what's up? You look confused." Roberto asks.

"I'm looking at the board of participants, but I don't see my spot on it. Even though I signed up." Alex says concerned.

"That's odd. Maybe their where to many slots and you did'nt make the cut." Bobby suggests as he slurps on a slushy to regain his ice.

"Maybe...That sucks. Oh well. At least you can be the champ." Havok says bringing back a smile.

"Thanks man. I truly am sorry about you not being in this tournament. But hey, all of us could spar with each other later." Bobby responds.

"You're right! But for now. You need to keep your cool and win this!" Havok says to hype him up.

"Hell yea!"

"Next fight! We have Iceman!"

Bobby then walks onto the ring ready for his opponent.

"Vs! Psyclock!" Nightcrawler yells her name as she walks onto the arena, ready to fight.

"Oh man! This is perfect! I can finally deal with your bitchiness and avenge Rockslide!" Bobby says.

"HMP. Oh you mean that rock boy that could barley put up a fight? Why do you care about him? He was weak." Psyclock says.

"Wow. You can't seriously be this rude! Rockslide is strong at heart and a good mutant! You on the other hand are power hungry and a bitch! And i'm going to teach you a lesson!" Iceman says as he turns into his ice form.

"Ready!? FIGHT!"

Iceman then charges at her blasting ice spikes at her, with her slicing the spikes away from her.

Meanwhile we see Rouge and Prof X talking to each other.

"Professor. I was wondering. Why are you letting boys and girls spar against each-other? Isn't that one sided?" She asks.

"Well Rouge you see. If these students want to become heroes they need to know how to deal with the oposet sex. For example, say a female X Man only knows how to fight other females, but when she is on a mission but she is fighting a male opponent, she won't know to think a different way to gain the upper hand. Same with the males, they might go to hard on a female opponent and seriously hurt them not in a protective way. So they learn early on how to think when fighting. That's why." Xavier responds.

"Wow. I never thought of it that way." Rouge says.

"Indeed. You still have much to learn. But you are on the right track." Charles says as they continue watching the match.

Back over with the match, Iceman shoots multiple ice beams towards Psyclock, but she dodges them all and blasts purple energy hitting Bobby in the chest knocking him back, then she rushes over swinging her katana as Iceman blocks with his ice skin, but she kicks him in the chest, knocking air out of him, then jump kicking him in the face knocking him to the ground.

"Alright. Now I'm mad!" Iceman yells as he creates ice spikes over his chest, arms, and legs.

"Now try this!" He says as he punches at Psyclock with her dodging his punches, however some of his spikes do cut her arm and legs.

But she counters it by swinging her sword cutting the points of his spikes and dulling them, then returning with a charged kick to his chest, knocking him back a good distance and knocking whatever spikes where left off him.

Bobby gets back up and goes to ice glide, but when he goes to create ice it shudders out.

"What?" He asks as he tries to make more ice but it won't come out.

"(Oh no! My ice, after fighting Sunspot, I gained a lot of heat, and the frozen drink could only do so much, but add her energy powers and her superior strength, I lost more ice. Now either I can only be in ice form, or revert back to human to use my powers again. But I won't have good defense ageists her.)" Bobby thinks in his mind.

"AHG! Fuck it!" Iceman yells as he turns back into human form and creates ice throwing stars and tosses them towards Psyclock.

She slices them up with a few cutting her, but she presses on running at the ice mutant, as she arrives she continues swinging her blade, with one cutting his arm as he grunts in pain, but manages to grab her arm and freeze it over.

"HA! Without your dominate arm, you won't be able to use your sword as effectively!" Bobby says.

"Who said this was my dominate arm?"

"What?"

Psyclock then kicks Bobby in the face, blasts her arm and katana free with her energy, grabs her sword with her left hand and bashes the handel into his chest, and knocking him out.

"Winner! Psyclock!"

"(HUFF) You gave me a decent match. But no where even close to beating me." She says cold.

"D-Damn it!" Bobby says barley able to move.

Havok, Sunspot, and Rockslide rush over and help up their friend.

"How was she able to use her sword so well with her other arm?" Sunspot asks.

"She must be ambidextrous. A rare thing where both arms are dominate." Rockslide suggests.

Later on, Iceman is sitting with his freinds but has an ice pack over his arm to heal it.

They and everyone else look at the leader board wondering who Psyclock is facing next.

"It doesn't make sense. No one is next. Who is it?" People ask.

"Alright everyone. This evening, the final match will be Psyclock vs..."

Everyone waits eargrly to hear.

"HAVOK!"

"What!? I'm the final match!?" Alex asks surprised as the final slot reveles to be him.

"That's right everyone! Stay tuned this evening for the final match!" Nightcrawler announces.

"Wow. I did not see that coming." Iceman says star struck.

"Did you plan this?" Sunspot asks.

"No. I don't know why this is this way. But if it's the case. I better start training hard!" Havok says getting up from his seat.

"You can't be serious. This evening is in 4 hours." Rockslide says.

"That means I have 4 hours to push my body to the very limit." Alex responds as he heads off to the Danger Room.

At the Danger Room Havok puts the difficultly to normal and starts training in it, buzz saw popping out of the floor, laser turrets blasting at him, and robot soldiers shooting at him.

Havok dodges the blasts and while jumping though hoops and over ledges to strengthen his body.

An hour goes by and he is still in their, starting to sweat bad, and after a weak jump, trips over hitting the metal floor as a laser hits him, thirfor the room resets with no traps.

Havok lays on the floor exhausted, but then Cyclopes enters.

"Hey Alex. Training hard I see." He says as he throws his younger brother a hydration drink.

"*Exhales* Thanks Scott. Hey did you set it up to where I would be last?" Alex asks as he takes a drink.

"No. I didn't even see that coming either. I was also wondering why you where not on the board in the first place."

"Yea. It's weird. But I;m going to train my body up and do the best I can."

"I know you will do great. You got this." Cyclopes says as he heads out.

After Havok rests up he continues training and when it's time he heads over to the arena as he looks at Psyclock ready for the fight of his life!
