Return of the R…
Location: Heahea City
I sat on a bench in the happy-go-lucky city waiting for the two detectives. I'm no Hoenn Battle Frontier expert, but that must have been the one that went missing two years ago. You see, there was a meteorite that was about to strike the Hoenn region. All of Hoenn's most important Trainers came to everyone's aid, but one of them got blown away to sea. Most people had just given her up for dead, but clearly (and thankfully), they were wrong.
"Alola," said Looker, walking over to me with Anabel. "Come, there is someone I want you to meet."
Location: Route 4
We walked north out of Heahea to Route 4 where Looker and Anabel went to what looked like a small pathway in the trees. "This place is a secret," Looker told me.
"A SECRET ROTO?!"
I covered Rotom Dex's mouth. "Don't you know what a secret is?" With that, we went through.
Location: Pikachu Valley
We were in a small hamlet filled with… Pikachu? There was also a campervan and a lake.
"This is a fascinating place," I said. "What's with all the mascots?"
"It's just where they live," Anabel said.
You would think with Pikachu being popular worldwide that more people would know about this place. Actually, it was pretty well hidden.
"Hey, look!" Rotom Dex said. He also saw a Pichu and two forms of Raichu. The Alolan Form and Kantonian Form.

Because so many Trainers like the way Pikachu looks, you don't see this Pokémon very often.

We even saw a Mimikyu amongst them.
"So, is it a Pikachu that I should meet?" I asked.
"Actually, it's this person," said Looker. From the campervan came a man, early 20s, wearing what looked like an Unown O on his shirt. He had a Pikachu with a detective's hat on his shoulder.
"Alola," he said. "My name is Tim Goodman from Rhyme City. I was called to come to Alola to do some… investigating."
"Into what?" I asked, just as I saw a man walk into the Valley. "Looks like we have a guest."
He came up and stroked the head of one of the Pikachu. He then put down some sort of contraption. "What izz he doing? Roto."
He switched it on, and it started letting of electric pulse. All the Pikachu started gathering around it. "Now!" the man shouted.
"WHAT?!" we all said, just as what looked like a female Team Rocket Grunt appeared from the bushes and fired a net from a bazooka at all the Pikachu.
"What's going on?" Looker said. "In the name of the International Police, you are under arrest!"
"Oh are we?" the man said, ripping off his uniform to reveal himself in Team Rocket attire, albeit with the R on his uniform behind rainbow coloured. This went for the female one to.
"Team Rocket?!" I shouted. "But… I thought you disbanded years ago! What are you doing back?"
"Silence!" the female one said. "These Pikachu are ours!"
"You'll have to go through us first!" I shouted.
"Yeah, u- wait, us?" Anabel asked.
"Yeah!" I said. "You want your memories back, right?"
"I… guess I do?" she said. "Fine, I'll join!"
Elliott and Anabel Vs. Team Rocket Grunts
"I choose Muk!" shouted the Male Grunt, sending out the purple blob.

The stench it gives off will make your nose scrunch up. Still, there are Muk fans who think that's a good thing.

"Haunter, go!" Out came the Ghost Type.
"I choose Incineroar!" I shouted. A Dark Type would be just what was needed for Haunter. "Anabel, what about you?"
"Oh, yeah. That's right. Go Alakazam." Out came a yellow Pokémon holding two spoons.

Its brain cells continue to increase in number until its death. The older an Alakazam, the larger its head.
Abra -Lv 16- Kadabra -Trade- Alakazam
"Great!" I said. "A Psychic Type will deal big damage to both Poison Types!"
"Will it? Okay, I'll try. Use Psychic!" Alakazam blasted Muk with Psychic energy, defeating it at once.
"That's powerful!" I shouted.
"Now Haunter, Shadow Ball!" Haunter fired a Shadow Ball at Alakazam. Amazingly, Alakazam took it.
"Now use Darkest Lariat!" Incineroar span round and round, hitting Haunter. It was a Critical Hit that knocked it out in one blow.
"How?" said the female Grunt.
"Wait…" Anabel said. "It's coming back to me… Alakazam, use Psychic on the net!" Using telekinetic abilities, Alakazam ripped the net in half. All the Pikachu escaped. They were not happy.
"Okay!" Looker said. "You are coming to the precinct to talk about what is going on!"
Both Grunts sniggered. "Not today," they said, teleporting off.
"No!" I said.
"Hey," said Anabel. "At the very least the residents are safe."
"This can't be true," I said. "Team Rocket making ANOTHER comeback."
"If it helpzz, Roto. I recorded them teleporting away."
"Really?" I said. "Can we see the footage?"
Rotom Dex played it back for us. The teleportation was… the same that Faba used to teleport back at the Aether Foundation raid! "It's so weird," said Tim.
"It's worse," I said. "I need to make a call."
"You can use my laptop," Looker said.
"No way!" Gladion said through the monitor.
"Yes way," I replied. "This Team Rocket. Is this part of that warning?"
Gladion nodded. "I'm afraid it is. Faba is coming back with a vengeance, and a team. Team… no. I shouldn't say it here. I'm currently in Cerulean City. Saying something like this out in public is not a good idea."
"What can we do?" I asked.
"Just continue your journey," Gladion said. "There are… some people coming to help." With that, he shut off the call.
We all looked at each other worryingly.
"This can't be good," I said.
"My suspicious were true then," Looker replied. "Team Rocket. They are back."
"I… wait!" Anabel said. "That battle with Team Rocket! Back when the Battle Frontier first opened, there was an attack by Team Rocket during their attempts!"
"Anabel!" Tim said. "Your memory! Is it… back?"
"Yes!" she replied. "My name is Anabel, Tower Tycoon of Hoenn's Battle Frontier!"
"Are you going to return?" I said.
"I want to…" she said. "But here's the thing. If we have a big threat like this, you will need a strong Trainer. I will return straight afterwards. Wait… I also remember! The meteorite incident! And Hoenn's Champion! We saved the world from the meteorite strike! I'll stay here until Team Rainbow Rocket are stopped."
"Sounds good," I replied. "Looker, shall we part ways?"
"Yes," he replied. "Go and do your own thing. Try not to worry too much about what is going on. I will continue to look into things."
