Chapter 6: Meeting the Headmaster
Dumbledore's Office
Luffy and Nami are now standing in front of the desk where Hogwart's School Headmaster Albus Dumbledore is currently residing. The old man has some mystery about him which made the 2 pirates rather wary since he is part of Harry's past before he appeared on the Sunny's lawn decking during her maiden voyage from Water 7 10 years ago. Harry however pays no attention as he happily pets the phoenix Fawkes on his golden perch and awes at him with his beauty. Dumbledore turns to Harry and smiles to see how well the boy has been in the past 10 years since he was declared dead by the Ministry, only to resurface later on, starting the Boy who Vanished controversy to spread.
"I was not expecting to see Harry until the start of term" said Dumbledore before turning to the pirate King and Queen. "But since Harry is obviously being raised by a loving couple who took him in, I understand that you want to know more about this School first-hand. I believe that Minerva explains you about what we do at Hogwarts."
"Indeed, and I believe it sounds like a wonderful school...but that's not the only reason why we are here." Said Nami
"Aye, we want to know how this connects Harry to anything...and..."
Dumbledore raised his hand to stop Luffy as he completely understands.
"I think I get your reason, and I'll be happy to answer any of your questions, but please wait for just a moment, please."
"Why?" said Nami when suddenly the sound of knocking is made on the office door.
"Come in" said Dumbledore and the door opens up. Entering the office is a large man dressed in a large brown trench coat with furry shoulders and collar. He has long black bushy hair and a beard to match in length.
"You called for me, Professor Dumbledore, sir?"
"Yes Rubeus, thank you for coming." Said Dumbledore before turning to Luffy and Nami. "I need to have a private talk with Mr. And Mrs. Monkey here, so do you mind giving Harry a tour around the castle grounds and perhaps offer him refreshments at your hut."
"'Arry's here?" said the large man until he saw Harry just turned to look up at him. He smiled with delight and approached him while offering the boy his large hand to shake. "'Ello there, 'Arry. You may not remember me since you were just a little baby. I knew your parents back when they students here at 'Ogwarts. Names Rubeus 'agrid."
"Hello, Hagrid" said Harry accepting Hagrid's hand and shakes it. He then turns to his mother. "Is it alright to go with him?"
"Of course, you know where we are" said Nami while pulling out her tracker from her pocket to show Harry. "And I know where you are should you wander off."
Harry nods at his mother and leaves with Hagrid. Once the two are out of the office, then Luffy and Nami can start talking with Dumbledore.
"Now then, let us talk" said Dumbledore while picking up a yellow lemon shaped sweet from the sweet bowl on his desk. "Sherbet Lemon?"
"No thank you" said Nami while Luffy literally reaches out his arm to grab a few. This shocked Dumbledore seeing Luffy's arm stretch out like rubber while Nami palming her face at her husband while making an irritated look, "Luffy...
BONK!
"Ow!" Luffy said as he is now rubbing his head after punched him.
"Do you ever think? We are NOT in our world anymore!" said Nami with a tick mark throbbing on the side of her temple while clutching her fist which she used to pound Luffy for her stupidity. She calmed down and returned her attention to Dumbledore. "Sorry, my husband ate a devil fruit which made him stretch like rubber."
"Devil Fruit?" said Dumbledore
"Aye, I ate the Gum Gum Fruit" said Luffy as he pulled hard on his left cheek and stretches it. "See?"
BONK
"Ow, again Nami?" Luffy exclaimed when Nami punched him again.
"And I'll do it again if you keep it up" said Nami frowning at her husband. "Again, not our world. So, behave, or you'll be sleeping in the crow's nest for a month."
"Fine" said Luffy pouting as he rubs his head.
"Again, sorry about that." Said Nami "To cut a long story short, devil fruits are rare magical fruits which grants anyone who eats it unique powers, but robs them the ability to swim."
"I see, and are there others with these powers?" said Dumbledore
"Aye, we have a few within our crew who ate a devil fruit, each with their own power." Said Luffy "Even Harry ate one..."
"Wait, what?" said Dumbledore
"Oops" said Luffy covering his mouth when he realised, he made another mistake.
"Grr Luffy!" said Nami as she now lost it and tackles her husband to the ground and starts beating the shit out of him. "WHAT. HAVE. I. TOLD. YOU. YOU. IDIOT?!"
"Wah, I'm slipped up, I'm sorry Nami" Luffy pleaded as he tries to stop Nami fro hurting him.
All Dumbledore could do is watch while a sweatdrop pour down from his temple, for the first time in his life he is speechless by what he is seeing right now. He wanted to call out, but his better judgement denied him, afraid that Nami would do the same if he interrupts her punishing her husband.
Why does this remind me of Lily and James all of a sudden? Thought Dumbledore
Later, Nami returned to her seat while Luffy remains on the floor, hogtied by his own rubber limbs and gagged by his own Straw Hat.
"I am so sorry about that" said Nami with an apologetic smile on her face while Luffy tries to struggle free from his own limbs wrapped around his body. "My husband, bless him, is an idiot and never thinks. So, it's best we talk instead."
"O-Of course" said Dumbledore with cold sweat dripping down as he is now nervous around Nami and had to make sure not to anger by accident. "So Mrs. Nami, what do you want to know"
"First, I want to know how could Harry be attended to this school, when we just heard about it recently" said Nami
"Ah, it's quite simple actually" said Dumbledore as he pulls out a book, the Book of Admittance from one of the desk drawers and presents it to Nami. "This tome here has all the names of the new students which the parents have arranged for their children to attend here when they turn 11. Harry's parents, Lily and James Potter had Harry ready to attend the moment he was born. Please, take a look if you want. All the names here are written by a magical quill known as the quill of acceptance, Harry's name is written down by Lily herself."
Nami nods as Dumbledore opens up the book of admittance and shows her the page where Harry's name is written on, along with the signatures of Lily and James potter on the side.
"As you can see, Harry's education was arranged already and the letter sent by me is protocol since Harry is now 11 years old." Said Dumbledore
"I see" said Nami "Then I must accept it then"
"As the new guardians of Harry, you have the right to revoke the attendance to Hogwarts" said Dumbledore "if you're not sure if you want him to attend."
"It's entirely up to Harry for that, I can't deny him of that choice" said Nami as she closed the book. "I raised him to have that right to choose, so let him decide."
"How thoughtful of you" said Dumbledore with a smile, he is happy that Nami would let Harry choose for his own rather than let her decided if he goes to Hogwarts or not.
"Now for my next question" said Nami "How did Harry's parent's die?"
Dumbledore sighs sadly at this, but tells it anyway.
"Lily and James just started as a couple, they married weeks later after they graduated from Hogwarts so they were young parents." Said Dumbledore as he is about to tell a tragic tale of Lily and James's death.
With Harry and Hagrid
Hagrid brought Harry to the Castle Grounds and showed him around for a while before they could make their way to the hut. Harry stared at the hut and smiled as it looks quite homey and comfortable to live in. It may not look much for wveryone, but it is quite accommodating for Hagrid since he does work around the grounds of Hogwarts. Next to the hut is a thriving vegetable patch where heads of cabbage are grown with a scarecrow posted in the middle to ward off pesky crows who want to feast on the crops.
"'ere we are, 'ome sweet 'ome" said Hagrid as he starts to open the door and goes right in. "Come right in, I'll brew some tea for us."
Harry nods as he enters the hut, it is mainly one room but it includes a bed to sleep with and a pair of large seatees facing an old cooking stove. On one of the seatee is a snoozing dog with dropping jowls on the side of it's short snout.
"This 'ere is Fang, don't worry 'e's 'armless" said Hagrid as he gives Fang a pet on the head. "Ain't ya, ye big softy"
Fang merely groans in response when he felt his master's large hand pet his head and continues to sleep. Harry smiled and took a seat on one the seatee next to Fang and pets him too.
"So what do you think? I know it's not much but it's 'ome" said Hagrid as he starts making the tea at the stove.
"It looks amazing" said Harry "I bet it's nice to sleep steadily rather than the constant swaying on the Sunny"
"Sunny?" said Hagrid as he pours the tear in the pot.
"Thousand Sunny, she's our ship and where I lived all my life." said Harry
"A ship? Wow, my you must've 'ad plenty of adventures, eh" said Hagrid as he gives Harry a cup of tea and one of his homemade rock cakes.
"And some of my own" said Harry with a proud smile. "But it wasn't all fine and dandy for us, since we are pirates running from the law."
"Pirates? Yer telling me that those nice people who raised ya are pirates?" said Hagrid. "As in raiding ships, attackin' ports and whatnot?"
"Well...not merchant ships and ports, but we did fight rival pirates and go against the navy" said Harry "But there are times where they angered the World Government that they branded each of us criminals and wanted us dead."
"Don' tell be you gotten' yerself a bounty as well, 'Arry" said Hagrid with concern.
"Aye, and as a toddler too" said Harry as he laughs with amusement. "They call me the Vanishing Child."
"Vanishin' Child? Well, that is a coincidence, we've been callin' you the Boy who vanished" said Hagrid. "But can you ask me why they called you the vanishin' child, 'Arry?"
"because of this" said Harry as he suddenly vanished in front of Hagrid, shocking the groundskeeper when he saw Harry disappear in front of his eyes.
"'Arry? 'Arry, where are ya?" said Hagrid until suddenly Harry returned suddenly in front of him. "Merlin's Beard! How did ya do that?"
"I ate the Blink Blink Fruit" said Harry "Where I grew up in, there are these rare magical fruits that grants you magical powers but it costs you the ability to swim."
"Must be risky if ya on a ship all the time if you ate that." Said Hagrid "Why the devil would you gone and do that?"
"I didn't mean it" said Harry "I was only a toddler when I ate it, I didn't know it was a devil fruit back then."
"So ya can apparate...sorry, I mean teleport anywhere" said Hagrid
"Anywhere that I know, or on map" said Harry "If you give me a map, I can think of that position and I am there in a blink, hence the Blink Blink Fruit"
"Amazin'" said Hagrid "Mind you, ya dear ol' mum and dad would be worried they see you vanishing all the time"
"You knew my parents, my real parents" said Harry
"Aye, I knew them back when they were students here at 'Ogwarts" said Hagrid with a sad look on his face. "Dear Lily was a talented witch with a brilliant mind, I bet many professors can tell you about her in 'igh regards. As for James, boy he was quite the trouble maker back in the day, but he was quite the wiz on the broom when he played as the Seeker on the Griffindor Quidditch team."
"Quidditch is a sport, right?" said Harry as he remembered McGonagall mentioned quidditch during the tour around Hogwarts and the escort to Dumbledore's office.
"Aye, Quidditch is quite the popular sport for the young witches an' wizards to watch." said Hagrid "But I'm sure it will be explained if ya interested to play, on your second year of course."
"Of course" said Harry as he takes a sip of his tea. "What happened to them, my parents?"
Hagrid sighs even more as he didn't want to be the one to tell this to Harry. But he ahs the right to know what happened.
"They were killed, 'Arry" said Hagrid "You probably know that not all witches an' wizards are good if you have to go against bad pirates and possibly bad navy men. So, I won't bother mellowing this to ya and be 'onest to say that the wizard that murdered poor Lily and James had no intention for both of them, but at you."
"Me?" said Harry
"Aye, did you ever wonder how ya got that cut on that forehead, 'Arry?" said Hagrid "The only way you got that scar is if ya got touched by a curse, and a real bad curse I tell you. No one has ever lived to tell the tale after being struck by an Unforgivable Curse as it either robs ya of your mind, will or life. Then again, you lived miraculously, but ya disappeared and presumed dead."
"What happened to that wizard?" said Harry
"Rumours say 'e died when the curse rebounded from ya" said Hagrid, "leavin' only smouldering black robes behind. Codswallop, I'd say. No, I think 'e's out there, took weak to carry on. Even Dumbledore reckoned e's still alive."
"What was his name?" said Harry
Now that is the question Hagrid does not want to answer, but since Harry has been offworld for 10 years. He is entitled to know the name of his parent's murderer.
"A'ight, but this is the only time I'd say it, no more" said Hagrid as he leans forward so that Harry can listen. "His name is..."
Dumbledore's Office
"Voldemort? What kind of name is that?" said Nami with a raised brow, Dumbledore has told her and Luffy everything about Harry's parents and what happened to them.
"It is a name which brought the entire wizarding world trembling in fear. But I understand your disbelief as I agree with you, it is a rather silly name at first considering..."
"Considering what?" said Nami
"Nothing, but despite the name, it is the deeds behind the name which gives it such infamy. Take your husband's monkier for example, I mean who would take him serious under the name "Straw Hat"?"
Luffy took offense to this and starts shaking in his own bonds in anger at this, but stopped when Nami gave him a look which immediately shut him up before returning her attention to Dumbledore.
"You do make a fair point" said Nami with a sigh. "My husband is well known for his mishaps, despite the silly name"
Luffy growled Nami now, feeling betrayed for insulting his pirate moniker like that.
"But to go after a baby, because he is afraid that he is "destined" to kill him?" said Nami while she air quotes over the word Destined while she speaks. "Sorry, but I can't take that man serious."
"Fair enough, but you may find those who think differently about this, so I'd be careful how you speak when the subject is mentioned."
"Fine, I'll heed the warning for now" said Nami "Now I have one more question to ask, and I want your upmost honesty from this. Why do want Harry for?"
"S-Sorry, I don't understa..."
WHAM!
Nami suddenly pulls out her staff which she hidden discreetly up her leg and slams it hard on the desk, scaring Dumbledore that he instantly pulled out his wand and points it at her. This caused Nami to smirk while Dumbledore remains uneasy while his wand remains out.
"Huh, so you're not some weary old quill-pusher if you're that quick with that magic wand, Professor" said Nami as she lifts her staff away and discards it. "I've been a pirate for all my life and I have trust issues when it concerns my friends and family. And people have a habit of keeping secrets, which makes them even less trustworthy. My husband is an honest idiot who couldn't lie to save his own life, so I can trust him."
Luffy has mixed feelings from what Nami said about him, pleased that hear that she trusts him, but also annoyed by the insults, even though they are made to state her trust and support for him.
"Now, I just met you and I am not quick to trust you, especially when you have some ulterior motive with Harry, and I don't like the sound of that." Said Nami with a dangerous look that a mother has if her child is exposed by any form of danger. "So, are you gonna tell me, or do I have to do this the hard way."
Despite the nervousness, Dumbledore quickly calms himself and smiles at the Pirate Queen.
"Looks like there is no fooling you, I just hope it wouldn't come to this, for it is also for the sake of Harry's safety as well."
"From Voldemort?" said Nami
"Not just Voldemort, but from his followers, the Death Eaters" said Dumbledore "They are a fanatical group of pure-blood extremists who follow their Dark Lord for they believe that he will bring supremacy to the wizard community for all pure-bloods by purging it of muggle-borns, blood traitors and half-bloods. With the prophecy involving Harry being the one to take down their Dark Lord, he and his followers become dangerously paranoid and will do anything to make sure the prophecy is undone."
"And you believe all this nonsense" said Nami "Prophecies? Come on"
"I know, prophecies aren't something to be taken serious, which is why the ministry has them locked away so that no one would fall victim by any misunderstandings. But Voldermort, so proud and so arrogant, the only thing he feared most is losing his power and he allowed that fear cloud his judgement and went after who would pose as a threat, but that's not all. I think something else happened on that night, which is why I wanted Harry to come to Hogwarts under my watchful eye."
"And why, prey tell" said Nami
"I believed that, while trying to kill Harry, Voldemort unintentionally placed a fragment of his own soul within Harry, turning him into a Horcrux."
"Horcrux?" said Nami
"It is an item created by using the most dark and forbidden arts of magic, Soul Magic" said Dumbledore "It is believed that by extracting your own soul fragments into items and hide them would result the caster immortality...or cheating death."
"Just like Big Mom" Nami muttered
"Pardon?" said Dumbledore
"We dealt with a pirate who did something similar, Linlin "Big Mom" Charlotte, she ate a devil fruit known as the Soul Soul Fruit, which grants her the ability to extract souls and integrate them into something else, even her own fragments. But enough of that, you said that Harry could be one of those Horcruxes"
"I am positive, when Harry came here which I assume was from one of those fruits he ate, I did sense a foul malevolence lurking within Harry, an evil which I know, located in that scar on his forehead" said Dumbledore.
"Wait" said Luffy as he managed to spit out his own hat and free himself from his own limbs so that he can sit next to Nami. "Would that evil come in the form of ominous smoke and take form of a twisted face riving in agony while it fades away?"
"...Yes, that is exactly that was detailed when a horcrux was destroyed" said Dumbledore in sudden surprise. "How do you know?"
"Luffy?"
"You remember that day, in Raftel?" Said Luffy to Nami "When we defeated Blackbeard and his crew?"
"Aye, it nearly killed us. Blackbeard is immensely stronger than any of the Yonkou we faced. But what that got to with..."
"Harry was there when I and Teach fought" said Luffy "He was hiding among the treasure trove where the One Piece is at, and he saw us fight and...I was on the verge of losing."
"Why wasn't I informed of this?" said Nami slowly becoming angry at her husband when he is telling her about incident and how Harry got involved. "What happened to Harry?"
"Harry got scared, seeing me about to be swallowed up into the darkness and die, he cried for me, calling my name and then...he used it" said Luffy
"Used what...no, you don't mean Haki?" said Nami with wide eyes in dear shock.
"Haki?" said Dumbledore
"It is a technique only exceptional few can use and learn" Luffy explained "it offers us some foresight to read our enemies movements, next hardens our skin or weapons into that of the hardest metal known as adamantine, but the most powerful and possibly the most difficult to learn is known as the Supreme King's Haki, which where you use your own immense willpower to subdue those who are of weak mind and will."
Luffy unleashed some of his own Haki at Dumbledore, causing the wizard to become more uneasy even before, as if he is being face with the mightiest of all dragons, or even Merlin himself.
"What you felt, is put a sample of that Haki, it I'd unleash all of it, the entire Castle would feel it and all those with a weak mind and willpower would collapse in an instant." Said Luffy to Dumbledore
Merlin's Beard, that was immense, and this only a sample thought Dumbledore as he tries to collect his thoughts and stay calm. "And you say Harry used this, but how does that...explain everything."
"When Harry used Haki at Blackbeard, it also forced something out from inside his scar." Said Luffy as remembered that moment during his fight against Blackbeard. "At first, I fought it was the work of Blackbeard until I saw his shocked expression when we gaze at that ghastly smoke escaping in pain and death before it fades away like smoke usually does. I took advantage of this and mortally wounded Blackbeard so that I could rush to Harry and check up on him."
"Something...worse happened, right?" said Nami with dread in her voice.
"Aye, the scar started to bleed and I had to rush him back into the Sunny with Chopper in hopes to save him." Said Luffy to Nami "You collapsed during your victory against Catarina Devon after you threw a barrage of lightning at her. So, you were bedridden and in comatose at the infirmary when that happened, you didn't wake for 5 days."
"What happened to Harry?"
"A brain haemorrhage, Chopper said" said Luffy, causing Nami to gasp in shock. "Whatever caused Harry to do that gave him a brain haemorrhage so severe that if not treated, he would either die or suffer from permanent brain damage."
"Then how..."
"Law. Luckily Law came along with Shanks and Kidd with the hope of aiding us against Blackbeard" said Luffy "He performed surgery on Harry's head to stop the bleeding, which he did successfully but I was not convinced. I asked Katakuri if I could borrow Pudding so that I can use her Memo Memo Fruit powers to check Harry's mind and memories, which I conveniently learned about his date of birth by the way, and everything was in check. His earlier childhood memories were foggy but Pudding assured me that is normal for new-borns."
"And you think it was not important to tell me this?" said Nami who is absolutely abhorred at Luffy for keeping his from her. "Harry is MY son too, did you even think I have that right to know, Luffy."
"You were in no condition to tell you, Chopper said the stress will make recovery complicated and I was scared of losing both of you" said Luffy as he hung his head down. "After losing Ace...I... couldn't let that happen, I can't. I love you, Nami, just as I love Harry, I was so scared that if I lose you both just because of I wanted to become the King of the Pirates...then my dream is for nothing."
Nami slightly lessens her frown at Luffy and turns away, they remain quiet for a moment while Dumbledore takes this time to let him go through that information as he was surprised at what happened. Harry destroyed a portion of Voldemort's soul within him without knowing and it nearly killed him. The news shocked and amazed the headmaster, he is even more relieved to know that Harry is still fine, which is evident when he is with his adoptive parents.
"This is news for me, and quite the blessing for Harry also" said Dumbledore, hoping that some reassurance would help with strain of Luffy and Nami's relationship.
"What do you mean?" said Nami who is not amused by the wizard.
"What I mean that Harry doesn't have to die for the horcrux to be destroyed" said Dumbledore, unfortunately he flinched with Nami swiftly slams her staff at the desk again.
WHAM!
"Do you find this funny, do you?" said Nami darkly at Dumbledore. "I just learned that Harry nearly died back in Raftel and all you have to say is that Harry doesn't have to die. HE IS NOT GOING TO DIE, YOU GOT THAT!"
"Y-Yes ma'am, I meant no ill to any of you" said Dumbledore while Nami removes her staff. "But seriously, although weak Voldemort is still a threat to Harry as he is to him. Sooner or later, they will fight and all I wanted is to give Harry the chance, and by doing that is for me to keep an eye on him at Hogwarts."
"You're planning him to go to war, for a community that he never knew about" said Nami who is now disgusted of the professor.
"The way I see it, Harry has already started the moment he became a pirate" said Dumbledore "I am merely providing him with the right methods for what's the come. I know you don't like it, and what mother would? But I know that Voldemort will one day rise up to power once more, and Harry will be the first person he'll be after. I don't know when, but once Harry attends to Hogwarts, I can help him."
"What is stopping me of preventing that?" Said Nami
"It is as you said, it is Harry's choice and you wouldn't dare deny him of that choice," said Dumbledore. "And I promise you, he will be safe here in Hogwarts."
Nami frowns slightly at this as she is not happy, not even Luffy but he knows better to keep his mouth shut, but he cannot be silent for long as he place his hand on her shoulder, getting her attention.
"Nami, Harry will be fine. Have faith in him" said Luffy "We dealt worse than some crazy dark wizard and his fanatical cult. We dealt with powerful pirates, deadly assassins, xenophobic fishmen, vicious beasts on our voyage. And each of us have gotten stronger because of it. Very soon, Harry will grow up follow his own dreams, and face more potential dangers of his own. Attending to this School, be safe or not, wouldn't make a difference."
Nami wanted to talk back at her husband and punch him again, but he does have a point and she sighs in defeat.
"I hated it when you're right, Luffy" said Nami before turning to Dumbledore "Alright, I'll let Harry decide. However, there are some conditions should he accept."
"Alright, what are the terms?" said Dumbledore
"We want living rights within your community, so that Harry can learn about his heritage more without being shut out like some pariah." Said Nami "That way, I can be at arm's length with Harry while he is at Hogwarts."
"...I'll go talk to Madame Bones in the Ministry for that, she can arrange a meeting at the Wizengamot, a council of wizards and witches of ministry" said Dumbledore "Mind you, you have to convince the court to allow you those rights, and some of them aren't acceptable to muggles."
"Oh, don't worry, I can VERY persuasive" said Nami which caused Luffy to sweat nervously when she pulled a smirk. "Next we need a large body of water to dock our ship on, we can't leave her too long alone at the Grand Line while Harry is here."
"Hogwarts has a large lake with a boathouse, you are welcome to dock your ship there." Said Dumbledore
"And finally, we need somewhere to store our treasure in and to exchange for currency" said Nami "I have a feeling you don't take Beris and I need to do some shopping for Harry's stuff, among other things."
"Harry's parent's has left him everything in their family vault at Gringott's bank, which reminds me." Said Dumbledore as he goes through his desk shelves and gives Nami a key. "Here is Harry's bank key, show this to one of the bankers while you ask to make a withdrawal."
Nami nods at this as she took the key, after hearing Dumbledore's intentions with Harry she reluctantly stills her tongue from asking why he's got Harry's bank key.
"Oh, and where will I go to shop for these items in question" said Nami
"Tell you what, if you meet Hagrid at London tomorrow, he can take you to where you'll most likely do your school shopping" said Dumbledore as he then pulls out a map for Nami to look at. "This map will help you on the way, but if you get there by Harry's devil fruit powers, I suggest you use the alleyways, Muggles aren't...well would you believe in magic at first?"
"I suppose not" said Nami as she gets the gist and takes the map of London.
"If that is all, then all I can say is good luck." Said Dumbledore
"If Harry accepts" said Nami when suddenly the door opens and the sound of laughter was heard when Harry and Hagrid enter the office. Hagrid was holding his sides laughing when Harry was telling him one of his funniest and awesome adventures.
"Oh ho ho oh, you are quite the marvel, 'Arry" said Hagrid while laughing from the tales from Harry. "I do hope to see them Giants of Elbaph and see if what you say are true."
"Oh, they are, believe me, plus you'll blend well when the rest of us humans in our world as there are some taller than you."
"I bet" said Hagrid before turning to Dumbledore and clears his throat. "Er, I brought 'Arry back, Professor Dumbledore, sir"
"I trust you had fun" said Dumbledore with a smile.
"Aye, we exchanged stories and had a laugh" said Hagrid as he gives Harry a pat on the back. "You would not believe the amazing things he had seen, so much that Ol' Newt would consider writing a sequel of his famous book."
"I'm sure he would" said Dumbledore as he would like one day pay a visit with his old (expelled) student. "Anyway Harry, I do hope you'll be interested in spending 7 years here at Hogwarts"
"Are you kidding? I wouldn't miss this for the world" said Harry "This place is awesome, I would love to stay here and learn magic. Can I, mum?"
Nami is hesitant and nervous when Harry asked him, and seeing his face so lightened up would be terrible to lose if she refused. She turned to Dumbledore for a moment before returning to Harry, with his lively expression.
"It is your decision, Harry" said Nami with a semi-forced smile. She wanted Harry to be happy and do what he likes, but the fact that Dumbledore told her concerning Harry with Voldemort still worries her. It's not until Luffy wrapping his arm around her in a hug starts to give her some ease.
"Well, then it's settled" said Luffy "Let's head back to the ship and tell everyone the good news. The Straw Hats has got ourselves a wizard!"
Harry laughs with excitement while Nami still smiles nervously but still being eased by Luffy's loving arms.
"Then I'll be seeing you at first term at the sorting, Harry" said Dumbledore as he leans forward so that he can give Harry his hand to shake.
"Of course, Professor Dumbledore" said Harry as he took Dumbledore's hand and shakes it. "See you later"
Harry turns to his parents and make his way to them.
"Alright, Harry just thinks about the Sunny and take us there" said Nami
"Aye" said Harry as he starts to think about the Thousand Sunny while holding Nami and Luffy's hands. And in an instant, they vanished right before both of Dumbledore and Hagrid's eyes.
"Well, I be damned, that was sumthin' eh Professor?" said Hagrid
"Indeed, he does live up to the name as the Boy Who Vanishes." Said Dumbledore with a smile. "And his new mother of his, quite the temper that would rival a kneazel."
"She does remin' me of dear Lily, 'member how she yelled at James for pickin' on Snape as usual?" Said Hagrid "Merlin 'elps us what 'is reaction be like when 'e sees 'er."
"The coincidence may not be an accident, Hagrid" said Dumbledore "For it was Lily's magic that protected Harry from Voldemort. And I would bet a whole Galleon that her magic sent him to be raised by someone similar to her."
"Better than that 'orrid muggle sister of 'ers" said Hagrid as he is glad that Harry doesn't have to live with the Dursleys. "'o knows what 'is life be like livin' for ten whole years with them."
Dumbledore nods in agreement, though the thought of sending Harry to live with the Dursleys did come to mind, but witnessing the wrath of Nami made him reconsider for she'll go full mother bear on him if he did. No, Harry is fine where he is, in the loving arms of his new parents, and not even Voldemort or his followers could reach them, otherworld or not.
