Chapter 15: Meeting the Weasleys
Leaky Cauldron
The Straw Hat Family has returned to the Leaky Cauldron with Molly and Ginny Weasley, only to be welcomed back by some the crew who are still here (on the account of Sanji and Usopp now working in the tavern to provide for their own families during their stay in the wizarding world). Nami offers Molly a seat for her to sit on, next to her and Luffy while Belle brings Ginny to the other children to introduce to.
When Molly came to the Leaky Cauldron, she was partially nervous of bringing Ginny to such a seedy place, especially when it's got pirates inside. But she immediately changed her thoughts after greeting some of the crew, especially when two of them each have families of their own.
Usopp is a friendly chap as he welcomed Molly with a handshake and Sanji acts quite the gentlemen around her, as he always do around woman. When Luffy introduces Robin to the Weasley mother, the archaeologist smiles and waved from her table while enjoying her coffee and a good book in her hand. Zoro, who at the corner, is still naping merely grunted a hello without even looking back, Molly was appalled by such manners but Nami told her to ignore him as he's always such a grump.
"Is this all crewmembers?" Molly asked when she noticed the how many members she met and greeted are low to be expected, "It's a bit small, even for a sloop or schooner."
"Oh, there are others, but they're at the Sunny since they're... different than the rest" said Nami, she was quite hesitant a out mentioning the others with Molly, fearing what red haired woman would think about a humanoid reindeer, a Cyborg, a walking skeleton, and a fishman as crewmates.
"What do you mean by "different"?" said Molly tilting her head in confusion.
"Well, how do we explain it?" said Nami rubbing the back of her head, still hesitant of even answering the question, as the worry of Molly's reaction would take affect.
But the hesitation already made things clear for Molly, has a good idea what the answer is.
"They're not human?" said Molly simply, showing that she's not judgemental when it comes to appearance or race.
"Yeah, you're not worried?" said Nami, while boing worried herself.
"I'm not one to judge, unlike others who think blood matters," said Molly as she frowned in open space while she she can think of a certain family who is a good example for being one of those who care only about blood purity, "so, who are they?"
"Tony Tony Chopper, our ship's doctor was originally a reindeer until he ate a Devil Fruit called the Human Human Fruit," said Luffy
"Devil Fruit?" said Molly
"Magical Fruits that grants anyone who eats magical powers but with the cost their ability to swim," said Nami "Legends say that sea hated the devils in the fruit, that who ever eats one, will not swim and drown."
"And he ate taht fruit?" said Molly in shock by this.
"Well, considering he was a normal reindeer at the time, he was oblivious when he ate it until the powers starts kicking in." Said Nami with a sympathetic smile. But it did him some good though, it granted him abilities that we humans have, such as speech, intelligence, even walk on two legs."
"Yeah but still," said Molly in shock when the idea of an animal is magically changed into a humanoid creature. "It must've been wierd for the poor thing."
"Oh don't worry, he can still turn back to normal if he wants," Nami reassured Molly, "but he mostly spend his time in his hybrid form."
"Which he's a total cutie, by the way." Said Robin as she smiled and giggled. Although shy around strangers and a bit socially awkward, our dear doctor is quite friendly and eager to be friends if accepted."
"Well let's hope we get to meet in person then," said Molly at Robin
Nami giggles and Luffy grins when they talk about Chopper, this made Molly smile as she is happy to hear they treat this Reindeer humanoid as their own.
"Then there is Franky, he's our cyborg shipwright," said Luffy
"Cy-borg?" Molly said as she isn't familiar of the word. "What's a cyborg?"
"An augmented human, someone with machine parts integrated in their body." Said Nami "Making him part man, part machine."
"But...why?" said Molly when the thought of a human with machinery in their body sounds terrifying than any of the beasts she heard of throughout her life.
"Franky, who was a shipwright apprentice at the time, was badly injured when he tried to stop government officials taking his boss away, just because of he was built the former pirate king his ship, the Oro Jackson." Luffy explains the origins of Franky "But truth be told, the government wanted old Tom to relinquish the blueprints of a ship with, according to the legends, would obliterate the entire world."
"And when Tom refused, they framed him by using Franky's battleship prototypes to attach the island where they lived, Water Seven." Said Nami "if the government couldn't have those plans just by demanding them, they thought it'd be best to simply arrest Tom for his crimes so they can interrogate and torture him so he could reveal them."
"And Tom never said a word, we believe, since the Navy never once built one Pluton, especially when the government later went after Franky while force Robin to surrender or the Navy will destroy us with everything they've got."
"Merlin's beard," said Molly with awe and shock and turns to Robin nodded sadly.
Even though it's been 10 years, Robin still remembered that horrible incident like it was yesterday, remembering how it broke her heart to betray the crew who took her in and accepted despite her terrible reputation, while the rest of the crew she was in knew of her reputation and only wanted to use her for their ends.
And when she saw them at Enies Lobby, fighting off the marines and guards stationed in that judicial island, and showed that they are not afraid of the government and deny their authority, it broke her stone mask which she was forced to wear for 20 years on the run and revealed her true frightened self for the time while she yelled with honesty to her friends that she wants to live and begs her to save her.
Robin still had regrets for her bretrayal, but happy the crew who she now view as family came to her when all hope is lost.
"Franky felt like he failed his master and vowed to never build another ship again," said Luffy "But somehow, the desire to build still burns within him as he dreamed to build the ship of his dreams, a ship which could sail across the world and be forever remembered thoughout history."
"And the Sunny is still in the progress of becoming that ship, and Franky would never leave her side until her role is up."
"Wow, he sounds like a good man," said Molly
"He is, but let me give you some warning though." Said Nami "He's...tends to wear less clothing, mainly a shirt opened up and a pair of trunks."
"O-ok," said Molly nodding at the Navigator "So who's the next crewmate?"
"Brook, our musician who is our oldest crewmember, and is also a skeleton," Luffy explained. "60 years ago, he ate a devil fruit called the Revive Revive Fruit, which helps him revive from death, but his soul was out of his body too long that the flesh rotted away until there is nothing but bones."
A cold chill just ran down Molly's spine when she listened to Luffy talks about Brook, and the concept of an undead skeleton pirate among the crew terrifies her.
"Just where did you get these people?" said Molly
"You'd be surprise what occurs in our world," said Robin as she comes to join Luffy and Nami, she displays her devil fruit powers to Molly by replicating her arms. Molly was taken back by this and then looks at Luffy and Nami. "Especially when there are these mystical fruits that grant you powers beyond your imagination."
"Did all of you eat a devil fruit?" said Molly, feeling scared when she asked.
No, not all," said Nami reassuring Molly, "but I would hardly call ourselves normal, either."
Take our navigator for one, instead of eating a fruit she can easily predict and control the weather," said Robin causing Nami to blush when Robin praises her.
"Our swordsman is exceptionally proficient in the arts of three swords style"
Zoro snorted and stirs in his sleep.
our gunner is quite the crack shot with the cannons and slingshot"
Usopp smiles with pride when hearing Robin's words.
"Our cook has a powerful kick,"
"Oh, you're so kind, Robin-swan 3" said Sanji after hearing Robin's words.
"Franky's cybernetics speaks for itself and Jimbei is a black belt in Fishman Katate" said Robin
"I see, and is there more?."
"a few more, our helmsman Jimbei is a whale shark fishman."
"Our dear wives," Usopp and Sanji spoke in such dedicated love, causing Kaya and Pudding to blush by it.
"And my second wife, Boa Hancock," said Luffy
"Did you call me, my darling," Hancock suddenly appears though the green flames of the fireplace as she took the floo network, and conveniently when she heard Luffy say her name. Molly was taken back at how beautiful his tall goddess. Hancock leans down to kiss her husband while placing her hand on his cheek to caress it.
"So, did you find work?" said Luffy
"There were...offers, but I turned them down when the conditions were dates of marriage offers," said Hancock in disgust. "Men, how I despise them."
"But...are you married to one?" said Molly nervously at Hancock
Hancock turns to Molly, stares are her which made the plump red head nervous, but it ended when Hancock offer her a hand of friendship.
"Boa Hancock," said Hancock with a smile.
"M-Molly Weasley," Molly said with nervousness when she accepted Hancock's hand and shakes it. She hasn't been this scared since her early years at Hogwarts, when she was but a pump nerdy girl who was teased by popular slytherin girls, like Greengrass...or the Blacks. Beautiful Hancock appears to be, it doesn't help the fact that Molly is afraid of her.
Fortunately Hancock is aware of the plump woman's fright and smiles softly while she remove her hand from Molly's.
"I get that reaction from so many people, so don't you worry if you feel intimidated," said Hancock
Molly nods at Hancock, glad to hear that the pirate empress isn't offended which relieved the mother.
"Anyway, to answer your question," said Hancock, "Yes, I'm aware my dear Luffy is a man, but he's the only man I'll ever need.
She turns to Luffy and smiles lovingly while love hearts dance over hear head, and a blushing all over her cheeks. This surprised Molly while Nami scoffed, cross her arms and look away with jealousy, this also got Molly's attention until Luffy chuckled in a partial nervousness.
"Y-yeah, it tends to be like that between them," said Luffy as he is obligated to apologise to Molly. "But after 10 years, we...managed to make it work."
"Some men would do anything to be in your position right about now," said Molly with an amusing a smile." Bigamy, maybe polygamy isn't unheard of or illegal to us, but there hasn't been any harems ever recorded and yet here you are."
Luffy couldn't help but laugh as he found this amusing.
"Yeah, I am a wonder,"
Yep, a wonder alright," said Nami in a grumble
"Completely wonderful!" said Hancock as she pull Luffy in a loving embrace and starts kissing him.
"Ugh, I had of enough of this!" said Nami as she jumps off her seat and heads for the fireplace. Tosses a handful of Floo Powder into the fire until it turns green and steps into it. "Clearly I have my share of Luffy and I'm cramping your style. MINISTRY OF MAGIC!"
With that, Nami vanished in a swirl of green flames as she travels via floo network. Molly was taken back by this and turns to Hancock and Luffy.
"Is she, going to be alright?" said Molly
"Oh she'll be fine," said Hancock, although she says it in a uncaring tone. "It's either me or her storming off when either of us are showing our affections with Luffy. 10 years and we're still not use to sharing our man."
Luffy shrug his shoulders at Molly to confirm it all.
"I'm sorry for all of that," said Luffy while resting his head on Hancock's chest and is now sitting on her lap. "Jealousy is to be expected, you should've seen Sanji's reaction when out marriage was announced, he used by head as a tetherball for the entire afternoon.
"AND I'M STILL PISSED OF YOU FOR STEALING NAMI-SWAN! YOU BASTARD!" Sanji yelled from inside the kitchens.
"Why are you still angry? You have a beautiful wife too?" said Luffy yelling back to Sanji
"BUT YOU HAVE TWO WIVES! TWO! YOU GREEDY ARSE!"
"As if I would ever let another man go near me," said Hancock in a humph while deepening her embrace around Luffy.
"As you can see, this is normal for us," said Robin to Molly "What's strange to us is staying here for the moment while Harry spends his years at Hogwarts."
"Can't take the sea out of pirates, huh?" said Molly
"Indeed, but we'll cope," said Robin
With Ginny
While Molly continues on with the conversation with Hancock, Luffy and Robin, Ginny is currently with the Straw Hat children. She is of course nervous when Belle brought her to the other kids, but after a brief introduction to them, they all seem to be nice as they greet and welcome to the young red-head. Curious about Harry's life during the 10 years of his disappearance, she would ask about Harry who are more than happy to answer.
"Harry can be a handful, but he is fun to be around," said Tom smiling behind his dark shades. "a good friend, he is,"
"Aye, not got boring with Harry around," said Yassop as he drinks a glass of pumpkin juice, which he finds rather pleasant as he takes a sip from the orange drink.
"But he does cause a handful of mischief, enough for the government to put a bounty on his head." Said Banchina with a disapproved frown."
"Well, what do you expect, being raised in the greatest, pirate crew ever," said Belle
"Hear, hear," said Tom and Yassop agreeing with Belle.
"Belle," Banchina frowning at her friend and then turns to Ginny in apology. "I am sorry about this,"
Ginny only giggled from this as she is enjoying the company.
"I don't mind" said Ginny with a smile "I'm just happy that Harry is fine,"
"It got me wondering though, that are so interested in my brother?" said Belle, raising her eye brow in suspicion.
Ginny blushed by this and averted her eyes nervously when Belle leers at her suspiciously, only to hear the girl laugh along with the two boys.
"Relax, I was only teasing," said Belle patting Ginny's shoulder "But I am curious though, considering that Harry was not been around for 10 years."
"It doesn't stop the fact that I read about him, how he defeated You-know-who as a baby," said Ginny as she blushed more that the freckles on her face are no longer visible, "he sounded cool but sad to read that he...disappeared afterwards. But when I saw him at the train station, alive and real, I couldn't help but be happy and wanted to know him."
"Oda, help us, you got it bad," said Belle with a cat-like smirk forming on her lips, leering with interest and amusement which Ginny couldn't help but rear back nervously. "You like him, don't you?"
"I-I, it's too soon to say that," Ginny said in minor denial while she wave her hands franticly in self-defence. "I need to get to know him first before I could simply say I like him."
"Suuure," said Belle with her cat smile still on her face, only to stop when she earned a whack on the head and forced her to retort in pain. "Ow, what the..."
"Leave the poor girl alone, Belle," Sora came around after finishing off her breakfast with her mother and joins in with the conversation. She say Belle teasing Ginny for having possible feelings for Harry, despite Ginny said otherwise. "if Ginny likes Harry and wants to take things slow, then it's her choice."
"You're no fun, Sora," said Belle, pouting and rubbing her head where Sora struck her.
"I can be fun if I want to, but when it comes to teasing our new friend here," said Sora before she she turns to Ginny and offers her a hand. "Hello, I am Sora, Sora Vinsmoke."
"Ginny, Ginny Weasley" said Ginny as she take Sora's hand and shakes it.
"So, heard you met Harry at the train station?" said Sora as she sat down at the chair by the girl.
Ginny nods and couldn't help but blush.
"He's...quite handsome than I imagine." Said Ginny
"Oh? And what do you expect him to be like?" said Sora
"I don't know, maybe nervous, but cute, considering that he lost his parents so he'll be won't be so pompous and arrogant."
"Nah, Harry is not like one of those stupid nobles," said Yassop with his arms crossed and shaking his head, "He HATES the aristocracy, he finds them stuffy and boring to be around, especially when they only talk about themselves, like that blonde haired boy he met when he was out shopping."
"What was his name?" said Tom
"He never got it, and I don't think he wants to" said Yassop
"I think I know who that boy is, not by name but I know which family he's from," said Ginny "No doubt it's a Malfoy, by dad had the displeasure working with one in the ministry. And, keep this between us, I sometimes wear my mum bad mouth the Malfoy woman occasionally."
"ooh, gossip, I LOVE gossip" said Sora as she starts rubbing her hands in delight and nudge closer to Ginny.
Of course you do," said Belle rolling her eyes as she reach for her glass of pumpkin. "When ever you hear gossip, you would go around and listen and see if it's true or not."
Belle was about to take a sip from her pumpkin juice, only for it to disappear from her hand for a second, and appear seconds later, half drunk. Belle was taken back by this, but she knew what exactly happened...and knew very well who did it.
"HARRY!"
Hogwart's Express
The Hogwart's Express drives on towards north after leaving the train station, it follows the railway where it can lead its passengers to their destination which is Hogwarts. The train passes though London and makes its way through the countryside where everyone can see though the windows, Harry is one of the passengers who is looking out the window to see the countryside so vast that he compare as the green sea, and the animals such as sheep, cows and deer grazing on the plains and hills are an amazing sight considering he hardly stays inland and spends most of his life at sea.
To him this is new, and completely exciting.
Suddenly the compartment door opens and Harry turns to see who is coming in, it is that young red haired boy, Ron if Harry remembers it.
"Sorry, do you mind? Everyone's full," Ron said hesitantly to Harry.
"No, of course not," said Harry as he gestures him to come in.
"Thank you," said Ron as he steps in and sits opposite of Harry, they remain quiet for the moment for the boy is nervous to start a conversation. "I'm Ron, Ron Weasley"
"Harry, Harry Potter" Harry introducing himself to the red haired boy, only to get a shock an bewildered expression when Harry spoke his name. Harry couldn't help but smile as the reason is somewhat predictable as he got use to it right about now. "So they weren't pulling my leg, you are here and going to Hogwarts."
"As in they, you mean your brothers?" said Harry
"Yeah, I thought it was just another one of his pranks," said Ron crossing his arms and frowned in embarrassment for not believing them. "I can't believe this, you're actually here."
"Apparently so," said Harry, shugging his shoulders.
"And do you have the...the..."
"The?"
"...the scar?"
Harry chuckled as he lift his hat up so he can show Ron his lightning shaped scar on his forehead, Ron is at awe by this.
"Cool, huh?" said Harry before lowering his hat down.
"Yeah, but where did you go after all those years?" said Ron
"It's hard to explain, and I'm not sure how, but I somehow ended up in a different world and wound up on the deck of a pirate ship." Said Harry
"a pirate ship?" said Ron "As in, sailing the seas, looking for treasure?"
"That's right" said Harry
"Then...you must have been on so much adventures."
"Oh you have no idea," said Harry with a wide grin, suddenly the doors open and the weasley twins starts popping in. "Oh, hey guys."
Ron groans at the arrival of his brothers and looks at them with annoyance.
"what do you want?" said Ron
"I was simply checking on you, Ickle Ronnie," said Fred in a teasing tone.
"But when Harry starts to mention adventures, we want to hear them too." Said George with an equal grin matching his brother's. "I hope you're not holding you on us, Harry."
Ron palms his face and groaned, Harry however chuckles at the twins and gestures them to enter.
"Not a all," said Harry come sit, and I'll tell you some of the adventures I went on."
Later
"An giant elephant?" said Ron in shock
"that's right, an elephant that's the size of an island, with legs to long that it can liteally walk on the sea itself." Said Harry while he eats his lunch. "It is known as Zuneisha, and it believes to be over 1000 years old."
"Whoa," said Fred and George.
"Is it still alive?" said Ron
"Think so, it's been 7 years since I last saw him." Said Harry rubbing the back of his head. "But if I get snail calls from Carrot, then it must be alive."
"Who's Carrot?" said Ron
"She's a Rabbit Mink, a humanoid rabbit who lives in Zou, the island on top of Zuneisha." Said Harry
"Is she like that reindeer doctor you mentioned?" said Fred
"Chopper? No," said Harry "Chopper started out as a normal reindeer until he ate a devil fruit that made him human-like."
"Oh," said Fred, George and Ron.
Suddenly the door open and an old witch in a red cardigan is seen pushing a trolley containing sweets and bottled drinks.
"Anything off the trolley, dears?"
"Sorry, I'm packed," said Ron as he pulled out a squashed up sandwiches reapped up in cling film.
Fred and George look at each other and approach the trolley lady and gives out their order.
"Well have 2 pumpkin juices, a pack of drooble's and a few liquorice wands, please" said Fred.
"I'll have of something too," said Harry as he pulls out a pouch which he summoned by his Blink Blink Fruit powers, which Ron noticed and taken by surprise.
"Wait, where did that come from?" said Ron when he pointed at the coin pouch.
You remember that I told you about devil fruit powers?" said Harry, earning a nod from Ron, "well I ate one, the Blink Blink Fruit."
"Blink Blink Fruit?" said Fred as he and George sat down with his confectionery goods.
"Aye, I grants me the ability to teleport me to anywhere I want to go," said Harry as he buys his treats from the trolley witch, "provide that I know where I'm going, of course. Thank you"
"So, let's say that you want to go on holiday, like...Egypt."
Well, I need to know where this Egypt is, otherwise I can't go there." Said Harry as he sits down. "It not just limited to teleportation, I can bring items to me, providing where that item is...for example."
Harry snaps his fingers and in his hand is a fresh glass of pumpkin juice.
"Where did you get that from?" said Ron
From my sister, Belle as he drinks the glass halfway and then make vanish. She always have pumpkin juice as she had a taste for it." Said Harry with a cheeky grin.
Meanwhile back at the Leaky Cauldron, Belle is scream out loud when her glass vanished from her hand before she could even take a sip, and then it came back in her hand half drunk.
"HARRY!"
Fred and George bursts out laughing when Harry did that, as natural prankster they can tell the have met a kindred spirit in Harry. Even Ron found this amusing.
"So did you use it when you go pirating?"
"All the time," said Harry as he takes a bite of a pumpkin pasty. "But I'll be on my best behaviour and not use it to cause trouble."
"Aww," Fred and George exclaimed in a disappointed tone.
"Unless, of course I need to," said Harry, which cheered the twins up.
"Now that, I'll be happy to hear," said Fred "No doubt this year at Hogwarts will be a fun one with Harry around."
"Indeed," said George as they open their bottles of pumpkin juice, taps them together and drank from them.
"Merlin, help me," Ron groaned while palming his face, knowing how chaotic the twins can be.
Suddenly the door opens again and a second year in a black school robe with a red and gold lion emblem shows up. He turns to Fred and George and sighs in relief.
"There you are, I've been looking for you?"
"What's up?" said the twins simutantiously.
"Lee's got something cool he wants to show us, I think it's a tarantula,"
"A WHAT?" Ron screamed in terror as he backs away into the corner.
"COOL!" exclaimed Fred and George as they bolt it and follows their fellow second year.
"Gotta go, Harry, see you later." Said Fred
"If You end up at our house!" said George before the twins are gone.
"Bye," said Harry before turning to Ron, who is still huddling in the corner. "Not a fan of spiders?"
"I HATE spiders," said Ron "Too many legs,"
"What about snakes?" said Harry
"Don't like them either, why?" said Ron
"Then I won't introducing you to Medusa then," said Harry, as he doesn't want to scare off Ron as he starting to like him and perhaps be friends with him. He then noticed something furry and grey resting on Ron's lap, it is a rat taking a nap. "Nah, it's best not bring her, she might go after your rat."
"This old thing?" said Ron as he picks up the rat to show Harry "This is Scabbers, he use to be Percy's until he gave him to be after gotten himself an owl. He's completely useless, he doesn't nothing but sleep and eat all day. He's been with us for 10 years now"
"10 years? Damn, he must be very old," said Harry as he pops what he believes to be a jelly bean in his mouth, only to retort in surprise by the taste. "What the hell?"
"What?" said Ron in shock which also surprised Scabbers that he leaped out of Ron's hand and scurried under the seats to hide.
"Why did that bean taste like...roast beef?" said Harry with confusion when he looks at the open pack of jelly beans in his mouth.
"First time having Bertie Bott's Every flavour beans?" said Ron with a smile. "Yeah, it's strange at first, especially when it contains EVERY flavour imaginable."
"Every flavour?" said Harry with a raised brow
"Yeah, there's...chocolate, peppermint, spinach, liver, tripe," said Ron "George had a bogey flavoured one once."
"Then I'll avoid the green ones then," said Harry when a laugh while put the open packet of Bertie Bott's beans on the table, but first he poured some into his hand so he can try some out. The flavour he discovered were also surprising, he had curry, sardines, grape, granny smith apples, balsamic rice, bacon, and he tried a funny grey one which turns out to be pepper.
"Want some?" said Harry as he held out his hand, showin that he has some left to offer.
"S-Sure," said Ron reluctantly as he takes a bright green one, he nippled on it until starts spiting slightly. "Urh, sprouts."
Harry couldn't help but laugh as he ate a few more, which are milk, banana, and to surprise and delight, smoked pork. He then reaches out for one of the purple pentagonal boxes next, which reads Chocolate Frogs on he top. "There not real frogs, right?"
"Just a spell, but they contain wizard cards which are collectable and fun to trade with," said Ron "I have a collection of my own, and I'm still looking for an Agrippa card."
Harry nods and starts to open the box, only for the brown frog to hop out and starts to head for the opening on the window. Luckily Harry caught it and took a bite at it, with the frog now lifeless in his hand. Regardless, the taste and flavour of the chocolate frog is delightful and pops the rest of the frog in his mouth and chews it. He then pulls out the card inside, pentagonal like the box, with golden borders on the edge and a 3-D image of a familiar wizard that Harry knew immediately.
"Hey, I've got a Dumbledore Card" said Harry with a smile.
"I got about 6 of him," said Ron "There's info about him at the back, go ahead and read it."
"Ok" said Harry as he turns the card and start reading it
Albus Dumbledore, currently Headmaster of Hogwarts. Considered by many the greatest wizard of modern times, Professor Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark Wizard Gindelwald in 1945, for the discovery of the twelve use of dragon's blood and his work on alchemy with his partner Nicolas Flamel. Professor Dumbledore enjoys chamber music and 10 pin bowling.
Harry turns the card back, and to his astonishment, the portrait of Dumbledore is gone.
"W-what the...where did he go?" said Harry
"Oh he'll be back later," said Ron as he takes a box of chocolate frog to open himself "You can't expect them to stay all day, now do you?"
"I suppose not," said Harry
"Damn it, it's Morgana," said Ron with disappointment, "I've got about 6 of her, you want her?"
"Sure," said Harry taking the card from Ron and takes a look at the portrait of a beautiful but evil witch in sinister dark dress, and a black snake coiled over her shoulders. He reads the back of the card, which depicts her as a dark sorceress during the reign of King Arthur, who is his half-brother she seduced and sired a son of her own named Mordred. Then it mentions that she has a legendary rivalry with Merlin, who is considered a legend himself that he became a figure head to the British Wizarding community. "Whoa, I'd like to know more about that,"
"Well Hogwarts might have books containing the tale, it's also know to the Muggles, surprisingly," said Ron as he opens another chocolate frog.
Harry and Ron are enjoying themselves when they open the chocolate frogs, especially when Harry calls for the trolley witch for more. The room would end up crowded with hopping brown frogs, bounding all over the place which Harry find amusing, but his focus is the cards as he starts learning more with every one.
Harry managed to get Merlin, Circe, Alberic Grunnion, Hengist of Woodcroft, Paracelsus, Baba Yaga, but the one he got that caught this attention more it that of Fleamont Potter. The image of Fleamont is that of an old man with greys mixing in a nest of jet black hair and a goatee, he has green eyes just like Harry and has a face which something has a familiarity to it, but Harry doesn't seem to recall when or where has seen that face before.
"Awesome, you've for Fleamont Potter," aid Ron as sits next to Harry so he can have a good look at the card. "He's a rare find, only a few were ever made, well go on, lets see what it says."
"huh? Oh, right," said Harry as he turns the card and starts reading it.
Fleamont Potter (1927-1979), another of the greatest of wizards of the modern age next to Albus Dumbledore. Son of Henry Potter, Wizengamot member between 1913-1921, Fleamont made his fame for his 56 consecutive wins at the European Wizards Duel Tournament from 1945-1972, as well as for his invention Sleekeazy's Hair Potion which sold approximately 12 million vials, earning him around 20 million galleons in the first three years. Fleamont sold his company to the witch beauty and style company "Hex Pride" when he is decided to retire from his life as a successful man, making him the Richest Wizard ever. Fleamont Potter has passed away in 1979 during an outbreak of DragonPox.
"Say Ron," said Harry "You don't think...that's my Grandfather, do you?"
"Really? Let's see," said Ron as he turns the card to see Fleamont's portrait. "I do see the resemblance, and Potter isn't a common name. So, it's possible, giving that so many witches and wizards elope with pure-bloods families. My Gran was from the House of Black...before they kicked her out when she married Grandad."
"Maybe I can ask Dumbledore if he knows him," said Harry, which Ron starts chuckle at Harry as if he made a funny joke.
"Harry, everyone knows who Fleamont Potter is, he's well known for his many victories in the Wizard Duelling Tornaments and his creation of Sleekeazy's Hair Potion," said Ron "Hell, even my granddad Septimus knows Fleamont back when they were students at Hogwarts,"
It's Harry's turn to laugh as he realised something funny.
"And here we are, two of their grandsons together, becoming best friends," said Harry with a smile.
Ron starts to laugh at the irony, no doubt this is what it's like for his grandfather if this is how he met Fleamont.
Hogwarts Express: 1938
Fleamont Potter and Septimus Weasley are enjoying each other's company that parallels with their grandson 50 odd years later. It might've been a coincidence, or perhaps fate that the friendship between a Potter and a Weasley would happen again.
"So, what house do you reckon you'd be in, Fleamont?" said Septimus
"Not sure, we'll see what the hat sends us," said Fleamont resting head on his arm while leaning on the arm of the seat, "Dad is hoping I'd be in Ravenclaw so I can focus on me studies. Merlin forbid me being on pompous Slytherin."
"Merlin help me also, I wouldn't bother showing my face if I break the Weasley tradition if I'm not in Griffindor." Said Septimus
Fleamont chuckles at his friend and shook his head.
"With your luck, I doubt that would happen, Lucky 7" said Fleamont
"Yeah, you're right," said Septimus, or Lucky 7 which Fleamont calls him. "I'm definitely going to be in Griffindor."
"I might as well be one also," said Fleamont "It's be boring if I wasn't."
Fleamont then turns his attention to the sights outside.
Present day
Harry is going back watching the passing fields and forests out the train window, so does Ron while they enjoy their lunch and sweets, Ron's sandwiches has corned beef in the which he absolutely hated and so does his mum, but with 4 other children at home, she didn't have the time to give Ron any of his favourite when she has to get her sons ready for Hogwarts before 11.
Harry offer share his lunch with Ron with his, but Ron politely refused, but Harry insisted as he tells that Sanji made his lunch and that he is an amazing cook, plus refusing his food would be a grave offense. Hesitant and reluctant, accepted and traded one of his corned beef sandwiches for some of Harry's lunch, and it's was the best decision he had ever made.
"Bloody hell, this is amazing!" said Ron
"Told you, Sanji is the best when it comes to cooking," said Harry as he took a bite of his corned beef sandwich, although dry it still tastes good, especially with a swig of pumpkin juice afterwards.
Suddenly, when Harry and Ron were just enjoying their lunch, the compartment door opens a familiar voice caught his attention.
"Well, well, so the rumour ARE true,"
"Oh no," said Harry closing his eyes and pulling a face with complete annoyance. "Anyone but HIM"
