Chapter 29: Fleamont's Magic Quill and hidden Journals

Thousand Sunny: Children's Quarters

Fleamont enters the children's quarters where he can find Harry sleeping in his own hammock, he approached Harry and noticed that he cried himself to sleep judging by the tears beneath his shut eyes and down across his cheeks. Fleamont wanted to pat his grandson's head, but given that he's dead, touching is impossible and it would only cause a chill down on Harry if he does.

Frowning sadly, Fleamont felt regret in telling Harry of the fate of his parents, but he can't not tell them for it might cause doubt in he boy if he ever was loved by Lily and James. Regardless, the ugly truth has been told and there is no turning back.

"I'm sorry, Harry," said Fleamont "I wish it wasn't so."

Fleamont waves his hand about and suddenly a letter appears on Harry's lap, the later seems old, perhaps 12 years old judging by the decolouring of the envelope and the slight fading of the ink, but it's readable and awaits for the one who name is written on the front.

Harry

"I wish I was alive enough to give you this, Harry," said Fleamont "But fate seems cruel for both of us. So forgive me for it's late arrival."

Fleamont stays for a bit longer so say his final goodbyes and then turns to leave for the door, just as the sun's first light was about to rise, Fleamont suddenly vanishes. The Séance is now over.

Afternoon

With the Séance last night, the Straw Hats had a lie in and slept though the morning, McGonagall and Dumbedore are reported that Harry wouldn't be attending for scholl today so they gave him absent leave for the day while he sleeps through the morning. Harry starts to stir in his sleep, he dreams of that night in Godric's Hollow 10 years ago, when Voldemort killed his parents and tried to kill me, later it shifts with the Sunny, being swallowed up in darkness, Blackbeard is on-board, holding a defeated Luffy while standing between the fallen Straw Hats, piled up either dead of broken.

He could hear his laughter (Ze ha, ha, ha), the very laughter that plague his very soul. Fortunately, Harry wakes up, he stares the dark ceiling, realising that the portholes are covered by curtains so that the sun doesn't disturb him and kids while they lie in after staying all night for the Séance last night, Harry stared blankly for a moment before getting out of his hammock. Just as he sits up he noticed something on his lap, an old letter with his name on it. He picks it up and examines it, curious about the letter he turns it to the open side where it's opening is held by a wax seal, similar to the one that bears the coat of arms of Hogwarts. But the coat of arms bears the head of a stag has the name Potter above it while the words, which are unknown to Harry, but it reads:

Fortis voluntas, cor nobile*

Curious by this, Harry carefully peels off the seal so not to damage it so he can open up the letter. He takes out the letter, which was written in parchment which wizards write on and written by a quill, Harry would know for he is familiar with the sytle the letters in each word are, for he writes in that way too (thank you, Robin).

Harry reads the letter

Dear Harry,

Congratulate on attending on your first day at Hogwarts, and if you're put on Gryffindor, then well done on that too. Now if I turn out to be dead when you received this later and your dad sent it instead, then allow me to introduce myself. I am Fleamont, your grandfather. Yes, I figured I would be dead and for that I am sorry, Dragon Pox is an...any let me tell you something while I have some parchment left to write on.

When I was in Hogwarts, I have left out 7 of my journals- JOURNALS, not diaries, I'm not a girl. Each of these JOURNALS (can you stop laughing Euffie...yes I know diaries are also used by men...because journals sound manly ok? Yes, I'll have a cup a tea...hobnobs obviously) now where was I...oh yes. Each of my journals are hidden throughout Hogwarts and I have drawn a map on where I have hidden them. Mind you these journals can be revealed to you each yeah, so the journal I writ on my first year is available to you. With the letter, the map I drawn is included, along with a magic quill, made from the plume of a Poe Raven, a type of corvid that can read minds, named after the poet Edgar Allen Poe, (Euffie, Harry will be 11 when he reads this, I doubt he understands legimancy yet or even bother who Edgar Allen Poe is...of course he'll learn it in Howgarts but I not for a little while. Yes, yes, I know you like The Raven but that's not the point... serious I don't why I bother writing with this quill if you keep interfering... yes I know it's writing for me! Sorry dear... I know dear... I love you too dear... I'll have apple crumble please)

Harry couldn't help but chuckle when he read this, according to this letter it was written down by a magic quill which wrote down what Fleamont was saying or thinking out. And for Euphemia, Harry's Grandmother interrupting him and correcting him, he couldn't help but chuckle. Mayby he'll get to see her next in next year's Séance. He continues with reading the letter.

As I said, the map and my quill are my first (and probably final) gifts to you, Harry. The journels contains by life in Hogwarts, along with the spells I learned which you wouldn't learn in Hogwarts (Yeah, well that is why I wrote them down in my journals, Euffie. No, No, they can be found in the Room of Requirement, it's really a secret place to hide it if some needs to use it for catching up in their homework of use it as place for a quick snog...yes I know we did use that, and so does every horny teenager in Hogwarts...How do I know that? It's common sense, innit? Remember how Lucky 7 got lucky with some of them twins in Ravenclaw, or with that... Black lass...yes, I talking about Nyx...well she hates me so of course I'm not calling her by her first name... because she bad as Swanny and her cousins, that's why?!)

Grr, I'm getting out of track here (and losing space on this sheet of parchment, I knew I should've used the 5 footer of a simple A4), anyway, seek out the journals, read what did in Hogwarts which I hope helps with your 7 terms as I did. Learn magic, make friends, fall in love and- if you're lucky and get away with it, curse your enemies. (No Euffie, I'm not encouraging Harry to get into trouble... well if it weren't for you and Euffie grassing on me, then i wouldn't have...no dear...yes dear...*sigh* you're right, as always...no I did not call you a know-it-all, that's Minnie. Euffie what are you doing...hay!)

Harry, this is your Grandmother, Euphemia. Please disregard that last part what your Grandfather said. I wish I had anything for you for Hogwarts, but sadly it didn't occur to me, but Fleamont is right about most things, you should have fun in Hogwarts, don't let those Slytherins bully, (and if you happen to be in Slytherin, then we won't hold it against you. Not all are pompous pure-bloods (Yes Monty, I'm gonna give it back to you...well excuse me if I want a few words in...because he's MY grandson too, do you want to sleep in the potions shed again? Yes, I thought so...) Anyway, enjoy Hogwarts, and just as Fleamont said: Learn magic, make friends, and fall in love.

Yours Sincerely

Your Grandparents Fleamont and Euphemia

P.S

Please tell Lily not to worry about what that despicable sister said to us at their wedding, I doubt we'll see her again. (no Monty, it's not because of the outbreak, don't be so grim)

Harry couldn't help but shed a tear from that letter, he assumed that his Grandfather gave him that letter while he was sleeping. Now how can a ghost can do that? No clue, but it doesn't matter for he was given the letter. He looks inside the envelope again to see another sheet of paper, folded two ways, and a black feathered quill which sprung back to life and hovers around Harry with it's freed from it's paper prison.

"Hello," said Harry to the Quill, which the quill wisps around to any nearby pieces of blank paper, which can be found on one of the bedsides and starts to write "hello" on it. "Er...did you say hello or just wrote what I said?

The Quill wrote "I wrote Hello in responsive, I am technically alive, magically crafted by my original master Charlus Potter, who was Fleamont's Uncle at the time. Charlus gave me to Fleamont, who used me to write down notes during glass. His father Henry tried to confiscate me, but I kept myself hiding and was in Fleamonts possession ever since, until he used me for the last time and stuffed me in that latter for...what year is it?"

"1991, Harry answered.

"12 years?! What the hell, Fleamont?" exclaimed the quill. "A comfortable pen case would've suffice, I was too long to be stuffed in an envelope for 12 years, my plumb could've been bent, my tip sticking out and rusted from the exposure. Serious, after 40 odd years he'd knew how to take care of me."

"Sorry to hear about that, but I'll take care of you...sorry, but do you have a name?" said Harry. "I doubt it's Quill."

"Thanks for asking, you can call me Poe," wrote Poe, "Names because I was made from the feather of the Poe Raven, a magical corvid that can read minds...plus named from the Muggle poet Edgar Allen Poe."

"Yeah, I really need to look him up later." Said Harry

"I recommend reading the Raven, it's cliché I know but you can't beat the classics." Said Poe

"So how do I use you?" said harry

"It's simple," Poe then starts to write in instruction. "To use me, all you do is either say or think what you want me to write. Don't worry, not all thought will be written down without your consent. I've read enough thoughts from Fleamont to know what should be written and that shouldn't."

"Oh good, because I have a potions teacher and a boy that I utterly despised and I wouldn't want to have any of those thoughts written own." Said Harry

"Understood, I just write down thoughts that involved school work." Said Poe. "I just have one condition before you use me."

"And that is?" said Harry

"No pockets, please," said Poe "After being crammed in that envelope for 13 years I tends to feel claustrophobic."

"You can perch on my hat," said Harry has picks up his hat. "I'm a pirate and most pirates have some plumage decorated on their hats.

"Hmm, Black and Orange does work...why not?" said Poe as it flies to the side of Harry's hat and perches on the side. Seeing that that it remains there suggests to Harry that he quill is happy.

Harry takes the map and which is very crude but still accurate, even when it's drawn by someone around Harry's age.

"Not bad, Granddad" said Harry as he looks at the map. "Not par to mum's skill in cartography but I can still read it. Now...let's see where the first journal is..."

Suddenly a red dot starts to appeared to pinpoint the location of the journal, pointed right at the school library.

"Huh, it's pointing at the library, and what better way to hide a book is among other books...and Madame Pince,- perfect. Harry sighed with exasperation for he knows how much of a grouch Madame Pince, the school librarian is. Especially when she takes "Quiet in the Library" very serious, one peek and you'll be out of them doors faster before you could even leg it and hide from her. And there's no way she's gonna make an exception for some 50 year old treasure hunt for a family heirloom. Really, Granddad, couldn't you hide it less complicated."

Harry sighed and tried to calm down.

"Just relax, Harry," said Harry "You're a pirate, finding treasure isn't suppose to be easy. Plus, Hogwarts in the late 30s are way different than it was today, so Madame Pince wasn't the librarian back then. I mean she's old but not ancient like Profeor Binns."

KNOCK

KNOCK

"Kids are you up?" the voice of Usopp calls out from outside the door, catching Harry's attention. "Breakfast is ready, hurry up and eat it before the captain does."

Harry pockets the map in his trousers and starts to draw the port hole curtains open. As the sunlight beams through, the other kids starts to groan in complaint.

"Harry!" exclaimed Belle as she's the most who got the sunlight shining on her.

"Come on, rise and shine," said Harry "Breakfast is ready."

"You're rather hipper this afternoon," said Yassop rubbing his eyes. "Last night you were rather upset when you found out that moldy guy not only killed your parents but imprisoned their souls."

"Yeah...well, crying isn't gonna solve the problem." Said Harry "And besides, I'm way out of my league for a re-encounter."

"Plus you have no idea where he is, don't you." Said Belle with a deadpan expression.

"No clue!" said Harry crossing his arms and frowned, causing the others to groan. "now come on, let's go already."

And like that, Harry leaves through the door. The new generation are rather puzzled at Harry for last night when he cried from the horrid truth and fate of his parents, there is no way he can still be alright after that.

"Either he's putting on a brave face or..."

"Ah, ah ah," said Belle stopping Sora, "This like the time when Dad fought Akainu after he tried to have him executed. The best thing we should do is forget about it."

"Are you sure, because last time..."

"Forgetaboutit!" exclaimed Belle as she jumps out of bed and heads for the kitchens to have her late breakfast.

"I told you watching those American movies was a bad idea" said Banchina to Yassop.

"Well excuse me for providing the ship with a telly and a VHS player," said Yassop as he points out the two appliances in the quarters, not to mention a Sega Mega Drive and a SNES."

"You mean you nicked them," said Banchina

"Hello~ pirate" Yassop emphasised to his sister. "You think I'm gonna let Harry get all the glory too. "The trickiest part was getting then to work without electricity."

"Until you realised that dad borrowed a portable power generator fro Dr. Vegapunk before the World Government attacked?" said Banchina.

"Yeah that," said Yassop. "I mean if they work on supercharging the General Franky and the DFD, then why wouldn't it work on these things."

"It's a wonder, because muggle electronics don't work at Hogwarts." Said Sora

"Technically we ain't inside the castle," said Yassop "So, they work."

"Yeah well, I still thing watching those movies was a bad idea."

"Yeah well you can bllame Harry for that," said Yassop "Hina got lucky, she gets to stay wit the Kujas and no doubt they're having fun out at sea."

Meanwhile with the Kuju Pirates

"I bloody hate this!" exclaimed Hinagiku as she and a bunch of Kuja Pirates are running away from a giant wild beast.

"Let compaining and more running, Princess" said Ran while Marguerite and Rindo are firing their weapons (snake bow and arrow, and a bazooka) but they had no affect on the creature, expecially when the shots were enhanced with Haki. "Who would've thought, that these creatures knew Haki."

"This is the last time I'm ever sailing with you Ran!" Hinagiku shouted in anger. "Next time, I'm taking up Kikyo's offer."

"Aw" said Ran with a hurt look.

"chin up, Ran," said Rindo while she reloads her bazooka while Marguerite covers her with a flurry of arrows. "she's just moody because she missed her family."

"DO NOT!" exclaimed Hinagiku. "I see the Perfume Yuda, let's get out of here!"

"You don't want the treasure then?" said Ran

"Let the beast keep it, burn the map and leave this place!" said Hinagiku as she immediately ran up the gangplank.

Ran chuckled as she saw the young princess enter the ship.

"She has a lot to learn," said Ran she turns to the charging beast and glares intensely at it. Ran used Conqueror's Haki which she learned throughout the years and scared off the beast with it's tail between it's legs. "That should do it for now, we'll hop on another island."

"You think she'll get it, Captain?" said Rindo.

Ran, who is appointed captain of the Perfume Yuda, smiles as she looks back at the ship where Hinagiku remains on.

"I'm possitive," said Ran, "I mean, she's thdaughter of not only the former empress Hancock, but current Pirate King too. If they have the skills, then she will too."

"So what do we to about the treasure?" said Marguerite

"Leave it, if she want's it she has to earn it." Said Ran "But for now, let's head back home."

Back on the Sunny

"Hmm, I wonder how Hina's fairing," Hancock said with wonder for her daughter while reading today's Daily Prophet, as well as the Muggle's Daily Mirror.

"Oh I'm sure she's having fun with her aunts and the others," said Luffy, finishing off his 6th place.

"I can't believe it's been 2 months now," said Hancock "I'm starting to miss her."

"We all agree, right?" said Luffy as he place his hand on Hancock's to comfort her. "We let her stay with your sisters for 6 months so she can hone her Kuja training, and once she's gets hand on the basics, you can take over."

"Of course," said Hancock as she turns her hand so she can hold her husbands. "I trust my sisters."

Suddenly the kitchen door opens and Harry, followed with Belle, Sora and Banchina came to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Harry, girls" said Luffy when he noticed that the boys aren't with them. "Where are Tom, Yassop and Mick?"

"Micks in the loo, and Tom and Yassop are having a quick round of Street Fighter 2 before they can join us." Said Banchina. "I warned them that you'll eat the food, but all they care about is playing on those doubt video games."

"Yeah, ever since Yassop nicked them he and Tom are always on that thing." Said Sora

"Yeah, Yassop amost did a all-nighter on that Final Fantasy 2 (Final Fantasy 4) a week ago and I couldn't get a decent night's sleep."

"I told you taking Yassop to that toy store in London was a bad idea," Kaya scolded her husband.

"Hey, I didn't know he'd be such a klepto," said Usopp with a nervous grin "An besides, I couldn't be more proud."

"You're encouraging our son to steal?" said Kaya

"Kaya, we're pirates," Usopp emphasised while shrugging his shoulders. "And besides, the police there are total jokes, especially when we floo'd the hell out of there before they could catch us."

"You do realise that they have cameras, CCTV, right?" said Kaya

"Yeah, well dont expect me to do some shopping there for some time," said Usopp, chuckling nervously.

"It's still a wonder how Yassop managed to nick a television, a VHS player, a dozen videos, some are from Disney, 2 game consoles with a few games all on his own?" said Luffy

"Yeah well..." said Usopp mumbled

"What was that?" said Kaya

"I might of... enchanted his pouch"

"Excuse me?" said Kaya

"I enchanted his pouch, alright!" exclaimed Usopp

"What?" said everyone

"Ok, how?" said Nami "You're not even magical, Usopp"

"Yeah about that?" said Usopp rubbing the back of his neck. "while I was doing some shopping in Hogsmede a month ago. I was suddenly jumped by a group of muggle-hating thugs. I fought them off, obviously but it left me hurting, plus got hexed along with it...see."

Usopp tugged down his overalls to show everyone his scar on his chest, albeit faint and nearly invisible.

"Whoa, that's so cool" said Luffy

"Cool, Luffy he was attacked!" exclaimed Chopper in a panic as he came by to check on Usopp's recently noticeable Andscar. "How deep was it, why didn't you tell me?"

"Chopper, relax" said Usopp as he pats on the reindeer's head. "I had it treated, but what I learned afterwards...well that's when I got scared."

"What do you mean."

""After I got hurt from my victorious battle against the blighters, one of the locals saw be hurt and bleeding and was kind enough to take me to St. Mungos, a hospital for witches." Said Usopp "They also treat muggles... err, muggles who are aware of the wizarding community or if they were either hexed or cursed which they are later on mind wiped. Anyway I hat my wound treated, but I was called in by the Head healer of the establishment. A nice woman, very muggle friendly. Anyway, she asked me some personal question about my family. I told her about my mother, and my father. And asked if I ever see them do anything unusual, something that muggle doesn't do. I ask, well joked to say that my mother was a witch, and well..."

"Wait, you're a wizard?" said Luffy

"Apparently, Dr. Tonks had my blood tested and it turns out I'm a half-blood," said Usopp as he pulls out his Kabuto starts screwing off the bottom. "And I mean, with the things I did, it quite clear that I'm not normal. Hell, none of us are, but neverwould've thought that I'd be magical you you Harry."

When Usopp pulls out the bottom cap of his Kuro Kabuto, he pulls out a wand which he hid inside he shaft.

"I went to Ollivanders to ask if I am eligible for a wand, and to my surprise he sold me the right one." Said Usopp, "I had it fixed in my Kuro Kabuto, which Ollivander was happy to do, granted that he recall some good times playing with a slingshot himself. I can now cast spells just like how I shot my pop greens...but I still need to learn some magic for that to happen."

"And when was that?" said Kaya with a frown.

"month ago?" said Usopp

"A month?" said Kaya

"Hey, it as scary for me, alright?" said Usopp "Me learning magic, it was a lot to progress, alright. I wanted to tell you, but I needed time to cope with the concept. Especially when we're in a society where wizards are segregated from the non-magical."

Kaya was shocked by this and starts to understands.

"Usopp, I love you no matter what," said Kaya as she gives her husband a kiss before she gives him a mild smack on the cheek. "But that's no excuse for you to help our son commit crimes, I better not have you use any magic for that, you got it."

"Got it, love," said Ussop rubbing his cheek where his wife smacked. "It was just simple charm, Filius taught me it."

"You told Professor Flitwick and not me?" said Kaya in an immediate anger.

"I told a few professors, including Dumbledore" said Usopp before Kaya suddenly storms off in a huff. "Wait, Kaya, I just needed some guidance when it comes to magic! Ah hell!"

Usopp jumps off from his chair and chases after Kaya while she storms off from the kitchen.

"He shouldn't have kept it from her," said Nami

"Why don't you have a go?" said Harry "I mean, you were orphaned during the raid of Oykot Kingdom, and you don't know much about your parents."

"Sweet as it sounds, but I'll give it a pass this once," said Nami as she drinks her coffee. "Speaking of parents, how are y fairing, Harry."

"I'm...better," said Harry, albeit hesitant for the news did hit him where he lived. To have his parent's soul taken by a dark wizard that alost killed him...that was messed up. "It'll take some time for me to even talk about it. But I promise, I'll talk about it."

"Only if you want to, dear," said Nami "And I'm sorry that we took our time talking to your Grandfather."

"Is it about the scar, isn't it?" said Harry

"You know?" said Nami with a sudden shock.

"Yeah, when Fleamont showed my his memory of that night my parents died, I looked carefully at how the curse was suppose to kill me, and instead rebounded and blow up." Said Harry, "Plus I've been having nightmares, about Dad and Blackbeard in Raftel, it hurts whenever I have those dreams, especially the part when my scar was spouting out smoke which formed into a face of a screaming dying man."

"You never told us about that?" said Luffy

"I didn't want you to worry, dad," said Harry with a sad frown. "When I used Haki for the first time, and it nearly killed me. I didn't want to make you sad."

"I...*sigh* I appreciate the concern," aid Luffy "But as a father, I will alway worry for you, and it's because I love you."

"I know dad," said Harry with a smile.

"So, since youve been given time off school, what plan's you have."

"I'm going to school," said Harry "I got some homework to do and this is the best chance to catch up before I can hand it in tomorrow."

"Seriously?" said Luffy with a deadpan expression before Nami smacked him on the back of the head. "ow, really Nami?"

"Don't pout, you know Harry's busy while he's in school," said Nami before turning to Harry. "Don't let us keep ya, Harry."

"Thanks, mum," said Harry as he takes makes himself a bacon and egg butty to go and heads back to Hogwarts.

"See you later this weekend, Harry," said everyone.

"Bye," said Harry before leaving the kitchen.

Library

Little does Straw hats know, Harry has no homework, he's caught up with it with the hopes of getting the ring off his finger and be able to use the Blink-Blink Fruit powers again. But sadly, he has to take the long way again and ever so nauseous thanks to his high intolerance to Sea-Prism Stone. He quietly opens the library door so not to cause Madam Pince to react to the noise and calmly walks in. The library isn't chocker, but there are others who came to do some reading and studying. The librarian is at her desk, stamping on books that were checked in by their previous borrowers. She looks up slightly to see Harry and leers suspiciously for she hardly see him here, and can you blame him.

The first time he set foot in the library, he made a mistake of making a noise, sure it away a sneeze caused by inhaling old book dusk but that alone caused the librarian to find and give him a harsh shush. Harry shuddered from that memory and looks away in the hopes of ignoring the librarian's soul piecing stare. He pulls out the map and starts to read it, the map is zoomed to the scale where it shows only the library. This surpised Harry but happy it did is now easy to start searching the premises without causing any disturbance to alert the librarian.

Harry starts searching, searching through row after row on each shelf on ever bookcase, but finding it is easier said than done for the red dot on the map which indicates the location of the journal covers the entire area of the library. Harry groaned and sat on one of the desks so he can carefully read the map. This also draws the attention of th librarian and she starts to approach Harry.

"You know, this is a library so you need to read a book and/or study," said Madame Pince "I don't aloud loiterers here."

"Sorry, I was just...looking for something," said Harry

Madame Pince look notice of the map on the desk, and this caused the librarian to respond with a curious frown.

"I see," said Madame Pince as she pulls out her want and casts "Revelio" on the map.

"Hey!" exclaimed Harry to the librarian "What was that..."

"Shhh! This is a library, Mr. Potter" Madame Pince said assertedly. "I'll have to take 5 points from your house for that.

"S-Sorry," said Harry, forgetting that he has to be quiet, he looks at his map and saw that the red dot is now shifting in a row of words, a small poem? Or perhaps a riddle."

"Normally I do not allow things like that in my Library," said Madame Pince "but seeing that Fleamont sent you here, I'll overlook it. Just search quietly and leave if you have no further business.

"Thanks" said Harry quietly to the Librarian as he returns to the map and starts to ready the riddle.

"Seek out the Founder's Beast

leering it's prey upon the wall

There it gazes at it's fear

Hanging upwards in this hall.

There you see the Potter Stag,

with oaken antlers shine

Speak the family motto

And my journal with by thine."

"Founder's beast?" said Harry as he starts to look around him, he stands him from his desk while muttering "Founder's Beast, Founder's Beast" over and over until he suddenly found the first part of the clue. "Founder's" Beast"

He spots a wooden statue of a lion, which is the beast of the founder Godric Gryffindor.

"leering it's prey upon the wall" Harry reread the next part of the riddle. He stands in front of the lion statue so to look at what its look at, or leering upon. There he sees an inconspicious plague hanging...just above the librarian's desk.

Harry groaned and approached the desk, where Madame Pince is sitting. When she saw Harry she looks with inquiry.

"Can I help you?" said Madame Pince

Harry looks up at the plague with the stag's hag, which reminds him of that wax seal on the envelope, it has words written below it.

"Now, what was were those words again?" said Harry as he tries to recall the words until it hit him. "Ah, Fortis voluntas, cor nobile"

The plague suddenly opens and falling from it is an old navy blue fabric-bound book. Harry catches the book and starts to open it to read.

"Property of Fleamont Potter- 1938-39"

"So you found Fleamont's Journal" said Madame Pince with a deadpan expression. "Do you have any idea how much trouble that thing is worth. Rumours about it was well known at Hogwarts, students throughout the generation for 50 years, searching for it, disrupting the sanctity of this place, all because it contains unique spells we learned in his time here in Hogwarts, it's like that Cursed Vaults incident in '84.

"Sorry, what?" said Harry

"Never you mind, Potter!" said Madame Pince with a stern leer at the boy. "I swear, you're beginning to sound like him. I'm glad he's dead, I bloody throttle him."

"Now there's no need for that," said Harry "He is by grandfather, after all."

"And you're bloody bad as him!" said Madame Pince, breaking her first ever rule here in the library: keep quiet. "Oh now look what you made me do."

"Sorry about that, I'll be going," said Harry as he takes his leave.

"Yes, go, you prolonged your stay here," said Madame Pince "I don't want you here unless it's for proper business, like reading and doing your school work."

Harry wasted no time and left the Library with his grandfather's journal. He came what he wants, not it's time to head back to the common room.

End of Chapter

*Strong will, Noble Heart

Chapter 30: Quidditch

Gryffindor Common Room: November 1st

Harry left the library and heads back to the common, which is empty due to everyone still in class so he'll be on his own for a couple of hours. This happens to be the perfect oppotunity to start reading his grandfather's journal which dates back to his first year at Hogwarts at September 1938 to late Summer 1939. Harry opens the book, but just as he starts to read, he suddenly noticed that the pages are blank.

"what the...?" said Harry as he turns to the other page and saw it blank too. "There is no way Granddad left me to find a blank book. Maybe it's magic.

Harry pulls out his wand and prepares to say the spell.

"What was the spell Madame Pince used?" said Harry trying to remember, "Oh yeah, Revelio!"

Suddenly a row of words starts to form, another riddle, albeit a short one.

If you are a family buck

Speak our motto

To read thy book

"Fortis voluntas, cor nobile" said Harry and suddenly the pages start to glow and engulfs Harry completely.

Inside the Journal

Harry looks around to see nothing but white space, well not entirely white but more of a certain shade of grey to match the ones you find on any page of any book. He looks down at his feet to see that he is standing on a platform made of scrambled and jumbled up letters scrolled in ink. Suddenly, a letters starts to manifest and takes the form of a doorway with a date written above.

September 5th 1938

Harry walked through the doorway and found himself back in the Gryffindor Common Room, but only this time it was all black and white, just like how Fleamont's memory was when he showed Harry the night of his parent's death. He looks around and suddenly saw a boy sitting by a desk. The boy looks just like Harry, the same messy black hair, similar round glasses, but the only difference from harry is that he has no scar on his forehead.
