I Thank you for giving me a chance to read the story I am telling even though the grammar is not good at all.
To rectify this I turned the two chapters into one chapter and then tried my best fixed the grammar to make sure that the newcomers can enjoy the cleaners and rewritten version, to be honest, it was a mess when you first read it.

Chapter 1: ReZero: New Headmates
Flugel was in one of the rooms experimenting with a magic spell.
"I wonder what this spell would do if I had this element but using this symbol would do" He said mumbling to himself.
Then his uses his mana from his magic gate and attempt to cast the spell.
"Master-sama when is my punishment done? I want to play outside!" Shaula calls out to her master as she barges in his research room.
"When I feel like you deserve enough! You should not have ever touched my research!" Flugel mentions the incident that his apprentice caused. not only that the spell seem to work is it begin to glow from his fingertip
"How am I supposed to know that that spell would cause a winter storm affecting a nearby village!" Shaula with a pouting on her face. Flugel ignores her plead.
"OK let's see the damage you have caused" Flugel cast the spell.. and he began to glow all over his body
"You caused distress for our friend Alec about losing his investment, then now I have to apologize for Satella's sake cause the people thought she was the reason the storm happened in the first place, then -" then he disappears
"Master-sama?" Shaula looked at the place that once stood her master...

Alec Hoshin
Alec Hoshin is walking in the city he had created. He had the wealth of being a merchant and running a country, the influence of people who respected him and Flugel, and the prestige of unifying a nation.
As he was walking in the street being surrounded by people who knew about the father of their nation. While some even bowed to him.
Suddenly he begins to glow.
"What in Od Laguna Flugel cast this time?" said Alec Hoshin looking so done.
He grew brighter and brighter before disappearing.

Theresia van Astrea who fought and single-handedly brought an end to the Demi-Human War.
And she had just died to the great whale, it was not a pleasant experience, to say the least. with that the moment she dies she becomes a ghost. she could see and hear the seconds moment after her death.
She could see the horror look of her husband's and grandson's faces of horror as she was eaten and chewed into bits.
but that was short-lived as suddenly she began to glow brighter and brighter
"What in Od Laguna?" Theresia said before she disappeared into the light.

Fourier Lugunica ...
On his deathbed, he looks at his friend Crush, and Felix. he dies with a smile on his face the disease that has infected his family took his last breath.
He suddenly has an out-of-body experience as if he is leaving his own body.
"Sorry Crusch I have so much to say, and so many things I wish to do with you, but it looks like it is not meant to be," He said before a light came to envelop him.
" Od Laguna? Has my time to go now? I don't want to leave so soon." Fourier said to a force he could not understand.
Despite that, it only lasted for a second before a light enveloped him grows brighter and brighter before he disappeared

"I have been transferred to another world!" calls out Subaru to the entire world.
"Sweet. Now where is my summoner to help me in this quest" he said thinking about a woman with a big bust in cloth that was barely covering her breast that would summon him.
Suddenly, if fate punished him for his horniness, he got a splitting headache, then shortly after a few seconds a bright light then suddenly four ghosts.
A red hair girl on the ground in a green dress, a red-haired man wearing a black and grey robe who was dowsed into the fountain, a blond teenager wearing a red robe laying on the road with a cart phasing over him, and a black hair man that looks eerie similar to his dad but less buff, without glasses, and wearing a white cloth over him sitting in front of him.
"My head what just happened." His dad's clone complains about his headache.
"Flugel? What's going on? Also, I agree my head hurts, and why are my clothes wet?" The red-haired man joins in the complaint pulling up from an unplanned swimming in the fountain.
"My head hurts" Red-haired girl with a spitting headache getting up from the ground.
"Nnhhh" poor boy let out a groan as a demi-human and carts steps through him.
the moment when Subaru's headache cleared before seeing the two ghosts in front of him and one on the road, then he turn around to see another ghost behind him.
Then he turned his attention back on the two ghost in front of him.
"Oh! Are you four the ones that summoned me?" he said calling out to the ghosts
"Summoned? What do you mean?" The red-haired girl asked the boy in question.
"Summoned? does that mean you mean also from Japan right?" his dad's clone asked him
Meanwhile, the poor boy on the road did not respond yet as he was laying on the ground, still trying to recover from his sudden transportation.
"Yes!" Subaru turns to the dad clone with star eyes. "Since you know about summoning, what demon king must I slay! or what worlds needs saving!" He said eagerly ready for a quest.
The dad clone looked at him... Then He looked at the red hair girl... he looked at the red-haired man in the fountain... then looked at the boy on the road with cart seemly just rolling over him but just phasing right though him... then he looked back on to Subaru before looking at red-haired man rinsing his robe from the ghostly water with Subaru following what his dad clone is seeing.
"Look kid, I don't know how to say this, but I am not sure why you are summoned. The same thing happened to me." his dad clone explained to him.
"Oh! Are you telling me this is a slice of life Isekai then!" Subaru concluded the man's reason.
"I don't know what slice of life Isekai means, but if it is something peaceful then yes." Dad's clone confirmed.
"Yes!" Subaru said in excitement. "Oh! right, I did not introduce myself!" he said before he pointed to the stars...or sun.
"My name is Nasukui Subaru not only am I clueless, I'm also broke beyond compare."
His dad let out a small giggle before he made a bow. "Names Flugel, I am the one of the great sage that - "
"Great sage?! That can't be true! last time when I was alive the sage's name was Shaula!" the red hair girl cuts in looking shocked at the man beside her.
"Yes, I am a great sage, and Shaula is the great sage now? Geez, talk about assistant to become a sage real quick." Flugel said with a smile and an impressed look on his face. Meanwhile, Subaru look at the Flugel with awe, like he was his real dad back home.
"Since you cut me off during my introduction, why don't you introduce yourself little missy." the sage teasing the girl.
That girl pouted in response to being called little. "I am not little," she murmured before presenting herself. she stands tall and proud and has her fist resting on where the heart is located. Like a soldier getting into formation.
"My name is Theresia van Astrea, a wife to Wilhelm van Astrea the Sword Demon, and the previous generation's Sword Saint, who fought in the Demi-Human War." Theresia introduces herself with a bow.
"WOW! You have fought in the Demi-war and won?!" Subaru looked ecstatic with Theresia when she fought in the war.
"Hmmm, are you sure are a descendant of Rein?" Flugel looked at Theresia with curiosity in his eyes. Along with the Red-hair guy who got out of the fountain and stood beside Flugel also looking at Theresia with curiosity.
Said the girl looking at the sage all confused.
"Yes, my ancestor and I were born of the Rein Bloodline. We must stand with pride in the art of the sword and humbleness. Why did you ask that?" Theresia said doing another bow and stilted her head in confusion.
Flugel and the red-haired guy looked at each other before Flugel tried and failed to laugh, only to laugh on the floor.
This made Theresia pout face that the Flugel laughing at her and her family lineage.
"Does any of you or your family member drink excessing wine and beer?" the red-haired guy asked while Flugel was laughing on the floor.
This question that confused the Sword Saint.
"No? My family and ancestors have never drunk in excessing wine and beer for we are a modeled knight of Lugunica " Theresia tilts her head more in confusion.
This then made the Flugel laugh again and this made Theresia pouting face again.
"Hey, merchant man it time for your introduction!" Flugel after quickly recovering and then calls out to the red-haired Guy .
"Flugel, we have been transported to who knows where, and you are concerned about introducing yourself?!" asked the red hair man about his concern.
"Yes." Flugel only said
"Wait" Theresia then suddenly cut in to take a closer look at red-haired man standing beside the fallen Flugel.
Then suddenly Theresia became wide as Dishplate realized who this person was standing before.
"Are you Alec Hoshin!? Hoshin of the Wilderness!?" look at the man in amazement
" Hoshin of the Wilderness, so that How I will be remembered." Alec Hoshin mumbled to himself
"I have no idea about the Hoshin of the Wilderness part, but yes I am Alec Hoshin. At your service" Alec Hoshin said with a simple bow.
"um, Theresia-san can you explain what Hoshin of the Wilderness means?" Subaru asks Theresia who seems to be talking about meeting a legend in the flesh.
"Alec Hoshin! Hoshin of the Wilderness! This man is the one that united a multitude of small countries and founded one of the Four Great Nations known as the Kararagi!" Theresia called out the man who was a founder of the great nation.
"Wow! So you are the founding father of a great nation! That is awesome!" Subaru joins in the praise of the man in front of him.
"Look at that friend, looks like I am remembered for generations unlike you." Alec look at Flugel smug.
"Eh, I don't care about that, all I care is about spending time with my beloved" Flugel said with pride.
"hmmm, then she must be a beautiful woman." Subaru said without a second thought.
"You are damn right she is!" Flugel goes to Subaru to give a head noogies.
"Finally someone can take off my weight of being messed with," Alec said as his friend gave Subaru noogies.
" Oh ya?! Take this!" suddenly Flugel pounced on Alec and gave him a head noogie.
"Ok Flugel-dono I give!" Alec calls him to stop. before Flugel let him out of the Noogies.
Then every person in the group heard a groan, then looked at the boy on the road as the carts and lizards phased the boy, ignoring him as if he was not there.
"you get him," Subaru, Flugel, and Hoshin said almost in unison as they turned to the Sword Saint.
"Why me?" Theresia asked.
"Because you are the sword saint." said Subaru
"Because you have a better experience of not getting harmed," said Hoshin
"Because I don't want to." said Flugel
Theresia let out a sigh, before approaching the road, she looked both ways in case the cart coming. It was as it was heading to the boy on the ground.
'Why is no one paying attention to the boy' she thought before sprinting as fast as a lightning dodging pedestrians and beating around the cart as fast as she could.
Then she was able to pick up the boy before another cart could to run him over again.
She grabs the blond boy carrying him princess style and then does the same movement of sprinting and stopping to avoid any cart and pedestrian alike with the boy at hand until they reach back to the fountain.
When she reached the other side with the other boy in hand, the three boys clapped their hands for the sword saint.
Finally, the blond boy wakes up from his and looks at the red hair. said red hair looking back at the blond boy
"Fourier Lugunica-sama?" said the Theresia holding him.
Fourier first looked puzzled at first before his red eye expanded in shock.
"Theresia-dono?" the Fourier said in shock.
"Lugunica-sama? Why did you become a child ?" Theresia van Astrea asked the blond boy in question.
"Why are you alive Theresia-Dono? actually, I just died? Wait we meant to be dead, but why are we alive?" the blond boy seems to be very confused as he observes his surroundings.
"Astrea-san? Do you know this boy?" the Flugel asked a sword saint in question.
"Yes, this person right is Fourier Lugunica the Fourth Prince of Lugunica." Theresia said before setting the boy gently down.
The three of them only look at the boy silently like they are waiting for more. it only lasted for a few seconds before Subaru raised his hand.
"Is that all?" Subaru said looking confused about why this blond boy was with them. "We have a great sage -" pointing at Flugel "the man that created a kingdom -" pointing at Hoshin "and you a sword saint that stoped a war." then pointing at her. then pointing at the boy "And you are telling me that all boy right here is a fourth prince of Lugunica?" Subaru wanted to confirm what she said was true before continuing.
Theresia just nods, not knowing how to process what Subaru means.
"I am sorry if I sound disappointed, but I am disappointed that I got only three legendary heroes then I have a prince as the fourth companion." Subaru said, while the other two Legendary bros seemed to nod in agreement.
"But he is still the prince of Lugunica! Lugunica-sama should be treated respected!" she said a bit peeved that Subaru and also the legendary hero bros are not treating the Lugunica-sama with respect.
"Sorry to burst your bubble miss, but I have to agree with the boy here. I mean I may have accidentally caused this situation, but I also agree that all of us here should have an important role when we are summoned here" Flugel said defending Subaru.
"But he is still the prince of Lugunica!" Theresia said again like a broken record not able to comprehend the idea that the prince of Lugunica would not be treated with respect.
"Why does it feel like I am not being treated seriously?" Lugunica asked.
Hoshin gave a pat on the shoulder of the prince and looked at him with pity.
"With my pal over there, You will get used to it" Hoshin said with pity in his voice for the prince.

After the bickering between the sage and the teenage Sword saint, the party begins their journey in the starting city they were in.
"This looks like the capital of Lugunica." Fourier said after waking for a while.
"Sure, but have to ask, why are you still guys following me?" Subaru said looking at the four ghosts following him. "Not I am against having the three Legendary heroes following me, it's just don't you have family and other things you need to get back to?"
"You see, apparently this guy thought it was a good idea to cast a spell that he was experimenting on and see what would happen. " Hoshin pointed at the sage being dragged on the ground.
"first it seemed as if that since coming here we are unable to interacted with the world"Hoshin then shows by trying to touch a pedestrian that was just walking only to be phase though as if he was air. "and apparently after he cast that spell, he lost his ability to use his gate, the same could be said with the two losing their ability to use magic too." pointing atFourier andTheresia, with said two nodding in agreement.
"How am I supposed to know something like this would happen!" Flugel yells at his bro partner "Also, to answer why we are following? We don't have a choice." He points to himself "You see that it looks like I am being dragged against my will by sword saint here" pointing at the closest person to him. " but really, an invisible force seems to just. well... pulls me back."
Flugel then stands up suddenly, "Watch this." he said about to do a sprint. Everyone looks at the sage at what he is about to do.
The sage then bolts down the traffic, as he is running he phases through carts and lizard beasts alike. it seemed as he make it to the other side, but he continued to more further.
then suddenly
"AHHHHHHH" the sage was pulled by the cloak and suddenly was pulled back to the group.
Splat*
Eating the wall pavement by face planting it, but without damaging the structure. it lasted for a few seconds before gravity took hold and slowly slid him down with his head touching the ground first. then his back and leg fell down and also hit the pavement.
"Sorry about this Subaru-San, but we have to be following you for a while." Theresia said with her fist on her heart and bowed before him. "You forgive us for the circumstance they are in." she ended her apology while still bowing to him.
"Hey hey, don't worry about it," Subaru said waving his hand at the sword saint. "I am sorry for dragging you three heroes with me." he said bowing at the three standing ghosts and one ghost on the ground. "It just means we have to be friends and get along with one another! "
Theresia seems happy about her apology being accepted but it only lasted for a few seconds to realize that Lugunica-sama is not counted for the apology.
"But what about the Lugunica-sama?" Like a broken record, Theresia again asks about the respect of the prince.
Fourier just out a sigh "Theresia please stop. I am not long the fourth prince of Lugunica the day that I died. Please drop it" he said accepting his fate of not being acknowledged as someone important while seeing the one of legends right beside him and the other one on the ground dusting of his cloak.
"But Lugunica-Sama."Theresia said sounding disheartened about the prince accepting his fate.
Flugel shot up suddenly interrupting the moment "And now with that, we will be stuck with you. Now, we just have to learn to live with each other for the time being." Flugel said answering Subaru's question while dusting off a transparent kind of dust of himself.
"Oooooo! Then can you teach me magic?" Subaru asked the great sage for his wisdom with stars in his eyes.
"Sure, thing kid." quickly accepting the request within a heartbeat "The first you need to know about magic is tha-"
"LOOK OUT THERE IS KID ON THE ROAD!" cries a random pedestrian pointing at the road.
Everyone looks to see a kid on the road about to be hit by the lizard beast and cart heading straight toward them!
"I got this!" Subaru said. then does a strange arm motion before suddenly kneeling and pushing his palm out "Hhhaa!" as if to call out his spell.

The cart still heads to the child! the cart driver does her best to slow the cart, but it can't cart because the momentum of the cart pushing forward is too strong against the lizard creature, also the other cart behind her so she can't make an emergency stop unless she wants to risk of damaging her cart.
Suddenly a hero came from the audience, a knight jumping into traffic, and with luck on their side made it to the boy on the ground just in time, just as the lizard creature was about to run over the boy, the knight pounced and rolled him and the boy over the way from the lizard creature that just barely missed the boy and knight entirely.
However, with the extra momentum, the knight had to still roll over protecting the boy with his body. with each roll the knight rolled slower and slower before a complete halt... the knight then raised his fist in the air in triumph!
The pedestrian cries in cheers for the knight who saved the boy. While Subaru was still in his strange pose with the four ghosts looking at him funny.
"Subaru? What were you trying to do?" Hoshin looks at the boy with a very confused look.
"... I still looked cool at least?" Subaru said hoping that his ghost companion would complement his pose.
there was only the sound of pedestrians cheering for the knight walking to return the kid to his mother.

"*sniffel*" Subaru seemed disappointed about not saving that kid.
"I mean it's that thought that counts, right?" said Fourier trying to cheer up his pal.
Meanwhile, behind them were the three adults.
"*snivel* *snivel*" Flugel cries in a depressed state with Hoshin trying to cheer him up.
"There there, Flugel-Sama it is fine that your student wasn't able to save that boy using magic, you just only agreed to start checking him just that second." Hoshin uses logic to cheer him up.
"*snivel* But, he is my student. He was meant to save the day like my apprentice in when I taught her *snivel*." Flugel rebuttals Hoshin's argument.
The sword saint let out a disappointed sigh at the boy and the men she was sandwiched between.
"Hey boy are you interested in an appa?" said the appa vendor.
the boy stops his depressed state for a moment to look at the appa vendor.
he then looks at the appa, but only sees apple.
"These are apples." Subaru points at the apples
"Nope, these are appa, the fresh you can get. two copper coins each, a deal if you are asking me." appa vendor.
The boy only stares at the apple for a bit.
Then Hoshin joins in with Subaru on his looking at the apple...or appas
"The appas are regularly sold three for one copper coin, does he think we are an idiot." Hoshin said feeling like that appa vendor was a scammer for selling appa at a crazy markup.
However, did not listen to what the merchant master said.
"Sorry, but I am completely broke right now." Subaru said with pride in his voice.
Suddenly the appa vendor turned that smile into a frown.
"Then get out of here, I have no interest in window shoppers!" the appa sent his message to the poor boy who was honest with him.

Luckily there were no injuries, just a bit of ruffing, and scare for the poor boy.
after a bit of walking, the group was in a bathroom stall for men and women.
"Let have you wash upped for a bit. It will be ok." the Lugunica said to the boy he was comforting, but his hand sometimes phases inside him if he was not careful.
'Ah, this brings back memories. it was the time that Crusch dragged me to a female bathroom that one time and made me dress as a lady. This cheered Felix from his common cold.' Lugunica reminisces about the simpler time as a child and while spending time with his friends.
However unbeknownst to the two of them they walked into the girls' side of the bathroom.
The moment both the boys enter girls' side of the bathroom every female in that room stops what they are doing to look at the intruder.
In their eye, only a single boy has just entered the girls' side of the bathroom in shock. on the boys' side, they looked at the girls in shock, because they had mistaken that this was the boys' bathroom.
Then the Lugunica's eye widens in the realization of how much he messed up.
"AHHHH" "Pervert!" "Stalker!" these were all the various reactions of the female in the bathroom. But only one of the female is able to react in defense of the honour of the other females.
this cat girl screaming about the boy in the bathroom ran to the boy at the entrance, then swung her open paws to the boy's face!
"AAAHHHHHH"

It was in the real world only one voice called out in pain. but in another world, four additional voices call out in pain as the boy is slapped in the face.

After that incident that group tried to move from that, with the cheek still stinging from that slap.
as they were walking over a bridge the two legends on either side of the poor Subaru in the hope of defending him from the prince that made them feel the sting on their cheeks.
"Lugunica-San, I know you tried your best to cheer up Subaru-San, but going into the girls' bathroom should not be one of them." Hoshin said giving the "talk" with said Fourier.
"I wasn't as I was intended, honest! I just accidentally entered out of habit!" Lugunica held his hand up to defend himself. " I just remembered the times when a friend of mine, kept asking me for help to look more feminine for another friend of mine! so we often go to the women's side of the bathroom! Honest!" the prince said hopefully to restore his name.
Sadly, onlyTheresia believed him. The rest just looked at him with deadpan. They didn't believe him as they were walking.
"Don't worry, even when they don't believe you, I believe you Lugunica-sama!" Theresia said trying to cheer the prince up.
Sadly it didn't work. Lugunica before had barely standing while we as walking, now he slouches down while looking at the ground like it was a great thing to look at.
It lasted for a few seconds before a mysterious force began to drag Lugunica within a certain range of Subaru.
The moment the Lugunica becomes within the same distance as Theresia, the unprepared sword saint loses her footing and eats concrete as she failed to stay within a certain distance of Subaru, and then was also being dragged with treatment as the prince.
She was able to not have teeth grind on the ground by lifting her face, but sadly her dress was not saved from that treatment.
"Hey Subaru-san, I know that you are down with your luck, but you know something that would cheers us up?" said the Hoshin while pointing to Flugel as well.
"What?" Subaru said with the sting ok his cheek almost gone.
"Beer!" Flugel and Hoshin cheered in union, then pointed to the building with a salon door.
"I never had a beer before also, aren't you supposed to be twenty years old to drink?" Subaru asked the adult.
Flugel and Hoshin looked at each other like they could not believe what the boy just said.
"Don't worry about it! you just need an adult to prove you for a drink!" Said Hoshin patting Subaru's back with Flugel agreeing with what his pal said.
"If you said so." Subaru said trusting the adult with him. then walking to the building that the two men were pointing to. Once reaching his destination he stopped, and take a deep breath.
While this happens the sword saint is able to recover from being dragged and turns her attention to the prince back and thinks of another plan to cheer him up.
Once Subaru has his courage, he pushes the salon door, only be greeted with a building with only lizard people, different from the lizard creature pulling the cart. They were all staring at the boy that entered the building.
"Hi I am int-" Subaru tried to go in but was stopped with one of the lizard people stopping him.
"We only ssserve demi-human only, so Ssscram!" A lizard person pushed the boy out of the building.
Sadly it did not stop there, the boy tried his best to regain his footing be stumbling to the concrete rail. what he does notice that as he was stumbling his way to the concrete rails was a river that prevents carts and dumb people from falling over.
"Subaru!" Flugel and Hoshin called out to the boy in union to stop him from falling.
However, they were too late as Subaru suddenly tips over the concrete rails and fallen into the river below.
Flugel and Hoshin only looked in horror as the boy falls into the water.
No, they were not afraid of Subaru getting hurt falling into a river.

Once Subaru splashed into the water, suddenly every ghost companying was dragged into the air, only to be pulled into the river near where Subaru was splashed.
Both Lugunica and Theresia look very confused about why they are in the air. But Flugel and Hoshin know what will happen next.
Finally, gravity is setting and all the ghost companion falls into the river.

However, their splash is different because it has a transparent look to it when that ghost companion splashes the water.
With that the boy, the heroes and the prince begin to feel as if they were drowning. They tried to reach the surface to breathe fresh air, but they still as if they were drowning. Only once Subaru was able to resurface and take a breather was when the drowning feeling stopped.
Once they made it out everyone was drenched in water, then a sudden wind blew on Subaru

Everyone is in the dark alleyway away from anything that could harm the poor boy that was transported into this world.
Everyone I dried thanks to Subaru's choice of clothing that enabled him to dry faster, with Subaru dried the ghost quickly followed after. The one that was hurt the most was Subaru's pride as an Isekaier.
"Well, I have to say that this is one exciting day of the day am I right?" Theresia tries her best to brighten the mood.
Everyone's mood seems to be still down, as the sage, the merchantman, and the ex-prince seem down in their luck.
Subaru cries out in frustration.
"Damn it! why is this happening to me?! I was summoned into another world and this is the treatment I get!" he said crying out to the heaven.
"I mean it to be expected for people that have no wealth, connection, or anything at all. But to be treated this bad, I would never expect people would live like this." Lugunica said regretting that he didn't do more to improve the living condition of the citizens of Lugunica when he was alive.
"Subaru-San I know that very late to ask but do you by chance have anything on you that you could sell?" Hoshin said with hope in his eyes.
The once depressed men and boy looked at the boy with hopeful eyes to the boy in front of them.
Opened the bag that he had on him the entire time. he pulls out a Miso Natton Noodle in a cup, and Cornpotage chips from his bag.
Everyone looks at the two Items with confused looks.
"Are these two Items worth anything?" Subaru said with a hopeful look at the merchantman.
"What are these Items?" Hoshin wanted information that could be of use.
"This one right here is Noodle cup, you can eat a ready mean by pouring the packet and hot water to cook it. after waiting for a ten minutes, you get a ready-made meal in the photo here!" Subaru point at the photo on the cup.
"And this Cornpotage chips is a chip that tastes like corn!"
After that explanation merchantman looks very disappointed at the item before him before letting out a sigh.
"Sorry Subaru-san I think at best we might be able to get three silver coins at most out of all this." Hoshin said with a defeated look point at the two Items. Flugel also has that same look.
"One silver coin for the chip bag, and two silver coin for the noodle cup"
Lugunica and Theresia, looked very confused of why they looked so defeated. so Fourier tapped on the merchant's shoulder.
"I am confused why is that a bad thing?" Fourier asked the Hoshin.
"Because if we were to sell this in the best case scenario we would get only three silver coin " Hoshin showing his the three finger in the air.
"A week in a cheap inn is around five copper coin but that without meal being provided, since you are the Prince I think you know how our cost will result in." Hoshin said to the prince.
"One silver coin equals twenty copper coin. if we where to rent a room to sleep in we would only have twelve weeks worth of living space or four months." with that realization that dawned on the prince he realized the situation that everyone is in. the same goes with the sword saint as well.
"But that with ony for living space, you did not count the food and miscellaneous stuff we need to entertain ourselves. if counting that, we have at least two weeks' worth of coins wrapped into the two Items we have here. And that is the best-case scenario, realistically we would probably get one silver coin." Hoshin said pointing at the two items.
This dampens the mood even further making Lugunica and Theresia realize that what situation they were talking about is the best-case scenario.
The Lugunica looked at Subaru with looked at him with hopeful puppy doll eye hoping there was more that Subaru had brought.
Subaru obliged, he rummaged through his jacket and running pants for anything to sell. Until he was able to grab his hold cellphone.
"How this? is this worth anything?" Lugunica was the first to inform merchantmen about this new development.
Hoshin looks up from his defeated looks, then when he makes eye contact with the Subaru phone. The light seems to return back to him.
"Is that a Meteors? " Hoshin seeing such a beautiful device in from of him.
"Don't you mean Metia" Lugunica tries to correct the merchantman.
"What is a Meteors or metia or whatever?" Ask subaru.
Hoshin opens to explain what a Meteors is, but he was beaten by Fourier
"A metia the term for any utensil allowing the use of magic to those whoseGatesare non-functional for some reason. The form and usage of Metia vary greatly. Using - " Lugunica explain his rant before being cut off by the Hoshin in question.
"It a device that allows non-magic users use magic by using a device a medium." Hoshin simplifies what the prince is trying to say with a smug on his face.
Lugunica is a pouting face because his chance to be redeemed has been ruined. but Hoshin doesn't mind it and turns back to the boy with a flip phone.
"Still please tell me that object does something without magic. " Hoshin wants to confirm that is not just an expensive paper holder.
"This Flip phone can do many things. Like play music" Subaru plays a ringtone from his device. This is amazed by the entire ghost companion.
"Able to store moment with a simple flash. Theresia comes here!" Subaru calls out to Theresia while opening the camera app.
Theresia stands beside Subaru then suddenly a flash of light appears. This dazed her as she was blinded temporarily.
but in the phone, it only took Subaru as clear as it could get, and a red top and green and white blob beside him.
"That's creepy" Subaru commented seeing the photo showing the ghost that he captured in the phone. but showed the photo to the group regardless.
"And if you have a duplicate you could also talk to other people at a distance!" Finally ending in presentation by pointing at the phone with the call list showing a bunch of symbols the ghosts except for Hoshin and Flugel can understand.
"One top of a Time preserver, a Music Metia, It has the function of a Conversing Mirror as well?" asked Lugunica with the prince raising his hand like a student.
"I don't know what what anything you said means but I will assume it the same so yes." Subaru looks confused but just accepts what the prince said.
The merchantman begins to put his merchant brain to work and think of the value of the information that was given to him. After a bit of time waiting the Merchantman smiled with the biggest grin on his face.
"Fifty holy coins would be a reasonable selling price, with probably eighty being the highest!" Hoshin said giving the number he had reached.
This brings joy to all the ghosts in the alleyway. They found a way to not starve! however, it seem that subaru sad that the most expensive one that he can sell was the one that held the memory of everything he was.
"Don't worry about it! even if we were to get a lower estimate offer, at minimum we would get at least twenty holy coins." Hoshin comfort the boy looking at his phone.
He stares at the phone he has on his hand for a bit ' So the choice is between keeping it as a memento and struggling with the risk of dying' looking at the phone with a smile before looking at the ghost doing some kind of dance ' or selling it for a new start in a new world.'
"Nice sell on the Metia, we will be taking that Metia from you right now." A new voice came from the other side of the alleyway.
This made every ghost and Subaru turn to the persons to reveal a twig person with a metal collar on his neck and as a vibe that wanted to shank him, to his left A tall chubby that seem to lived in the hood, and to his right A small midget.
"You will not be taking our one source for life!" Flugel Cries to the three potential thieves. running to them for a weak punch.
Sadly it does nothing as the ghost phases through the twig thieves. but with the remaining momentum the sage stumbles as he loses his footing but can catch himself for a bit with a one-legged hop three times before he falls.
"Did you feel something" The twig guy felt a presence, before ignoring that feeling looking at the boy
"You don't happen to have any combat experience would you?" Lugunica asked Subaru with a worried look on her face.
"Nope" Subaru said with a pop on the "p" " The Immediate response was Fourier seem paler now.
"Boy do you think you have a choice, Give us that Metia now or we will beat it out of you." the twig guy now threatened the boy after walking a few step toward him.
"YA YA, Give us the Metia and you will not be hurt." the midget repeated what the twig guy said also standing by his buddy.
The big guy silently, yet intimidating walks beside the twig guy.
the most ghosts seem to panic as the boy they were with is about to get rob of their only lifeline in their ghost life.
However, Theresia is seen to be cool and collected analyzing the potential attack Subaru could do and counterattack that the thievery might bring.
"Subaru, walk towards the twig guy, and take him out with a uppercut, and with the short person beside him do a roundabout kick. retreat after that." Theresia gives out the order to the boy in question.
"Alright." Subaru then execute Theresia's order and walks to the twig guy.
"See, now is that so hard." the twig guy let his guard down assuming that the boy has given up.
Subaru walked until the twig person was in front of him then he stopped.
"Subaru Punch!" the does a uppercut that punches the twig person in the chin. They were sent flying in the air, putting the two thieves in shock.
"Subaru Kick!" then Subaru does the roundabout kick against the midget, this knocks out his air and with the remaining momentum shoots him to the wall, which then knocks him out as a bit of blood on the head appears.
Then with all that Subaru backtack near the location he once stood looking serious at the big man in front of him.
"Wow! I did not know I would hit that hard." Subaru looked surprised about the result of his action.
"That my Boy!" Flugel praises the student who just knock out the two thieves of the three in one fell swoop.
"You bastard!" the big guy then goes run to the boy that took out his two buddies.
While the sword saint did not instruct what to do next. Subaru was able to take the initiative and Subaru dodged the punch, then counterattacked with another punch to the face.
This cause the big guy to be dazed for a bit as he stubble to the area Subaru was standing, while Subaru uses that momentum to position himself beside the unconscious twig man.
"Subaru! The twig guy has the two knives on both sides of this waist!" Flugel relaying Subaru of the information.
"Thank." Subaru said to Flugel.
With the big guy in a daze, Subaru took the chance to reach first guy that he knocked out and was able to get the knife that the twig guy had on him.
The big guy was able to recover but when he sees the boy again, he sees that he now has his friend's knife on his hand. Now the boy is armed with a weapon now.
"Look big guy, I know that you want my Metia, But I now have the upper hand right now." showing the knife in his hand and the unconscious buddy to his side.
Then Subaru takes a few steps back away from his two buddies.
"If you want to save your friends, I recommend giving up now and getting away from here now." Subaru said pointing one of the knives toward him.
The big guy bare his teeth, but then runs to his buddy and grabbed them one on each arm before running away through the other alleyway entrance.
"YOU DID IT MY BOY, YOU DID IT!" Flugel cheers in celebration of defeating against a three-on-one.
Hoshin and Lugunica then Jump in joy that Subaru was able to routed the thieves, then the Sword saint looked at the boy with pride at what he had accomplished, before approaching him.
"Not bad for a first time in combat." Theresia rests a hand on his shoulder only to dropped alittle further than she like, but then she adjust to where Subaru's shoulder is and let it hover there.
Then there was a clapping sound from the same alleyway the thiefs had entered. Subaru raised his knife at the sound, but when he turned his head, he saw. a female version of the ex-prince, but less prince or in this case princess looking and while wearing something that lack cover with a red scarf and black strapped on her chest area.
"Why is a princess of Lugunica here? Did the Plague not happen in this world, or did we go back in time?" said the ex-prince looking very confused at the princess here.
Hearing the ex-prince comment with the small girl in front of Subaru lowers his guard. Not only that the Merchantman beam his eye on the little Nobel girl from the prince's comment
"Quick Subaru-san! Make a trade with Miss Lugunica!" Hoshin asks the boy to do his bidding.
"Hoshin-San! Do you have no shame!" Theresia reprimand the Merchantman.
"I know it is shameful, but must get as much funding as we can get. If Lugunica-San was correct, then we must get as much as we can get." Hoshin defended his reason for trying to get the once of an opportunity they would get.
While the merchant and sword saint argue, the Sage and ex-prince watch how the boy will react to this situation.
"I have to admit Onii-chan, you seem the handle the three like nobody's business. Still though what is it do you have that makes you want to risk your life for it?" the golden-haired princess asked looking very curious look.
"Sure." He said pulling out his Flip phone. "It is this Metia, it is capable of taking a moment using a flash." then he demonstrates the phone with a flash to the golden loli.
"Hey what are you trying to -" The golden princess go defensive but was cut off as Subaru was able to show that indeed the princess was captured in the small device.
"Is able to play music, Listen." Then his plays a regular phone ringtone. this impresses the princess further on her interest in the small device.
"And if you have a duplicate, you will be able to call others." Subaru then finally concluded his sell pitch to the golden-haired princess.
Soon the golden-haired princess begins to have her thought process on about what to do. then she has "ah ha" moment.
"Onii-chan, if you would give me the Metia I would be able to sell to the highest bidder and you would be able get a cut of the deal. What do you say?" Golden-haired princess.
"Deal." Subaru then gives the flip phone without a question. the golden-haired princess. seemed to be surprised by this, that she needed a few seconds before she recovered.
"Thanks, Onii-chan wait right here as I get my guy to sell this Metia off. Live strong!" Golden hair Princess said as she jumped building from a building.
"Yes! we will be so rich!" Subaru said celebrating of the moment He and that small princess had made the deal.
"Did you get the Holy coin?!" Hoshin stopped arguing with the sword saint and turned his attention to the boy who made the deal.
"Yes! She said that she would come back here with the money once the Item is sold" Subaru said being proud of himself.
This made the merchant give looked very confused look at the boy.
"O.. K? Did she make a contract or the date or location of where we will get our coin?" the merchant said with worry in his voice.
Subaru did not respond for a few seconds remembering what she said... before worry then grew on his face as well.
"Please don't tell me that you just gave her the Meteors when she said she would ask to sell that item with the person that will sell that Meteors." Hoshin said with such Dred in his voice.
"Stop thief!" a voice coming from the alleyway the thief, and the golden "princess" had entered.
This made the boy, the merchant, the sage, the ex-prince, and the sword saint blood turn cold as they have connected the dots about what just happened as the sword saint and merchant were arguing.
The golden hair "Princess" was not a princess, She was a thief... and she just stole their most prized possession.
But that did not stop them from turning to the voice that helped them reach that conclusion.
Right, there is a sliver-haired girl with purple eyes, wearing a white and purple dress in intricate designs. This made Subaru and the sage's heart skip a beat.
"Stop right there thief!" she said pointing at the people in the alleyway.

Tomdachy: Thank you for your theory, but sadly that can't happen after for this and any other chapter for a while. Also, I just posted how the re: zero HeadMate would go so don't expect Shinanigan much between the heroes and the real world for a while. But I can validate that if god allows the hero to be seen, heard, and interact with the real world only god can tell what will happen next in the story. but I don't think you might be that far off...
Dear god whole cast's reaction that the boy backing Emilia is the former prince, the sword saint, and the legendary merchantman inside the mind of the boy. As for Subaru and Flugel as being separate being, I will figure that out later.. I just waiting for my mind to tell me how this will be explained.
