With the crisis over, and Sailors Uranus and Neptune having left, the Brawlers took stock of their situation. "So without that crystal, you're stuck here?", Lita asked.

"That would seem to be the case.", Ren answered her. "The Neathia crystal was the only thing linking our two worlds. The link was broken in the past when the Neathian Princess broke it in two and sent the pieces to both planets. But this time, there isn't even enough fragments of any sufficient size to reconstruct it."

"Meaning that we've no way home.", Fabia sighed. "Well, it's not all bad. At the very least, the Gundalians won't have a way to penetrate the DNA barrier. As long as it holds, the war is stuck at a stalemate."

"But that won't help the kids the Gundalians captured get home.", Marucho pointed out, sadly. "Or free Bakugan Interspace from their control?"

"Bakugan Interspace? What's that?", Sailor Mercury asked.

"It's a place where humans and Bakugan can live and battle together freely.", Jake answered. "But right now, it's a far, for the Gundalians to kidnap kids from Earth to fight in their war."

Dan was angered at this reminder. "Drago, can't you try and open a portal to get us home?"

"Well I've never tried teleporting to Neathia before.", Drago admitted. "But I suppose I've accumulated enough power to try it."

Drago then began to glow with energy, with a portal appearing in front of everybody. But it closed just as quickly, without getting anywhere near big enough for anyone to enter it. "It didn't work.", Fabia lamented.

"I guess you guys are stuck here for a while.", Jupiter noted.

"Come on.", Venus added as she transformed back to normal. "We'll show you some of the sights."

The Brawlers all looked nervous at this. "Come on, you're not doing anything else, are you?", Raye asked cheekily.

All of them sighed. "I guess we could do to get accustomed to this place.", Shun said, in a "matter of fact" tone.

And so, the Brawlers spent time with the Sailor Scouts in their civilian identities, sharing interests. Mina took Fabia to the arcade, where the Neathian Princess struggled to get the hang of the video games. Shin visited Raye's temple, helping her in greeting visitors dressed in the garb of an assistant. Marucho and Ren decided to share some of their computing knowledge with Amy to help her studies along. Lita tried to teach Jake some of her ikebana and cooking techniques, with somewhat predictable results. It would take a few days afterward for the mess to be cleaned up. Finally, Dan joined Serena and Rini on one of their shopping trips, with Darien tagging along to help him carry the bags. "So, how are you guys going to fend for yourselves here?", Darien asked. "You don't have any identification or finances."

"I'm sure we can think of something.", Dan answered. "Some of us could get part time jobs. Heck, this is giving me training to be a courier."

"I'm sure that would be an amusing sight." Everyone stopped as a green-haired figure in a Sailor suit, holding a heart shaped staff, appeared in front of them. "But sadly, one I'll be denied of."

"Sailor Pluto!", Serena and Rini said in unison.

"What are you doing here?", Darien asked.

"I'm here to help our young ally here.", Sailor Pluto answered, indicating Dan. "And his friends. So I suggest you gather them all up, because you're going back to where you should be."

Within an hour, both groups of heroes from different worlds gathered back at the square. "I don't know what's so I portent, but I imagine our new friend here is important."

"I am Sailor Pluto, guardian of time and space.", the woman introduced herself. "Normally, I cannot interfere with the lives of people or events within the space time continuum. But you on the other hand, hail from another universe, with its own flow of time."

"What does that mean, lady?", Shun's Bakugan partner Hawktor asked.

Jake's partner Coredem answered. "It means that for us, she can bend the rules."

"And send us straight back home, right?" Akwimos, Marucho's partner, asked.

"You are correct.", Sailor Pluto answered. "I could alter time around you to a point when the link between our two worlds was active. Then by merging the powers of all 5 Scouts, a portal could be opened to return you to Neathia."

"I sense a 'but' coming.", Linehalt commented, weary of what could happen.

"In order to do this, I'll need to have access to energies from all of three worlds in which the Bakugan claim home. Drago, Linehalt, I have it on good authority that you can assist me there."

Drago popped out. "It's true. I have both the Perfect Core of New Vestroia and the Element from Neathia, while Linehalt possesses the Forbidden Power of Gundalia."

"But how can we share them with you?", Linehalt asked as he and Drago began to glow. "Hey, what the-?"

"It seems thinking about lending your energies was enough to make it happen.", Ren noted. "Now we see what step two is."

The energies flowed into Pluto's staff, which she lifted up. "Oh great god of time, turn back this small area half the length of a full hour." The surrounding buildings glowed with a rainbow aura, as they began to distort and spin anti-clockwise, before stopping. "There, we're ready for the second stage. I need the energies of the Sailor Scouts to ensure that this time warp will be undone once its purpose has been fulfilled. Otherwise our reality will tear itself apart."

"Wait a minute.", Serena realised. "If we do this, then the Brawlers will be sent right back to their world, right?"

"Indeed.", Sailor Pluto nodded. "What of it?"

"Well if they're just going to leave," Mina took over, "then we should at least get to say goodbye."

"Come on, would it really kill us to have a brief farewell?", Dan joined in the pleading. "We're not in that much of a hurry, are we?"

Pluto thought for a few seconds, before answering. "I can only hold space-time in this state for 5 minutes before it collapses. So make your farewells quickly, and then the girls should transfer me their energy."

Taking her advice, Dan and the other Brawlers made their farewells to the 5 Sailors.

Jake was the first to say something. "So Jupes, do you want to do this again sometime?"

"First of all, don't call me "Jupes".", was the reply she gave him. "Second of all, working with you would be something I'd like to avoid in future and in past, unless absolutely necessary."

Then Marucho said his goodbye to Mercury. "Amy, you're one of the few people I've met in 3 universes that I could consider an equal in strategic thinking. It's been a pleasure to meet another intellectual."

"The feeling's mutual.", the bluenette replied. "That's saying something, considering I'm officially the smartest person in the district."

Fabia was next, choosing to talk to Sailor Venus. "Mina, I'm sorry about what happened to that Splight you partnered with. He seemed like a good soldier."

"Yeah I know.", Mina responded. "But it's not too big a deal. We didn't know each other for too long. Besides, the last thing he said to me was some good advice. "Try to live life to its fullest, never thinking twice until after you've done something." That's something I'll take with me for a long time."

Finally, Dan said his goodbyes. "Raye, you may be a rookie at brawling, but you've got potential. I could teach you."

"Thanks.", Raye replied. "But I'm probably gonna stick to what I know for now."

Dan then turned to Usagi. "I've gotta admit, you guys are pretty good fighters, but feel free to give us a call if you need us.", he said in a teasing tone.

"Thanks for that.", she said. "And I'd keep an eye on Fabia. I think she fancies you."

As the four waved off their friends to rejoin Ren and Shun (who hadn't joined in the goodbyes, preferring to keep things professional), Dan went up to Fabia and whispered. "It's nice to see that you care for me, but I have a girlfriend back home." As he continued walking, Fabia briefly stood there, shocked, before continuing on.

The girls then proceeded to transform. "Moon Cosmic Power!"

"Mercury Star Power!"

"Mars Star Power!"

"Jupiter Star Power!"

"Venus Star Power!"

The transformations completed, the Sailor Scouts then performed their combined technique. "Sailor Planet Power!"

The energy was diverted to Sailor Pluto, who pointed her rod to open a portal. "Now the way home is open. Lead your allies back to their battle.", she stated.

"Okay.", the voice of Dragonoid Colossus echoed in her mind, as his spectral form materialised around the Brawlers, carrying them through to the other side, as the portal closed and space-time reverted to normal.

"What was that dragon?", Lita asked.

"Something tells me that it's something even Dan and Fabia don't know the true nature behind.", Amy answered as Sailor Pluto vanished as quickly as she came. "Now come on, I should make sure that any remaining Phantom Data in this world gets deleted before it can be misused."

"Can you do that?", Raye asked.

"Ren provided us with the deletion code.", Mina answered. "It shouldn't be too hard for Amy to upload it to the Worldwide Web. And then things can get back to normal."

"Or as normal as they get around here.", Serena commented.

Back at the mansion where the Death Busters were based, Eugeal staggered out of the Sovereign's room and into her laboratory. Her cohort, Mimet, was standing their with a smile on her face. "The big attack didn't go so well, huh Eugeal?"

The redhead was not willing to discuss it. "Let's just say that the Professor didn't make sure those do-gooders stayed on course to destroy each other. Not to mention that the General turned out to be a fugitive from the guy he SUPPOSEDLY worked for. And he would have destroyed the city if the boy Kuso's friends hadn't showed up."

"Oh dear.", was the only response she got from Mimet. And it wasn't very sincere. "This isn't going to look good on your permanent record."

Not willing to talk any more, Eugeal walked out, slamming the door. "Just you wait. The minute I get a strong lead, I will get those three pure treasures. And then I will use the Purity Chalice to conquer the world!"

Over on Gundalia, Barodius returned, exhausted from his ordeal, to be greeted by Gil and Kazarina. "Sire, what happened out there?", Kazarina asked.

"The Brawlers and their new allies.", Barodius growled. "They destroyed the crystal before I could tap into its full power. And it's more than likely any advantage we could gain from the alternate Earth is lost."

"But we did manage to dispose of the traitor Vladimir and his ilk.", Gil pointed out.

Barodius wasn't in the mood to celebrate that small victory. "Focus all your efforts on destroying the third shield. It's the only thing standing between me and the ultimate prize. I will control all the Bakugan, no I must." He then retreated into his private room, the door slamming behind him.

And at Neathia, the Bakugan Brawlers reappeared within the Capitol. "We're back.", Dan stated.

"That much was obvious.", Shun commented.

"There seemed to be some kind of dragon ferrying us across dimensions.", Fabia noted. "I'm sure I've heard a legend about something like that." She recalled an old fairy story about the guardian of the Sacred Orb.

"Eh, I'm sure we'll never find out what it was.", Ren said, nobody noticing that Dan's Bakumeter was glowing.

The matter then turned to the three Bakugan from Gundalia, all of whom had been in Ren's care since the battle had ended. "So what are you guys gonna do now?", asked Hawktor.

"Well we can't exactly go back to Gundalia.", Helios replied.

"Not after they've seen us helping you humans.", Farakspin added.

"Which is why we've decided to come over to your side.", Wilda concluded. "Only out of necessity, of course."

"That's good for you.", Aranaut informed them. "If you tried to leave through the shield, you wouldn't be able to. There's a DNA barrier that rejects any Gundalian DNA. You'd be stopped easily if you tried to go back."

"And as long as the Gundalians can't penetrate it, we'll be safe.", Drago added.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Professor Galloway had survived Sailor Moon's attempt to kill him. However, the feedback had left him with damage to his body and his clothes, leaving him looking very much like the victim of a nuclear fallout. His three Bakugan had also been fused into a hybrid of Ventus, Aquos and Haos. As he regained consciousness, he heard a voice talking about "running out" at the end of the warp gate, which he promptly exited. On the other side, he was in a dark room, with a few butterflies flapping around. A man in a white suit with a silver waistcoat, grey hair and glasses, accompanied by some lepidopterra-esque small creature, were there to greet him.. Disorientated from the warp, he asked the first two things that came to mind. "What happened? What planet is this?"

The figure replied, in a defiant tone "You're on Earth, in my secret hideout. You came here after you fell out of that portal." Then he asked a question of his own. "I am Hawk Moth, who are you?"

Deciding that this man could help him, Galloway obliged him. "My name is Galloway. I come from a planet called Gundalia. I ended up here after I fled through the dimensional portal to escape my enemy. But there was an error in the system. I don't know how long I've been in that portal." This slight romanticism was to garner sympathy. Then he made his offer. "I can sense you're currently facing a little problem of your own. Perhaps we could combine our resources and help each other.

The man called Hawk Moth was quick to reply. "If that's your idea, then welcome to my team, Galloway." Good. This one would be easier to play than Galloway. The Brawlers wouldn't know what hit them once he was ready to make his return.
