INT. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CLASSROOM - DAY
The camera pans across a group of children sitting at their desks, before landing on our familiar EDDSWORLD characters, now aged down to elementary school students. There's TORD, the Norwegian transfer student who's still learning English; MATT, the big goofball with a loving heart; EDD, the energetic extrovert with a passion for creating superhero comics; and TOM, the youngest one, who's always happy and nice, with his trusty teddy bear, Tommee Bear.
TEACHER: (writing on the blackboard) Okay, class, today we're going to learn about fractions.
TORD: (stumbling over his words) F-f-fractions?
MATT: (helpfully) Don't worry, Tord, I'll help you out.
EDD: (excitedly) Ooh, I love math! It's like solving puzzles!
TOM: (eagerly) Can we do a fraction game, teacher? Pleeease?
TEACHER: (smiling) Of course, Tom. Why don't you come up with a problem for the class to solve?
TOM: (thinking) Um... okay... (counting on his fingers) If I have 10 cookies, and I want to share them equally among 5 people, how many cookies will each person get?
TORD: (confused) Cookies? Kjeks? Ja, ja, jeg elsker kjeks!
MATT: (chuckling) That's close enough, Tord. But let's stick to English in class, okay?
EDD: (helpfully) So, if there are 10 cookies and 5 people, we need to divide 10 into 5 equal parts.
TORD: (struggling) D-divide? Dele opp?
EDD: (patiently) Yes, exactly! So, what's 10 divided by 5?
TORD: (thinking hard) Hmm... ti... elle... fire... fem... seks... sju... åtte... ni... tjue!
MATT: (correcting him) Wait, wait, Tord. Let's take it slow. Ten divided by five is two
TORD: (disappointed) Åh, jeg er så dum!
EDD: (encouragingly) Don't worry, Tord. Math takes practice. And remember, you're already fluent in Norwegian!
TORD: (smiling) Takk, Edd. Du er en god venn.
As the lesson continues, Tord struggles to keep up with the English instructions, frequently asking his classmates for help. However, he perseveres, determined to improve his language skills and fit in with his new friends.
Later that day, during recess, the EDDSWORLD gang plays a game of tag. Tord joins in, laughing and shouting in Norwegian as he chases after his friends.
TORD: (excitedly) Komme på deg, Ed! Du er ikke rask nok!
EDD: (giggling) No way, Tord! I'm too fast for you!
MATT: (playfully) Come on, guys! Let's catch those bad guys!
TOM: (shrieking happily) This is so much fun!
As the bell rings, signaling the end of recess, the EDDSWORLD gang walks back to their classroom, arm in arm. Despite their differences, they've formed a strong bond, supporting each other through thick and thin.
