Author's Note: I had this up previously and decided to change it up and start it over again. And try to fix the ending
Chicago Illinois
"I promise, I will be fine. Don't worry so much, Severide." Ellie Scott commented as the leader of the rescue squad walked her up the walkway to the townhouse that she had purchased from his best friend Matt Casey who was living next door. "It's going to give you more gray hair." Libby Reagan, his girlfriend who was trailing behind them carrying Ellie's bag laughed, "She isn't wrong babe, you are already pretty gray."
Kelly Severide rolled his eyes and took the keys from Ellie to unlock the door. The girl had taken a fall at a scene and tweaked her back and Chief Boden ordered her to go home.
"It was a hard hit, Ell. We heard it from where we were at." He finally said he had felt the floor shake from where he was with Vargas and Capp. 'Trust me Sev, I have taken harder hits than that." Ellie paused when she saw a familiar black car sitting in her small driveway. "I am almost afraid to ask." He retorted following her gaze.
"Don't worry about it, it's probably just a neighbor across the street who knew I wasn't going to be home for a while. I don't mind it. Y'all better go back to the firehouse before Boden thinks I kidnapped ya." She held her hand out for her bags.
The last thing that she wanted was to have them meet Dean Winchester, who had broken into her house and broken her heart one too many times. Who was also fiercely overprotective of her. And who even though he was absent a lot of the time earned the ire of her Station 51 family for those moments when he broke her heart.
Kelly unlocked the door and pushed it open for her, "Call us if you need anything, Ell, I mean it." "Yes sir." She sassed giving him a two-finger salute before stepping into the house and turning on the lights.
Libby put the bags down next to where Ellie was toeing off her shoes, her eyes catching sight of Dean who stuck his head outside of the kitchen doorway. Ellie followed her glance and smirked before meeting her eyes and shaking her head no. "Be safe, Ell, we will check in on you later."
'You too.' She replied watching as her friends returned back to the rescue truck that was parked in front of her house. Waiting until they were in the truck before she shut the door and twisted the lock.
Dean was on her before she had a chance to react, his mouth crashing against hers, his hands pulling at her dark blue paramedic shirt to pull it off of her. "Dean, love, stop." She whimpered as he bit her lower lip, and succeeded in finally getting the shirt off of her.
"God." He groaned, "I missed you."
"I missed you too, but what are you doing here?" She asked as he started undoing the black belt that she had on, "You normally just call for phone sex."
He shook his head not wanting to answer her questions right away, bringing up John and his missing and how he needed her help with getting Sam to help him would ruin it, "Dean." Her hand grabbed a hold of his wrist to stop him, "What are you doing here?"
"Can't I just come and see you?" He questioned, frustrated, all he wanted at that moment was to be with her and in her and not worry about anything else. Not his dad missing, not his sister disappearing off of the face of the planet. Not talking to Sam for two years. Not a damn thing.
He just wanted to be with her.
She cupped his jaw in her hands and fused their mouths again. 'Bedroom is through there." She muttered against his mouth. He of course already knew that, having looked through all the rooms in the house before she returned home. His hands went to her ass and cupped it before lifting her and carrying her into her bedroom.
"Careful babe," She winced when her back hit the front of her bedroom door, "I had a bad fall earlier.'
He paused, green eyes studying her.
"Guy knocked into me and I went down." She supplied using the hand that wasn't grasping his shoulder, to push the door open, "Jarred my whole back."
"What the fuck have you been doing Ellie?" He asked, that sudden need failing momentarily.
'I am a paramedic in training, it helps pay the bills between that and the strip club. I don't have to touch my parents' life insurance money."
The word strip club stuck out in his head and his mouth curved into a delicious smirk.
For her and Sam's 18th birthdays, which were within days of each other, he had taken them to a strip club using fake IDs.
Though he didn't pay any sort of attention to the girls in front of him, his attention kept going back towards his brother and his girl. His girl, a thought he hadn't in awhile. He dropped her onto her plush bed and he took a step back and removed his layers of shirts.
"Strip club?" he repeated. "Mhmm, a bartender on weekdays, a dancer on the weekends." Ellie returned as she worked on undoing her belt and uniform pants, "Remember Starla?"
Starla was the name of the dancer who was with them, mostly paying attention to Ellie and Dean. While Sam was with Bettie. A dark-haired woman who had an uncanny appearance to Bettie Page.
"Mhmm." He returned watching as she wiggled her hips to get the pants off.
He had hated himself for leaving her for almost 2 years without much contact for anything but phone sex, but it was a lot of guilt he had carried for getting her pregnant and for requiring two back-to-back surgeries on her back. And for leaving her while she recovered and mourned the loss of their child. "She owns the club that I work at. Neverland. She remembered us."
Dean raised his eyebrow at her as he hooked his thick fingers into the band of his boxers to push them off.
"Mmm.' She returned rubbing her lips together and pressing her knees together so he wouldn't see the pool of arousal gathering."Remembered how you couldn't keep your hands to yourself."
"Can you blame me?" His voice grew husky as he knelt on the end of the bed, his hands going to her knees to pull them open.
"So beautiful, so shy." She was shy when it first came to opening herself up about being with someone else other than Dean or Sam.
"I see that pretty blush all the time.' He trailed his thick fingers over her thong. Unable to stop it, the blush covered her cheek again and she bit her lip and turned her burning cheeks away.
Dean clicked his tongue in annoyance at her. "Look at me, pretty girl." He demanded.
Turning her head, she met his eyes and offered him a small smile.
He moved to where he was hovering over her, his lips finding hers. Normally he would have gone down on her and driven her crazy, begging him to let her have her release but at that point, he just needed to be inside of her.
Everything else could wait.
"What's going on babe? Why are you here? You have never missed me that much." Ellie asked propping her head up on the palm of her hand, her hazel eyes studying him.
Dean knew she was right, "Dad has been on a hunting trip and hasn't been home in a few days." He finally answered, knowing that she would understand, her father and uncle set up similar sayings.
"Are you sure he isn't locked up in that god-awful cabin with Jim, Jack, and Jose?'
Dean nodded his head, "I need your help babe." Ellie rolled to her back pulling the blanket with her and looked up at the ceiling, "Why? John hates me. Thinks I am not good enough for you and that I shouldn't be hunting."
However after her injury, she knew that he was right, she had no right being on hunts, she had barely started getting her toes wet with hunting the demons that were in Chicago, and it felt like riding a bike.
"I don't give a damn what my father thinks about you and I being together. I am worried about him missing. You and Sammy are the best I know with finding people."
"Have you even talked to Sam since he has been at school?" She asked, not wanting to talk about going with him to find John or even to see Sam.
The answering scoff as he fell back onto the pillows and his arm snaking around her shoulders to pull her to him was answer enough, "Have you?"
"I tried once, I went out there to see him with Gabby, Shay, and Libby. He acted like he didn't know me." She curled into his side and nuzzled into his neck, "Kind of broke my heart.'
That betrayal was almost as bad as the one from Dean. She had loved both Winchester brothers deeply, and each one of them acting like they didn't love her or even know her stung. It took her days and an outing with Libby and Kelly to get back to normal. Even now she didn't want to talk about Sam. Her friends at the firehouse understood and didn't push her to talk about it.
Heaving a heavy sigh, she pressed her lips against his neck, "I will call Gabby's brother Antonio in the morning, he has some FBI contacts and they can put some feelers out for John." Dean's hand that slid down her back to her hip squeezed it tightly in thanks. "I want you to come with me to look for him, and to get Sam."
Ellie felt her heart sink into her stomach, the last thing she ever wanted to do was see Sam Winchester face to face. But she knew that she could never say no to Dean Winchester and this was going to be no different.
'Fine, let me talk to Boden in the morning and see if he can get me some time off approved." She sighed, "But after we find your dad, I am going to come back here, I have a job, and life here."
