To be fair, he's right. I've unfortunately known a lot of Nazis, and punishing them for expressing their views, distasteful as they may be, rarely discourages them for long. If anything, it mostly just gives them persecution complexes and makes them double down on their views. In my experience, the best way to stop the Nazis is to actually point out and explain to them why their ideas are wrong and stupid.
