A/N: This was written on the same day as the last two prompts. Shoutout to elprovchico for helping out as always!

Without further ado, let's move on to the reviews and what matters most: the prompt!

Pretty much sums up what happened XD

If you're referring to the SatAM prompt, I don't think Sally would feel too different one way or the other.

Jenaku

Absolutely! It's especially stressful for someone like Mr. Stewart, because he's in a position where he can warn people, but the people he's trying to warn won't listen to him. It must be even worse for someone like Chris.

Super duper waffles

1. While Superior doesn't have its own soldier format, it does have volunteers from GUN Division Delta along with its guards.

2. The games use levels based on the descriptions that Sonic and his friends gave of Mobius in various interviews, and yes, Chaos, Shadow, and Emerl appear as bosses, along with several different fights with Eggman based on the robots he sent out. However, the game received mixed criticism; while it played very well and had a compelling story, others thought it happened too soon since the events just happened, and it could be seen as disrespectful to those who suffered trauma from Eggman and everything that happened on Earth. That didn't stop it from selling millions of copies though.

3a. Starship Soft once lost a lot of stock for making what was seen as a bad purchase of a smaller company. However, Chuck stepped in and helped Nelson get the company back under control.

3b. Silver Valley was finally made into a state park during the six-year time skip after Sonic left.

3c. Tingalin Villa is known for having some of the biggest corn mazes in California. However, they didn't have one in 2021 because the crops were badly damaged by E-35 Fujita.

3d. Shortly after Sonic returned to Mobius, Station Square realized the importance of the S-Team and restored it in full, and everyone got their old jobs back except for Hector Dragg, who had been sent to Mobius along with the rest of the Society. Sam Speed still has yet to fill the hole that Dragg left behind.

4. GUN has indeed become more popular globally during the timeskip, and they have been kept busy looking for more people who would follow in the footsteps of Eggman or the Society. Fortunately, no one met their success.

5. Surprisingly enough, it was the Squid Game video! Although I haven't seen Squid Game myself, I do know what the challenges are. Of course, the red light, green light challenge was super easy for him, but other challenges like the sugar honeycombs and marbles challenges were surprisingly tough for him and he ended up losing. On an additional note, since Sonic went home, he is not aware of the current news involving MrBeast, nor is he aware of Lunchly or Feastables.

6. Attempts have been made, but although various craft have landed on Mars, no Mobians have landed on Mars yet.

Mr. Stewart should have thought of that sooner, even if it risked his job.

Amy has listened to K-pop, specifically BTS, but not as much as other groups. The other Mobians have not heard K-pop since they arrived on Earth.

Mr. Stewart, I would like you to meet a friend of mine, her name is Karma! XD

Day Twenty-Eight: Denial
Prompt: CCTV

Chris was once again a prisoner on the Egg Carrier. It seemed like it was getting old now. But this time felt different.

Unlike the other times he was captured, he was allowed to wander free. He was sure the freedom that Eggman was offering him was a trap, so he made sure to keep his wits about him and make sure he didn't fall into enemy hands.

There were robots in every hall he passed through, but for some odd reason, they weren't trying to detain him. As Chris made his way through the ship, looking for a way off, Chris knew something was very wrong. He was a hostage and he knew it, but Eggman seemed to have different plans with him.

Things started to change when he noticed that several robots were blocking off part of the hallway he was in. Chris' heart was beating faster, and he realized he was very likely going to be taken to a prison cell. He heard metallic footsteps behind him, and he turned to see that a dozen Egg Pawns were approaching from behind him too. He was cornered by the robots, and there was no way he could fight them all and escape unscathed.

He took a few steps backwards until he realized they were trying to escort him toward a door that was nearby. With no other choice, he entered the room and locked the door behind him, panting from his close ordeal. When he turned around, he saw that he appeared to be in a surveillance room of some sort. There were screens lining every wall, but one particular screen caught his eye.

That was the screen that showed the main deck, where his friends were gathered.

He had no idea they were on the Egg Carrier this whole time. And at a glance, they were looking worse for wear.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy were all at the mercy of Metal Sonic.

Even with Eggman's incredibly advanced technology, the quality of the CCTV screen looked like it was filmed with a potato, and there was no audio. He could see his friends' mouths moving, but he could only guess what they could be saying besides calling for assistance.

The only sound in the room was his heart beating in his ears as Metal dealt Sonic a particularly strong blow, and the hedgehog was sent flying across the room. His other three friends stood there in shock for a moment, and Knuckles ran toward Metal, slamming his fists into the floor to createta shockwave, but Metal flew over it and kicked him into the wall.

Chris couldn't bear to watch. He wanted to do something to help his friends. There was nothing he could do, he knew that, but he couldn't just stand there and do nothing.

He immediately ran toward the door and tried to open it, but the door wouldn't open. In fact, he couldn't even unlock it. And then it dawned on Chris what kind of situation he was in.

This was his prison.

Eggman was luring him here knowing full well that it would weaken Chris' morale if his friends fell one by one while he watched.

Chris gritted his teeth, and he felt tears in his eyes as Metal continued his rampage. Sonic tried to get up and rebound off the wall to get to Metal, but the hedgehog's robotic doppelganger flew toward him in the blink of an eye, grabbed him, and threw him straight at Amy, sending them both crashing into the wall. Not even two seconds later, Metal body-slammed Tails into the floor.

All four of his friends were down.

And he had been forced to watch.

Just then the door opened and the lights turned on, and Eggman walked in. Chris was rooted to the spot in fear.

"Did you enjoy the movie?" Eggman asked, a big grin on his face. "My humblest apologies, I couldn't afford popcorn and soda, I blew my entire budget on modifications for Metal. And speaking of Metal, it was so hard to not spoil this movie for you! I was too excited to show it to you!"

"That… was not a movie…" was all Chris could bring himself to say. "M-My friends got hurt really bad… and you forced me to watch…"

"Oh, I wouldn't say forced," Eggman told him, wagging a finger. "You could have looked away at any time, I wouldn't have stopped you. But no, your curiosity got the better of you."

Out of the corner of his eye, one of the figures on the screen was disappearing and moving out of view on the main screens, before running across the screens. He couldn't get a clear view of who it was, though, but it reminded him of Five Nights at Freddy's.

He spread his arms wide. "Imagine all the glowing reviews this little film could get on RottenTomatoes and IMDB since yours truly directed and produced it! I'll use all my hard-earned money to get a better CCTV system, so you can actually hear the movie next time! Then it won't have to look like a silent movie from the 1920s! And you want to know the best part? This film is rooted in cold hard reality, unlike your mother's films–"

"Don't say that about my mom's movies!" Chris shouted, before looking back at the screen. Fortunately, Eggman was quiet again. "My friends are coming to rescue me right now!"

Eggman blinked in surprise. "How do you know that?"

"Because you forgot to turn off the CCTV."

"Huh… so I did… Maybe I could cut my evil monologues back a bit and get a clearer view of the big picture–"

And then, just like in classic FNAF style, Knuckles exploded through the door, sending the heavy metal door onto Eggman and knocking him out cold. Chris was startled and took a few steps back, his heart racing.

"Now that's how you end a movie!" Knuckles declared, glancing at Eggman on the floor. "You all right, Chris?"

"I-I…" Chris couldn't really bring himself to speak because he was still full of adrenalin, plus he was recovering from the fear he had when he was watching his friends take a huge beating. "I-Is… e-everyone else okay?"

Knuckles smiled. "Take a look at the cameras."

Chris did so, and he saw Sonic, Tails, and Amy using team attacks to take down Metal Sonic. In less than a minute, the robot was sent sprawling onto the ground.

"Guess he was just a cheap copy after all," Knuckles says before he stepped over the door. "You really shouldn't sleep there, Eggman, you'll get cold. And doors don't make good blankets. C'mon, Chris."

Chris had a small smile even through the tears that started to form as he followed Knuckles out of the room, making sure to step over Eggman and the door. They both made their way through all the destroyed Badniks on their way back to their friends.

A/N: That concludes day 28! I knew right away that I wanted to do something related to CCTV, although I didn't know what exactly I wanted to have. However, I'm pretty pleased with today's result.

Tomorrow's theme is "Fatigue!"
