"Wait Luffy it's me!" Desperately, Ace calls out trying to chase after his baby brother filled to the brim with food fleeing from the marine that was Smoker…
"Tashigi!" Smoker yells calling out to his subordinate.
"Yes what is it captain Smoker? Would you like a towel? This country is so hot!" Happily, she rubs the wet towel on her cheek.
"Catch him it's Straw Hat!" Smoker yells.
"Straw hat!? I'll cut him down huh?" She startled slashes at the approaching boy but he easily dodges said strike continuing to go on ahead…
"Tashigi call an emergency meeting with the marines search every inch of this town for the other Straw Hat Pirates!" Smoker shoots smoke spewing out from where his legs would be rising up to the rooftops to chase after the boy.
"Right!" Tashigi waves her arm ordering her men to follow…
"White snake! Straw hat why did you come to this country? What are you after?" Sternly, Smoker demands from Luffy.
"What? I came here to beat the crap outta Crocodile!" Luffy argues.
"What? Crocodile? What connection do you have to Crocodile? Huh? He disappeared! Bastard that was crafty! Straw Hat!" Smoker curses cross when Luffy vanishes out of nowhere starting Smoker unaware of him simply dropping down into an alleyway below having tripped and fallen into the gap landing in some nearby rubbish before taking off, Smoker soon spotting his iconic straw hat and chasing after him…
"I wonder where Luffy is…" Vivi wonders out loud as she, Sanji and the rest wait for their captain to meet up.
"He's impossible a captain we always have to be looking out for oh Nami san." Sanji perks up at the sight of her.
"Oi, oi there's bad news. We might have to leave right away this place has a bad vibe." Usopp warns.
"Bad vibe?" Sanji frowns.
"The marines are here." Nami admits.
"The marines?!" Vivi gasps.
"And a strange man." Chopper adds.
"Let's find Luffy as fast as we can and get out of this town." Nami decides.
"Hey get down!" Zoro pushes Usopp down.
"What's going on?" Usopp frowns from the sound of shouting.
"Marines…" Zoro scowls.
"They're making a lot of noise." Usopp points out.
"Don't let him escape! After him!" The marines roar.
"It's probably just some dumbass pirate running all over the place." Sanji assumes.
"Dumbass pirate!?" The group share a look until…
"AHHH!" A familiar scream reaches their ears.
"Halt Straw Hat!" Smoker snarls running alongside his recruits.
"It's you!?" The group say shocked.
"Yo Zoro! Whoa' everyone's over there!" Luffy perks up at the sight of them rushing over.
"IDIOT DON'T COME HERE UNTIL YOU'VE LOST THEM!" Zoro snaps at Luffy coming over.
"It's the straw hat pirates we've sighted them!" The marines take note of them.
"Hey what should we do?" Usopp queries.
"Our only option is to run." Nami dictates.
"Let's go what's taking you so long come on!" Luffy calls out running past them.
"You moron!" The crew glare at their captain.
"You won't escape!" Smoker snarls.
"Captain!" His men perk up at the sight of him.
"Ah he caught up…" Luffy takes note of Smoker.
"White blow! You won't escape!" Smoker strikes however…
"Heat haze!" His hues widen when smoke meets fire…
"You again…" Smoker scowls at the sight of the man formed by flames…
"Heh give it up. You may be smoke but I am fire with our abilities a fight would be pointless." Ace warns with his fingertips glowing ruby red from the fierce flames enveloping them.
"That guy is a devil fruit user?" Zoro says surprised.
"Who the hell is he? Why is he helping us?" Usopp queries.
"ACE!" Luffy recognises.
"You never change Luffy if Ann saw you she'd be giving you the scolding of a lifetime with how reckless you're being." Bemused, Ace points out.
"Ace…it's Ace! You ate a devil fruit?!" Luffy says still shocked.
"Yeah the mera mera fruit." He casually confirms.
"Captain Smoker! You're orders!?" The marines turn to their captain.
"Anyway we can't talk like this! I'll catch up later you guys run for it! Go!" Ace orders.
"Let's go!" Luffy calls out as they do just that…
"Who the hell is that!?" Sanji couldn't help but wonder while running away…
"I don't get it. Why did you help Straw Hat?" Smoker scowls crossing his arms over his chest eyeing the bemused boy before him.
"Having a younger brother who's a bit on the slow side makes his older brother worry." Amused, Ace exclaims.
"What do you mean younger brother? Wait that means…move Portgas D. Ace!" Smoker orders the boy before him brow furrowed.
"I don't think so…" Ace answers.
"You're as troublesome as your sister…" Smoker sneers.
"I'm sure Ann would be happy to hear that knowing her." Haughty, he responds.
"Wait Luffy just who was that?" Nami queries as the straw hats run.
"He's my brother!" Luffy answers.

"To think you two would be related to Straw Hat…it explains how troublesome he is…if you both are related to her…white spark!" Smoker scowls spewing smoke at Ace as Ace amused simply smirks, forming into flames as fire and smoke strike…
"W-What's that?" The people gawk gape at the combustion of flames and smoke stunned.
"A fire?" Another voice says surprised.
"That's no ordinary fire!" Another adds as the man with the so called gold apple drops it before the feet of the robed woman.
"…How troublesome." The hooded woman tuts tiredly, a shy streak of pink peeking out of her hood as she turns on her heel having no choice but to head to the brightly blast of flames and smoke clashing…
"What do you think is happening?" Chopper queries looking up at the flame and smoke fighting.
"A battle between fire and smoke?" Usopp adds.
"He said he ate the Mera Mera fruit." Sanji recalls.
"But Luffy is he really your brother?" Baffled, Vivi turns to Luffy.
"Yeah he's Ace." Luffy confirms.
"Well I'm not surprised he's your brother but what's he doing on the Grand Line?" Zoro ponders perplexed.
"Ace is a pirate. He left our island three years beofre me in search of the One Piece." Luffy explains to them.
"A-Anyway let's hurt back to the ship we should get out of here before they come after us." Nami reminds them.
"Right Nami san!" Sanji swoons as they continue on ahead.
"I never thought I'd meet Ace in a place like this…" Luffy looks up at the combustion still in awe back turned to the others as he runs backwards while the others run ahead.
"The road is splitting!" Usopp worries.
"Usopp go left!" Nami orders as the rest do all except one…
"Yes I'm with you no matter which way you choose Nami san!" Sanji swoons oblivious to Luffy going right.
"Enough already ero cook!" Zoro snaps.

"A-Ann!" Ace's eyes expand at the sheer sight of the woman.
"Portgas!" Smoker scowls glaring at her.
"V-Vice admiral Ann!" Some of the marines gawk, glare at the sight of her, arming themselves shaking scared.
"Been a while Smokey still do you both mind cutting down with the powers your harming the people?" Ann gestures to the children coughing from said smoke and fierce flames.
"Don't act as if you care your tricks won't work on me pirate scum." Smoker sneers withdrawing his smoker.
"So cold Smokey geez…" Ann tuts tiredly sauntering over, standing between both her brother and Smoker smirking.
"Portgas. D. Ann what do you think you're doing?" Smoker's hues narrow at Ann.
"What's it look like? Trying to stop my fool of a baby brother form getting ito another unnecessary fight." Firmly, Ann answers amused.

"Dunno but Luffy you've still got that whole "my pace" thing. You haven't changed a bit from when you were a kid." Axl smirks smugly.
"Neither have you Ace I was surprised to hear you ate a Devil's fruit but nothing else about you has changed. Like that time you snuck into the farmer's field, ate a hundred watermelons then spat out the seeds like a canon and ran away!" Luffy smirks smugly back as the two struggle with their arm wrestling.

"Huh didn't you get my message in Drum?" Ace takes out his water bottle from his bag.

"Well never mind it wasn't anything important. I have some minor business to take care of in this part of the ocean. I figured I'd try to meet up with you." Ace takes a sip of his bottle before handing it to Luffy.

"I'm with the Whitebeard Pirates now." Ace admits to his brother.
"Whitebeard?" Luffy hums.
"This is the mark of the Whitebeard Pirates my greatest pride…Luffy how about joining the whitebeard pirates? Your nakama too of course." Ace shows his back to Luffy before inviting him over…

"Hahaha! Yeah thought so just thought to ask. Whitebeard is the greatest pirate I've ever known. I've decided to make that man the Pirate King. Not you Luffy." Ace decides.
"So what? It's just one more person I'll have to fight. I'm going to be the pirate king!" Luffy declares determined.

"Captain Smoker we were unable to locate Straw Hat Luffy or his crew!" Tashigi rushes over to his cross captain's side scowling.
"…It's fine I lost a bigger catch." Crushing the cigar in his mouth, Smoker scowls.
"Huh?" Tashigi blurts out taken aback.
"Portgas D. Ann." Smoker sneers.
"…V-Vice Admiral Ann was here!?" Taken aback, Tashigi gasps.
"…Yeah protecting her brother." Briskly, Smoker spews smoke into the open air.
"I never knew she had one." Tashigi says surprised.
"Nor did I…then again looking back at it all she never spoke a lick of her past…just let the other keep yapping away as she hid everything about her from us…" Smoker sneers scowling, his hues narrowing.
"…C-Captain?" Tashigi stutters slightly from the intensity of Smoker's words.
"…Get me a snail." Sternly, Smoker orders.

"Sorry. Oh yeah Ace!" Luffy rushes back to the railing looking over at the town.
"Ace? Your brother was with you?" Usopp hums.

"So the older brother of a monster turns out to be a super monster." Usopp sweat drops.

"You'll probably want to talk I'll make some tea." Sanji takes out a cigarette but…
"Oh no don't worry about it. But I appreciate your consideration." Ace smiles lighting up Sanji's cigarette surprising him.
"Shocking…I thought the guy Luffy described would be some selfish arrogant jerk." Usopp couldn't help but compare.
"It's a lie someone this polite can't be Luffy's brother." Nami refuses to believe it.
"He's such a better persona than his brother!" Zoro adds.
"Brotherhood is a wonderful thing!" Chopper beams brightly.
"The sea's a mysterious place…" Sanji hums.
"Now now everyone…" Vivi tries to calm their shock down.
"See don't they crack you up?" Luffy smiles happy to introduce his nakama to Ace…
"Tashigi what do you think? Vivi was with those pirates…" Smoker asks after setting said snail down.
"The princess was with the straw hats? Is she a hostage? Could they have kidnapped her hoping to have some ulterior motive?" Tashigi couldn't help but ponder.
"No Vivi was moving of her own accord as if she was their nakama…" Smoker corrects Tashigi.
"…Do you think vice…I mean the marine traitor to be involved?" Tashigi's grip tightens around her blade brow furrowed.
"…Something is happening in this country…for that ship to receive Portgas' protection…they're after Crocodile, perhaps she is the one backing it…" Smoker considers.
"Crocodile!? A pirate approved by the government? He's one of the Shibukai isn't he?" Tashigi recollects.
"You know I despise the warlords don't you? Especially that despicable man…" Smoker scowls.
"B-But strictly speaking he's an ally of the Government and the Marines." Tashigi reminds her captain.
"We thought the same with Portgas now look at her…" Smoker grunts grumpily.

"He was once an extremely clever pirate he isn't the type of soul that takes orders from any government! Never has been! For Portgas to be involved…something big is going on…" Smoker concludes.

"Perhaps she can't openly do anything due to her captain but perhaps she's using straw hat to get rid of Crocodile. Tashigi I understand your sentiment towards the traitor but never forget no matter how far a pirate goes he is still a pirate." Smoker considers.

"Vice Admiral Portgas betrayed us, she is a pirate now, one of the yonko at that, she is an enemy ot an ally." Smoker reminds Tashigi.

"Baroque works that's the billions fleet!" Frightened, Vivi gasps at the incoming ships.

"Looks like Aces…wait is that…?" Luffy's eyes expand catching on while Zoro's hues narrow noting the robed woman on the jet boat of sorts, slowly sliding her blade out.
"Ann geez she's such a worrywart…" Ace sighs furrowing his brow by the sight of the robed woman.
"…Ann?" Nami perks up at the name.
"They'll be dealt with soon enough." Ace dismisses confusing the group oblivious to Zoro's hues narrow noting the blade being slowly drawn out but not completely.
"Huh? WHOA!" The crew gawk gape as with one swift strike each and every ship sinks, falls into the dark depths below, the billions screaming scared flailing about as some swim to shore, some drown and others just flat…
"Just one with slice…!?" Stunned, Sanji says shocked as Zoro couldn't help but think back to a certain swordsman seeing the ruined remains of the ships floating along the washing waves with the robed woman going about her day…
"She's such a show off…" Ace huffs eyeing the wrecked ruined remains of the ships scattered about the sea from said singular slice
"This is great! Ace is our nakama! Kanpai!" Luffy, Usopp and Chopper cheer as they get away…

"He used to be a member of the whitebeard pirates second vision my subordinate. Until he committed the greatest crime you can do on a pirate ship. He murdered his nakama and fled the ship as the commander I have to find him and finish him off." Ace explains to them.
"So that's why you're after him…" Nami says softly.
"The only reason I came to this country is because he was reportedly seen in Yuba." Ace admits.
"Then you're going to the same place we're going!" Vivi realises.
"Wherever Nami-san and Vivi chan go I'll go!" Sanji swoons.

"Oh really well I heard she and Mihawk were seen together a fair few times at work!" A marine chats.

"A girl like that I wouldn't be surprised especially with this Portgas boy making the rounds." One of the marines sneer.
"You think he's her son?" Surprised, one of the marines gasps.
"No doubt girls like her always end up in those sorts of situations…" Snippily, another oe of the marines sneer only to flinch from the sudden sharp snap of a teacup hitting the table below.
"…Excuse me." Isuka stands seething swiftly swerving turning on her heel heading off, done just done with the marines daily gossip.
"Is she trying to rile up the government does she want a fight? Or perhaps she has a vendetta against Crocodile? Did you know about this…Garp?" Sternly, Sengoku sits at his desk dutifully eyeing the old man chomping down on his rice crackers while looking over at the paperwork of the report given to him.
"Eh?" Garp soon stops confusion clear in his tone towards Sengoku.
"Your troublesome granddaughter coming back to Paradise?" Sengoku snaps scowling at Garp.
"How would I know? That guy just does what she likes you can never predict her." Honestly, Garp shrugs Sengoku off, a faint fondness in his tone towards the mischievous woman.
"Which makes her so terrifying." Sengoku scowls bowing his head.
"Huh?" He blurts out.
"You heard have you not? Her attacking that whole shipment of billions." Brow furrowed, Sengoku scowls at Garp.
"Well they weren't marine ships so what's the problem?" Garp shrugs it off.
"The problem is that they were crocodiles who is a warlord need I remind you?" Sengoku scowls at Garp.
"Like I said that girl just does what she likes." Garp once again shrugs Sengoku off, he couldn't control that girl no one could.
"She's taunting us!" A angry voice soon joins in glaring glowering at the two, Garp's hues narrowing at the man in red.
"Akainu…" Sengoku acknowledges the man before them.
"She knows we can't touch her not with Red Haired protection so she thinks she can do what she likes let me bring her back! I'll end this matter for once and all with that marine traitor!" Akainu snarls seethes swearing it incensed.
"You think she wouldn't expect that? Portgas is not an enemy to take lightly this could be her trying to ger a rise out of the marines." Sengoku sternly snaps at Akainu glaring to the side.
"So what do you suggest we do? We can't take this lying down, Portgas has been a thorn in our side for years something has to be done with that traitor!" Angrily, Akainu slams his furious fist against the top of Sengoku's desk.
"And it will but with a strategist like her we have to be careful one wrong move and for all we know it could be the end of the marines." Sternly, Sengoku tells Akainu how it is making him seethe.
"Tch…! Damn you Portgas D. Ann! I swear it I'll have her head one of these days!" Determined, Akainu swears storming out…
