Luring
By now, the four ponies, Sugar Belle, Night Glider, Double Diamond and Party Favor had befriended the young unicorn, Starlight Glimmer. The young pony had just come up with a way of living and needed help. Starlight Glimmer first explained the details and told the four friends on what she wants to do with it.
"So," Starlight Glimmer said, "You up for it?" "We can try and help," Night Glider said, "But we're really going to need a lot of help." "From ponies who knows what to do about this." "And besides," Party Favor added in, "We're out in the middle of nowhere. Well, except this desert."
"Don't worry," Starlight Glimmer said in a reassuring tone, "I promise everything will look great in the end. "If you say so," Sugar Belle said. "Anyway," Double Diamond said, "Let's get started soon."
So the five ponies began to clear out the area, ready to build Starlight Glimmer's new town. In a few days several contractors had arrived. "Okay," Double Diamond said. "The contractors will help," Party Favor said, "Bilbo said so as well."
"All right," Starlight Glimmer said and the contractors looked at Starlight Glimmer's plan in private.
It took several hours for the final decisions to be made. But immediately, the contractors accepted Starlight Glimmer's blueprints.
"Okay," Double Diamond said, "Now it's going to get started." But to the four friend's surprise, the contractors just went along with Starlight Glimmer's plans. "What happened to those guys?" Double Diamond asked.
What no pony realized is that when the contractors prepared to turn down Starlight Glimmer's plans for a plain small town out in the middle of nowhere, the young unicorn filly had actually manipulated the contractors into accepting her plans.
The final result will look, well, plain. And the four friend won't know what hit them after all this. "I am surprised at these contractors," Party Favor said, confused.
"There's something funny going on here," Night Glider said, "I don't mean your jokes, Party Favor."
