Sunset Shimmer's Book
Later, when Sunset Shimmer got back home, she immediately sat down on her couch and read the book that she checked out. "So this is a book about most of Princess Celestia's life," she thought to herself as she opened the book and began to read.
"So this is the beginning," she said. She started to read. "So princess Celestia was born like any other ponies," Sunset Shimmer said out loud, "As a unicorn over a thousand years ago and some time later, she had a younger sister, named Luna. I've never seen her before."
She continued reading, "Years later, both sister were granted life of longevity and became alicorn princess, thus both sisters have been granted each the powers to control both the sun and the moon."
Sunset Shimmer stopped for a moment. "Alicorn?" she said to herself, "Is that both a Pegasus and a unicorn? Well, if that's what I saw, then I'll go with what this book says."
She continued reading on, "Princess Celestia was given the power to control the sun, while her sister, Princess Luna controlled the moon. Interesting." She continued reading on, going through most of the daily activities of the two princess.
"Then," Sunset Shimmer continued, "The younger sister was jealous of her sister's powers. Thus she became a nightmarish pony who declared to shroud Equestria in permanent darkness. Therefore, Princess Celestia had to banish her to the moon. She had to take on the power to control both the sun and the moon."
Sunset Shimmer thought about it for a moment and then, she said, "It was difficult for her to control both the sun and the moon. But hey, some pony's got to do it."
She then continued reading on. "As of the day this book is written," Sunset Shimmer continued on, "Which is a few years ago, actually, it has been nearly a thousand years since this event has taken place. Right now, it is almost a thousand years."
Then Sunset Shimmer noticed something that she had missed. "The two sisters did help Equestria several times in the past," she said. She read about two of several times that they did.
"Well," she began, "One time that they helped other ponies is by imprisoning a draconequus named Discord in stone as he was tormenting all of the ponies with his corrupted magic."
Then she read about one not really a successful time. "There is one time," she went on, "Princess Celestia and her sister defeated an evil unicorn king who took over the Crystal Empire. Although they've defeated him, they were unable to stop him from casting his powerful spell, which caused the whole Crystal Empire to vanish for a thousand years."
However, Sunset Shimmer never thought about the Crystal Empire, or Discord, or anything else at all. All she thought about is Princess Celestia. "Never mind about those time," she said at last.
She then continued on reading about most of her life and what else she did during those years.
"So, this is Princess Celestia's life," Sunset Shimmer said as she closed the book. "I must meet this Princess Celestia!" Sunset Shimmer declared at last.
Afterwards, she went to sleep.
