Featherweight, Pipsqueak And Princess Luna's Night
Afterwards, Featherweight and Pipsqueak looked out into the night sky. "This is wonderful," Featherweight said.
Princess Luna smiled at the two foals and soon, she decided to join in the sight seeing, too. "I have to agree," Princess Luna said to herself. But she said it to the two colts anyway.
After one hour, Princess Luna and the two colts still stared out in the night sky. Hours ago, Princess Luna had raised the moon for the first time in over a thousand years. At that moment, two foals, Pipsqueak and Featherweight have agreed to stay with Princess Luna for the night and their parents had agreed to it.
Some time after their night work, the parents decided to look out into the night sky as well. "So much out there," Featherweight said to his friend. "Look at the stars!" Pipsqueak called. "They're wonderful," Featherweight agreed, amazed at the sight, "I've never known they're so pretty."
"I've always thought so," Princess Luna said, "I really should have thought about that in the first place." Princess Luna still remembered that a long time ago, none of the ponies would go out and see the night sky and instead slept through it.
"We've missed out," Featherweight said, "At this time." "Yes," I agree," Pipsqueak agreed, "You are wonderful, Princess Luna." "Thank you," Princess Luna replied, "I'm happy to hear that. After all of these years of isolation." "Okay?" Pipsqueak replied, confused.
"It's a long story," Princess Luna said, "Ask my sister about it." "Okay," Featherweight said, "We'll go with that." "But still," Pipsqueak went on, "Who knows what other things could be out there?"
"Beyond Equestria," Princess Luna added, "We may never know, and the truth is, I don't really know myself. Being the mare, Nightmare Moon, and being literally trapped in the moon, in limbo, I don't know." "Ok," Pipsqueak said, "At least things are balanced now."
"Right," Featherweight agreed. "And also, I don't think eternal night would be much fun either," Princess Luna said to herself, "I can name all of the reasons, but I don't need to." For now, the three continued to watch the sky, illuminated by the stars in space.
Many more hours had passed and right now it is almost 1:00 am. By now, Featherweight and Pipsqueak were starting to get tired. "Okay, you two," Princess Luna said, "I think that's enough for the both of you." "We agree," the two colts said with a great, big yawn.
Immediately, their parents arrived and took the two colts, who were getting ready to go to sleep back home. "Good night, Featherweight, Pipsqueak," Princess Luna called to the two.
"Good night," Featherweight said sleepily, "And thanks for tonight." "Same," Pipsqueak yawned. "You take care now," Princess Luna said.
And thus, after Featherweight and Pipsqueak had left, or carried away by their parents as they've fallen asleep, Princess Luna had a lot to think about. "I will defiantly share this with Strong Will," Princess Luna said. "Done," a familiar voice said.
Princess Luna turned and saw her friend, Strong Will, the royal guard pony who was on duty that night. "Strong Will?" Princess Luna said, "Have you?" "I've watched everything," Strong Will said with a smile, "You've given those kids a rare experience."
"Thank you," Princess Luna replied. She smiled. "Agreed," said Strong Will.
And for that moment, the two sat together happily before Strong Will left to continue his night shift. Princess Luna is now a very happy alicorn princess.
