Afterwards

The following day, after the incident with the avalanche, Delta Dynas and Serenade were praised for their heroic actions. But it wasn't a big ceremony. It just a small crowd of ponies who were there. There were all happy to be safe. After a while, the two ponies were by themselves again.

"Well," said Delta Dynas, "It was all right." "Yes," Serenade agreed, "I don't mind. It was just fine." "Yes," Delta Dynas agreed. Soon enough, Princess Celestia flew down to meet the two ponies.

She had just come back from her important meeting and she had only recently heard about the accident and Delta Dynas and Serenade's actions. She was happy for the two ponies. "Every pony said they were grateful for your actions," she told the couple.

"Yes," Serenade replied. "We know," Delta Dynas said. ""I'm sorry that not a lot of ponies were there to," Princess Celestia said, trying to think of something to say, but she had a hard time thinking. "We know what you're going to say," Delta Dynas said.

"That's okay," Serenade said, "We don't mind a small crowd." "We're just happy to be together," Delta Dynas said in response, "And we were happy to stop that avalanche before it had a chance at all." This made Princess Celestia very happy.

"I'm grateful," she said. "We don't need to be praised for our actions, Celestia," Delta Dynas explained, "We're just happy to be together." "And we had to take action," Serenade explained as well.

"But still," Delta Dynas said, "Good news sure does spread around here." Serenade had to agree with Delta Dynas. "Now, once the snow lightens, there will be something to do," Princess Celestia explained. "We understand," Delta Dynas and Serenade agreed. "I'm glad you do," Princess Celestia said with a smile.

By the end of the day, every pony was happy. Especially Delta Dynas and Serenade. As for the clean up operations, that will have to wait until things have calmed down completely.
