Chapter Four
Seras was on the brink of having a panic attack after her little chat with Alucard and Sebastian. She had no idea what they heard or what they knew, but she wished that it would all go away. She wanted those horrible rumors to stop, she wanted Ryan to disappear forever, and she wished with all of her heart that her mentors were oblivious to it all. She really didn't need them to get involved in all of this. It just made her feel worse. Now she was going to have to be extra careful around them. They can't ever know what Ryan did to her. She didn't want them to hate her or treat her like glass, and she especially didn't want his blood on their hands. She truly and deeply appreciated that they wanted to protect her, it was very heartwarming, but them knowing and wanting to kill Ryan was something she didn't want to have to worry about. She was already under enough stress as it was!
Seras ended up finding refuge away from everyone else in the lounge room. Since the garden was a bust, she thought watching a movie in the lounge would be a good way for her to get her mind off of everything and relax. She picked a film that normally helped calm her when she was feeling stressed: You've Got Mail. It had a simple storyline that kept her engaged and managed to get her mind off of whatever problems she was experiencing. She was praying that the movie would work its magic and help relax her. For the first few minutes of the film, Seras struggled to focus and get her mind off of things. Fortunately, as the movie progressed, all of her chaotic thoughts quieted and she slowly was able to relax. In that small, perfect moment, nothing else mattered or worried her. She was just able to enjoy the slow process of two characters falling in love. However, that peaceful moment of not having to worry about anything ended abruptly.
Someone plopped down on the couch right beside her. Startled by the surprise visitor, Seras practically jumped right out of her skin. Shifting her head to see who decided to join her, her eyes widened and her heart skipped a beat. Ryan sat there ever so nonchalantly with his arms stretched out over the back of the sofa and a bouncing foot resting over his left knee. Her heart started to race in her chest as her stomach became one large knot. Without even realizing it, she started to tremble as her womanhood pulsed, remembering the pain it endured.
"I like Meg Ryan." Ryan stated as he gestured at the TV. "She has this…cuteness about her, kind of like a…child-like wonder to her. And there's just something about the way she speaks; it's alluring." The man then snickered as he once more gestured at the movie. "Tom Hanks, though. I have no idea what people see in him. He's goofy looking. I never understood why Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan were paired together." Refusing to sit there and watch a movie with that vile man, Seras got up. Ryan didn't hesitate grabbing the small blonde by her wrist, preventing her from leaving. "Woah! Where are you going?" He snickered as he tried pulling her so she would sit back down next to him. But she refused to budge.
"Let go! She demanded as she gave him a withering glare. This wiped that smile right off of his face. The look in his eyes darkened, and she knew then that she was testing his patience.
"You're always off in a fucking hurry!" Ryan raised his voice. "I was trying to be nice and watch a movie with you." His grip around her thin wrist tightened. A silent warning for her to sit down and be pleasant. But she ignored that 'subtle' warning.
"Let go!" Seras hissed before she yanked her arm free. "I want nothing to do with you." The Draculina turned to leave, but was only able to take one step before he had a fistful of her hair. With a single sharp tug, he pulled her backwards. Instinctively, Seras reached up with both hands to grab his wrist, trying her best to lessen the pain.
"Why are you being such a bitch?!" Ryan growled at her. He wrapped his free arm around her body. Much to her displeasure, he ran that filthy hand down her stomach to cup her womanhood. "We have something special, you and I. You're fiery, I'm strong. We would be a beautiful power couple, baby. Just accept it."
"Get off!" She snarled through gritted teeth.
"Let me have you again. Let me remind you what we have together. We make a beautiful couple." He proceeded as he placed deep kisses on her throat. Her skin crawled as every fiber of her begged to get as far away from him as possible. Her eyes burned fiercely with anger and fresh tears. Her once blue irises were nothing more but smoldering red embers that depicted her rage. So many voices ran through her head. Kill him. Rip him to shreds. Fight back, Seras. Defend yourself. But her conscience kept getting in the way. He's a human! You can't kill him! Just run! Run towards people! Ryan can't do anything with others around! Just get to safety!
"GET OFF!" Seras shouted before she bit her claws deep into his hand. Skin broke as she clawed her way down. Blood spilled from the claw marks to stain her hair. Ryan hollered in pain and finally let her go. The second her hair was free from his grasp, she took a chance and bolted for the exit. When reaching the double doors, she was stopped when finding a belt wrapped tightly around both door handles, preventing her from immediately escaping and keeping others from getting in. "Damn it!" Seras growled as she attempted to slide the entire belt off the door handles without having to undo the entire belt. Her effort was fruitless, the belt was too tightly fastened around the handles and barely budged.
"Shit!" Before she could even try to unfasten the belt, a hand was slapped over her mouth and she felt a sharp pain in her side. Seras screamed from the blinding pain of a silver knife digging deep in the side of her stomach. Her scream was muffled by his bog, meaty hand that smelled of gunshot residue and gun oil. To further incapacitate her, Ryan removed the knife and stabbed her again.
"I'll teach you to walk away from me when I'm talking to you!" He snarled in her ear. Once more, he slid the bloody knife out and stabbed her for a third time in her side. Seras' muffled scream came out a garbled mess as hot tears ran down her face. "Stop squirming." Ryan hissed, warning her that he would stab her again if she proceeded to fight him. "And don't make another sound." Leaving the knife in her side, he reached around to unhook her belt. "Come on," He demanded. As he pulled her backwards, he slid her belt off. Seras attempted to fight him. She squirmed to try and get free while simultaneously screaming in his hand in hope to get someone's attention. She tried hard not to scream for her master; she fought not to send him a telepathic message. No! She can't get Alucard and Sebastian involved! She can't ever let them find out or see her this way! "Shut up!" Ryan warned her for the last time. Sliding the knife from her side, he plunged it through her throat to silence her completely.
Alucard and Sebastian stood in the Hellsing's security room trying to get evidence of footage. However, they were having no such luck.
"What do you mean there's no current footage for the training room or armory? What happened to it?" Sebastian asked one of the soldiers that was left in charge to monitor security tapes. The human, a man named Weber, was practically sweating bullets knowing he had pissed off the Hellsing's monsters. He had no idea what they wanted with that footage, but he knew better than to question them.
"I-I don't know!" The soldier responded as he hastily pressed buttons in hope one of those switches would magically turn the security cameras back on in those two rooms. "It appears that they've been disabled!"
"For how long?!" The demon raised his voice, making the human tremble in fear.
"I don't know!" Weber responded as his teeth chattered. "Weeks, maybe months! We hardly ever have to monitor those rooms, so it's hard to say when those cameras were disabled!"
"Bloody perfect!" Sebastian snarled as he placed his head in his hand. "How are we supposed to gather proof if the proof is gone?!"
"This was all premeditated. Whoever raped her knew exactly what he was doing. It's highly likely that he's done this before." Alucard considered while he glowered at the dark monitors that were supposed to show the footage from the training room and armory. The soldier's head snapped back to look up at them in shock.
"Rape?!" Weber squeaked. "Who?!"
"Alucard and I are trying to figure that out." Sebastian responded. He lowered his hand and raised his head to look back at the soldier. "You could be of assistance." All that fear had vanished from the man's eyes. All that was left was determination and anger.
"Whatever it is you need!" Weber promised with a sharp nod. "Just catch the bastard!"
"Fix the cameras that have been disabled. Get it done as soon as possible." Sebastian instructed him.
"Yes, Sir!" The soldier replied with another nod.
"Be sure he hasn't disabled any of the other security cameras." The demon added. "Also, please put together a list of every room that doesn't have a security camera."
"Got it!" Weber exclaimed as he turned back towards the monitors.
"How can that help us?" Alucard asked with his brows furrowed.
"The perpetrator is doing his best to avoid security cameras, but he could be leaving other evidence behind. If we get a proper list, we can search those rooms for further evidence." Sebastian explained.
"It'll take some time, but I'll try to have it all done by tonight." The soldier promised.
"Good," The demon purred with a satisfied smirk. "Once you get the cameras back online, be sure to keep an extra eye on those rooms. We don't want another incident happening."
"Yes, Sir!" The soldier responded swiftly.
"Notify us if you notice any suspicious characters." Alucard demanded. The monsters then turned and headed for the door.
"Yes, Sir." Weber repeated once more before they left. The dark haired males walked down the corridor, going at their own leisure. While they may not have figured out who the perpetrator was, they felt more at ease knowing that someone will be better at monitoring the manor. Hopefully they can find the perpetrator before he strikes again.
"Oi, Alucard." Someone called out to him. Lifting his gaze, the elder vampire found that they were approaching Pickman. The Captain was casually leaning in the doorway of the game room. A couple of soldiers were in the room playing pool while two others were playing ping pong. "Martin is currently on leave due to your best mate shattering his wrist." Pickman gestured his head at Sebastian who frowned when being referred to as Alucard's 'best mate'. "In spite of that, I didn't report you to Sir Integra. I'm sorry for what he did to your fledgling. Perhaps it was a good lesson for Martin, but don't go making a habit out of it. Alright?" The monsters stopped in the corridor when reaching the Captain.
"And what of the soldier who's been spreading rumors about my Draculina?" Alucard questioned him. Pickman immediately looked at the floor as he used his thumbnail to scratch his jaw.
"I haven't had a chance to speak with him yet, but he will be suspended." The Captain promised.
"Suspended?!" Sebastian raised his voice, allowing his fury to be known. Pickman instantly looked back up at the enraged demon.
"What more do you want? He spread some unpleasant rumors. That hardly calls for suspension. I only suspended him to humor you." The Captain responded with a heavy sigh. And then something clicked in the man's eyes. Pickman stood up straighter to better come to their level. "Unless there's something more about him that you're not telling me?"
"Unfortunately, we have no idea if the man who spread the rumors is the same man guilty for another crime that was committed." Alucard answered before the demon could.
"What crime was committed?" Pickman asked as he folded his arms over his chest.
"Seras was sexually assaulted by one of your soldiers." Sebastian told him. The Captain's eyes widened before he lowered his gaze.
"Christ," He muttered softly.
"Do you have any reason to believe that the man spreading the rumors is the one who sexually assaulted her?" The demon asked.
"I can't say for sure." Pickman replied. "He has gotten in trouble in the past for getting handsy with a maid, so it's possible I suppose."
"Who is he?" Sebastian asked him while a menacing look lingered in his eyes. Pickman glanced back at the furious demon.
"I can't have you and Alucard killing someone who may be innocent. Until I know for sure that it's him, I'm not giving out his name." The Captain told them in a strict tone. "In the meantime, during training sessions and on missions, I'll watch over Seras and make sure she's never alone in a room." He promised. "While the man's on suspension, I'll do a thorough search on him to see if I can find anything." Even though Sebastian was more than frustrated that Pickman wouldn't give them a name, he did greatly appreciate his help.
"Thank you." The demon responded.
"Gentlemen," Walter greeted the three of them. Alucard turned to find the butler approaching their small group. The elderly man had a soft smile on his face as he looked over each of them with his dark brown eyes. "I hope you're all doing well tonight."
"Could be better." Pickman scoffed.
"Sorry to hear that." The butler replied with a frown. "Pardon for interrupting your conversation, gentlemen, but Sir Integra has called upon Alucard and Michaelis for a mission. It's in Bibury, but I think you'll both be pleased to know that it's a coven of high class vampires. They just might be a challenge." He grinned, knowing that Alucard will be enthralled to have an opponent that was actually a challenge for once.
"I'll be taking the Police Girl with me." Alucard informed him. Once more, the grin vanished from the butler's face.
"Are you sure that's a wise choice, Alucard?" Walter questioned with an arched brow. "The Police Girl can hardly take on chipped vampires. Up against high class vampires, she'll be torn apart. Besides, isn't tonight her night off?"
"You underestimate my Draculina." The elder vampire purred with a look of pride in his eyes. When up against ghouls and chipped vampires, his Draculina was nothing to scoff at. Knowing this bothered Alucard all the more, however. She was fully capable of defending herself, but she was so afraid to be viewed as a monster or villain that she didn't defend herself when up against a human. "She needs to see how real vampires battle." Alucard added, using it as an excuse to get his fledgling as far away from her perpetrator as possible. Perhaps while on the mission she will confide in them about who had assaulted her.
"The choice rests with the Police Girl. In the meantime, Sir Integra would like to give you a full briefing on your targets." Walter replied.
Seras was bent over the arm of the couch. She had been stripped naked with her arms tied tightly behind her back by her own belt. Ryan had a strong hold of her hips as he was balls deep inside of her. Despite him having already cum once, he proceeded to thrust hard and fast while moaning his pleasure. The silver knife was sticking out of her throat, keeping her from screaming or making any other sound. And her achilles tendons had been sliced to keep her from running or fighting back. Blood and tears were staining the pillow she had her face buried in. Her flat stomach was hot from rubbing across the arm of the couch from every thrust he gave. Having her eyes closed tightly, Seras did her best to block everything out. She wasn't here! She was anywhere else but here! All she could imagine was being in her mother's warm, loving arms. When she was little and got scared, her mother's arms felt like the safest place in the entire world. All Seras wanted in that moment was to be hidden away in her mother's chest with her arms wrapped around her. She could even trick herself into believing that she could hear her mother humming a familiar lullaby, a lullaby she hadn't heard in over ten years.
"Mum," Seras mouthed the word as she cried harder. With a final thrust, the man came. Ryan gave a hefty groan as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"Fuck," He panted. "Fuck me," All movement stopped while he gathered himself. She could hear his heart racing and felt his cock twitching inside of her. Closing her eyes even tighter, she ignored it all. "You can't tell me that didn't feel good." He smiled and buried his fingers in her hair to play with the strands. "I swear, that was twice as good as last time. Don't you think, baby?" Ryan asked as he grabbed her by the hips again and sunk his cock in her as deep as it would go. "I wish we could spend all night together, but people will start getting suspicious of why the lounge doors are locked." The grin widened on his face. "If you're not opposed to it, maybe we can meet up later in your room and pick up where we left off?" He then slid his slippery wet cock out of her. Standing up straight, he stuffed his cock back in his pants and zipped them up.
"Come here," He whispered as he gently grabbed Seras by the shoulder and lifted her up a little. Grabbing the knife by the handle, he carefully pulled it from her throat. Blood shot out of Seras' mouth as she coughed and gagged. Without even wiping the blade off, he slid the knife back in its holster that was hidden under his pant leg. "Find your clothes and get dressed before I open the door, babe." Ryan ordered as he undid the belt from around her sore, bruised wrists. When her arms were free they fell limp to her sides. She was terrified to move since her achilles tendons still hadn't fully knitted back together. Seras was quite against drinking blood, but after what happened she'll most definitely have to drink a bag or two to heal. Yes, she definitely needed to heal before Alucard and Sebastian saw her like this.
"Hurry it up a little." Ryan snapped, his tone giving off that he was losing his temper again. Not wanting to be taught another lesson, Seras weakly pushed herself off of the couch. Instead of risking anything by walking, she immediately stooped to the floor. Thankfully her clothes weren't out of reach. She slowly grabbed every article of clothing she could find and got dressed while she tried not thinking about what just happened to her for a second time. Seras had a great difficulty pulling on her panties and pants. She winced and whined when pulling the rough jeans over her injuries. Eventually she got them on. The entire thing kept replaying over and over again in her head. Her stomach felt like a pit her heart fell into. She hugged her legs to her chest while she mindlessly stared at the floor. Untangling the belt from around the door handles, he fastened it back around his pants.
"See you later, babe." With those final words, he left the lounge, leaving the small blonde alone with what was left of her film. The movie was nonexistent to her, however. She was drowning in nothing but self loathing and pity. Her bottom lip trembled as fresh tears welled in her sorrowful eyes. She wrapped her arms tighter around her legs before she finally broke down and cried freely.
"Mummy," Seras sobbed for her mother. She buried her tearstained face in the crease of her legs. "Mum!" I need you! I need you, Mum! She cried even harder when it all came crashing down on her. He raped her again! She pressed a shaking hand to her throat. Most of the stab wound had healed. There was nothing left but a thin cut leftover. When she tried fighting back he had punished her. Ryan was purely delusional! It was as if he believed she would come around and accept the relationship he wanted with her! It seemed as if he was also trying to train her to obey him! If she did something he didn't like, he would physically punish her! "Mum, what am I supposed to do?!" Did he truly think that she liked it?! That she was playing hard to get? Was he not comprehending that he was raping her or did he know and just got excitement out of raping helpless women?
Seras, Alucard reached her through their mind link. Upon hearing his voice, Seras shot up straight and gasped sharply. No! She thought to herself. She curled herself into a tighter ball, hoping to become so small that she would be invisible. Michaelis and I are going on a mission to Bibury. I want you to come with us. He demanded.
No! Seras answered without thinking. She was terrified of being left alone. She wanted to go with them more than anything. But the last thing she needed was Alucard and Sebastian finding her like this! It would be best if they just went so she could wash up and heal before they did see her! I don't want to go! She defied her master, praying that Alucard won't come looking for her for being so disrespectful.
I think it would be best if you came with us. Alucard tried using a strict tone, though she could hear that he sounded concerned.
Master, please. I just want to be left alone! Seras begged him. There was silence on his end for a moment. She bit deep into her bottom lip as she waited anxiously for a response. Would he yield or will he come looking for her? What would he do or say if he found her in this state? Would he understand what happened or would he interrogate her to get answers?
Very well. Alucard replied. Unbeknownst to the Draculina, her master had full intentions of having Pickman 'babysit' her so she wouldn't be alone. It could be a few hours before Michaelis and I return. If you need us, Seras, don't be afraid to contact us. Don't go. Was all she could think about. She needed them more than ever right then. She was so scared and needed their comfort. But she had to stay silent. This was her secret; Alucard and Sebastian will never have to know what happened.
Be careful, Master. The little vampire murmured, though she knew the monsters could take care of themselves. They hardly needed to be wished luck. The girl frowned as she thought about something. How can she have a healthy relationship with Alucard and Sebastian? They hadn't fully discussed it yet, so it wasn't like they were in an actual relationship. But Seras wanted to be. If Ryan had never…touched her, if Alucard and Sebastian had come forth with their feelings sooner, Seras would have wanted to explore her feelings and jump into a relationship with them.
But now what? Could they have a relationship? Unlike Ryan, she knew that Alucard and Sebastian would respect her and understand that if she said no, she meant it. They would respect her choice and never force her to do anything that made her uncomfortable. But she wanted that type of relationship with them. She wanted to share intimacy with them on a physical level. But after what happened, could she even…have sex again or was it forever ruined for her? Will it forever bring her trauma and give her panic attacks? Or…would it be…different with Alucard and Sebastian? Would she enjoy it?
What would a relationship with Alucard and Sebastian even look like? Would she be happy with them? Would they get along well? Would they go on dates, share the same bed, and be committed and faithful? There was so much that needed to be discussed with them, but she didn't know when it should be discussed. Her head was full of such chaotic thoughts and she was under so much stress. Was now even an appropriate time to bring up their relationship? Her mind felt like it was going in twelve different directions. She couldn't focus on one particular thing. She felt so detached from the world. She was scared, confused, angry, depressed, alone, and was missing her mum more than ever. She didn't know what to do. But she was certain about one thing: there was no way in hell she could go back to her room. Ryan planned on going to her room later tonight to proceed where he left off. She had no intention of being found by him. But this brought up a new question she needed an answer to: where can she hide from him?
Seras jumped when someone showed up in her peripheral vision. Turning her head she found a young looking soldier. She had no idea his age, but he had such a baby face. He looked all the more innocent with curly blonde hair and light blue eyes. She seemed to have startled him because when he spotted her his soul practically left his body.
"Oh!" The young soldier exclaimed before he clutched his chest as if he just suffered from a heart attack. "Oh my god!" He then laughed with a bright smile. "I didn't know anyone was in here! You gave me quite a start!" When seeing the look of misery on Seras' face, his smile fell. He noticed immediately that there was blood in her hair, her shirt was torn and drenched in blood, and that she had been crying. Was she covered in blood because she just got back from a mission? Curiously, he glanced at the TV to see that she had been watching You've Got Mail. Was she crying because of the movie or for a different reason? "Are you alright?" He asked as he glanced back down at her. Seras looked him up and down. She knew what answer she wanted to give, but her mouth struggled to tell another lie. It took a few seconds longer than she would've liked, but she got control over her mouth again.
"I'm fine," She answered. The young soldier's frown deepened, knowing that she was lying. Hesitantly, the kid sat down beside her on the floor. He figured that she just needed a little bit of kindness to make her day a little better.
"You're still pretty new to the organization. It's hard being the new kid, but it's especially hard being a vampire and the only woman on a team full of men. I'm guessing nobody has really warmed up to you yet, huh? I mean…I've noticed that you kind of spend a lot of your time by yourself. It must be pretty lonely." The young soldier proceeded on softly. He then gave her a friendly smile and held out a hand. "I'm sorry that I haven't properly introduced myself until now. I'm Braxton Veney." Not wanting to be rude, Seras lightly shook his hand. His smile faltered slightly. "Listen, I know that you're lying when you say that you're fine. You clearly have been crying. I don't know what's bothering you exactly, but if it's those rumors going around, don't let them bother you." His hand slipped from hers. "So you know, most of the soldiers on our team know that the rumors are false." Hearing this did make Seras feel slightly better, even though that wasn't the reason why she was crying in the first place. She blinked at the kid who smiled so warmly at her.
"You…don't believe them?" The Draculina asked him.
"No," Braxton snickered. "Ryan is the biggest arsehole I know. You should never believe anything that comes out of his mouth."
"So Ryan is the one who spread the rumors?" Seras asked. She then clicked her tongue and sighed. "I knew it. Fucking prick," Her little comment made the young soldier laugh. His laugh was so youthful and jovial sounding, it was charming to her ears.
"A huge prick," He agreed. "But just ignore him. And remember, you've got a load of us on your side ready to back you up whenever needed." For the first time in a while, Seras smiled.
"Thank you," She whispered. Her response seemed to have surprised the kid. He cocked his head to the side as he furrowed his brows in confusion.
"For what?" He asked.
"For being so kind." Seras replied. The smile fell completely from his face then while he gave her a sympathetic look.
"That's really sad that you have to thank someone for showing you a little human decency." Braxton muttered. "I guess nobody has really shown you any kindness then, huh? Sorry. I can't speak for everyone else, but I was hesitant speaking to you. I realize now how rude that was of me. You probably needed a friend your first week here at the Organization."
"It would have been nice." Seras responded with a shrug. "But I don't blame anyone for not saying hi to me."
"And why is that?" Braxton asked her.
"Because I'm a vampire. We're supposed to hunt vampires, so it must be weird for you and everyone else to have a vampire on your team." She explained.
"Not really," The kid snickered. "You forget, Alucard was here before you. We were already used to having a vampire on our side. But, honestly, we prefer you over Alucard. You're more approachable and nice. We're less likely to get our heads ripped off by you." He laughed. He finally earned a laugh from her.
"I'm sorry about my master. He can be hard to get along with." Seras apologized on his behalf.
"Honestly, it's stranger having a woman on our team than a vampire." He admitted. "I guess we just didn't know how to properly deal with that, so none of us were too friendly the first several weeks. I promise it'll be different from now on."
"That will be nice." The Draculina replied with a genuine smile. It'll be nice to make real friends and feel like she finally belongs on the team. It might make things a little easier. And maybe Ryan will finally back off when seeing how many people were willing to stand up for her. Her smile grew. "Thank you, Braxton. I hope we grow to be good friends."
"Me too," The young soldier responded with another bright, warm smile. "And I hope you're starting to feel better." Not entirely.
"I am," She lied. She did feel slightly better, but physically she was still in pain. Some of her wounds hadn't fully healed, her sex was burning from the rough fucking, and her veins felt like they had dried up. She needed to feed soon. Braxton then pointed at her.
"Is that your blood or did you just return from a mission?" He asked. "If you need me to, I can run and get the medical officer." He offered.
"That's not necessary, thanks. I just need a blood bag or two." Seras replied with a nervous smile.
"But you're okay?" He asked to be sure.
"Yeah," She proceeded to lie. "I'm sorry. But I need to go shower and change."
"Alright. I guess I'll see you around then. Maybe later we can do some target practice together?" He suggested.
"Sure!" Seras answered as excitement shone in her eyes. Has she finally made a genuine friend? Her achilles tendons had nearly finished knitting itself back together. But she was confident enough that she would be able to walk or at least stagger. Pushing off the floor, Seras carefully stood up. The back of her legs were very sore and a little stiff, but it was definitely better than it was earlier. As she turned, the Draculina spotted something that made her heart sink. The pillow she had used to hide from the world while Ryan had his fun, it was wet from tears and blood. Seras peeked out of the corner of her eye at Braxton, trying to make sure he hadn't seen it. Thankfully, the young soldier was preoccupied with the film.
Quickly, but as casually as she could without drawing attention to her, she grabbed the pillow and hugged it to her body to prevent anyone from seeing the evidence. Great! Where was she going to put this?! It was too big to just throw away! Her only other option was to hide it somewhere. But where? Seras gnawed on her bottom lip as she tried ever so hard to be nonchalant while she walked out of the lounge. Hopefully nobody recognizes the pillow from the lounge and stops to question why she was stealing it. She kept her head lowered and her eyes glued to the floor, hoping that if she didn't notice anyone then they wouldn't notice her.
Fortunately, she made it through the manor and to the basement without running into anyone. Unfortunately, she was far too scared to descend further into the basement in fear that Ryan would be waiting for her in her room. Subconsciously, Seras was driving her fangs so deep into her bottom lip that she was unaware of the blood running down her chin. There was no way in hell she was going to her room! But…she needed to shower, put on fresh clothes, and drink some blood to heal herself. And then an idea struck her. Well…Sebastian has a bathroom and fresh clothes. An extra perk is that Ryan would probably be too scared to go that far in the basement in fear of running into the Hellsing's monsters.
Another question then popped in her head. But what about blood? Sebastian does drink blood to temporarily satisfy his hunger for souls, but the occasion is rare. Once more, a solution came to her. Master likes to keep blood on him in case he's ever hungry. He must have some blood bags in his room. Ryan definitely wouldn't enter her master's chambers; it was the most perfect hiding spot. Seras felt better when coming up with a plan. To prevent being seen or caught by Ryan, the little vampire began making her way through the basement to the demon's room. Okay, shower and change in Sebastian's room and then hide out in Master's room. But what about the pillow? The Draculina glanced down at the pillow that she was still hugging to her body. She'll just have to tuck it away somewhere nobody will be able to find it. Maybe in a spare room that was used for storage?
