Warning; In this part has a panic attack moment.
*2 hours and 34 minutes later.*
When they had arrived in England, they saw Wintrop running to the train and lucky for everyone, he made it there.
"If Wintrhop would see us, I wouldn't know what to do." Bentley said, where they all agreed.
"See, us." Julia repeats Bentley's words in her mind and starts to think 'what if -situation'.
They started to walk on the doors, when a child with his mother noticed Kate and Julia.
"Mummy look, they look like my classmates!" A boy shouted and pointed to the girls.
Kate smiled back and waved to him, but unfortunately, Julia couldn't do anything. It wasn't because that boy had seen them, her thinking was turned now into an overthinking.
Julia knows what is going to happen now, but her headphones are in her backpack and she feels that she can't breathe.
"Guys, wait!" Others heard Kate shouting and they saw how Kate tried to calm Julia, with breathing technique, who sat on the ground.
"Oh no." Bentley mumbled and they came closer.
Vexen managed to take a step, when she noticed that people started to stop around them. Without thinking, Vexen took her father' badge in a bag and walked closer to them.
"Everything is under control!" Vexen raises her voice, while showing her father's badge.
"Ladies and gentlemans, please let them have air, so I don't have to call an ambulance!"
People around them looked like they were waking up and started to scatter. Vexen saw the kid looking at the situation behind her mother.
"Take care of her, I'll be right back." She said and walked closer to the mother and her son.
"Hello." Vexen greeted them, while walking closer.
"Officer I'm sorry, I didn't see this coming." A mother apologized, where Vexen shook her head.
"Don't worry, if you don't mind, may I talk for your son?" She asked. Womens looked at a boy, who tried to hide himself more.
"Am I going to jail now?" A boy whispered, holding her mother's long skirt with both hands.
"No, not at all," Vexen said, while crouched in front of him.
"You just looked scared. Are you okay?"
A boy was quiet for a while and looked at his sneakers. Finally he took a step closer to Vexen.
"Well, that looked kind of scary…" He whispered, while swallowing a hard piece on his throne.
Vexen looked behind her and saw how Kate helped her friend up, while Murray took Julia's suitcase. Sly nodded with his head that they would go ahead and Vexen nodded to him invisible.
"It's called a panic attack. Yes, it looks scary, but you don't need to be afraid of that. It's going away in time, think about it like a wind." Vexen explained to the kid.
Seeing how the kid looked still afraid, -but getting calmed- gave Vexen an idea.
"Before I go. Do you wanna play the police for a while with my badge?" Vexen asked, where the boy looked with his eyes to her and nodded shyly.
Vexen took her father's badge from her pocket and gave it to the boy, whose eyes started to shine.
"I thought that this was heavy, but it's not." He said and raised his arm to the pigeons.
"You are under arrest!" He shouted and the pigeons flew away.
A kid laughed with joy, while the adults hid their smiles and looked at each other.
"What do we say?" A mother asked her son, when he gave the badge back to Vexen.
"Thank you." A boy thanked her and so did her mother.
A mother and son walked away holding hands, where Vexen couldn't hold her smile and she had to wave, before she came to search for the other.
Still the word 'officer' gives her flashbacks when she was an interpol agent, where she sighed in a nostalgic way. Or maybe a little bit wistful.
"No, don't you dare think of your past like that, Ca… Vexen. Think about it as the last chapter." She thought, shaking her head.
Vexen walked out of the train station and spotted Sly and teens on the bench.
"Hey, feeling better?" Vexen asked, while walking closer to them.
Julia raised her head looking at Vexen and saw her worried.
"Almost." She got an answer from the youngest one.
"And where's the others?" Vexen asked and looked everywhere.
"Kit came to buy some drinks for her, while the others went to get a van. It's around 15 minutes away from here." Sly explained, and they heard Kit coming closer, with a small smoothie bottle in her hand.
"I'm sorry about that." Julia said, when she was back herself.
"Julia, how many times do I have to say that: Don't apologize about everything." Kate said and sat on the bench.
"But…"
"No no no, I don't listen to excuses." Kate stopped Julia, shaking her forefinger in front of her.
Suddenly a silver van drove to the train station and they saw when boys and Penelope came out of that.
"What do you think?" Murray asked, when they stepped outside.
"It looks like your van." Vexen said, where he agreed.
"How are you feeling Julia?" Penelope asked, who nodded and replied her apology.
Kate snarled and closed her eyes, letting her head lean behind.
"What's wrong with that?" Murray asked, where Julia stood up and took her suitcase.
"We should get going, we have a long journey ahead."
