I want to make the point clear to everyone who is watching this. As some of you know, I previously adopted the "Akko Kagari and the Gospel of Aradia" series by Red Reef. It is a series that I was a fan of for a while and one that I did enjoy reading. Throughout the process of writing the fanfic, I have been very respectful and understanding of the vision presented in their writing and the notes that have been presented to me. While I did not agree with everything written down I still decided to try, but of course, I had my own visions in mind. Those visions that were presented were also due to my lack of understanding of the novel and their lack of presenting them to me in a short period of time. And when they showed them I changed my way of thinking to try and match their wavelength. However, I still found it hard to work with Red Reef due to all my big ideas for the future of the story being shut down. He didn't even accept ANY of them, which I found aggravating and hard to work with. I respectfully asked for simply a little more freedom, that was all, and in the end, you decided to ignore me for weeks to a month. And yes, I did say I was going to publish the rest of the chapters myself but still credit them of course. But in the end, I backed out of that not cause issues and confusion. Instead, I simply decided to cut ties with Red Reef because I found no reason to work with such a person anymore. I am a writer who chose to write for free, on a story this person gave up on. I have no complaints about having a beta-reader, but this person gave me no leg room and I found them to be curt and very rude towards me. I saw no respect in this relationship and I felt as if my time was wasted. I honestly find it baffling how crude and self-centered Red Reef is and this response shows it. It shows that DID see my messages and continued to ignore me like a child. I also respectfully asked that if he would not agree to my terms to simply delete the chapter I wrote and to end the partnership respectfully, but they have yet to do that. I was a fan of his, a fan who asked respectfully if I could write the series, free of charge, a series you LITERALLY GAVE UP ON. Obviously I had my own ideas, who doesn't with a story they enjoy? Still, I tried not to stray from the path but also ended with some notes that I thought would make the story more interesting. You turned them all done and to me, Red Reef was curt and rude. And now you are presenting yourself as some sort of victim against an enemy. I am no enemy, I am not fighting you on this, I don't have the time or energy. Which is why I said I was done and I will make that announcement. I do not plan to have this up for long because I don't want this pathetic excuse for drama to ruin this. Have a good day everyone.
