Hello one and all to another chapter of Pokemon SVTA and after that action-packed chapter that was Ash's first Elite Four battle, the gang are about to leave when they're suddenly interested in a cave full of mysterious Tera Energy that Dean wants to explore. It's on this journey they're accompanied by the chef Petunia, an old friend of Sada and Turo and one of the researchers who went down with the two long ago and a disguised Carmine who is trying to investigate the team.

Meanwhile, a mysterious Paradox Pokemon named Iron Boulder follows along having the same goal. Will Carmine's dynamic with the group change? What will they discover down there and what's causing all this Tera energy?

Cover Story 57: Road to Reunion 5: The Next Round Part 2 (finale)

Last time on Road to Reunion,

Serena and May make it to the next round of the Tournament and just as they were ready to go, the twins Carol and Manuel poisoned their rival's Pokemon and Serena and May's competitors also dropped for 'unknown reasons' causing them to move on to the next and final round. During training, Serena worries that they'll lose against them, but May encourages her saying she's faced similar hills before but even during the toughest of them, she never gave in. Serena remembers her journeys with Ash, Clemont and Bonnie and how much she grew as a trainer and performer.

Serena nods and begins training once again. The next day, both Serena and May were ready to go as they were up against Carol and Manuel intent on winning and hopefully ending their annoying antics once and for all. Serena and May send out their Delphox and Venusaur respectively while their Carol and Manuel send out their Roserade and Swampert respectively. The match begins and Carol calls out to Roserade to launch Petal Blizzard and Manuel calls to Swampert to use Icy Wind and both do so with Roserade launching a series of petals towards them while Swampert covers them with ice causing them to freeze and become much harder.

Both Serena and May do the same with style, so Venusaur launches her own Petal Blizzard while Delphox uses Magical Fire causing the leaves to be on fire and clashing with the frozen leaves melting them and bypassing them but before they could hit, Delphox uses Psychic to control the leaves and proceeded to have fun by making various patterns and swirls with her stick wand controlling the leaves going back and forth, swirling around before landing on the two opposing Pokemon scoring them points for the move and it's creative use while also awarding the opponents the same deal but have lesser than May and Serena's points.

Max cheers them on alongside Serena's sick Pancham. The opposing duo grit their teeth saying they aren't going to lose here and so both Swampert and Roserade use Icy Wind and Grassy Terrain allowing for the ground to turn to ice. Roserade skates on it as Delphox and Venusaur have trouble finding their footing allowing Rosie to call out Grassy Glide to knock both Pokemon off of their balance before Swampert launches a Rock Tomb towards the both of them damaging them and scoring the duo points. Swampert skid across the ice preparing to use Liquidation as Roserade coats Swampert's hands with Sludge Bomb and both mons skid together but Serena had a plan and told May.

She tells Delphox to use Magical Fire on the ice and Delphox does so melting the ice and both Pokemon trip allowing May to call out to Venusaur in using Earth Power which sends the 2 Pokemon flying and seeing them heavily damaged, both girls look to each other and nod as the opposing Pokemon get up. Serena and May call out to their Pokemon to use Shadow Ball and Energy Ball respectively as they both nod and launch their attacks which both collide with one another swirling together towards the Pokemon as the moves explode and knock out the Pokemon.

The judges gather their final total for both teams and Team Doll (Carol and Manuel) received a total of 150 which worried May and Serena but fortunately for Team Blossom, they score 165 winning the tournament much to Team Blossom's shock and approval while Team Doll were disappointed. But to the opposing team's surprise, May and Serena offer a handshake towards a good competition and so does their Pokemon shocking them. May and Serena admit that while they don't approve of their actions, they don't want to further escalate things and only just want to say good match.

Realizing their actions, they admit they were jealous of May and Serena's respective fields with Carol wanting to be a great performer like Serena but were always overshadowed by Serena's accomplishments while Manuel is similar when it came to being a Pokemon Coordinator. They realize how far their jealousy went and agreed to turn themselves in for their actions all while apologizing to Serena and May hoping one day to communicate with them on a friendly level. Both Serena and May get on the podium and receive their medals and trophy for their win as Serena and May feel happy.

An agent of the Paldean Contest league named Haruko goes up to them with interest as she suggests them participating in the Levincia Contest Battle together in the coming days as a final challenge to the competitors. This surprises the two but Haruko knows their talents and says that she's willing to put on more competitions for them in the future along with respective contests for coordinating and contests for May and Serena, they both agree and the crowd cheers on. Later that day, Serena was looking outside admiring the view getting her bags ready when May and Max came in to talk a bit.

As they did, news came on about Ash's first Elite Four Battle in Oresville which isn't too far from Levincia, this causes the 3 to be happy that Ash is achieving his goals but also happy that possibly, they might see Ash again. Knowing what happened last time, Serena gets renewed determination and vows to see Ash again if he's ever in Levincia to reminisce on their respective journeys.

Cover Story 58: Tales from the Lab 2 (Kanto Edition): Never Change

Muk was a bit unique, he was caught at a power plant and was sent to Oak's for being a bit too 'smelly', despite that, he's respected and cared for by Ash and got along with everyone at the lab, but Muk couldn't help but feel that people didn't want to be around him. When he tries to hang out with Snivy, Bayleef, Unfezant and Talonflame, they often go away from him. The Water Pokemon that weren't Ash's often trying to push him away fearing that he would ruin the water while other Mons worried that Muk's smell would ruin the flora of their environment.

Muk, feeling sad trudges along to find somewhere secluded where no one can bother him but unbeknownst to him, there was someone who did care for him. A Pokemon sat down to the crying Muk being the mischievous Gengar who liked to trick Ash's other Pokemon but was otherwise friendly and adjusted to his new home quickly, Gengar handed Muk an Oran Berry before confiding in him understanding the loneliness having experienced it himself back at Cerise's Lab before being caught by Ash. Muk explains that he just wants to be friendly towards everyone, but he drives people away with his scent and misunderstanding.

Gengar tries to reassure him that they just didn't understand him and that he's sure they'll understand Muk as a person if they get to know him a bit better, but Muk doesn't see that way and tries to make himself look better so they can like Muk, and he trudges off. Gengar appeared worried for him as he worried Muk might end up getting hurt, so he follows the Sludge Pokemon. Muk tries to make himself look good by finding a pleasant-smelling 2 flowers he puts on his head, that didn't erode and gathered Berries and practiced talking to himself in a reflection in the pond talking more fancier and being calmer in action, but Gengar sees it as trying to get rid of the person who's more lively.

Muk goes to his fellow Pokemon and speaks in a fancy tone providing berries for everyone despite their hesitance at first, but they start to enjoy this new Muk which only made Gengar disappointed in them for only liking that Muk. Muk afterwards admits how much he's impressed everyone but feels stressed about trying to appeal to everyone with his new personality. Sensing his distress, Gengar flies down but before neither of them could say anything, they see a group of Pokemon swarm by in the foliage and a scream was heard as Muk and Gengar go and see flowers ruined and damage done.

Snivy accuses Muk of doing this, but Muk denies it but unfortunately, the other mons don't believe Muk except Gengar so Muk trudges off crying. Gengar notices a footprint of a Scyther in the ground and realizing it was them, Gengar had enough. Gengar called out to the Pokemon that Scyther was responsible and that Muk doesn't have any feet, he calls them out on trying to blame Muk and asks what he ever did to hurt them and the Pokemon realized, he never did anything malicious and Gengar says that he can't change the way he smells because of the Pokemon he is but that doesn't determine one's character.

Gengar says that the reason Gengar acted like that today was that he hoped that people can like him for who he is as an individual and not for how people see him as. Realizing they've been a jerk to Muk, they go and search for him. Muk was trudging along seeing a gate nearby, thinking that maybe no one wanted him, not even Ash but before he could go through, they hear screaming and Muk goes to see various Grass types and Comfey bullied by the Scyther. Muk goes to help them preparing to fight the 3 Scyther.

Muk uses Sludge Bomb to try to brush them off as Scyther kept attacking with Aerial Aces and Night Slashes as Muk tried using Knock Off and Facade (2 moves Muk has learned since it's last appearance while in the Lab) against them but they were just too fast but before Muk could be defeated, Gengar comes in and uses Shadow Ball to knock away one Scyther and Gengar tells Muk to not give up and asks what he wants, Muk responds with wanting to help others and making them happy causing Gengar to tell him to uses that as his goal and use that fiery spirit within him to keep moving forward.

Muk's hand starts to heat up and uses Fire Punch against the other Scyther and before using Sludge Bomb on the 3rd Scyther causing the 3 to run away. Muk laid down tired but the Grass Pokemon and Comfey praised him for his heroism. Ash's other mons find him and were relieved, Snivy works up the courage to apologize for her accusation of Muk and the others follow suit, they admit that they were unsure of Muk, but it was no excuse towards how they treated him, and they want to make amends. Muk wants to but feels like he needs space and some rest.

The next day, Muk was surprised to see everyone come to him with tons of berries praising him for who is, Muk tears up finally having a place within the Lab as he begins the bond with everyone with tons of work going in forgiveness and eventual bonds for time to come.

Main Story

It was another day in the Paldea Region, a day after Ash's battle with Poppy and the gang were making preparations towards Levincia towards Nemona's next Gym Battle. Nemona was seen training with her Pokemon while Penny scolded her for not watching the egg (which was in an egg capsule) with Floragato and Espeon and Arven was trying something a bit different for breakfast today as they waited for Ash and Pikachu to get back from the Pokemon Center. Nemona noticed Arven, Morada and Garganacl looking over some Tera Crystals as she got curious.

"Don't tell me we're munching on crystals for breakfast." Nemona says as Arven shakes his head.

"Unless you want to that is. No, I'm trying to make the special Tera dish." Arven says.

"That one dish you told us the other day? I thought you told us that lady only taught a certain few her secrets?" Penny asks as Arven nods.

"Indeed, but if I want to change your Pokemon's Tera Types on the road, I got to master this recipe even if I don't actually know it." Arven says as Nemona got curious.

"Alright, since this dish requires someone of immense skill and talent, what does this dish look like? Is it an omelet, some fried rice, porridge?" Nemona asks as Arven explains.

"It's a soup or traditional Pokemon food, one that integrates the shards so well that you won't even notice in taste although you will notice by the color of the soup depending on the Tera Type." Arven says as Ash and Pikachu return wearing a leaf crowns on their head as he walks alongside Leavanny.

"Hey guys, what are you talking about?" Ash asks as the 3 trainers look at Ash and Pikachu surprised by the new leaf crowns of sorts.

"Ash, what are you wearing? Is it a new Champion clothing?" Nemona asks with curiosity as Ash scratches the back of his head.

"Uhhh no. That's my Leavanny's style of things." Ash says as Leavanny had stars in his eyes upon seeing his friends that he immediately rushed over to dress them in his leaf clothing of sorts which surprised the gang but surprisingly felt comfortable as the gang enjoyed them.

"Wow, Leavanny, they feel very comfortable. I bet you make a lot of this stuff at home for your friends. We got to talk about more of your designs." Penny said bonding with the Nurturing Pokemon as he had stars in his eyes, proud of the new friends he made and thought about his fellow friends at home and his new love Dragonite and the Egg they're raising (See Cover Story 41 for context).

Arven steps forward, "Alright, we were just discussing how I can make my food into a way that Petunia makes her food, the one where it can change one's Tera Type and I think I got it down, how would one of your Pokemon love to try it?" Arven says as Ash got interested especially Cyclizar who came out of his Pokeball. "And we have our first taste tester, come on down Cyclizar." Arven says placing down a bowl of soup.

"Behold, Fire Tera Soup, with one taste, you shall experience the changing of Tera types and heaven." Arven says as Nemona and Penny were concerned as the dish displayed a sense of dread and a skull popping out of the soup. "It's also for humans too, you may not change Tera types but they say there's an extra taste for humans." Arven says giving some soup to Ash as he and Cyclizar were excited.

"Ready to dig in Cyclizar!?" Ash asks.

"Zar, Zar!" Cyclizar says as they both drink the soup, the next thing everyone didn't expect was them fainting with their ghosts leaving their body as Pikachu, Leavanny, Nemona and Penny stared at Arven who nervously laughs.

"So, it might need a few tinks, a few Tinkatuffs to work out." Arven says nervously as Leavanny sighed and looked to Pikachu.

"Leavan." Leavanny said as Pikachu nods as Leavanny rubs his hands on Pikachu's fur before lining his hands above Ash's chest, "Leavan!" Leavanny says placing his electrified hands onto Ash and Cyclizar waking them up much to the relief of everyone.

"How do you feel Ash and Cyclizar?" Penny asked.

"Cyc, Cyc, Cyclizar, Cyclizar. (I feel that 5 years was taken from me)" Cyclizar says as Ash had the opposite feeling.

"It was delicious!" Ash says as Arven, Penny and Nemona sighed.

"Of course it was." all 3 say laughing as Carmine and her Mimikyu watched them in the distance wearing sunglasses, a sunhat and holding a newspaper looking at them with jealousy and yet intrigue.

Look at those brats having a good laugh, Ash doesn't even look that strong with that goofiness and yet he's the strongest trainer alive and has... a great friend group. I want that. Carmine thought to herself sadly but shrugged it off. Damn it Carmine Rayne Tachibana, focus! I need to be Ash's all- no, I mean, drive him out of Paldea and then brag to my friends back home in Kitakami- no! Why am I thinking of that boring place and why do I care? Dang it, focus! I've gotten stronger since then, I can surpass that brat and Nemona, I'll show- Carmine didn't finish her thoughts as she heard yelling in the distance.

"Ash!" a male voice was heard as Ash turned to see Dean and his Squawkabilly who was running towards them.

"Hey Dean. By yourself today?" Ash says as Dean nods.

"Yeah, Sarah and Verde decided to take a girls day off to explore the town for Verde's birthday and I want to find something that signifies my friendship and my feelings for her." Dean says with happiness as hearts appear outside of him as Penny, Nemona and Leavanny awwed at him.

"Aww, someone has a little crush./Leavan." Penny, Nemona and Leavanny say as Dean blushed.

"C'mon... The problem is, I want to find a gift that can leave a lasting impression and I'm also dealing with uncertainty, not just with my gift but also my Treasure, I thought I knew but now I don't." Dean pulled out a special wooden heart that had Verde's name written regularly and in braille. "I got her this and it's nice, but I know she would like something more." Dean says.

"C'mon Dean, be yourself, people should be themselves when confessing their feelings to another." Nemona encouraged as Dean sighs.

"I know but I know she'll like something even more, a special bracelet made out of the rarest metal in Paldea and I know where to find it. The Tera Caverns." Dean said with a smirk catching the gang's attention including Carmine and a nearby woman with a mechanical left arm from another day (aka Chapter 43) and her Chesnaught.

"You're going down to Tera Caverns? It's not exactly a place someone should go into alone." Arven says as Ash got curious.

"Is it because it's a cave and you get lost?" Ash says as Arven nods.

"Well yes but there's even more to that." Arven says bringing out the Scarlet Book. "According to the Scarlet Book, the Tera Caverns wasn't just the name of one cave here in this town but multiple, said to have been formed by an inner connection to Area Zero. But as time went on, the more that these caverns disappeared." Arven says as Nemona got curious.

"Like a cave in?" Nemona says as Arven shakes his head.

"No, they literally just disappeared out of thin air. No one, not even my mom or dad know why this is but from the surviving accounts of those who went in and went out, they saw their companions disappear out of thin air, never to be seen again almost as if they never existed in the first place." Arven says as the gang were frightened.

"Never to be seen again huh? All those families" Penny says.

"Even know my mom and dad don't know, they have their own leading theories but they both connect to the same source, Terapagos." Arven says getting their attention as Ash remembers Sada talking briefly about that Pokemon.

"Didn't your mom talk about Terapagos before?" Ash asks as Arven nods.

"Yeah, they believe Terapagos was responsible for the creation of these caves. In truth, Terapagos isn't just a singular Pokemon, there used to be multiple of them, having thrived in the Region and having spread Terastalization to the Region." Arven says.

"But judging by how you're wording it, it sounds like they died off or disappeared." Dean says intrigued but sad as Arven sadly nods.

"Indeed, it once thrived in ancient Paldea but as the environment changed, more and more Terapagos's disappeared like they never existed and as time went on, they were thought to have been extinct with the last surviving account being 200 years ago by Heath who went down to investigate Terapagos, the result is the drawing you commonly see." Arven says turning the page to the picture the gang saw back at Sada's, the mysterious eldritch Pokemon.

"And so, the Tera Caverns here could be a Terapagos?" Penny says as Arven shrugs.

"I can't say for certain. Even though I say it's Terapagos's doing, some caverns have reported nothing in them which my mom concludes as being similar to Tera Dens which have no activity from Terapagos so for all I know, that cavern is a bit of mystery." Arven says as Dean got excited as Penny sighed.

Oh boy, it's going to be one of those episodes, isn't it? Penny thought to herself disappointingly.

"Then even more reason to explore down there!" Dean says as Ash holds onto his shoulder.

"Wait Dean, you can't just go in alone like that, if you're going in there, you shouldn't be by yourself. Let me help you out." Ash says as Penny, Arven and Nemona panic too.

"Are you crazy! You are strong but don't forget, you're our friend too!" Nemona says as Arven and Penny nod.

"So let us come with you, we'll all go in, find your platinum or whatever, see what's up and get out of there." Arven says as a shadow covered him and Morada as he turns around and sees a familiar sight.

"Hold on, a bunch of brats heading down to a place where one can get lost or disappeared. You have to be the most reckless kid around." the shadow disappears to reveal the woman with the mechanical left arm and her Chesnaught as Arven recognizes her as her frown turned to a smirk, "But then again, you are Sada's kid so I should probably expect that." the woman said as she opened her arms.

"Petunia!" Arven says hugging her as Petunia chuckled.

"Hey there shorty, I see you still need some milk." Petunia joked as Arven comedically frowns.

"I'm 16, I'm plenty tall, taller than my mom." Arven said confidently but Petunia pointed to Nemona.

"Yeah, but still shorter than green hair here." Petunia says bluntly as Arven gasped comedically as Nemona smirked.

"Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Petunia Picante, owner of Treasure Eatery and a good friend of Arven's mother. I was once the chef and scientist in her crew." Petunia says getting the gang's attention including Arven's as Petunia doesn't mention that she was also Turo's friend, and he led the expedition those years ago.

"So, what are you doing out here Petunia? Are you here to finally teach me your special reci-"

"No." Petunia bluntly interrupts causing Arven to comedically faint. "But I do acknowledge your cooking skills, I only teach my Tera recipe to those who're ready." Petunia says getting Arven's interest.

"But as for the reason I'm out here, I usually come out when my soul asks me to, discovering new recipes to help provide new and tasty dishes in the Paldea Region for both people and Pokemon." Petunia says as Ash, Pikachu, Nemona and Pawmo imagine the most delicious food by her. "And there's one other reason too, the Tera Caverns. I'm not going to sit by and watch kids lose their damn life over exploring some cave. Your parents would miss you dearly and you may know a Tinka-ton about the Terastalization and its mechanics Arven but don't forget, you're still a kid and have a life to live." Petunia says looking concerned for the boy and everyone.

"Petunia..." Arven says as Petunia sighs.

"So, if you're going down there, you might as well bring someone whose expert about this stuff. So, allow me to join you on this adventure plus, I don't want to explain to your mother about-" Petunia was interrupted by Arven.

"Wait, I get it, you can come along!" Arven says as Petunia nods.

"Alright, pack your stuff, we're going on our own Terastal expedition." Petunia says as Carmine watches on in the distance gritting her teeth.

They have to change plans all of a sudden, I wasn't fast enough. I can't keep following from behind, they'll suspect eventually but I need to know more about them... Hmm, wait, I remember playing a sassy rich girl in a school play once, why not do that again. Those brats won't suspect a thing. Carmine thought to herself.

A little while later, the gang make it to the Tera Caverns entrance as it looked like a normal cave entrance but something on the inside felt strange and off but they didn't know what would occur in those cursed caves.

"So, this is Tera Caverns. Doesn't seem too grand for something called that." Penny says.

"The outside might not appear appealing to the naked eye but it's what's on the inside that might entice the curious fellow." Petunia says as she sends out her Mudsdale who creates a large stone from the ground before Petunia returned her.

"What's the stone for?" Nemona asks.

"It's simple, say Ash, could you have your Leavanny create and wrap his web around this rock and have him tie some webs on everyone." Petunia says as Ash nods looking to Leavanny who nods and creates tight string that he wraps around the rock.

"Oh, so we're wrapping our bodies around the thread so that we can work our way back?" Dean says as Petunia nods.

"Better safe than sorry." Petunia says as they all heard laughing in the distance.

"Better safe than sorry indeed chaps. Hahhaahahaha!" a deeper voice was heard as they turn around and see a familiar girl as the gang cringe except Ash who tried to stay normal. She had a pompous blue dress, makeup and was definitely not Carmine, she was also carrying a fan.

"May we help you 'madame'?" Nemona says.

"Why yes, I've been looking for some bodyguards to help me explore this 'Tera Caverns'. I come from a rich geologist family, and I've been selected as heir to the... Carmicheal family. I Carrrrrrrrmen Broke Carmicheal will explore this cave and be a worthy heir to the family. Tut tut tut." Carmin- err Carmen says as Nemona nods reluctantly.

"Ok Carrrrrrrrrrmen Broke Carmicheal, you want us to be your bodyguards? What are you searching for exactly?" Nemona says as Carmen glared at her but kept a smug smile.

"Oh, don't worry your pretty little head about what I do, and you protect me, I'll pay you all handsomely." Carmen said smugly as Nemona's eyes twitched but smiled.

"Can I see you for a second Ash." Nemona says as she brings him far away from Carmen. "You can see through her guise, can you? It's Carmine." Nemona says as Ash nods.

"Oh, I know." Ash says as Nemona sighs.

"So, let's kick her out, she'll hold us back, maybe we should leave her in-"

"Nemona!" Ash interrupted surprising both Pikachu, Nemona and Pawmo as Nemona sighed apologetically.

"I know, I'm sorry. I- I just don't like her." Nemona says as Ash nods.

"I know, but it's never ok to say something like that even to the person you hate. I admit that I'm a bit too trusting or forgiving towards people and rivals and their actions such as when I was in Sinnoh and Unova. I can't excuse their actions, but I at least want to give them the benefit of the doubt and learn more about them. My mother taught me this and I decided to use that as my moral code as a Champion and something I want you to learn if you want to become a Champion-Ranked trainer. 'Even if you don't like someone, always treat them as your equal, put on a smile no matter how annoyed you are and learn more about them as people. There might be some people who can't change as a person, or their actions might be inexcusable but lashing out will only make things worse. So put on a smile and hope for the best.' is what my mother says." Ash says as Nemona sighed reluctantly.

"Alright, I'll try. I might not agree with some of your things but if I do want to mature and grow as a Champion one day, I'll have to at least try." Nemona says as Ash smiles.

"That's the spirit!" Ash says as the return to the group.

"So have you thought about it?" Carmen says as Nemona nods.

"Alright, we'll guide you but stick close to us and don't go off on your own." Nemona says with a reluctant smile as Carmen nods also reluctantly smiling as Leavanny wraps the web round Carmen's waist. The gang got to the entrance prepared to face the unknown. Penny then noticed Nemona carrying her egg and gritted her teeth.

"Nemona, that's dangerous to carry around with you in the cave!" Penny scolded as Nemona nervously laughed.

"I'm unsure of where to put it" Nemona says as Arven had an idea and set up a mini camp sending out Gogoat.

"Here, I put up a mini camp for the moment, Gogoat can watch over the egg while we head inside." Arven says as Nemona breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thanks Arven." Nemona says gratefully.

"Well, I guess it helps but just to be sure." Penny has Floragato go to the camp and Ash sends out Quaxwell, Nemona also sent out Crocalor too. "Just for extra protection. Could you help protect Nemona's egg while we're in there" Penny says as Floragato nods and Penny smiles.

"Alright, we're entering Tera Caverns. These places are huge so stick close, there's usually an area that contains a large number of gems and metals of varying types including Tera Shards, that will be our end point. If there's any problems, confrontational or major injury wise, we're turning back. Do I make myself clear?" Petunia says sternly as everyone nodded. "Good, vamonos (let's go)." Petunia says as they enter the cave. Meanwhile on a cliff, we see Iron Boulder watching the gang in the distance, ready to head into the cave.

"Those dang twerps want to go in there and claim my potential prize. I can't hurt the brat, so I'll turn back." Iron Boulder said in their deep Brooklyn accent and turned around but before they did, Iron Boulder turned back around facing the entrance. "But at the same time, that Champion brat." Iron Boulder says laughing.

"I want to take them on." Iron Boulder says as he glows, and his orange LED lights blink disabling something.

"Deactivated, Turo's safety protocol." a voice said.

"Now we can fight equally." Iron Boulder says as he waits till Ash and the gang get far ahead.

We see the gang traversing the caves as it started to feel more crystals as they walk amongst the terrain.

"I can start seeing why Tera Caverns gets its name, it's so pretty." Ash says as Petunia and Arven nodded but still felt uneasy.

"Indeed, it feels like Area Zero. All these caverns and crystals lining the walls, it's exactly like the underground." Arven says surprising Petunia, Dean and Carmen as they look to him.

"Aren't students not allowed down there; you could be in trouble." Carmen teased as Arven sighed.

"Well things are a bit different for me, not that I like it anyway." Arven says as Petunia was shocked.

"Were you down in Area Zero with your father?" Petunia asks as Arven nodded as Petunia sighed, "Why did that man take you to an area like that, a kid shouldn't even be down there." Petunia whispered angrily and worryingly as they see Pokemon like Gible, Bagon and Sableye wandering about.

"I guess Pokemon call it their home I guess?" Dean says.

"Still, makes me horrified to think that these Pokemon might disappear randomly when Tera caves disappear." Penny says more somberly as Carmen even agreed with no snap looking to her Mimikyu as she picked her up and held her close.

"In that case, hold your Pokemon close, you don't want to lose them." Carmen says as everyone nods. Ash walks towards Dean curious about something.

"Say Dean, how do we know when we find Platinum?" Ash asks as Nemona butts in.

"Or any Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds?" Nemona asks.

"Gold and Silver?" Penny adds on.

"Maybe even some Diamond and Pearls." Carmen asked as Petunia's vein comedically pops out.

"Stop with the references, you know we don't have the budget to include these references!" Petunia says to the group as Dean thinks.

"Well, Platinums are very shiny and gray, they have a nice feel to them." Dean said with his shark teeth grin.

"And how are you going to get them out?" Arven asks as Dean kept his smirk and sent out Dragapult.

"Dragapult!" Dragapult says.

"My Dragapult's Dragon Darts are enough to destroy rocks, you have nothing to worry about." Dean says as Petunia smirks.

"Oh really, Chesnaught, use Drain Punch on that rock formation." Petunia says as Chesnaught nods and his right fist glows.

"Chesnaught!" Chesnaught says punching the rock formation which had a dent but not enough to break it as Petunia looks to Dean and the group.

"Rocks made by Tera related activity are noted as taking on even the strongest of Fighting types so no other move can make it through. Information like this is readily available online so when you go down to places like these, make sure you have your info intact." Petunia says as Penny and Arven look at Dean disappointingly as Dean nervously laughs.

"But fortunately, I managed to catch you on time and fortunately, I have the tools needed to break these rocks so it shouldn't be too difficult but make sure your careful next time." Petunia says bluntly as Dean nods. They continue to walk to their destination as Pikachu starts to bond with Carmen's Mimikyu much to Ash's interest.

"It's rare to see a Mimikyu so friendly with a Pikachu." Ash says as Carmen took interest.

"Yeah, my Mimikyu is a very friendly Pokemon, but most are scared of him especially Pikachu's when encountering mine, but your Pikachu isn't scared of him." Carmen says with intrest as Ash shakes his head remembering Jessie's Mimikyu and Acerola's Mimikyu.

"Nope, we dealt with a Mimikyu that was part of an enemy team in Alola. When that Mimikyu attacks, they usually disobey their trainer upon seeing Pikachu at first sight. At the same time, we also met a girl and her ghostly Mimikyu and she was a friendly Mimikyu which a dark gray coloring." Ash says.

"Aren't Mimikyu already Ghost type?" Nemona asks.

"It was likely dead." Ash says comedically blunt causing everyone around him to be spooked.

"A MImikyu that died and became another ghost? Pokemon are confusing." Arven says but Carmen smiles genuinely causing her to be surprised.

Am I starting to care? I'm really enjoying this conversation, but I hate Ash... do I? Carmen thought to herself as Pikachu and Pawmo picked up on something and stood their ground as the gang noticed.

"You notice something you two?" Nemona asks as a series of rocks were launched towards the group as Pikachu and Pawmo jump back but one was launched towards Carmen.

"AHHHHH!" but before the rock could hit.

"Mach Punch!" Nemona says as Pawmo's fist glows and launched himself towards the rock punching it apart as Carmen was surprised but grateful.

"You saved me." Carmen says as Nemona nods.

"Of course I did, we're not acquaintances but I'm not going to let you get hurt Carmine!" Nemona says as Carmen- err Carmine was surprised.

"It's Carm-" Carmine didn't finish as Penny butts in.

"We can see through your guise sweetie; it was plainly obvious." Penny bluntly says as Carmine gives a knowing sigh.

"I know." Carmine says as the Pokemon that launched Stone Edge shows themself to be a Tyranitar or rather, a robotic Tyranitar much to the gang's surprise alongside a Gabite and Carbink.

"What the- that's an Iron Thorns. Is this the result of the Tera Caverns?" Arven says as Petunia sighs.

What did that man do in Area Zero after all these years? Petunia thought to herself as Ash scans Iron Thorns.

Paradox Pokemon detected, scanning now.

Iron Thorns, the Paradox Pokemon, a Rock/Electric type. despite its rough looking appearance, it actually avoids fights and is considered very intelligent. It can launch its spikes as projectiles.

"And it's accompanied by a Gabite and a Carbink, you don't see those in Paldea." Penny says.

"They used to wander Paldea years ago but slowly went extinct around this time or more likely, went to a certain area in the middle." Petunia says as Ash and Pikachu steps forward alongside Dean and his Dragapult and Carmine.

"Alright, we'll take care of them. Pikachu, you ready?" Ash asks as Pikachu nods and Carmine grabs her Pokeball.

"I'll join too, Iron Hands!" Carmine says sending out the robotic Hariyama much to everyone's shock.

"That Pokemon-" Arven didn't finish.

"We'll talk about this later!" Carmine says as the Iron Thorns started to Terastalize and when it broke apart, it revealed itself to be not like any other Tera Type. It's Tera hat had the Tera symbol which resembles a hexagon and surrounding it were various crystals of varying colors and a mysterious Pokemon on the crystal.

"What the- this isn't something I've seen." Arven says as he took note of it and took pictures as the Iron Thorns rushed in with Dragon Claw causing the hat to glow.

"Iron Hands, rush in with Play Rough!" Carmine says as Iron Hands nodded and was covered by a pink aura as he rushed in and clashed with Iron Thorns, "Well what are you waiting for, we need to take care of the other 2 too!" Carmine says as both Ash and Dean nodded.

"Pikachu, use Iron Tail against Carbink!" Ash says as Pikachu rushed in with his tail glowing and strikes at Carbink who uses Iron Defense. Gabite on the other hand rushes in with Dragon Claw towards Dragapult.

"Phantom Force!" Dean says as Dragapult disappears out of thin air leaving Gabite confused. Iron Thorns's Tera Hat glows again and launches Pin Missile towards the group from their back which surprises everyone.

"It glowed again!? It's not of Dragon Tera then but why did it glow for Pin Missile?!" Arven says as Nemona steps up.

"Discharge!" Nemona says as Pawmo launches electrical discharges that attack the Pin Missiles as Iron Hands was distracted and Carmine smirked.

"Good going Nemo, Force Palm!" Carmine says as Iron Hands beeps approvingly and launches a palm strike that sent Iron Thorns flying. Carbink launches a Smack Down towards Pikachu as Ash doesn't give in.

"Use Iron Tail against the Smack Down!" Ash says as Pikachu nods and jumps in the air smacking the Smack Down towards Carbink who gets hit face first by the rock as Ash follows that up, "Again!" Ash says as Pikachu rushes in smacking Carbink with his metallic tail sending Carbink flying. Gabite searched around for Dragapult as she reappears behind Gabite.

"Now!" Dean yells out as Dragapult smacks Gabite with her tail knocking Gabite down to the ground. Iron Thorns's Tera hat disappears as the 3 Pokemon scatter off and the 3 trainers Pokemon were panting as they celebrated their win.

"That was something." Dean says breathing heavily. As they were celebrating, Arven ponders upon Iron Thorns's unfamiliar Tera Type which left questions in the teenager as he flips through his Scarlet Book for more info to no avail.

What's going on? Arven thought to himself.

"Maybe we should find somewhere to take a break and focus on recollecting our thoughts?" Carmine suggested as the others nod and began to walk to find a wide resting spot.

"Hope our mons are enjoying the egg back at the camp." Nemona says hopefully.

Meanwhile, we see Quaxwell, Crocalor, Floragato and Gogoat playing cards to pass the time as they felt bored while Crocalor helped warm the egg.

"Got any 2's?" Floragato asks Quaxwell.

"Goldeen." Quaxwell says as Crocalor sighs feeling rather bored.

"C'mon, let's go explore! It feels boring sitting here." Crocalor says bored as Gogoat shakes her head.

"No, we must stay here until everyone returns, and you should be prepared Crocalor, you're about to have yourself a new teammate." Gogoat scolds as Crocalor nods but still feels bored. While sitting, Quaxwell and Crocalor smell a churro and malasada stand nearby.

"Churros and malasadas, get your fresh churros and malasadas!" the man said with a deep voice as Quaxwell and Crocalor mouths watered while Gogoat sighs.

"Ahh, c'mon, you can't be acting like this now you two. At least we're the mature ones right Floragato?" Gogoat asks as she sees Floragato's mouth also watering as Gogoat summons 2 vines from her leaves to smack the 3 of them. "Pay attention! We can't just go acting like this... but then again." Gogoat started to have second thoughts before slapping herself with her vines.

Focus Gogoat, I'm supposed to be the big sister figure here! I can't just go and- Gogoat didn't finish as a robotic Delibird came by holding 4 chocolate churros and a basket of malasadas.

"Hey there, I heard you guys were interested in some malasadas and churros!" the robotic Delibird says cheerfully (A/N: Think of their voice as similar to Claptrap from the Borderlands series) handing out the churros and malasadas much to the gang's delight as Gogoat got suspicious.

A robotic Delibird? It has the LED lights in its eyes and its tail which normally houses presents kind of looks like a cannon of sorts with a bright blue light and skis? Are they a Paradox Pokemon? But at the same time, they did provide some delicious- Gogoat stops her thoughts and enjoys the food happily alongside the other 3 mons.

"This is paradise!" the 4 Pokemon say as the robotic Delibird chirps happily.

"It's my pleasure!" the Delibird says as its cannon thing opens up and launches a blizzard towards the 4 Pokemon except the egg which it happily takes. "And this will be payment, ahahahaha!" the robotic Delibird cackles skiing away as Crocalor uses his flames to thaw them out.

"The egg!" the 4 mons say in shock.

"We haven't even thanked them for the delicious food!" Floragato says as the 3 Pokemon look to her.

"Ahem." Quaxwell says bluntly.

"And the egg too!" Floragato says as the 4 nod and rush off towards the robotic Delibird's direction. Meanwhile, Iron Boulder walks by snickering.

"Iron Bundles are known for being dangerous tricksters but at least it was easy to bribe the one who came with me as a distraction." Iron Boulder says walking into the cave but not before slicing Leavanny's webs.

Meanwhile, the gang rested up at a sight, making sure everyone felt rested up as they talked to each other about certain things.

"So, I guess we have the Copperahjah in the room, the Iron Hands." Arven says as they look to Carmine who scoffs.

"Yeah, I caught them because I thought they can help in my battles especially against Ash." Carmine says.

"You don't know what a Paradox Pokemon is capable of, I recommend releasing it before things get too wild." Arven says as Carmine shakes her head.

"Ash has that big Cyclizar looking Pokemon you ride on and control. I'm sure that Pokemon's a Paradox and I'm just guessing considering there haven't been any out there." Carmine pointed out bluntly as Arven had trouble thinking of words.

"Uhh, well, Koraidon's different and um, oh who am I kidding, you have a point." Arven says as Petunia got curious, but Arven continued, "But still, Paradoxes are unpredictable, and I suggest they be released before they cause more trouble." Arven says sternly but Carmine ignores him much to his disappointment and concern.

"Koraidon- Paradox? What has that man done this time. Ash, could you send out this 'Koraidon'?" Petunia asks as Ash reluctantly nods and sends out Koraidon who let out a mighty roar and yawn as they lie down. This shocked Petunia.

"This is Koraidon, it originally belonged to me before I gave them to Ash." Arven says as Petunia was shocked.

"Turo, you actually brought something like this over here." Petunia said in disbelief as Arven brings out a photo of Miraidon too.

"That's not the only one, there's also Miraidon." Arven says showing spite towards Electric/Dragon type as Petunia pinches her eyes.

"What in the- your dad actually got that machine working didn't he?" Petunia says as the gang were curious.

"Turo, as in Turo Regalo? I didn't know he was your father?" Carmine says as Arven sighs.

"Yeah, and I don't talk about him." Arven says but then he got curious, "Petunia, my mom mentioned something about a machine, a machine that brought over Pokemon. You were there during that expedition when I was either born or before I was born. Is there a reason you hate my father and does the machine have something to do with it?" Arven asks as Petunia's eyes widen.

"I guess there's no hiding it now. You remember the story of how I lost my arm?" Petunia asks as Arven nods.

"Yeah, you told me you fought 5 Beartic and made it out albeit without an arm." Arven asks as everyone, but Arven and Petunia were surprised as Petunia laughed.

"Haha, yeah, I did fight 5 Beartic but that wasn't how I lost my arm." Petunia says as she sighed, "You see, as Arven stated, I was a part of Turo's expedition down in Area Zero 16 years ago, a good friend of Sada and Turo's and a scientist and I helped deliver Arven too, part nurse." Petunia says as Dean steps in comedically blunt.

"A nurse, a chef, a scientist, what's next? Daredevil." Dean asks

"Yes." Petunia says as the area stayed silent before she spoke up again. "Anyway, it was down in Area Zero I discovered how to transform one's Tera type but also helped out with preparations of the expedition. Setting up bases for each area in Area Zero we went to until we reached the bottom depths and our main base. We worked on trying to get things figured out and worked on converting the energy of Area Zero into other uses. It was there that Turo got an interesting idea. In Area Zero are home to many Paradoxes but not as many as you see now, they say there might've been a way to bring them over." Petunia says as Arven remembered something that Sada said about how they searched for Terapagos but only found a gem.

"Terapagos." Arven answered as Petunia nods.

"Indeed, unfortunately, we only found a gem, but that gem contained enough power to create a time machine, but it had bad mojo since the beginning, an uneasy feeling of sorts." Petunia says as she looked to her mechanical left arm and gloved hand. "These hands helped you arrive in this world and now... they're reduced to nothingness." Petunia says remembering the incident.

16 years ago.

It was 3 days after Arven was born, everyone was hard at work on their own thing as Sada was caring for the baby, Turo made sure everything was in order and a younger Petunia was bright and active, handing out everyone their lunch and checked on Arven constantly to make sure the baby was healthy.

"You've been a great help to us Petunia!" a random scientist says.

"Oh stop, you're making me blush." Petunia said stubbornly but with a smile as she goes to Sada who was cradling Arven.

"How's little Arvy doing?" Petunia asks the tired but smiling Sada.

"Oh, you know, lots and lots of changes and crying but I wouldn't change a thing." Sada says.

"Except the diapers." Petunia jokingly says.

"Except the diapers." Sada repeats.

"Have you seen Turo? He's missing out on lunch; I don't want to give him Wiki Berries as punishment again." Petunia says as Sada chuckles pointing towards a room.

"Oh, he's in there, he's trying to keep things in check and babyproofing the lab and all." Sada says chuckling.

"You know, you don't have to stay down in Area Zero to raise the baby. I heard you want your boy to grow up and head to Naranja one day." Petunia says casually as Sada smiles.

"I know, I just want to see Turo achieve our dream, discovering the source of Area Zero, the origin of Terastalization, the Paradoxes. Though, you aren't wrong, we're planning on putting this experiment on hold for a while so we can raise little Arven." Sada says seeing her baby boy smiling.

"Alright, make sure you get plenty of rest and nutrition." Petunia says as she heads towards Turo's room as he makes sure his machine is in check; Petunia has never seen the machine up close before and awws at it. "So, this is the machine." Petunia says impressed as Turo chuckles.

"Yep, this is the Turoriser." Turo says proud of the name as Petunia cringes.

"Geez, you're really sounding like Clavell right now but without the slang." Petunia says as Turo puts his head down sadly but gets back up. "So, your machine of dreams is a time travel machine, a man-made Celebi?" Petunia asks as Turo chuckled.

"Not exactly, well actually yes but there's a bit more." Turo says grabbing the Scarlet Book as she became interested.

"These are the books written by Heath, right? I guess you took some inspiration just cite the source." Petunia says as Turo nods.

"Indeed, these two books may seem one and the same but the more it goes on in both books, the more different they are. Scarlet talks about the past, the wilds to be had while the Violet book talks about well their take on the future. One talks about how the bicycle will have a way to boost in speed in the future via the power of electricity, none of that but motorcycles must count for something." Turo joked.

"So where are you getting at?" Petunia asked suspiciously.

"Well, I thought that Terapagos can focus in on one particular time, the past or the future. I thought that this could be a time machine of sorts, but something changed. One of the pages on here involves Terapagos and how the text remains blurred and blacked out in some parts most likely to hide the true nature of this 'Terapagos' but there was one secret page on here that took digging." Turo says as Petunia got curious as Turo shows the page and small split into the page that split open and made another page surprising Petunia.

"What the-" Petunia says as Turo nods in agreement.

"That's what I said the first time, a secret page. In this page, it talks about another experience while in Area Zero. 'As I wander upon the expansive caves, traversed through the waters and covered my eyes upon the crystals, I encounter upon a tree that was crystalized, I thought nothing of it considering the other things down here but upon a closer look, I saw that the tree displayed multiple me's. Not like a mirror, each me was different from clothing to general appearance and I appeared as a woman in one of them, a kid in another and one completely old and decrepit and unlike a mirror, each me moved and acted differently. Was this the result of my madness or could there be more to Terapagos's power I'm not getting at.'" Turo read from the book.

"You've encountered Terapagos before, right?" Petunia asks as Turo remembers around 10-11 years ago and nods.

"Yes, that was a long time ago back when me and Sada were Clavell's assistants. It ended up as both a success and failure, Terapagos appeared but left everlasting scars upon Clavell's colleagues Albus and Amaranth, but this time is different, I'll succeed and capture Terapagos for my plan." Turo says as Petunia claps snapping him out of it.

"Don't go all crazy on me now." Petunia says as Turo nods.

"Sorry. Back at the topic at hand, with that page. I came to the theory that this tree is in actuality a gateway to multiple universes and another theory, what our timelines weren't just the past and future but also connected to other dimensions?" Turo says.

"You don't mean to say-" Petunia asks.

"It's not affirmative but if so, it could be a breakthrough we need. The acknowledgement from Paldea, more funds into our research and more technology to help our world using this power. I can make my boy and Sada proud of me when Arven grows up." Turo says as Petunia sighs.

"Don't let fame go over your head." Petunia says bluntly when a voice was heard from the other room.

"Turo, could you help out with the schematics in here!" a random scientist says as Turo nods.

"I'm on my way!" Turo yelled out as he gave Petunia a device. "In the meantime, could I ask you to scan the machine, it provides detail from both the outside and inside of the machine. The schematic for the machine is next to you." Turo says as Petunia nods.

"Alright, but that will be your leftover cheesecake later as payment!" Petunia yells out Turo leaves the room. Petunia scans the machine and looks over the plans making sure things are intact. "Let's see, the bolts are in their right spot, the power source and wires seem to be right. So far, nothing's out of place." Petunia says as she then felt the machine heating up abnormally.

"The machine hasn't been used, the power's off, so what's the jist?" Petunia scans the machine until she found something off about the machine's heaters. "Their wires are connected to the where the gem's at and not the main core, that means. This machine has to be stopped! Chesnaught!" Petunia says as she sent out the Spiny Armor Pokemon, she and Chesnaught worked on tearing apart the machine as it heated up and Turo came in.

"Petunia, what's going on?" Turo asks as Petunia turns to him in a panic.

"You need to stop this machine; the schematics aren't right! If you don't change it now, people could die in here!" Petunia says as Turo felt hesitant as Petunia grits her teeth. "Do you want your boy to live his life!?" Petunia says as Turo nods but before he could do anything, the machine lights up and Petunia pushes Turo out of the way and Chesnaught uses Spiky Shield as the machine explodes sending Petunia flying towards a wall and being knocked out.

A little while later, people were checking up on Petunia as she woke up and saw Sada and Petunia's Chesnaught tending to her, Petunia tried to move her arm but couldn't and noticed her right hand was scarred as Petunia panics as Sada tried to calm her down.

"There, there, stay calm." Sada say as Petunia's eyes wandered to Turo who was worrying more for his machine and "Everyone's future." as Petunia weakly chuckled.

"That's what your worried about, more than your own colleague." Petunia says quietly as she faints again.

Present day.

The gang were shocked to say the least over this new development, Dean was filled with curiosity while Carmine didn't have anything snarky to add, she was shocked and more curious to the gang that she supposedly 'hated' more than ever.

"The arm that helped you arrive was taken away shortly after, I was sent back to the surface and my arm couldn't be saved. Had to be armless for a while till my good friend hooked me up with this, took another of therapy but I got the hang of it. Still, Turo was obsessed with his machine over caring for his colleague, he didn't bother to show up. It became to the point where it resulted in your parents' divorce Arven, I bet that man still is obsessed with achieving that hopeless dream." Petunia says as Arven was surprised and upset over this info. He got up and prepared to head back where he came.

"Arven where are you going?" Nemona says.

"I'm going to confront the man that is my father, if he's going to obsess more with his damn machine and his dreams over his own family, someone's got to place him back to reality." Arven said with a darker tone as Petunia and Morada held his hands. "Petunia? Morada?" Arven says.

"Look at me Arven." Petunia orders softly as Arven did so reluctantly. "Don't let what happened to me let you lash out at your father. You have a life ahead of you, friends by your side and a Treasure that's waiting for you. Tell me Arven, what's your goal right now?" Petunia asks softly as Arven looks to his friends (and Carmine) and to his Pokeball of Mabosstiff and tears up.

"To help my Mabosstiff." Arven said quietly as Petunia smiles.

"While I'm unsure what happened to your Mabosstiff, I'm sure he wouldn't want you to feel down or see you lose yourself." Petunia says as he wipes his tears away and smiles.

"Your right, I maybe at my dad, but I can put that aside, for the moment at least." Arven says as he turned to the gang and Dean specifically with renewed determination, "Alright Dean, let's go find your crush that metal and get out of here." Arven says with determination as everyone nods in agreement and even Carmine makes a smile which catches Ash's attention as he, Leavanny and Pikachu lightly smile.

"Is someone enjoying our group?" Ash teased lightly as Carmine puffs up and looks away.

"It's only temporary until we get out of here, after that, I'll beat you and Nemona." Carmine says as Ash shrugs and walks along with the group. However, someone was watching them, a clone of Iron Valiant created by Double Team was watching and appeared with dread.

"Multiple dimensions? Am I really from their timeline then? Was it all for naught? I need to reorganize myself and think about this." Iron Valiant says as they disappear but as they did, they didn't see that Iron Boulder was walking down catching up to the group.

The gang make it to a huge area full of Tera Crystals and some clearings showing various metals as they all awed at the sight as Dean spots the metal he was searching for.

"There it is!" Dean says as Petunia walks over and checks it with her books and nods.

"Yep, this is genuine platinum here kiddo. It's going to be around 30-40 minutes or even less till I get this thing out and I know of a shop around here that can turn this thing into any jewelry for a cheap price. Normally, it takes 5-30 years to extract all this in a normal sense." Petunia says as the gang were shocked.

"5-30 years!" the gang says as Petunia smirks and brings out her tools.

"But thanks to me and my special tools here, I can get these out in no time so sit back and relax and be careful when touching anything here." Petunia says as she got to work on the rock as the gang explored.

"So, you'll have the necklace for the love of your life. Are you going to kiss her afterwards?" Penny teased as Dean blushed.

"C'mon, it's not like that... I have to confess my feelings first, but I feel wimpy." Dean bluntly admits as Penny giggles. Carmine looked at everyone having fun as she felt jealous but also surprised.

"Ash, Penny, Nemona and Arven, all of them have such different backgrounds and yet everyone gets along so well." Carmine says to herself as Nemona and Pawmo walk next to her.

"We may all be different, but we don't need to share a background to become good friends. We're all different and nobody's perfect but I think that's what makes my friends interesting." Nemona says as Carmine lightly blushed, "Do you not have such a friend group or similar friends?" Nemona asks as Carmine was surprised but she didn't get dismissive towards the answer but instead looked fondly towards something.

"Well, it's not like I don't have friends. I do but a lot of them just follow me because I'm a Champion Ranked Trainer, I'm the daughter of the former chairman, some people follow me because they either want my respect, only want to be my friends just so they can earn the fame too." Carmine says as Nemona's eyes widen in surprise and in familiarity as she frowned.

"Same for me, it wasn't easy being alone until I met 2 special people in my life, and they helped me out of my loneliness, even helped me get to a place in the Student Council." Nemona looked on fondly before frowning, "That was until one of them died and I had a falling out with the other over her death." Nemona says as Carmine felt bad rather than snarky and even looked apologetic.

"I'm- I'm sorry for your loss." Carmine says genuinely as Nemona wipes a tear surprised.

"Thanks, it means- a lot actually. But I know that I'm not alone anymore, I became student council president and gained people's respect, I've met Ash and he's been a great friend and teacher, and I befriended Arven and Penny despite our differences in the beginning so i know that I'll have plenty of adventures with everyone." Nemona says as Carmine looked on and saw Ash, Arven's and Penny's characteristics and smiled genuinely. "I mean, you told me that there are 'friend's' who are only 'friends' for popularity purposes but are there genine ones Carmine?" Nemona asked as Carmine smiles and shows a picture of her friends and brother.

"Yes, there are, I'm part of the trainer's club at Uva as well as Creative Writing and I've met great people at those 2 clubs, and I don't regret joining them one bit." Carmine says as Nemona was surprised.

"I didn't know you were into Creative Writing." Nemona says.

"Hey, everyone has a hobby." Carmine says bluntly as she continued to show her photos and one of the photos contained Carmine, Kieran and 3 pther figures that look familiar, an androgynous teen around Carmine's age with short blue hair, slight tan and a confident smirk and a long pink haired girl with a gentle smile, pink kimono and pale skin and a dark-skinned girl with a slight smile on her face and hair that resembled dreadlocks (?) but also resembled gears. It seemed like Nemona recognized 2 of them

"Those are Hikaru and Peche right?" Nemona asks as Carmine nods.

"Yep, they were my childhood friends back in Kitakami, they came by to visit Paldea one day, so we took this picture alongside my best friend Amarys and Kieran. I miss the 3 dearly." Carmine says.

"3?" Nemona asks as Carmine frowns.

"Yeah, Amarys moved away a year later to Unova, her dad got a teaching job back in her home Region so they had to head back unfortunately, and it's left me a bit sad even know we contact each other by email, text and calls whenever we can." Carmine says sadly as both girls started to learn more about each other than what they assumed from their battles.

"Say Carmine?" Nemona asks.

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry I called you a- well- you know a while back." Nemona says as Carmine nods.

"It's alright, I was acting like a jerk that day. Not the right words to say but I at least got it, I'm sorry for driving that student away from Naranja, I guess I felt kind of lost when it came to how I felt and dealing with my emotions at the time, I know it's not an excuse, but I would like to apologize to that student." Carmine said sincerely.

"Well fortunately, you didn't really drive him away, he just needed time to himself but he's back." Nemona says as Carmine breathed a sigh of relief, "So if you're from Kitakami, why were you-" Nemona didn't finish.

"Let's move on to another subject!" Carmine says trying to deflect the question. We see Ash, Pikachu, Leavanny, Arven and Morada walking around the cave looking in awe as Arven took note of this in his journal.

"All this formed by this 'Terapagos' fellow?" Ash asks as Arven gave a slight nod.

"Likely, dad says that through the research he's found, Terapagos is said to be a monster. He's said that he and mom have seen it before back when they were Clavell's assistants, exploring the caverns of Area Zero." Arven says.

"How did that go?" Ash asks.

"The only thing he told me is that he saw it, but it disappeared but two of Clavell's colleagues received scars, one physically and the other mentally so I can only imagine Terapagos's power if it exists." Arven says as Ash shivers at the thought of its power. Pikachu, Morada and Leavanny see a glow from a nearby crystal formation and walk to it, they see a hexagon shaped rock that was colored a light blue lying on it.

"Pika? (What the?)" Pikachu says hopping to the rock and grabbing it out of curiosity.

"Snes, Sneasel? (A simple rock?)" Morada asks as Ash and Arven notice.

"What'cha got there bud?" Ash asks as Pikachu hands Ash the rock as both boys look to the rock with curiosity. "A rock?" Ash asks.

"It's the most different from the rocks and metals we've seen and yet, it feels familiar." Arven says as he looks over it but as they were doing so, a series of 7 pink orbs were launched towards Ash and Arven as the gang noticed and panicked.

"Ash! Arven!" Penny yelled out as Morada and Leavanny stood in front of them with their arms glowing.

"Metal Claw Morada!" Arven says as Morada nods rushing towards the orbs.

"Leaf Blade!" Ash says to Leavanny who nods and also rushes towards the orbs, the two Pokemon slash away at the orbs to thankfully no injuries. "You alright everyone?" Ash asks as everyone nods and they get up.

"Alright, show yourself! I bet it's you Team Rocket who launched that Psyshock!" Nemona says getting up.

"You know those chumps?" Petunia asks.

"Long story, how do you know?" Ash asks.

"Dated one." Petunia says as the figure shows themself who was not a part of Team Rocket but instead Iron Boulder who stomped slowly towards the group and were surprised.

"That's a Terrakion!" Ash says in surprise.

"One of those Pokemon, what's it doing here in Paldea?" Penny asks as Arven shakes his head.

"It looks like one and yet, it looks different more robotic. Is this a Paradox too?" Arven asks as he scans Iron Boulder with the Dex.

Paradox Pokemon detected, information unknown.

Arven was flabbergasted. "A Paradox that's unknown, just what are you?" Arven asks as Iron Boulder scoffs.

"I'm merely just Iron Boulder you chumps, I came here from another timeline 10 years ago and you're in the way! I'm here for that rock and to challenge the Champ." Iron Boulder says as Ash grits his teeth and Ash and Leavanny stood ready for battle.

10 years ago? Arven was 6 back then, don't tell me you recreated that thing during Arven's growth. I'm going to kick your butt later. Petunia thought to herself.

"After you tried to attack my friends, no way!" Ash says as Iron Boulder sighed.

"Guess we'll have to do things the hard way." Iron Boulder says rushing in as Petunia's Chesnaught blocked the way.

"Spiky Shield!" Petunia says as Chesnaught puts his arms together and creates a green shield of spikes. Iron Boulder simply scoffed, and their horn blades extended, coming together as one and slashed through Chesnaught's shield shocking everyone before Iron Boulder proceeded to launch Psyshock again sending Chesnaught flying. "Chesnaught!" Petunia says as they get back up.

"That Pokemon just sliced through Spiky Shield without issue, isn't Spiky Shield supposed to hurt a Pokemon?" Carmine asks as Iron Boulder merely just laughs.

"Hahahaha, oh it hurts alright! But my Mighty Cleave can cleave through any Protect variation you throw out, so try that again." Iron Boulder says as they laughed but as they did, Pikachu and Leavanny jump in the air ready to strike as Ash smirks.

"Rule number 1 when battling, keep monologuing and you leave yourself open. Pikachu, use Electro Web and Leavanny, X-Scissor!" Ash says as Pikachu launches a web of electricity towards Iron Boulder trapping them.

"What the!" Iron Boulder says trying to get out as Leavanny slashes them sending them flying. Iron Boulder struggles to get out leaving them vulnerable as the others see their chance.

"Alright everyone, let's help Ash out! Pawmo use Mach Punch!" Nemona says as Pawmo rushes at Iron Boulder at jet speed.

"Mimikyu, Shadow Claw." Carmine says as Mimikyu nods and rushes at Iron Boulder, both Pokemon strike at the Paradox Pokemon with their attacks as Iron Boulder staggers as Penny and Dean join in too with Penny sending out Leafeon.

"Dragapult, Shadow Ball!" Dean says as Dragapult nods launching a ghastly ball towards Iron Boulder.

"Leaf Blade!" Penny says as Leafeon nods and her tail glows rushing towards Iron Boulder. Iron Boulder growls in anger and their horns glow a pinkish hue and used Psycho Cut to cut away the webs and Shadow Ball while clashing with Leafeon's Leaf Blade eventually pushing her away. Iron Boulder appeared angry and didn't want to be beaten down as he looked to a large stalactite above Carmine.

"I won't let you win!" Iron Boulder says launching a Psyshock towards the stalactite as it crumbles, and everyone panics.

"CARMINE!" Ash yelled out in worry as Carmine tried to run but was about to trip as Arven stepped in.

"Use Quick Attack on that stalactite Morada!" Arven yelled out as Morada's right hand form an air wave and launched it towards the rock as Nemona caught and pulled Carmine close for a saving hug holding her close as the rock was destroyed. "That was Vacuum Wave, good going Morada." Arven says as Morada smiles. Both Nemona and Carmine were breathing heavily as Nemona looked to Carmine in concern.

"Are you alright?" Nemona asked as Carmine nodded.

"Yes, thank you Nemona and thank you Arven." Carmine says as both Nemona and Carmine looked to each other and realized how close they were as they seperated and blushed deeply.

"Sorry about that." Nemona says as Carmine shook her head.

"No, it's alright, I won't blame you for that one." Carmine says as Ash looked angry towards Iron Boulder.

"How dare you, what makes you think you can do that!?" Ash says as he grabs his Tera Orb but as he did, the stone that Ash was holding also glowed and went into his Tera Orb as Iron Boulder scoffs and laughs.

"Everyone is colleterial in my eyes, I only want to challenge you. You can join me, and we can put others down in their place including that Turo guy" Iron Boulder says catching Arven's attention.

"What was that?" Arven says.

"I won't join you, never. Pikachu!" Ash says as Pikachu readies himself for battle as Arven notices the rock glowing and its energy pouring out and going into Ash's Tera Orb.

"What the-" Arven says as Ash throws his Tera Orb towards Pikachu who Terastalizes but when they came out of the crystallization, Pikachu's Tera hat looked different, it was the same as Iron Thorns from earlier and the energy of this Tera Hat glowed wildly as the gang look on with surprise.

"It's that Tera Hat again." Nemona says surprised.

"Pikachu's original Tera Type is Electric so what's up with this?" Penny asks as Petunia looks on unsure.

Terastalization, your one big mystery. Petunia thought to herself as Iron Boulder laughs manically.

"This is going to be fun!" Iron Boulder says as their horns glow a dark black aura indicating Throat Chop as Ash readies himself as Iron Boulder dashes towards Pikachu.

"Use Quick Attack to get away!" Ash says as Pikachu''s Tera hat glows and dashes away from the attack and strikes Iron Boulder multiple times before Iron Boulder's horns glow again using Sacred Sword to not miss.

"Take this!" Iron Boulder says as they prepare to slash at Pikachu.

"Vacuum Wave!" Arven says as Morada launches an air wave towards Iron Boulder who was staggered by it as Pikachu jumps in the air.

"Now Iron Tail!" Ash says as Pikachu jumps in the air and his Tera hat glows again which makes Petunia question it.

It glowed when Pikachu was using Quick Attack, so I thought it was a Normal Tera Type but then he used Iron Tail which glowed again. Could this Tera Type have the power of other Types? Petunia thought to herself as Pikachu prepared to slam his metalized tail onto Iron Boulder who blocks the attack with Sacred Sword.

"You, it's not fair, you have your colleagues by your side!" Iron Boulder says as Morada and Leafeon appeared from the sides as Ash smirked.

"Yeah, and you left your sides open." Ash says.

"Leafeon, Leaf Blade!" Penny says as Learon nods and her tail glows.

"Morada, Brick Break!" Arven says as Morada's right arm glows and both Pokemon strike at Iron Boulder's sides staggering him as Petunia's Chesnaught also helps out.

"Let me jump in too, use Drain Punch and send em flying!" Petunia says as Chesnaught uppercuts Iron Boulder's chin sending him flying in the air as Petunia looked to Ash, "Now's your chance kiddo!" Petunia says as Ash nods.

"Pikachu use Iron Tail!" Ash says as Pikachu nods running towards Chesnaught's back and jumping off of it and slamming his tail into Iron Boulder sending them flying towards a wall which once again leaves Petunia baffled towards this strange Tera Type.

It glowed again upon using Iron Tail the first time but after that, it didn't glow again. Could this Tera type not allow for Pikachu to use the same moves for a Terastal attack but allows all it's other moves to receive the same boost? There's a lot of research to be done. Petunia thought to herself, as she did think to herself, she found a group of Tera Crystals that looked all rainbow like, something she hasn't seen before.

"Now String Shot Leavanny!" Ash says as Leavanny nods launching string from his mouth to cover Iron Boulder and prevent them from escaping.

"This web, it's so strong!" Iron Boulder says as everyone looked to each other as the cave prepares to collapse.

"Let's get out of here!" Petunia says as everyone nods and runs out of the room leaving Iron Boulder there as they yell out to Ash.

"The next time we see each other, it's 1 v 1, I'll beat you down once and for all!" Iron Boulder says as they manage to make it out of the cave as the rocks collapses and blocks the entrance. The gang were breathing heavily having just escaped the strong foe they had just fought.

"We made it." Penny says breathing heavily. Nemona turns to see Quaxwell, Crocalor, Floragato and Gogoat all lying there tired and resting.

"Hey guys, how did your day go?" Nemona asks.

Earlier

We see the 4 Pokemon chasing Iron Bundle to a trash dump home to various Delibird who all served under Iron Bundle.

"Give back our egg you thief, what makes our egg interesting to you!" Crocalor asks as Iron Bundle laughs.

"Nothing really, I just love to mess with people. I stole your egg because I wanted a good laugh and now you've arrived to my lair, my henchmen will take good care of you. Attack my fellow Delibirds!" Iron Bundle says as Delibird nods bringing out Presents as the 4 mons prepare themselves.

"Careful, Present is one unpredictable move, be ready!" Gogoat says as the other 3 nod as the Delibird threw their Presents at the 4 but they felt like fluff to them as the 4 look on bluntly and Iron Bundle nervously chuckled.

"Really, that's the best they can do?" Floragato asks as Iron Bundle nervous.

"Hahaha, I guess I chose the most passive Delibird as my army." Iron Bundle says as the Delibird scatter away as the 4 Pokemon surround Iron Bundle as they hand the egg to the 4 mons. "Can we take a raincheck?" Delibird asks.

"How about we deal with this now." Quaxwell says cracking his fists.

Present

Nemona smiles. "Well, whatever happened, I'm glad you and the egg are safe." Nemona says as she brings out 4 candied Oran Berries causing the 4 to water with happiness. "Here you are, enjoy them well, you deserve it." Nemona says as the 4 enjoy their Oran Berries happily. Arven was looking at the cave as Petunia and Ash walk over to him.

"Are you ok Arven?" Ash asks as Arven shrugs and sighs.

"I- I don't know, there's a lot to process today. What happened after I was born, these unknown Paradoxes from 10 years ago, the rock Ash is holding and that Tera Type. Everything's just strange today and I'm unsure how I feel about it." Arven says as Petunia pats his shoulder.

"I know how that feels, still, I take deep breathes and we'll get things sorted out. Until then, let me make you all some lunch and as a bonus-" Petunia leaves it open for everyone to hear, "I'll even make my special recipe that allows for one's Tera type to change but no peeking." Petunia says as the gang were intrested but Carmine curious as Ash's Tera Orb was still glowing after Pikachu's Tera disappeared.

"Say twer- Ash, you Tera Orb is still active." Carmine says as Ash looks to it.

"Yeah, isn't it a normal thing?" Ash asks as Penny shakes her head.

"Not exactly. After a Tera Orb is used, it requires hours of rest or going to a Pokemon center to recharge it but here, it's still glowing. Could that rock have anything to do with it?" Penny asks as Petunia got an idea.

"Say Ash, there's an easy way to tell one's Tera Type, hold it close to Pikachu and look at the colors. Your Pikachu's Tera Type is Electric? So, it would glow yellow in that case, try it out." Petunia says as Ash holds the Tera Orb to Pikachu's cheek and notices it glowing in a rainbow-like pattern.

"It's not yellow, it's a rainbow." Ash says as Petunia got interested and held up the crystals she found earlier.

"So, it's of a different Tera Type after all and these crystals might have some connection, I'll have to do some research and tell Sada. For now, let's just relax, send out 2 Pokemon and I'll determine which Tera Type is fitting for them." Petunia says.

"But how can you separate the dish to accommodate other Tera Types?" Dean asks as Petunia smirks.

"Trust me, I have my ways." Petunia says.

A little while later and behind a curtain, Petunia has her soup made as she called out to each trainer and their two Pokemon with Ash going first with Quaxwell and Cyclizar.

"Since Pikachu has a new Tera Type, it's best to study it and see where it goes, and I'll work on looking at this new Tera Crystal and seeing if it can go to my dishes. For now, you have Cyclizar and Quaxwell and what are their Tera Types?" Petunia asks.

"Normal and Water." Ash informs Petunia as she gave them soup that was as gray and hardened as Steel and as swifty as the wind.

"Your Cyclizar would be perfect with the Steel Tera Type and Quaxwell with Flying Tera." Petunia says as the 2 Pokemon try out the soup which felt delicious and their bodies glow. Ash holds up the Tera Orb and shows their colors changing to the corresponding Tera Types.

"It worked." Ash says.

"I have my ways." Petunia says. Ash steps out to allow Nemona to enter with Crocalor and Pawmo.

"Their Teras are Fire and Electric." Nemona informs as Petunia hands them each a soup that was as purple and mysterious as Poison and a soup that was red as one's own fiery soul.

"Then the good Typings for them would be Poison and Fighting." Petunia says as the Pokemon try it out, one by one, the trainers came by, and Petunia suggests new and new types and soups as Penny was next.

"For you Penny, your Greavard would be good with the Fighting Tera but for Floragato, they seem to be perfect where they're at especially with their Protean Ability but I'm giving them Dark referencing their evolution's secondary Type." Petunia says, Dean was next.

"For Infernape and Dragapult, Ghost and Fairy are appropriate." Petunia says as they had their soup, and Carmine went next with Hisuian Samurott and Mimikyu.

"For that unique Samurott and Mimikyu, honestly both would benefit from Ghost Tera." Petunia says as they have their soup. Arven came in with Appy and Morada.

"Hmm, Applin would be good with Water Tera while the unique Sneasel would be Fire Tera, but I could try out the crystals, I have 64 of those crystals and 50 are enough to transforms one's own Tera Type and the other 14 are enough for me to study them with your mother. What do you say?" Petunia asks as Arven nods. Petunia smiles and hands them the soup as it changes their Type. Arven grabs his Tera Orb.

"Well, only one way to find out." Arven says as he Terastalizes Morada and the same Tera Hat that appeared on Pikachu and Iron Thorns appeared too surprising Petunia.

"It worked, I wasn't expecting it to work, but I guess we'll have lots of research to do about this type. I recommend contacting your mother in the morning about our adventures down there but don't expect anything casual, she'll likely be angry and worried towards you going to a place like that." Petunia says as Arven nods, but he had something else in mind as he frowned.

"Petunia?" Arven asks.

"Yes Arven?" Petunia asks in concern.

"There's one favor I have to ask because I'm unsure if it will really work but I want to tell you why I'm on this journey in the first place." Arven says as Petunia waited for Arven to continue.

We see Arven placing Mabosstiff on the table as Petunia brings over some soup mixed with Tera Crystals and Herba Mystica as Carmine and Dean were shocked towards Mabosstiff's condition.

"What's wrong with his Mabosstiff?" Carmine asks Nemona.

"Let's just say, something happened in Area Zero and he's been on a quest to defeat the Paldean Titans and get their Herba Mystica for his Mabosstiff." Nemona says as Carmine stayed silent.

I would've never expected me to be so caring towards Ash's group, is this what I want to be? Carmine thought to herself as Arven helps Mabosstiff eat the soup.

"Slowly buddy." Arven says helping him with the soup, his body starts to glow and gave a slight bark but still felt weak as Arven tears up slightly.

"Arven..." Petunia says in concern, but Arven shakes his head.

"It's alright, I know it at least worked somewhat if not a great effect. It just means I have to keep going, I know that a cure for Mabosstiff is out there, I just have to keep going for Mabosstiff's sake." Arven says with renewed determination and a smile as he pats Mabosstiff and returns him to his Pokeball. "Thank you for today, Petunia, I'm grateful." Arven says as Petunia smiles and rubs Arven's hair.

"Just keep up that smile, your friends will appreciate and help you out along the way." Petunia says as Carmine prepares to leave as Ash and Nemona notice.

"Carmine?" Ash asks.

"I'm going to go; I need to give you guys some space and I have a lot to think about on my own." Carmine says before smirking, "But don't think we're friends... maybe acquaintances. I'm going to battle you again but not just so I can drive you out but just simply so I can prove myself. I'll get stronger and I'll surpass you so if you're around Uva Academy, show your strength Ash and Nemona, I'll be waiting." Carmine says blushing as she walks off but stops and sighs.

"But thank you for today, I at least got to know a bit more about you folks. See ya." Carmine says softer and more genuine than before as she leaves.

Back in town, Dean's necklace is made and presents it to Verde or rather due to her blindness, describe it as the gang stood by alongside Dux and Sarah.

"Happy Birthday Verde, I decided to look long and hard for the perfect gifts and I think I found them. A special wooden heart and a necklace." Dean says as Dean places the necklace on her and Verde felt the heart and its braille.

"'To my dear and best friend Verde Morales'." Verde says as she blushed and smiled, "Thank you Dean." Verde says as she attempts to walk over to Dean as Dux helped her and she kissed Dean's cheek as he blushed wildly and fainted as the other chuckle.

"Mission accomplished." Nemona says as Sarah looks to them with a knowing grin.

"What did you do?" Sarah asks.

"Long story." Nemona says as Sarah nods.

"So where are you off to now?" Sarah asks.

"We're off to Levincia towards my next Gym Battle!" Nemona says.

"Ahh, you're taking on Iono, this should be interesting although Ash, you'll likely need some sort of disguise." Sarah suggested as Ash was curious.

"Why's that?" Ash asks.

"Well, Iono is one of the most popular Poketubers in the world and considering her wild popularity, she has swarms of fans, but her fans have a tendency to latch on to other famous people, one's who are famous battlers if you catch my drift." Sarah says as they look to Ash.

"That's true, you don't want stans to swarm you during your daily life which is why I have a disguise in mind." Penny said with a mischievous grin and stars in her eyes as the others worry towards her mischievous plans for the future. Petunia packs her stuff together into the bags placed on her Mudsdale preparing to leave but before that, she hands Arven the rock with a rope attached to it and places it on Arven like a necklace.

"Here you are Arven, whatever this rock is, I feel you should keep it safe and if anything happens with the rock, you let us know alright?" Petunia asks as Arven nods.

"Where are you off to Petunia?" Arven asks as Petunia looks on fondly at Arven.

"Well, your mother will be very curious towards these new discoveries so I'm heading over to Los Platos to talk with her." Petunia says.

"Will we ever see you again?" Ash asks as Petunia smirks.

"Most definitely, you'll find my Treasure Eateries throughout, but the true one lies in Medali where the heart is." Petunia says as she gets on Mudsdale, "Take care kiddos and I hope you achieve your dreams. Until we meet again!" Petunia says as the gang wave goodbye as Arven looks to the sunset.

"Everything going to be ok Arven?" Nemona asks as Arven nods.

"Yes, I know with these new developments, it's going to be a rocky road, but I know I'm not alone when facing these challenges, so I just have to keep my head up high." Arven says with renewed determination. Meanwhile, Iron Valiant watched on unsure of themself over the new information they acquired.

Meanwhile, Iron Boulder slashes out the rocks and makes it out of there looking towards Area Zero and was glowing.

"Activating, Turo's Safety Protocol." a voice said on Iron Boulder as they sighed.

"That boy and his friends, they're tough but gave me a thrill. You win this one Champion, but I'll be sure I'm not weak next time." Iron Boulder says walking away.

Wow, that was one action packed chapter, things are changing for sure in the story that I'll be excited to explore later. The next chapter will be a filler chapter to take a break from the heart pumping action and story of the previous chapters and provide a bit of rest before we head to Levincia where more interesting things are bound to happen.

Inspiration: Her design I imagine would be influenced by the weapons shopkeeper in Persona 2, being an older lady that has that look of coolness and mysterious nature. I imagine her voice and character would be influenced by actress Wendie Malick specifically in her role as Eda from Owl House.

Description: A good friend of Sada's and a former friend of Turo's, she founded Treasure Eatery in Medali to serve to both people and Pokemon and so far, she's the only person who knows how to make a special recipe to change one's Tera Type, but she only reveals it to a selected few not even to Sada. Despite her gruff looking appearance, she's actually fairly kind and does want the best to others even to Turo despite what happened, she doesn't want to see him lose himself.

She helped deliver Arven and sees him as a son to her. She has 3 children of her own 2 of which are college aged while the other is a senior in high school while her husband passed a while ago. She's known to be a bit blunt but was once very curious and whimsical prior to the accident that lost her left arm.

Chesnaught (Male, Ability: Bulletproof, TT: Rock)

Moves: Drain Punch, Wood Hammer, Spiky Shield, Thunder Punch

Her Starter Pokemon, her Chesnaught is often the muscle as part of her team but is also very gentle and playful towards children and Pokemon. He is slowing down due to age however.

Mudsdale (Female, Ability: Stamina, TT: Water)

Her other beloved Pokemon, she acts as a pack Pokemon helping carry major storage for her trainer on their travels.
