Chapter 7: The Great Swamp:
Vunshoec's POV:
We were walking through the swamp. "Here, Caklorm's magic cannot interfere," says the Oracle.
Then hunters came and we had to fight back. One of our own was killed by them. We managed to drive them off.

We continued, but we lost another one, this time to quicksand.
...
We were moving. "Wait," I said, "where's the Oracle?"
"Right here," says the Oracle, "we must move on!"
As we continued, that Karg Zopzut saw came. "It's here," says Zopzut.
The karg attacks the Oracle, but then I realized why! "That's not the Oracle," I said.
His true form was revealed, and it was one of Caklorm's shapeshifters! He tried to attack us, but the Karg kills him!
...
"My name is Kuth. I saw you all and decided to follow you. I figured if you're really going to take down Caklorm, I wanted in!"
"But where's the Oracle," asks Kayjis.
"Found him," says Zopzut, "that shapeshifter must've killed him before taking his form!"
"You may accompany us, Kuth," I said, "and we can't leave Kayjis, so you must come with us as well."

As we were on our journey, Zopzut formed a bond with Kayjis.
