Naruto was born in the Pokémon world. He has gone to school then he has traveled through the regions and done every gym challenge. He has beaten many gyms. When he went to Paldea he was a champion student. But he retired and became a detective. He enjoys it very much as he is not to one region. This is the story of a Great detective. Harem

1. Chapter 1

D:...so why am I tied up?

D: *looks around* oh nice! So why are we here? *one of the bird-like pokemon lands on dealt's head and nests*

The Maelstrom Detective

Chapter 1

A man is laying in bed when an alarm goes off and he reaches out and turns it off as he feels somewhat heavy on his back as he says "Pikachu get off me please it is time to get up" as he said that, he went to sleep and Pikachu shakes its head as its red cheeks begin to spark up.

"Pika-CHUUUUUUU!" and people would hear a scream of pain as well as a flash of lightning.

Moments later, Pikachu is smiling innocently while on the floor is the guy who is crispy to the lightning as he says in a defeated voice "you evil little devil. Why must you torment me?" as he collects himself as he gets off the floor and stares at Pikachu while it's on his bed, he has blue eyes and normally his hair is blonde but given what happened, for the moment, it is crispy brown as well his skin being cooled, Pikachu says "pi"

The man says "You need to find a nicer way to get me up Pikachu." he glares at Pikachu as Pikachu goes off as the guy sighs as he gets up and cleans himself up.

As he does, he looks at himself in the mirror and thinks 'Another day another mystery. I wonder what will happen today.' as near them are other pokemon. One of which.

Is a shiny dusk form Lycanroc as it brushes its teeth, The brush is on the wall, and Naruto says "morning Alpha" "Roc." said the Lycanroc

Naruto then goes and gets some breakfast after getting some pants on as other pokemon are moving around the place as a pokemon gets on Naruto's shoulder as he says "I know I am getting breakfast for all of you." he looks at the pokemon as it is a Treecko as his Sceptile had a child.

"Tree!" said Treecko as it's a girl and she can't wait, Naruto smiles as he begins making breakfast for himself and his pokemon. Naruto says "You are so much like your father. He always enjoyed having breakfast with his friends."

Treecko nods and Naruto asks "Are you ready for your partner today?" Treecko nods and says "Tree!" as she stands proud as she wants to be like her father.

Then a pokemon picks up Treecko "Sceptile." it was her father Naruto's Sceptile as he picked up his daughter, Treecko says "Tree!"

Naruto smiles as he gets food ready, then he is done and puts their food down and he puts his on the table, and then sits. Naruto starts eating with his pokemon.

A floating sword moves over to Naruto as it holding the newspaper for him with its long ribbon as Naruto says "thank you Honedge, you didn't have to buddy"

Honedge just eye smiles and says "Hon." Naruto smiles and takes it from Honedge as the ghost steel pokemon begins eating its food.

Naruto unfolds it and begins reading it, Naruto keeps reading as he turns the page until he sees, "sigh again with these Team Skull guys" Naruto then says "Guzma and Plumeria need to get these punks under control."

Then he reads "Masked Royal still undefeated. Man, you are doing well my friend."

Naruto is finished and so are the pokemon and he gets up "Well time to get to Naruko's school to deliver her pokemon."

Treecko cheers as she is going to get her partner. Naruto then returns to pokemon to their poke balls and Naruto then brings out another pokemon and out comes a metallic futuristic looking pokemon it looks like a robot, with a sliver, "Already Miraidon it is time to go to the pokemon school." said Naruto as he gets on Miraidon's back and then they start riding as Miradion turn into ride mode with yellow wheel and begin heads over to the school.

Then Naruto sees some of the team skull riders like they own the road and Naruto smirks. Miraidon jumps very high over them and they are wide-eyed and then they don't pay attention then they run into something. Miraidon lands and keeps going.

As pokemon and people are watching go as one of them asks "morning Naruto, off to pick up your sister?!" Naruto says "Nope going to drop off her first pokemon to her at school." he and Miradion drive off.

Later at the school

A girl with blonde hair was bored out of her mind as she listened to today's lesson. She is in Kukui's class and they were able to get a new student who has a rotom dex and Pikachu.

Then the class hears footsteps and in walks Naruto which all "naruto!" as one says "who?" and finally the girl "big brother!"

Naruto walks in and smiles and then turns to Kukui "Sorry for interrupting your class it is just I have something for Naruko and she just couldn't wait." Kukui says "It's cool man. Besides, it is always wonderful to see you." he smiles Naruto says "and I see you still refusing to wear a shirt…anyway, Naruko com-...who's the kid with the Pikachu?" as he spotted the new kid.

Naruto then walks up and gets a closer look and says "Now I remember you. Your Ash Ketchum." the kid, named Ash "that's right"

"Yeah you were in that Kalos finals, I have to say, you are amazing," said Naruto, and Ash asks "Have you done gym challenges?"

Naruto says "I have, I got so far to battle all the champions. Never beat them but I had fun. Now I am a detective…though that woman scares the hell out of me," he thought of a certain champion with her ace pokemon that looks like a dragon with a star.

"Wait, you mean Cynthia?" Ash asks. Naruto says "Oh yeah but she is a kind woman but on the battlefield forget it she is a demoness."

Ash nods, then Naruto turns to his little sister and pulls out a pokeball. "As promised, Naruko your first pokemon," said Naruto as he hands her the Pokeball and she has stars in her eyes.

As she then lets out the pokemon to see Treecko as she says "Treecko!" Naruko says "a Treecko!" she goes to hug it, the other students smile at Naruko then Ash asks "Where did you get the Treecko?"

Naruto says "That Treecko is the Daughter of my Sceptile. Ever since Naruko saw my Sceptile in action she has wanted one. I promised if Sceptile had an egg the Treecko would be hers."

Ash nods as he gets it Naruto says "now, off I go cause by now Miraidron is likely looking for sandwiches" Kukui says "Well how about we all go see."

They head to the cafeteria and find Miraidon enjoying a sandwich that the Lunch lady kindly made for him, Ash is surprised to see it as he asks for his Rotom Pokedex which says "there's no info on this pokemon. Wait, why is there no data on this pokemon!"

Naruto says "Because this pokemon is not very well known but his name is Miraidon. Now you are not going to add it to the pokedex. It is a secret. So when the time comes it will be on the dex. Miraidon come here please." Miraidon turns and goes over to Naruto.

Naruto smiles and asks "Oh Rotom dex I might have a challenge for you." Rotom dex blinks as it looks at Naruto, "How many forms of Lycanroc are there in your data that other pokedex would have?" asked Naruto.

"There's only two!" said Rotom dex with a checkmark on the screen, Naruto says "Oh so sorry you're wrong actually." Then his Rotom phone comes out and shows three forms of Lycanroc.

Rotom dex falls in defeat, Naruto says "now then, I'm gotta go as I have an office to open and hopefully, my assistant won't try to kill me for being late…again"

Kukui says "Well she kills you then who will sign her paychecks?" Naruto laughs and nods then heads outside Miraidon turns into its ride form and Naruto gets on. Then it takes off.

Ash says "that's the coolest thing I've ever seen" Kukui laughs and they head back to class with Treecko on Naruko's head.

Half an hour later, Naruto had made it in time and was sitting behind his desk looking over the manuscript of his next book as he said "made it" "or did you now?" said another voice.

Naruto looks up and sees to his side, there's a girl who is about two years older, with gray hair with green eyes she wears clothes that speak to an assistant with a curvy figure with large breasts. This is Mabui, Naruto's assistant.

Naruto says "damn it, I thought I made it this time," Mabui says "What is your reason this time?" and Naruto says "Delivering my sister's first pokemon to her."

Mabui looks at him and says "you get a pass this time" she puts away her weapon of pain and Naruto sighs in relief.

Naruto then says to himself "Note to self Mabui keeps this up to dock her pay" "I heard that!" said Mabui.

Naruto says "fuck!" then turns to her "alright what will today bring?"

Soon enough, the office is flooded with people with cases for them to do, Naruto listens and gets to work with all the cases as Mabui handed him a list of things he had to do.

"Alright, the first one is looking for a family heirloom that mystery vanished a month ago," said Naruto as he goes over the next one "then finding the lost Persian. Hopefully it is not that bully one" then he looked over the 3rd one "we have another missing person, a local woman, mother of two, she was seen by her family as she was going for a late night walk after dinner and hasn't returned home for 4 days now"

Naruto gets to work and finds the Heirlooms, as well as the thief, and Naruto is dragging the thief's ass to Jenny and returns the Heirlooms to their rightful owners.

Naruto looks for the Persian, which takes a while cause…turns outs, it was up in a tree. Naruto called the fire department and they got the Persian down. Naruto then goes looking for the woman.

This ended up being tricky for Naruto as he isn't sure where the woman could have gone, Naruto then after two hours of looking finds her as he scratches the back of his head then hears something in the sky which is.

"Againnnnn!" then a group of three, two humans, a man and a woman, and a kantonian meowth as they look crispy as they all passed out from the landing.

"What in the world?" said Naruto as he looks at them, then shrugs and then lets out his Lycanroc "Alright Alpha I need your nose." He holds up a piece of the women's clothing as if she is a tourist. While Naruto thinks as he looks at them 'how are they still alive from a fall like that?'

Then Alpha starts heading somewhere with Naruto following.

An hour later, At the house

Naruto knocks on the family's door that's looking for the woman, they answer and see Naruto with the woman behind him "Here you are, she is safe and sound. Oranguru is a wonderful host, more so those who are hurt."

The two children "Mommy!" They run over and hug her and she hugs them with tears in her eyes as they were so worried, as the man says "thank you, detective!" He shakes Naruto's hand.

"You're welcome but I am not the only one you must thank. If you want I will take you there," said Naruto, the man nodded as well as the children.

Afterward, Naruto is back at the office as he sits on his chair and says "what a morning!" Mabui is doing her work and she asks "how did it go?"

Naruto says "it went well, except for the Persian and a group of people falling from the sky" Mabui is like "Back up people falling out of the sky?"

Naruto says "yeah it's the oddest thing, lets see, one is a woman with big red hair and a guy with white blue hair and a meowth, not the ones from here but the ones from Kanto"

Mabui is really surprised. "Anything else?" Naruto says "The two people were wearing a shirt with a…Red…R on it. Oh shit, it is TEAM ROCKET! Why the fuck are they here?"

Mabui shrugs "maybe they're gone global? Last I heard they only operated at Kanto and Johto" Naruto says "Get the network on it I need more information"

Mabui nods as she makes calls.

Mabui says "well turns out there three you had counter…were the former rising 'star' members of Team Rocket but there in the team kinda went downhill and pretty are acting as rouges on this point all cause they are after some kid and his Pikachu"

Naruto thinks then asks "Is this Pikachu never in a Pokeball?" Mabui checks "yes" and turns her laptop to show Naruto a photo of…well Ash and his Pikachu.

"I knew it," said Naruto and Mabui looks at him and he explains "I just met Ash Ketchup today. He's now in my sister's class."

Mabui says "I think it's best that you should move her to another class 'cause with that boy around, trouble follows and their name is team rocket," Naruto says "No I will not. Besides, did you forget who Kukui is?"

Mabui blushes as Kukui is a powerful pokemon battler so Naruko will be safe along with Sceptile's child Treecko, Mabui says "well sorry for worrying about her"

Naruto nods "Plus she knows if she is in more trouble than she can handle she can call me and I will come and help. I might have a pokemon that will scare many." he smirks, Mabui says "you don't mean?"

Naruto just laughs evilly and Mabui shivers at this she is kinda blushing as she mutters to herself "Why must he be so handsome? Damn him, I want him so badly."

Naruto says "what was that?" Mabui blushes "I-I said, d-do you want lunch?!" Naruto says "Yeah I could go for some lunch, same for my pokemon." Alpha is laying in his bed and looks up and says "Roc." Then another Pokeball opens and out comes Emolga.

Emolga flies to Naruto's head, Naruto says "hey Emolga"

Emolga says "Emo!" and smiles as she is in her favorite place, Mabui says "alright, what will it be?" as she holds up a note.

Naruto says "How about Mallow's restaurant." the pokemon cheers with Mabui nods as she gets right to it.

The following day

Naruto is looking over the newspaper as he thinking that it's been slow today, the door then opens and Mabui looks up and sees someone standing, she sees Ash, "oh look it's the boy with trouble following"

Ash asks "um is this the Maelstrom detective agency?" Mabui says "You're in the right place kid. Wherever it is, our detective will go and solve mysteries."

Ash smirks as he says "cool!" Mabui asks "So what do you need? Lost something important? Lost Pokemon?" then looks at him "or is there someone missing?"

"Oh no no, I'm just here to look around," said Ash and Mabui deadpans then pulls out something from her desk drawer and Pikachu is looking curious and she pulls out a spray bottle that says "Brat be gone spray."

Ash asks "um what are you going to do with that?" Mabui points it at ash and starts spraying him and chases him out as Mabui says "out!" Ash gets wet as he runs out with Pikachu.

Once Ash leaves the building, Naruto walks in he sees Mabui at the door with her spray and he asks "team skull again?"

Mabui says "Ash Ketchum who was looking around but you know that trouble finds him. Besides, it is not a work studies day." Naruto crossed his arms as he says "I see"

Mabui says "anyway there was a call," Naruto says "Ok what was it?" Mabui brings out a note "it was a call from Mr. Stone, of the Devon Corporation"

Naruto blinks "isn't that a big company in Hoenn?" he asks, Mabui says "yup, he said something about a missing employee as no one has heard from him for about a month and he was meant to come back after his vacation"

"Where was he going?" asked Naruto as he is jotting notes down, "well he said the employee was going to Galar to visit family there at um Galar's city's name" she reads "at Ballonlea town"

Naruto nods and keeps writing things down. "Ok thank Mabui please hold all my calls. I have a mystery to solve. Also, It will be interesting to see Opal again." Mabui says "will do and do I also watch over your sister? Given your folks are still in Sinnoh after all"

"Please do Mabui," said Naruto as he put on his Dynamax band. His black Z-ring and his Keystone which is in a medal necklace, "alright, there are leftovers for Naruko, you know her bedtime, um what else?"

Mabui says "Her homework, yes I will help her when she needs it." She knows the routine by this point as she did so in the past.

Naruto nods and then walks outside and heads to the airport…only for him to come back with Mabui holding up a bag of lunch as he says "your the best Mabui" he takes it as Mabui says "someone has to look after you"

Naruto snorts and says "Well I was able to survive on my journey also I might want to change out one of my pokemon" he smirks as Mabui "shouldn't you get going?"

Naruto says "I know I know." he heads to the airport and he gets a ticket to galar and back.

Time skip, at Galar region

Naruto is at the pokemon center and is on the phone talking to Professor Blaze "Blaze can you send over my Lucario please and I will send over my Honedge."

Blaze smiles "Sure my friend I will." there's chaos going on in the background which Naruto hears as he says "d-do I need to know what's going on?"

"Let's just say another trainer I hold pokemon for tried to bully your pokemon into getting more turf. Your pokemon are fighting it. I am about to have one of my pokemon go in and stop this." said Blaze with a deadpan look which Naruto can sense but can't see because he is drinking.

"I see...just make sure they don't break a wall or something…don't need that on my bills," said Naruto, and Blaze says "Naruto I have had a rampaging Groudon here the walls will be fine. But I will send you Lucario if you send Honedge please."

Naruto nods as he puts the Pokeball with honedge on the transporter which activates and then it disappears then another appears and Naruto picks it up as he says "transportation is a success" it opens and appeared in a bright white a dog like pokemon while standing two feet, blue fur and white collar spikes on its chest and hands, this is Naruto's Lucario and it has a Lucarionite in a bracelet around his arm.

"Hey Lucario, old pal," said Naruto as he held up his fist as he waited for a fist bump, Lucario smiled and fist bumps Naruto's fist.

Blaze smiles "Well I have to go and stop the fight Naruto stay safe." The call ends as Naruto hopes that nothing bad happens.

Naruto then returns Lucario to his Pokeball and heads out to where he needs to look, which he remembers to head over toward Ballonlea town.

Naruto gets a flying taxi as he is going to go through the forest from Bea's town which is Stow-on-side Town he thinks 'I haven't seen Bea in a hot minute, I wonder how she's doing?'

Naruto gets to the town in twenty minutes and when Naruto gets off he nods to the pilot. Naruto then brings out Miraidon and gets on him "Head to the forest buddy!" and they head toward the forest.

Sometime later at Ballonlea Town

Naruto arrives and then heads to the Gym as the Gym leader might know something, hopefully.

Upon arriving at the gym, he hears the elderly members of the gym, but more so toward the gym leader, Naruto heads over to them, "hey Opal!"

Everyone turns to see Naruto and the Gym Leader smiles "Oh Naruto it is good to see you again how are you?" Naruto says "I am well but I am not here for pleasure or fun. I am here for work. I have to ask you a few questions about a missing person from Hoenn"

Opal is surprised to hear this "really? I haven't noticed, given I have been busy with my retirement and finding my replacement, I guess I failed to notice that someone is missing"

Naruto nods in understanding "But maybe one of your gym trainers might have heard something. As I need to know where to start. What I got was that he was heading to this town to visit family." Opal thinks about it as she says "do you know their name? Or at least the last name?"

Naruto takes out his notebook and he says "alright, the guy's name is Mark Watersan, he's from Hoenn but come here to visit family which is likely either his kid or maybe sibling"

Opal says "watersan? Yes I know that family, they happen to live near the gym in fact, just to the right" Naruto smiles "Thank you Opal. It is a wonderful starting point." said Naruto with a smile as he waves bye, and Opal waved bye too.

In a few minutes, Naruto is at the house and asking them some questions about the man they too are surprised to find out what happened as one of the children says "is uncle ok?" the mother who is Mark's sister "yes, Uncle Mark will be right"

Naruto says "Darn right he will be. When I find him I plan to get him here and let his boss know what happened. But I will bring him here safely."

The woman says "well if anything he likely went to the forest" Naruto nods "Got it I will go and look for him but I must ask do you have a picture of him?" the woman nods as she hands Naruto the latest photo.

Naruto takes it and says "Thank you, I will return it when I come back with him." Naruto heads out and brings out Lucario, "alright Lucario, be on guard"

Lucario nods and they both head into the forest while keeping an eye out for pokemon, as well as aware of anything else.

Naruto and Lucario make their way through and Naruto says "let's see" Naruto looks for footprints he then finds them but they stop then head another way and Naruto with Lucario follow them.

Naruto and Lucario come across a suitcase, Naruto goes over to it as he sees the initials 'M.W.' Naruto says "He must be near here. This is getting interesting."

Naruto then sees a little handprint on the suitcase and he can tell that it was dropped then sees faint footprints as he thinks 'something must have happened…and I don't think this is the work of ghost pokemon' he follows it.

Naruto knows what lives in this forest then he finds a Hatenna nearby Naruto thinks 'wait' he brings up his rotom phone and brings out the Pokedex app, as he hears "Hatenna, the Calm Pokemon, It senses the feelings of other living creatures. Be careful not to expose it to strong emotions for too long, or it will end up exhausted."

Naruto thinks about it more as he looks up its evolution line, "Hattrem, the serene Pokemon, and evolved form of Hattena, Using the braids on its head, it pummels foes to get them to quiet down. One blow from those braids would knock out a professional boxer.'

Naruto thinks that maybe then goes to the 3rd and final evolved form of Hatenna, "Hatterene, the silent pokemon and final evolved form of Hattrena, Beware of forests that show no signs of living creatures within. You may have wandered into Hatterene's territory."

Naruto says "there three are a big maybe as their lots of cases involving them" Naruto picks up the Hatenna and says "Let's get you back to your family" "hat?" as it looks at Naruto.

Naruto with the two pokemon follows the footprints then ten minutes later finds a tree and sees the man with two pokemon facing him and he is not in his right mind as he is being controlled by Hatterene, Naruto says "Well Hatenna your home. Please convince your family to let the man go as his family is worried about him." Naruto gently puts her down.

Hatenna goes up to them and the Hatterene looks at the Hatenna as they talk, Naruto sweats as he has no idea which way it will go as he thinks 'I hope she can convince them to let him go.'

And in a minute, Hatterene looks at Naruto and then lets go of Mark as all three went somewhere in the forest. Naruto and Lucario head over to the man and slowly help him up. "You will be the ok mark." said Naruto as Mark asks "w-what happened? Where? Who?"

Moments later

Naruto is talking with Opal when Opal says and she shakes her head "this is why you mustn't go into places without the help of pokemon"

Naruto says "That I agree with. I knew I was going into a forest full of Fairy Type so that is why I had my Lucario on hand. But he is safe and sound." Opal says "indeed, now when he recovers, I will personally guide and guard him until he is safely out"

Naruto says "Thank you, Opal. I am glad you are a wonderful, kind and caring Gym leader, make it a shame that you are retiring, and also I will let his boss know what happened to him."

Opal nods as she says "yes it's a shame but even the greats among us know when it's time to stand down and let a new and fresh star take the spotlight"

Naruto says "It is the way of things I still battle but with my detective work and my famous books. I don't have much time. Besides, Sometimes the new generation must take over. I hope you find the right successor."

Opal nods "indeed and that reminds me, the new batch of trainers should be picking thus the next Gym Challenge should be starting, I hear Galar's champion's little brother will be in this"

Naruto says "Oh young Hop interesting. Oh, do me a favor, Opal." Opal says "yes?"

Naruto says "stay pink!" Opal scowls a little then laughs along with Naruto as it is a joke between them. Naruto heads out as he heads home...but not before getting a souvenir.

Naruto gets out of the forest and calls Mabui "Mabui call Mr. Stone to tell him that his employee is fine and will need another couple of days off as he was being held by pokemon"

"Very well, oh and there is something you should know about Naruto," said Mabui through the phone, "What is it Mabui?"

"Do you remember telling me about these three from the Rocket team?" Mabui asks, "yeah?" Naruto said, "well they crashed through the roof and broke your desk"

Naruto gains a vein mark on his head and asks "I hope you made them pay." "and other things…there's a Bewear with them" Naruto just stops as he asks to be sure "I'm sorry did you say a Bewear? With a pink head with the rest black? The big scary bear-like pokemon, Bewear!"

Mabui nods and Naruto says "Then there is nothing you can do. I know that Bewear as it is a powerful pokemon more powerful than a normal Bewear"

Mabui says "but it just…sitting there"

"Sitting here?" Naruto asks as he sees The Bewear sitting there holding the team Naruto looks closer "Wait I might know that Bewear. I will be right there." he hangs up.

The next day

Naruto crosses his arms as he watches Team Rocket doing repairs as a large pokemon that is Bewear sits on the couch Naruto says "I'll be damn, it is the same one"

Naruto says "It has been a long time little stuf." Bewear is happy to see her old friend and Naruto turns to glare at the team Rocket "Let's this be a lesson to you. You break my workplace again this is what you will be doing." he looks at the three as the meowth says "this is cruel"

Naruto blinks upon that, as he turns to Mabui and asks "did that meowth just talk?" Mabui nods and then Naruto asks "Meowth let me ask….you how did you come to be able to talk?"

Meowth gets teary eyes as he begins his long sad backstory about love, hard work, and of course, heartbreak.

Naruto says with tears falling "Ouch. Yeah man I feel for you. But I promise you that you will find love again one day. But I have to ask why don't you work with me instead."

Meowth asks "r-really?! B-but" he looks at Jessie and James, Naruto says "whoever your boss is, is not the kind you want to work for at all. But it is up to you. You see I am a detective and I sometimes need a pokemon translator but it is up to you." as Naruto's Pikachu jumps on his shoulders with a detective hat on.

All three shout "a Pikachu!"

Naruto looks at them and says "well yeah, they're pretty much common" Naruto then says "He has been with me since I was a kid. I had three but Pikachu here learned something he learned to write in the Human Language but does not speak it."

Naruto then hears something and turns to the sky, more so cause of the whole roof, and says "It seems it is that time of year. It is a Pikipek flock."

James says "Pikipek flock?" Mabui explains "one day a year a Pikipek flock goes around and they collect food and take it back home. The island's great bounty must be shared. So where you live it is nothing bad even Bewear understands. When I first started living here I got scared then Naruto took me around and showed me that there is nothing to worry about." Naruto takes out some fruit, bread, and other foods out the window.

Some Pikipek comes and takes them away as Naruto smiles "This is wonderful it is showing that even wild pokemon work with humans as well. This is how Alola has worked."

Time skip a month later

Naruto is looking over a few things then the door opens and Mabui looks to see Naruko Mabui asks "oh Naruko, what brings you by?" Naruko asks "um yes…how do you guys know about giant robots?"

Naruto comes out and asks "Does it have a giant red R on it?" Naruko nods as Naruto says "where do your old pals have the money for there?!" he looks at Meowth, "to be honest, I don't know how at the time"

Naruto sighs "Great. Well, I hope we can stop this." Naruto heads out and lets out Sceptile, once they are gone, Mabui looks at Meowth. She asks "wait does this mean you know how to make crazy things?" "well yeah, I was the brains as I made our old hot air balloon into a jet, I would make a tank with a vacuum to suck up pokemon and even Pikachu-proof containers," said Meowth

Mabui is impressed "Well Meowth as you know you are being paid to teach Naruto's Pikachu to speak the human tongue it will help in cases. But please understand this, don't mess with Naruto, he is from an old and ancient family with dangerous tempers."

Meowth says "I already witnessed and by Arcues's mercy, I don't want to see it again" he has a flashback with James and Jesse trying to steal one of Naruto's favorite cookies. They felt like they were in the presence of the devil Giratina and Yveltal combined and they had faced them before.

Mabui says "well good now then" then there's a loud boom from afar, "I should get the paperwork done and you with your lessons" Meowth nods "Understood." and gets back to the lessons with Pikachu.

A bit later

Kukui and the class come by and Kukui says "Today, in class we are going to learn how to observe things from a real Detective."

Rotom comes out and asks "Who is the detective, is it Laki?" Kukui says "Nope. He is an Actor today you will be learning from Naruko's older brother, who is a real Detective, Naruto Uzumaki"

Naruto walks in and says "yo" Everyone besides Naruko is surprised and Lillie is even holding a pokemon egg.

"Naruto I leave my class in your hands." said Kukui and Naruto says "Got it. Alright class I have gotten a mock mystery for you. Rotom you are not allowed to solve this yourself. This is a team building exercise….so please drop the wig" the Rotom dex is sad as he takes off the wig, which makes Naruto feel bad, Naruto then gets up "Trust me Rotom it is a great show but you need to focus right now. Ok let's go and Mabui will hold my calls ok." Mabui nods

Naruto heads to a location with the class "Ok class this is a mock mystery. A person is lost in the forest and needs your help. Now before you do anything like run off what is the one thing you do?" asked Naruto

Lillite raised her hand "first you must gather evidence, get witness statements from the people who saw them last along with finding clues to help with the search." Naruto smiles "Very good lillie. I have some people acting like people who saw the missing person last. You must also take notes as that is important."

The students nod and see the people naruto asked to do it some people from the market and even officer Jenny is happy to help, "but also remember, a case can go way more than it should, for one, you never know what the case will lead you to"

Naruto remembers many times his cases have gone to different things like a kidnapping or pokemon kidnapping is done by gangs or evil organizations.

With that everyone nods, and they start doing what they need to do, they even split up and do things before looking for the "Lost" person, who is the 'lost' person? Why it is their teacher, Professor Kukui, as Naruto asked him to do it.

When the class gets all they need they head back to Naruto for the next part of the lesson "You got everything good. The next lesson is never to go into a forest without a pokemon at the ready. People make the mistake of going into a place without a pokemon. There was a case I had where the missing person went in without a pokemon and went missing for a few days. After he recovered, a friend of mine was going to escort him out of the forest." said Naruto.

Everyone is listening, "So never go into a place without help or anything else. You never know what you will find and you want to be ready for anything. When I went into the forest I brought out my Lucario as that was a forest with many fairy types."

"Now tell me which pokemon you will bring out for this forest?" asked Naruto as he looked at the students, "our pokemon we have on hand?"

Naruto nods, "Bring out one of them." they do but Lillie is the only one without a pokemon and Naruto says "Ok Lillie I will let you borrow one of mine." Naruto then brings out his shiny Lycanroc Dusk Form, then to his shock, Lillie screams in terror as she backs away. Naruto blinks "Someone wants to fill me in. I am not asking her to touch the pokemon but having protection in the forest can help." asked Naruto as he turned to the other students.

The others explain as much as they know, Naruto sighs "Ok well it seems I am going with you. So Lillie you are staying next to me as you do have a pokemon egg as well so I need to keep you and the egg safe."

Lillie nods as she says "s-sorry Mr. Uzumaki" Naruto waves it off "It is ok Lillie. I was not warned. Now let's go and have your pokemon watch the surroundings as we follow the footprints."

At the forest

They enter the forest and they are following the footprints then Kiawe asks "Hey detective who are we trying to find?" Naruto responds "It doesn't matter who we are looking for, we are looking for someone who needs our help. That is why the detective is called at times to help find people. This is our job to find them and to get them out so they can get the help they need or you lead others to help us get them out."

"So basically ignore the reward and focus on the person," said Kiawe as Naruto says "bingo" they keep going then they go into the clearing and are surrounded by Salandits, which Lillia gets scared of.

Naruto says "Now you are in a situation where you have no choice but to fight but remember to keep in mind your surroundings. So no stray shots at all as we could start a forest fire and put you and the person in more danger."

Salandits are looking at the group and they are not moving. "Now if a stray shot hits a tree I will give you something to remind you that you messed up," said Naruto as he snaps his fingers Alpha's eyes change to red and he charges.

Moments later

Alpha stands proudly while sitting on top of the piles of defeated Salandits, Naruto says "Good you see how quickly Alpha dispatched them." Naruto then walks over to the Salandits and gives them all sitrus berries and they all start eating.

Naruto then says "Heck sometimes you ask the pokemon around you if they can help in finding the person. You never know."

Lillie kinda gets it as she follows as well Kiawe with the rest of the class, "another tip, sometimes you need to go with alternate sources to figure out clues and places as well pokemon cause the legal way can't always work out" said Naruto

Then they come to a fork in the road and there are no more tracks Naruto smiles and Naruko blinks along with the class, "alright, this is the next part of the lesson"

Naruto says "What do you not see?" and Lana says "The footprints are missing." Naruto says "Very good Lana. Correct, sometimes we lose the trail of the footprints. You need to figure something out to find the missing person quickly."

Naruto waits for their answers then Sophocles says "oh! Have one of the pokemon who is good at smells!" Ash then says "I think Pikachu can." Naruto nods "there you go, give it a shot."

"Pikachu!" said Ash as the yellow mouse pokemon jumps off and goes over the footprints and starts sniffing. Then Pikachu looks at the others as he lets out "pi!"

Ash asks "Good Pikachu which way?" and Pikachu points to the right path." they all head that way as Naruto says "good nose" he taps his own as he looks at Ash's Pikachu.

Twenty minutes later

They come upon another clearer and there laying down is Kukui but before they run over Naruto says "Oh no you don't. You need to think first. Not just run over like fools. This could be a trap. You need to observe your surroundings first."

He looks around and so do the others as they notice, glowing eyes in the trees, Naruto says "Now you see why you need to be observant." all of them were sweating.

Naruto then feels the hairs on the back of his neck stand up and turns to the eyes "Students get your teacher and GET OUT OF HERE NOW!"

Alpha growls as well and gets between the pokemon and Kukui and the students run over to Kukui and got him out of there as they are running they hear the cry of that pokemon, which is something Naruto wasn't expecting, "hold on that shouldn't be here!" the students keep going and don't look back.

Naruto is looking around, and Naruto says "The distortion world. Wonderful." Naruto turns and says "Bring it on!"

Back with the students with Kukui they come running out of the forest and Officer Jenny runs over concerned as they all heard the pokemon call "What happened?" asked Jenny.

Each of them explains what's going on, then thirty minutes later Naruto is trudging back panting then falls to his knees and the officers run over to help him up.

"That was unexpected!" said Naruto, they help him stand and Naruko asks "What pokemon was it, big bro?" Naruto says "It was a pokemon who is not supposed to be here. It was Giratina."

Shocking everyone, even Kukui who is sore, as Ash says "Wait, Giratina was here?! And you just fight him off?!" Naruto says "I did not just fight him off." A dusk ball falls to the ground and rolls to his feet and Ash shivers along with Kukui and the students

Kukui says "Y-You c-caught Giratina?" and Naruto nods "Yes I need to send it to Professor Blaze."Ash looks at Naruto as he says "Professor Blaze? I don't think I heard of him"

Naruto says "Yeah he studies dimensions so he kinda works with someone about other worlds. Giratina is also right up his alley. He also studies legendaries on the side note" everyone sees the dusk ball glowing white and then transport.

Naruto then says "Now you see why you need to be observant? Hell, there is a pokemon in Unova. Who wants to be my pokemon? Has anyone heard of Zekrom?"

Ash raised his hand, "Wait really?" asked Naruto, and Ash said, "I have been to many regions like you have it seems." Naruto says "Ok that makes sense but it is rare that Anyone knows about Zekrom." "Well he also overcharged Pikachu when we first got there," said Ash as he laughed nervously, Naruto nodded.

"Ok class that did not go how I wanted it but I am not a fool. So I told you to get Kukui and get out of there. The reason none of you were ready to fight Giratina." said Naruto then looks at Ash "well almost"

Ash chuckles but he only had Pikachu and Rowlet and no other pokemon at all as he left the others back at Oak's place.

Naruto says "I guess the lesson is over and I need to head back…very sure Mabui needs help with the paperwork"

Naruto calls out Miraidon and heads back to the office and is thinking about everything that happened today.

Less than an hour later

Naruto said "and that's the end of the lesson" he is on his chair as Mabui, Meowth, and Pikachu look at him like he had grown a 2nd head,

Meowth says "You actually found that monster he is up there with Yveltal. You actually did it. I must say, great job." Naruto nods "Thank you Meowth now how are the lessons?"

"It's going very well! My student here can say his first ever human word!" Meowth said as Mabui looked to the side as she heard it and she wasn't sure what to say about it Pikachu looked at Naruto and said "Ramen!"

Naruto laughs at that "Oh man. Wonderful keep it up Meowth and you will have Pikachu fully speak human" he smirks as Meowth "meowth that's right! I am enjoying teaching your partner. It will help in your investigations in the near future, heck, I might even open a school to teach other pokemon to speak!"

Naruto nods at that "I agree but you have your two friends I have seen you both undercover. But I hope you can do it. We can learn so much if Pokemon can speak our language."

Meowth says "righto boss, after all, I can speak only for other meowths…well except for my cousin, I'm sure you have met the Alola Meowth?" Meowth remembers meeting his Alola cousin a week ago. Naruto says "I have when pissed they are nasty but your missing one other cousin as well worse than the Alolan Meowth"

"There's another one?! And I'm sure they're not as bad" said Meowth as he had no clue Naruto doesn't say he holds up his rotom phone as it plays a video of a hairy Mewoth with a long beard.

This Meowth is shredding a target to pieces, this scares Meowth, "what is he?" Meowth asks, "oh this one is a girl and she and other Galars are…something else"

Meowth asks "Please tell me that there is a way to calm them down?" and Naruto shrugs "No idea." As far as Naruto knows, Galar Meowths are unpredictable. But the one Naruto has is a sweetheart and has been known to defend her friends/teammates.

Meowth is very nervous and Naruto looks out the window and wonders what is going to happen in the future.

D: *no longer tied up and enjoying some Alola's foods and one of them is their pancakes* This is really good.

P: Yes in mine Naruto has traveled all over and is 18 or 21 but he is a great detective.

D: and lots of pokemon *give a pierce to a pichu that's on his head.*

P: Yeah, like right now he has Giratina.

D: yup and other things so with that. *give the rest to Pichu.*

*Blaze finishes his food* P: Now the list of pokemon he has on hand and the lab as more will show themselves

Naruto's pokemon on hand: Miraidon (for traveling and battling so like Violet, Shiny), Sceptile, Lucario, Pikachu (Detective partner), Alpha the Lycanroc (shiny), Emolga

At the lab's pokemon area Meowth (Galar), Honedge, and Giratina. And Others unknown (each will show up as the story progresses)

*blaze turns and sees that dealt is on the train while the Pichu is still on his head.*

*Blaze gets on and the train starts but Blaze says* P: Uh Dealt we have a problem!

D: What's up?

P: TIME GATE!

P: I believe you! *We go through the time gate as it closes and vanishes.*
