As Yami's dark, formidable form loomed over the broken remnants of Orochimaru and Sasuke, a sudden flash cut through the tension. In a heartbeat, Kabuto appeared, slipping between Yami and his quarry with a swiftness that left no room for hesitation. His calculating gaze took in the situation—his master Orochimaru weakened, and Sasuke barely conscious, his breathing ragged.

Kabuto knew there was no time to waste. Yami's aura of deadly intent was unmistakable, and he could feel the chill of it seeping into his bones. Without a word, he reached down, placing one hand on Orochimaru's shoulder and another on Sasuke. In an instant, a shimmering field of chakra enveloped the three of them, and in a blink, they vanished, disappearing into the dense mist of the mountainside.

Yami let out a low growl, the air around him simmering with unspent fury. He watched the space where his enemies had stood, his instincts urging him to pursue them, to finish what had started. But then he felt it—warmth, gentle and familiar, like sunlight breaking through a storm.

Rei's arms wrapped around him from behind, her presence anchoring him back to reality. The fierce glow in his eyes softened as he felt her touch, grounding him, reminding him that the danger had passed.

"Yami…" she whispered, her voice filled with relief and love. He felt her hold tighten, as if she were afraid to let him go.

Slowly, he turned in her embrace, his demonic form receding, the fierce aura melting away as he returned to his human self. The deep lines of concentration on his face eased as he looked down at Rei, taking in her expression of worry and relief.

She reached up, brushing her hand gently against his cheek, her silver hair catching the early morning light and framing her face in a soft glow. "I was so worried," she murmured, her eyes searching his, as if reassuring herself that he was truly there, unharmed.

Yami leaned down and rested his forehead against hers, a quiet moment passing between them. "They won't get away that easily," he said, a spark of determination still in his eyes. "But right now… I'm here."

Rei smiled, her own strength and confidence returning as she stood by his side, hand in hand, their bond a silent promise to face whatever came next. And for a moment, atop the highest mountain, surrounded by the beauty of Enraoi, they found peace amid the storm.
