Flashback, month 1

Everyone was up and eating breakfast while Rita was working on her book.

"Hey mom, Ronnie Anne and I are going to train for our gym battle," Lincoln said."

"And I'm going to search for more Pokémon," Sid said."

"Ok honey," Rita said."

The kids and teens head out.

"You must feel very grateful to have a son like him," Frida said."

"Yes, we do, and all it took was that luck incident," Rita said." If it wasn't for him, Lynn and I wouldn't have our dream jobs."

"What do you mean?" Becca asked."

"Well," Rita replied."

Flashback to the first month. At the loud house, Rita and Lynn sr. were downstairs in community service vest.

"Girls hurry up, we have to get started on our community service," Rita said."

The girls come down the stairs wearing the same vest.

"Ugh, mom they could have styled these things," Leni said."

"Were doing community service, not a fashion show," Lynn said."

"Lola hurry up," Lynn sr. said."

Lola comes out with dots on her face.

(Fake coughs)" Oh dear, I'm too sick to do anything, I'll just rest here," Lola said."

She was then hit with Eevee's water gun washing the dots off.

"Nice try Lola, we have to do this," Rita said."

She grumbles as she comes downstairs. Lincoln (with Pikachu on his shoulder and Togepi in his arms) comes downstairs.

"Hey guys, off to do community service?" Lincoln asked."

"Yup," Lori replied." And you?"

"I'm going to show Pikachu around royal woods after I drop off Togepi at the Santiagos. I'm also meeting up with Flip at the food and fuel with Clyde and the others," Lincoln replied."

"I'm still can't believe you bought the place," Luan said." And hired Flip."

"Not to worry, he'll be watch so he won't swindle anybody," Lincoln said." Also, I'm having the construction crew be here."

"Why?" Luna asked."

"Just one of the surprises I have for you guys," Lincoln replied." You'll see it when you're back home."

"We look forward to it son, alright everyone let's get going," Lynn sr. said." And thanks for watching Lily."

"No problem, she's been clingy since I got back," Lincoln said."

The family leaves in vanzilla while Lincoln rides his bike to the Santiagos and dropped off Togepi.

"Togepi, we're going to have a mommy daughter day," Ronnie Anne said."

Togepi giggles.

At tall timbers park, the louds were busy picking up trash in the park for their community service.

"This is humiliating, me, a delicate princess picking up trash because these savages can't put them in the garbage!" Lola complained."

"Stop complaining, it's better than going to Juvie," Lana said."

"I agree," Lisa said."

Suddenly some trash was thrown at them by Hank and Hawk as they laugh.

"Hey louds you missed a spot," Hank said."

"Hey!" Leni said."

Suddenly Firestorm appears behind them.

"You two jerks wanna continue?" Lynn asked."

They suddenly see Firestorms shadow over them, they turn around and see him grinning.

"Uh, Hank, we got thing to deal with, right?" Hawk asked."

"Uh, yeah," Hank replied."

They run off.

"Thanks Firestorm," Lynn sr. said."

"No problem, Lincoln figured you guys would have some problems, so he had me watch over you during these three months," Firestorm said."

"That was nice of him," Leni said."

They continued their work. Meanwhile, Lincoln shows up at the food and fuel and met up with his friends.

"Hey guys," Lincoln said."

"Hey Link," Rusty said."

"Hi Pikachu," Girl Jordan said as she pets his head.

A cop car appears, and Flip comes out.

"Oh, it's you ya traitor," Flip said."

"One, I didn't tell anyone, two, it was a karma curse made by Lucy," Lincoln said." Just be grateful that I bought your store and you're still working here, you'll just under strict watch."

"Fine," Flip said." since you did that, I'll give you and your friends free flippy's," Flip said."

He gives them each a Flippy to enjoy, Pikachu and Lily enjoy it as well.

"Too bad that Togepi isn't here, she would love these," Girl Jordan said."

"I know, but Ronnie Anne might get her one," Lincoln said."

"So, Lincoln, do you think there are more Pokémon out there like in space?" Zach asked."

"Maybe, since they are still a mystery," Lincoln said."

"I still can't believe you were a judge at a bikini contest lucky," Rusty said feeling jealous."

"Ignoring that, I'm more curious about that Logan character," Stella said."

"Me too," Tabby said."

"So am I," Lincoln said."

"By the way Link, your mom's book is really amazing," Liam said." (hands the book to Lincoln) Thanks for letting me burrow it."

"No problem," Lincoln said." Ms. Santiago loved it to, if only everyone can enjoy it along with dad's cooking with the berries."

Suddenly, Lincoln gets an idea.

"That's his idea look, the man with the plan's got something," Clyde said."

"Yup, I'll see you guys later, I need to make some calls," Lincoln said."

Later at the loud house, vanzilla drives up the driveway with everyone exhausted.

"Man, that was exhausting," Luna said."

"And to think, just three more months of this," Luan said."

"Hey guys, I'm glad you're back," Lincoln said."

"Why's that bro?" Luna asked."

"Simple, follow me," Lincoln replied."

They follow Lincoln to the back and were surprised seeing a pool and hot tub.

"Lincoln, is this for us?" Lori asked."

"Yes and no," Lincoln replied." this pool is for my water and future water Pokémon and us. knowing us, we would be kicked out from the public pools again."

The sisters chuckled remembering their actions that got them kicked out of the public pools.

"And the hot tub is for us?" Leni asked."

"Nope, that one's mine, but you can use it after you ask," Lincoln replied."

Lori, Leni, and Lola whined.

"Now girls, your brother bought it, so it's only fair to ask him permission to use it," Rita said."

"Your mother's right girls," Lynn sr. said."

The three nod. Suddenly Rita's phone rings.

"Hello," Rita said."

"Rita Loud, Jesse Hiller of the royal woods gazette," Jesse said."

"Hollo," Rita said."

"I've read your novel your son gave me and I wanna publish it," Jesse said."

"Really?!" Rita asked."

"Of course, the story was really amazing that I want to hire you," Jesse replied." So, what do you say?"

"I saw yes," Rita replied."

"Great, I'll have your novel be on sale in stores, and I'll see you in three months to meet in person at your house," Jesse said." And I'm going to guess that the story is based off your son's adventure in that region in Japan?"

"Yes, it was," Rita said." And ok, I'll be ready."

She hangs up and hugs Lincoln.

"Thank you, Lincoln," Rita said."

"Sure thing, I know how much you wanted to write your own book," Lincoln said."

Rita kisses his forehead.

"Oh, and dad, since you and the others are free tomorrow, I got a surprise for you too," Lincoln said."

"Really?" Lynn sr. asked."

"Yup, but right now, let's enjoy the pool," Lincoln replied."

He sends out all of his Pokémon as he and his family enjoy the pool and hot tub. soon, the Casagrandes, Mcbrides, and their friends arrive to enjoy the pool and hot tub.

(Sighs)" Best hot tub ever," Lola said."

"Literally," Lori said."

"Totes," Leni said."

"Si," Carlota said."

The next day, the louds appear at a rundown fish store.

"Um Lincoln, why are we here?" Lola asked."

"Simple, this is the location for dad's restaurant," Lincoln replied."

"Y-you mean, you're getting me my own restaurant?" Lynn sr. asked."

Lincoln nods making his dad hug him and cry happy tears.

"What did we ever do to deserve a son like you?" Lynn sr. asked."

"He truly is the pure heart of this world," Lucy said."

Everyone chips in and helps fix up the restaurant turning it to Lynn's table. they even hired Kotaro and Grant. At the grand opening, everyone enjoys the berry-based food making everyone happy.

"Lincoln, you're the best son ever," Lynn sr. said."

They hug as the flashback ends.

"That was really sweet of him to do that for you two," Stanley said."

"Yeah, that boy is really special," Becca said." But I'm still bothered by Logan."

"We all are," Lynn sr. said."

"Indeed, like Lincoln said, Logan's plans not just involve you but our universe and the others," Carlos said."

The adults nod as Lincoln and the others come back in.

"You kids finished training?" Arturo asked."

"Yup, not only that, Sid, Bobby, Brandon, and Ronnie Anne caught new Pokémon," CJ replied."

Sid shows her Pokémon being Stantler, Pidgey, and Spearow. Bobby shows his new Machop and a little robot-like Pokémon, Ronnie Anne has her own robot-like Pokémon and a Sneasel, Brandon showed a new Pokémon resembling Absol but being an opposite color.

"Wow, amazing," Maria said." An Absol with a different color."

"Thanks, this one it called Combot," Bobby said." and Ronnie Anne caught that one called medroid."

"Yeah, she was healing Combot and Machop after their fight while we were in a cave," Ronnie Anne said."

"He resembles Absol but he's called Retri," Brandon said." he's Absol's opposite."

"Like since Absol is labeled bad luck, Retri is labeled good luck," Lynn sr. said."

"Yup," Brandon said." and it turns out they were the many Pokémon we saved from Logan."

"That's even better!" Rita said."

"I felt a strong connection to Brandon and Absol along with his twin," Retri said."

"So, you two ready to face Morty?" Hector asked."

"Yup," Lincoln said." And whatever he's got up his sleeve, we'll be ready."

That's chapter 18, we've seen the first flash back and how Rita and Lynn sr. got their dream jobs, next chapter facing Morty.

Question, where should I put the other two flashbacks of events during the three months.

Hope you like the Pokémon and fakemon, after seeing Retri I knew he would be perfect for Brandon since Lincoln has Absol.
