Hello dear Readers!
I'm glad that I can continue to write this first story of mine once more after two-year tried to search how the flow of this story will goes.
Like the Old version, I'll follow the flow of InuYasha's canon story, although sometimes I'll make a chapter or confrontation that'll supposedly not happen in canon at all. I also plan to prevent some death that happens in canon storyline. Meaning that my story is somehow following the canon storyline but also disturbs the flow of canon storyline.
And like what I've planned in the first version, some of the deceased Tokyo Ghoul, both the original and Re: characters will make their appearance in Inuyasha-verse.

Chapter 2
Tessaiga
Behind the tree that's not far from the battle with Sesshomaru rages on, Hinami is seen manage to carrying Kagome away from the blinding light that was used by Inuyasha's mother few minutes ago. Hinami is seen rubbing her eyes, feel it become sting because of the blinding light.
'The light that was shown before, it truly came from human? No. Because… I can't sense any human from the women. It could be a trap.' Hinami deduced. She later peek from the tree and see that Sesshoumaru, Jaken, and the giant Oni are nowhere to be seen. 'How could they've disappeared so fast? Is this Yokai's power? Not even Ghoul and CCG's White Reaper can move that fast!'
"Ugh…" Kagome then grunted and seeing that Hinami is next to her. "Hinami-chan… You… You save me…"
Hinami nod while making a small smile. "Thank you so much for taking care of me Kagome-san." She thanked.
"You're welcome. No need to thank me. I can't just leave you there you know. And… I actually just 15. No need to call me by honorifics since our age is maybe same." Kagome replied with a smile, accepting the thanks. "Anyway this is no time for us to know each other. Can you tell me where is Inuyasha?"
Hinami shook her head. "I'm sorry Kagome. I don't know where Inuyasha-san is. The light is making his trace completely gone. If somehow something that related to him is here, I can track him via his scent since I don't remember his scent properly." She explain, losing the use of honorifics in Kagome's name.
"I see." Kagome look down. "I… Have some bad feeling about this."
Hinami suddenly feel something is biting her neck. She then smack at her left neck, which revealed Myouga the Flea. "Myouga-jiisan..." She said in confusion seeing Myouga that comically being flattened in her left palm. "Um… Sorry…"
'He surely a flea.' Kagome thought while had a sweat-drop on her head.
Myouga then comically return to normal. "Hinami, you said you can track Inuyasha-sama as long you remember his scent am I right?" He asked.
Hinami nod. "Anything that connects to Inuyasha-san." She replied.
"If that so-" Myoga later pouring a small drop of blood on Hinami's left palm. "This is a small drop of blood that I suck from Inuyasha-sama this noon. It more than enough right?" Myoga asked.
Hinami smiled. "Thank you very much Myoga-jiisan." She thanked. Closing her face to the blood, she then sniff it. After a moment, she then look upward, and then sniff the air. Hinami actually can use her super hearing to find out the location easily. But her ears are not fully function properly as a detector for now due to her previous injuries. So for now, she relied on the scent that all Ghoul had.
Their sharp sense of smell.
After a few moment sniff into the air, closing her eyes while doing so to concentrate, she then open her eye. "I found Inuyasha-san scent. He's currently in the swamp that located not far from here." She informed.
Kagome immediately stand up. "Let's go then!" Kagome then run straight toward the swamp before turn around and see Hinami while sheepishly rub her head using her right hand. "So… Which way is the swamp?" She asked while have a sweat-drop on her forehead.
Hinami is confuse how to reply Kagome's attitude, but she can reply only one thing due to her naivety of socializing among humans. "You… Such a dummy." She commented, mimicking Touka.
The time later skip when they already reach the swamp. The landscape of it looks terrifying. There a lots of skeleton of human and some skulls of Oni. The water also seemingly looks dirty. Tall swamp grass also grows and some lizards and insects seemingly live here.
Kagome later look to the front, and over a waterway in a swamp, someone that she looks for is seen along with his mother. His mother is hugging him in a seemingly lovely hug.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome said in relief while run toward him.
"Kagome-san! Don't be reckless!" Hinami yelled while chasing after her. 'I also sense something. Sesshomaru-san underling is nearby!' She thought before finally manage to catch up with Kagome and quickly force her to lie down on the tall grass while they seeing the commotion.
"Hinami why?" Kagome asked.
"Hinami realize it Kagome." Myoga said while perch on the young Ghoul's right shoulder. "I think you also realize it."
"Wha-" Kagome later gasp by what she saw.
Inuyasha's mother had no face on it and Inuyasha is unconscious and in the process of being absorb into her body.
'Inuyasha! That lady must be using some kind of trick!' She analyzed.
"So… That's the Un-mother." Myoga said, knowing what kind of Yokai that is seen planning to absorb Inuyasha.
"What is an Un-mother?" Hinami asked while she sensed something. "Sesshomaru-san comrades is closing in." She warned.
True to what Hinami said, Jaken is seen riding a boat that head straight to the location of the Un-mother. How shock he was to see that the no-face Yokai planning to absorb Inuyasha. Act fast, once his boat already make to shore of the swamp, he quickly jumps down, running toward her in panic. "Stop! What're you doing!" He yelled while preparing his Nintojo.
The Un-mother look at the direction of the voice, only for her face to get hit by the Nintojo, leaving a scratch mark.
"No soul-sucking till I tell you!" Jaken said in anger and panic, knowing that if this plan is foiled, his life will be at stake.
"S-sorry." The Un-mother replied. For a standard of Yokai, she surely have a kind tone of a mother.
"You can have way with him later! After he tells us how to find the tomb of Sesshomaru-sama and Inuyasha's Father!" Jaken explain.
"So that's Jaken? Sesshomaru's evil henchmen?" Kagome asked.
Myoga nod. "Correct. But keep your eyes on his staff." He warned.
"Why must be his staff Myoga-jiisan? I thought that it just his weapon to shoot that fire." Hinami asked in curiosity, remembering when she easily dispose the fire that being produce by Nintojo.
"It had a strange ability to seek the tomb that he's talking about. Just watch." Myoga replied.
"Anyway let's get closer." Kagome said as she crawl to getting closer. Hinami and Myoga also do the same.
Back to Jaken and Un-mother, the Un-Mother is seen concentrating on asking Inuyasha the location of his father's tomb. The Hanyo later get suck in much deeper than before.
'Inuyasha! Your father's tomb… Where is it?' The Un-Mother ask Inuyasha's soul telepathically.
On the illusion world that's make by Un-mother, Inuyasha is seen being drowned on a beautiful pond by Un-mother's hand that being lengthened. His eyes are close as he enters deeper into trance.
'Please tell me!' Un-mother's voice is echoing on her illusion world.
'I-I Don't know.' Inuyasha replied in thought.
'Then think harder!' Un-mother insisted. The image of Un-mother hand being lengthen and tried to touch a light that's a presentation of Inuyasha's soul is later seen. 'Let me see into your heart.' She said. When the hand touches the light, she seeing a black pearl. 'What's that?'
'Black Pearl… On the right…' Inuyasha replied.
Back to the real world, Inuyasha is getting further absorb. Jaken meanwhile, is getting impatient by the result.
"What's Black Pearl?! Where?! We need more than that! Go deeper!" Jaken ordered to the Un-mother.
The Un-mother later look at Jaken. Although had no face to showing her expression, she's clearly worried. "But Lord Jaken. If I delve deeper, his spirit will be broken." She said.
However, Jaken doesn't heed the warning. "I DON'T CARE! DO IT!" He said.
The Un-mother merely nod. She then tried her best to dive deeper into Inuyasha's soul. 'Inuyasha…'
However, Inuyasha unexpectedly regain consciousness in her illusion world. "Ugh. Mother… I can't breathe…" He said before open his eyes. Seeing that his body is inside the water, he then look up to the surface only to meet his eyes with Un-mother's face. 'Her face… That mean she-' Inuyasha unable to finish his thought as the Un-mother's hand later constrict him to put him to trance once again.
Back on the real world, Jaken is losing his patience. "WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG! GET A MOVES ON BEFORE LORD SESSHOMARU'S COME BACK!"
However, Hinami's later unleashed her Koukaku, smacking Jaken to the left with it and reveal that she along with Kagome and Myoga already close to him. The Nintojo later falls on the ground and Kagome later pick it up. Jaken is seen thrown to swamp, making a comical scream while on the way.
Kagome later look at Jaken's fall location. "Mean stupid little toad." She sneer at him. "Anyway, did Ghouls really have that kind of things to battle?" She asked Hinami about her Kagune.
"Well… It's complicated to explain it now… But all Ghouls had different types of these…" Hinami replied while a little shy that a human is complimenting her fighting abilities.
Seeing that she's outnumbered, the Un-mother suddenly leap backward along with the unconscious Inuyasha, trying to escape from the swamp.
Kagome who's seeing it, run toward her. "Wait! Let them go please!" She pleaded.
"No." Un-mother replied as she float away from the scene. At some way, Kagome's manage to catch up with her and grab Inuyasha's hair but slip as the Hanyo's body is half-suck entirely. Kagome later falls backward to the ground.
"She sucked him into her! What'd I gonna do?" She said.
"So that is Un-mother… Myoga-jiisan?" Hinami said. "I don't know why… But she seemingly sad…"
"Of course she's sad Hinami." Myoga replied. "Born from the grief of losing children in famine or war, she seeks to fill the void within herself by taking the spirits of others. That's Un-mother." Myoga explain.
"I see." Hinami said. 'So she's basically a phantom of a mother who losing her children and want to fill the void in her heart? I think that's cruel for her. Her spirit then unable to rest in peace!' "Then, can she be stopped?"
"She can be stop." Myoga replied before shout at Kagome. "Kagome! Inuyasha-sama spirit! Awaken him!" He said.
"Awaken it… But how?" Kagome asked before look to the Un-mother, who already on the opposite bank of the swamp, although not far away to go toward her by running. She's seen almost absorb Inuyasha's body completely, with only an arm remaining. Kagome gasp in shock seeing it.
"That's the way. Soon we'll be together always." She uttered.
Kagome later stand up. "There's no time to-" She later look at the water that have Un-mother's reflection along with a child Inuyasha. "That child… Is he… Inuyasha?"
Myoga later jump from Hinami to Kagome's right shoulder. "An illusion. But yes that's how it works." He replied.
"So if I erase the illusion-" Kagome later run toward the reflection. She analyze that if that reflection is the source, destroying it will weaken the Un-mother. Using Jaken's Nintojo, she later splashes the water around the reflection. "INUYASHA! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
The Un-mother suddenly yells in pain as Inuyasha's body slowly gets out until he's thrown and falls to the ground.
Kagome's later kneel when she arrive, tried to support Inuyasha's body. "Inuyasha. Are you okay?" She asked in concern.
Inuyasha later open his eyes, panting for a while, before narrowing his eyes toward Un-mother, who seemingly lie unconscious on the ground. "How dare her! You pretending to be-I fell for it. I can't believe that I thought she was my-"
'Mr. Inuyasha! Why can't you understand her pain?!' Hinami wanted to say that but she knows that Inuyasha is still in shock for almost being absorbed.
"But it was Jaken and your brother Sesshomaru who-" Kagome tried to explain that it was all a part of Sesshomaru's plan.
"What did you-Ugh." Inuyasha later grunt in pain.
Suddenly a familiar voice echoed from far away.
"Inuyasha… I know where it is now." From the mist, Sesshomaru is seen walking toward both Inuyasha and Kagome.
Inuyasha turn his head on the source. "SESSHOMARU!" At the same time Inuyasha finish his yelling, Sesshomaru suddenly appears in front of him and choking him, lifting his body to the air. "Y-you pest!" He said.
"He's quicker than the first time!" Hinami said in surprise. This is more hopeless that when facing with death during the time when her mother is being killed. This man clearly surpasses all logic of Ghouls.
"Of all the places is for him to hide it. All this time beneath our very own noses, or to be tactical above our very own noses." Sesshomaru said with a smile as he lift Inuyasha higher.
Kagome can only look in shock. She knows that if she make a move, Sesshomaru can easily kills her.
"Right above what I might say?" Sesshomaru asked no one in particular. "Father was determine to keep it secret, which is why he choose here to hide it."
Inuyasha later grip Sesshomaru's arm that choke him using his own arm: a futile effort. "W-what'd you talking about? You're making no sense at all!" He said in confusion.
"Well then Little Brother, since it was done without your knowledge how would you like to come with me and find out?" Sesshomaru asked while his other arm had his two fingers pointing toward Inuyasha's right eye. Using Telekinesis, he seemingly pulling something out from it. In the process Inuyasha's screaming in pain.
"Inuyasha-sama!" Myoga said in worry.
Not long after, the process is finish. Sesshomaru later drop Inuyasha to the ground and on his right arm, there's a small black pearl.
Inuyasha later holding his right eyes that had burn sensation on it. Kagome and Hinami later kneel on him.
"Inuyasha-san…" Hinami said.
Sesshomaru laugh a little, happy with his achievement before looking toward the three of them. "No wonder searching beneath ground was useless." He stated. "Seeing yet never seen. Protected yet never known to its protector." Sesshomaru later look at the Black Pearl. "Our father's tomb hidden inside the Black Pearl deep within your eye." He said.
Inuyasha didn't believe this. All this time Sesshomaru hunts for his father's tomb. For what exactly? I can't be he come for honor him.
"I… Don't understand." Hinami said before stand up and glare toward Sesshomaru. "Sesshomaru-san, if you really just want to visit your father's grave to honor his sacrifice, why'd must go through all of this scheme? Why persecute your own brother? Why'd use the poor soul of a mother for such personal desire?"
"Hinami-chan…" Kagome unable to said anything for Hinami's bravery to bluntly ask the seemingly cold-hearted Daiyokai.
"Hinami don't! Sesshomaru-sama will take that as an insult! He won't hesitate to kill you even if you're woman!" Myoga warned.
"I don't insult him Myoga-jiisan. There's no wrong for someone that want to visit his late father. At least he still can do it, unlike me…" Hinami said with a little sadness, remembering the death of her mother.
"Why you ask?" Sesshomaru surprisingly replied. "It's a matter that low-class race such as yours didn't deserve to know at all." He simply said. "However, since you dare ask me." Sesshomaru suddenly form an Energy Whip with fast movement. "Die."
"Hinami-chan!" Kagome yelled.
However, Inuyasha quickly react. He shielding Hinami using his back, making him the one being hit by the Energy Whip. Both he and Hinami being thrown by the force of the attack. "You idiot! Sesshomaru will never listening to anyone! Especially a Ghoul!" He yelled toward Hinami. "Anyway, are those whips hit you? That thing is coated with melting poison!"
"I… Guess don't." Hinami replied. She never expected that the reply will be harsh.
"Why'd you protect her? You must already know Inuyasha. Ghouls are just scum below every scum." Sesshomaru asked with no care in his tone.
"I don't care about that!" Inuyasha said while stand up. "But what Hinami said is true, for something like that… YOU USE SCHEMES AND PRETENDING SOMEONE TO BE MY MOTHER!"
The Un-mother is seen regaining consciousness. She's struggling to stand up.
"Humph." Sesshomaru later smiled. "You're not amuse?" He asked.
"No I'm not!" Inuyasha replied before tried to slash him with his claws. "You bastard!"
Sesshomaru, using his speed leap upward and unleashing another Energy Whip. "Die." Inuyasha's manage to avoid the first and the second strike. However, the third strike is hit his stomach, making him crash to the ground. Seeing the perfect chance, Sesshomaru later whipping his Energy Whip once again with killing intention. However, the Un-mother suddenly leap in front of Inuyasha, taking the blow that destroy all of her body except her head.
Inuyasha can only look in shock.
The Un-mother's head later rolled on the ground and facing Hinami, who's still sitting on the ground after being protected by Inuyasha.
"The Un-mother!" Myoga yelled in surprise.
"She gave her life to protect him!" Kagome stated.
"A mother's love…." Hinami uttered while a tear is seen leaking from her eyes. This scene making her remembering that horrified scene once again. "… Why…"
'Don't be sad young girl.'
Hinami gasp hearing the voice that entering her head, she then realize who's talking to her. "You… Talk to me?"
'You have no need to pity me. I was already a monster that already sucks up hundred souls of innocent children who wants mothers love for my selfish wish.' The Un-Mother said.
"That maybe true." Hinami replied. "But… Just wanting a child that loves you… That's not wrong…"
Un-mother is silent for a moment before finally voicing thoughts. 'Then… Allow me to say thank you… For pitying me…'
Suddenly Un-mother's head is being destroyed by none other than Sesshomaru. His face shows nothing of sympathy or pity for the misguided mother's phantom. Inuyasha look at him while growling.
Looking at the scene, Hinami narrow her eyes toward Sesshomaru that land gracefully to the ground. This man clearly has no heart and only cared for his personal benefit. She truly hated someone like these. But somehow, he can't find herself to hate Sesshomaru completely.
'I don't know why but… His eyes, beneath those lack of empathy toward others, I can see a small spark of frustration and sadness on it.' Hinami thought.
"Hey you!" Kagome meanwhile yelled toward Sesshomaru. The latter merely glance at her.
"Kagome don't! Don't you see what happens to Hinami before! He'll kill us both!" Myoga warn in fear.
Meanwhile, Jaken's manage to crawl back from the swamp and secretly taking his Nintojo back. He then crawl in silence until he got close to Sesshomaru.
"Jaken." Sesshomaru called. "Jaken!" He then look around, moving his head left and right searching for his faithful follower.
"Aye My Lord!" Jaken replied while running toward his master.
Kagome and Hinami shock to seeing that Jaken manage to escape. The most is Hinami. She must be off guard not smelling him although she already remember it clearly.
"Lord Sesshomaru! The Nintojo! I already take it back!" He said while giving it to Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru later take it and look at the Black Pearl once again. "At last the moment has come." He said in satisfaction before dropping the pearl on the ground. Using the Nintojo, he later crush the pearl, while suddenly, the head of the old man on the Nintojo is laughing.
"The old man laughs! It means the tomb will open!" Jaken said, already understanding the mechanism of Nintojo in finding the tomb.
Slowly, some kind of warp portal is opened in front of Sesshomaru and Jaken. As the one that never known supernatural abilities like this due to her constant run, Hinami is the one that most shocked by this.
Smiled, Sesshomaru and Jaken later jump to the portal and disappeared, while the others just watch in shock.
"They're gone!" Kagome said.
Myoga later jump toward Inuyasha, who just looking at the portal. "The portal! We must move quickly before it closed! Do you want your brother to take sole possession of your father's treasure?!" Myoga ordered.
Inuyasha look at Myoga. "Let him. Why do I care?"
Myoga later bouncing on Inuyasha's right shoulder. "But Sire!"
"I never said I'm going in there okay!" Inuyasha retort. "Say your prayer Sesshomaru…" Inuyasha later threw the remaining of Un-mother's kimono on her left shoulder in anger. "Grrh… YOU'RE DEAD!" He later look at Kagome and Hinami. "Both of you stay here! This too dangerous for both of-" He then realized that Kagome is gone. He then look toward the portal and saw that the reincarnation of Kikyo is ready to enter. "Huh?" Inuyasha making a face fault.
"What'd you want, an Invitation!" Kagome yelled at him before entering the portal.
"Hey!" Inuyasha later rush toward the portal.
"Mr. Inuyasha!"
Inuyasha later stop to look at Hinami who's calling him. "Listen you just stay here okay!? I already have one mortal to keep watch over!" He advised.
"I want to follow in there as well." Hinami said. "Maybe… I not strong enough to fight Sesshomaru-san but… I can at least protect Kagome-san."
Inuyasha thought for a moment before sigh. "Fine! If you injured it's not my fault okay!?" Inuyasha agreed reluctantly as he later entering the portal. Hinami later run toward the portal and entering it as well.
Inside the dimension that lead to the tomb, Kagome is seen floating forward until Inuyasha and Hinami manage to catch up.
"You're realize that Sesshomaru's there!?" Inuyasha warned.
Kagome glance at him. "Well duh that's why we gotta go! No one does that no matter who he is!" Kagome said, ignoring the warning. "And why'd you take Hinami-chan here as well!?"
"She's the one that insist to follow!" Inuyasha retort.
"I can protect myself Kagome-san! No need to worry about me!" Hinami said to Kagome. 'I just make some bonds in this mysterious location. I don't want to lose it!' She thought determinedly.
After that, they come out from the portal on a strange landscape filled with white mist and giant rock. There is some kind of birds but made entirely of skeleton that flies around a giant humanoid dog skeleton that wearing some elaborate armor. This is Sesshomaru and Inuyasha Father Tomb: The border to the afterlife.
The four of them is come out on the sky, making they fall to the ground below. Surprisingly, one of the skeleton birds is saving them before they fall and taking them toward the giant skeleton.
Inuyasha immediately recognized the giant skeleton. "Father."
'This is Mr. Inuyasha and Mr. Sesshomaru's Father! It so huge!' Hinami thought in amazement. Up till now, the biggest living thing she ever saw in her world is the Owl's Kakuja. "But why'd one of his fang is broken?" She murmured after realizing that one of Inuyasha Father's fangs is like snapped in half.
Kagome also share the same shock, although she vocalizes it. "Those giant skeleton are your dad?" She asked in astonishment.
"What else would they be?!" Inuyasha asked her. Of course because both Hinami and Kagome never saw giant Daiyokai like this, Inuyasha already expected their amazement seeing something like this.
"Not that he was alive once too but…" She then realize what Inuyasha just said. "What do you mean what else? They're huge okay!" Kagome said in annoyed tone.
"It's true." Myoga, who's perch on Inuyasha's neck spoke. "They're huge because he himself is in comparable stature."
The skeleton bird later circling the head of Inuyasha's Father, before entering its giant mouth.
"Here he is in his truest form. Undisguised!" Myoga reveal. "The treasure sword embedded in his bone! That's what Sesshomaru-sama is after."
"Um… Sorry for joining but… Could that treasure had a connection to his broken fangs outside?" Hinami suddenly asked. She concluded that this treasure is must be a part of Inuyasha Father's body.
"We'll see." Myoga simply replied as they entering the body further.
Inside the stomach where thousands of human skull is seen lie, Sesshomaru and Jaken is seen facing a golden altar where a rusty katana is seen being stabbed on it.
"Here is what I've sought. At last I shall take possession of the sacred sword." Sesshomaru said as he look toward the rusty katana. "The lethal legendary blade known to kill hundred in one stroke, Tessaiga." He revealed the katana name is Tessaiga, the thing that he looking for up till' now. At last he will have it and fulfill his destiny as the oldest son of the Great Dog Daiyokai.
Surpassing his father then challenge the strongest being alive.
Sesshomaru late grip the Tessaiga, tried to pull it out from the altar.
Jaken amazed at Sesshomaru's achievement. "They said it was forge from the fang of your Father's own mouth. Once you possess the blade Tessaiga, You possesses his power as well!"
However, as Sesshomaru tried to pull out the katana, a sudden spark of electricity suddenly form around his hand. Feeling burning sensation, Sesshomaru pull his right arm from tried to pull out the katana.
"AHH!" Jaken yelled in shock, seeing that his lord unable to pull out the legendary katana. "It's not stuck is it?" He carefully asked, afraid that it will ruin his lord's mood.
Sesshomaru's right palm later is covered with blue fire before it leaving a burn mark on it. Sesshomaru merely look at the injuries. "Father has done his work well. The blade isn't sourceful to-"
"SESSHOMARU!"
Sesshomaru hearing a familiar voice. He then glance up to see Inuyasha, Kagome, and Hinami is standing on his father's ribcage.
Inuyasha immediately jump down to punch him. "We're not finish yet!" However, Sesshomaru disappeared before he can land a punch, making him fall and rolling on the human skulls. He then quickly get up. "Now where'd he go?" He look for him until finally found Sesshomaru is seen standing on the ribcage that is locate few meters behind from Inuyasha's falling site.
"Be more respectful. It's our Father's tomb." He said.
"Looks who's talking! You're the one in here robbing his grave! Why not respect him by leaving!" Inuyasha argue.
Myoga, who's perch on Inuyasha's right shoulder, suddenly called him. "Inuyasha-sama! Look back! Look back!" He yelled.
Inuyasha then look at him. "Where? How come-" He then look toward the Tessaiga.
"Do you see it? The blade from your father's fang! Tessaiga!" Myoga revealed to him.
'Wait a minute! That is made from the fang of Mr. Inuyasha's Father? Sounds like a Quinque.' Hinami thought with a little interest and awe. Seemingly Inuyasha's father is so confident with his own strength that he dares to make a weapon from a part of his own body.
Inuyasha later walk toward the golden altar where Tessaiga is being stab into it, but with a look of disappointment on his tone. This rusty old katana is supposed to be his father's? There's no way that's possible. "What? You mean this? It's a piece of junk. Tes-sai-ga what? It wouldn't even cut paper!" Inuyasha stated in disappointment.
"Inuyasha-sama. You must draw the sword. Please." Myoga said seriously before looking at Sesshomaru, who's standing on one of his father's ribs, who's looking at his younger brother with his deadpan expression. "And you Sesshomaru-sama, you couldn't pull it out could you?"
Sesshomaru is becoming curious by Myoga's words. That's impossible. Did he meant that his father's sword reject him. 'Why father?' He thought before answering Myoga. "Do you want to say that Inuyasha can?" He asked curiously.
"Of course. It was always intended that Inuyasha-sama should inherit it." Myoga replied immediately before backing away toward Inuyasha's hair in cowardly fear. "He-He was entrusted with the tomb wasn't he? Th-That should be prove enough if you ask me…" He fearly said before hiding on Inuyasha's hair.
Inuyasha meanwhile does not believe what Myoga just said? Does he really mean his father truly trusted his strongest sword to him? A mere Hanyo? Inuyasha known he never saw his father. But this…
"Now hurry! Hurry and claim what's yours!" Myoga said while hiding on Inuyasha's hair.
Inuyasha later look at Tessaiga once again, before scoffed. "Hmph. What entrusted? What inheritance? For all I care, he can keep the rusty piece of junk!" He said still in denial of not believing that his father truly trust him. He then look at Sesshomaru with anger, before yelling at him. "What I do while though is the other stuff! Good thing you're in a grave cause' you're gonna die!" He later jump toward Sesshomaru and tried to slash him with his claws, but Sesshomaru immediately disappear before he can hit him, making him only cracking his father's ribs.
Sesshomaru later appear not far from Inuyasha, jump down toward the golden altar. "Now was that aim at me?" He asked with a mocking smile before land on the ground and jump to the air, later turn around to face Inuyasha who's chasing him. Inuyasha tried to pummel Sesshomaru with a barrage of claws attacks and fist, but the Dog Daiyokai easily avoid all of the attacks. At one point, Sesshomaru use the ribs of his father as a footing to leap away from Inuyasha's attack at super speed, leaving only his afterimage behind. Inuyasha once again hit an empty aim and lose his balance because of it and crash to the ground.
Inuyasha later leap immediately to stand. "Tch. Damn!" He grunted in frustration unable to land any single hit.
Sesshomaru later land behind him softly. "You fight as though your still a child." He mocked plainly.
"You can't fight with bare fists! The sword! Get the sword!" Myoga advised while hiding on Inuyasha's hair.
"You shut up!" Inuyasha ordered.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome called him from her perch. "Get the dung sword!" She yelled.
"Kagome?" Inuyasha is confused by Kagome's suggestion.
"Sesshomaru couldn't pull it out right? If you can hit him in the body, hit him in the ego! Hurt his pride!" Kagome gives him some encourage words while advise the Dog Hanyo to take his right that is left by his father. 'Inuyasha. If your father really trust you with Tessaiga, please accept it!'
Feeling refreshed because of Kagome's words, He then look at Sesshomaru with a smirk. "I get it!" He said before turn toward the Tessaiga's altar. "I'll do it! If only to see the look on your face!" He mocked before walking toward the altar.
Sesshomaru just look at him, although some part of him feared that what Myoga and Kagome said could be true after all.
Inuyasha later holding Tessaiga's grip, ready to pull it out. "This is going to be more fun than I've thought!" He said before using his power to pull out the sword and surprisingly, the sword doesn't emit the electricity like when Sesshomaru's tried to pull it out before.
From the mountain of skulls on the tomb, Jaken break himself free while look at shock that Inuyasha tried to pull out the Tessaiga from the altar. "N-N-N-N-NO! Inuyasha's immune to the spell that thwarted Sesshomaru-sama!" He stated.
'I knew it! Tessaiga is fated to become Lord Inuyasha's!' Myoga stated.
However, not like the expectations, after some time has passed, Inuyasha, like Sesshomaru, is unable to pull out the Tessaiga from the altar.
Inuyasha later speak to Myoga with a face-fault. "Yo." He called.
"Yes?" Myoga asked.
The scene suddenly change to Inuyasha trying to comically crush Myoga between his two fingers. "I couldn't pull the sword out could I!?" He asked while his right eyebrow's twitching.
"N-Not really no…" Myoga said.
Sesshomaru, who's watching the entire ordeal is grown tired with it. "Are you done? I am." He then rush toward Inuyasha with incredible speed that only leaving afterimage behind, before suddenly appear in front of his younger brother to attack him with his claws. Inuyasha manage to avoid it and run away to keep his distance, only for Sesshomaru to easily caught up with him, grab his shoulder tightly before corner and smack him to a wall of his father's ribs. Inuyasha grunted in pain of being smacked. He then smiled and put his other hand on attacking position. "I don't think you've met my Dokkaso." Sesshomaru's right claws later shining green, meaning that the poison is ready for attack. Avoiding it to the left, Inuyasha manage to avoid being melted by Sesshomaru's poison before tried to keep his distance once again.
'That attack… I see. So that's the reason why my Kagune is melting during the surprise attack that I make before.' She thought before opening her eyes, activating her Kakugan and later unleash her Koukaku, which is inherited from her mother. She then jump toward the battle. "In any case, I've must help Inuyasha-san so he can focused on the sword!"
"Hinami-chan don't!" Kagome yelled at her, but it's too late. "I've gotta go down to help too!"
Inuyasha meanwhile still tried to keep her distance. 'Ugh. That was too close!' He thought when Sesshomaru suddenly appeared beside him.
"Running?"
Inuyasha then tried to slash him, only for him to disappear and suddenly appeared in the air. Creating his Energy Whip once again, he tried to whip Inuyasha in the face. Inuyasha later stop running to protect his face using his Hinezumi no Koromo hand sleeve, but Hinami managed to appear in time and using her wing-like Kagune to shield Inuyasha and herself from the whip. The Kagune receiving deep slash because of the attack.
"Hinami?" Inuyasha asked in confusion before realizing the situation. "Stay out of here! Sesshomaru can easily kill you!"
"Even so…" Hinami later glance at him with pure determination on her eyes. "… I don't want to be a watcher of two brothers tried to kill each other! I won't allow it! Inuyasha-san…. Quickly take the Tessaiga. I'll hold your older brother for a while." She said.
"You… Handle me?" Sesshomaru asked while landing on the ground. "Let see you try." Releasing another Energy Whip, he tried to whip Hinami away, but the young Ghoul using her Rinkaku to parried the Energy Whip, with the costs it being severed easily.
'Ugh! So strong!' She thought in amazement of Sesshomaru's strength. It's amazing that Inuyasha can keep up with him barely.
Was the Yokai can become this powerful?
Sesshomaru grew tired of Hinami's persistence. 'Not only once, but thrice you dare to interrupt me.' Sesshomaru thought before using his speed to appear in front of Hinami, tried to decapitate her head. Hinami however, tried to use her Koukaku to stab Sesshomaru's torso, but he managed to avoid it using his speed, appearing behind Hinami and pierce through her stomach using his claws. "Low-class should know their place. You even not worthy enough for my Dokkaso." He stated.
Hinami widen her eyes in shock seeing that Sesshomaru could outmaneuver her easily. He then spat out blood before fall to the ground.
Sesshomaru later look at Jaken. "Jaken. Take care of this low-class." He ordered his loyal subordinate before rush toward Inuyasha, who's on his way to pull out the Tessaiga once again.
"Y-yes my lord!" Jaken replied before preparing to burn Hinami to crisp using his Nintojou. He's standing close to the altar. "Ha ha ha! Silly Ghoul! It's still one million years too early for you to stand a chance against Sesshomaru-sama! Ninto-" Jaken unable to finish his technique as Kagome suddenly jump down and land on his back, making the Kappa comically fall in pain. "AOOH!"
Kagome later look hatefully toward Jaken. "You coward! How dare you tried to hurt an innocent girl!" She said.
Jaken eyes had comical swirl before he getting up and look toward Kagome in anger. "Why you…" He said before tried to hit Kagome using his Nintojo, only for her to catch it with both of her hands. A struggle of strength later happened.
"Ugh… You're stinking toad!" Kagome mocked. "I don't understand why'd Hinami-chan race is look by disdain by all of you!?"
"You stinking human!" Jaken countered.
"Ugh… This human is gonna kick your-"
"I don't think so!" Jaken then make a push, making Kagome lose the contest and falls to the ground.
Meanwhile, Inuyasha once again forced to avoid Sesshomaru's Energy Whip. However, He dropped his guard seeing both Kagome and Hinami lie motionless on the ground.
"Hinami! Kagome-UUGH!" He grunted in pain because Sesshomaru punch his stomach and later his face. "AH!"
Back to Kagome, she's still tried to get up while Jaken is closing in, tried to shoot fire his Nintojo.
"What's the matter? Is that all you've got?" Jaken asked mockingly.
Kagome later managed to get up using the Tessaiga as a support to stand up. "Uh… Not even started…" Kagome said before gasp looking at Inuyasha, who battered and lied to the ground whiles Sesshomaru preparing his Dokkaso for coup de gra.
Inuyasha meanwhile struggle to sit up. He then jump for an attack, but Sesshomaru dig his left hand claws to his stomach easily, making him yelling in pain. Looking at his younger brother with a smile, he then prepare to use his Dokkaso. "The time has come." Putting his Dokkaso on striking position, it later glows. "Die." He then leap along with Inuyasha that still on his hand and smacked him to the ground while his claws are ready for a kill.
Kagome later immediately act. "Inuyasha!" She called in worry while accidently pull out the Tessaiga from the altar. Realizing what she's doing, she looks at the sword in confusion. "Eh? Oops."
Hearing that Tessaiga being pulled out, Sesshomaru stop his intention to kill Inuyasha before looking toward Kagome in pure confusion.
How could a mere human managed to pull out the strongest sword of a Daiyokai so casually?
Jaken can only look in shock. "Th-That's impossible! If the two of them couldn't do it, how could a mere human ever to…."
Hinami meanwhile, manage to regain consciousness since all the time she's focusing her energy to healing her pierced stomach, which leaving a huge hole. She also shock that a blade of a Yokai is managed to be pull out by a human. 'B-but how could Kagome-san can-'
"Sorry." Kagome look at Inuyasha and Sesshomaru while apologizing. 'Now what?'
Seeing the opening, Inuyasha tried to strike Sesshomaru. "Don't look at her. Look at me!" He then tried to slash him with his claws, but Sesshomaru like always managed to avoid the attack. He then disappeared before suddenly appear in front of Kagome, making the girl gasp in shock. She then shivering in fear while still holding the Tessaiga.
"What are you? And how did you draw the sword?" Sesshomaru asked curiously.
Myoga then jump to Inuyasha's right shoulder after spending his time hiding on the latter's hair. "Good thing he's after her and not us right Inuyasha-sama?" He said in relief.
"Be quiet!" Inuyasha yelled at Myoga, making the old Yokai shriek before looking at Sesshomaru. "Sesshomaru! Leave her alone she's not involved in this!"
"Inuyasha!" She called him before looking toward Sesshomaru and brandishing the Tessaiga in front of his face. "One step close and I'll cut you!" She threatened the Dog Daiyokai, which of course failed.
Sesshomaru not reply, but turn to look at Inuyasha with his deadpan face. "For some unknown reason I was unable to draw Tessaiga. Fortunately you're unable to draw it either. It's obvious that she must die." He stated.
"You're right. It's weird she could do it while we couldn't, but she still just a human girl!" Inuyasha argued. "Kagome! Give him the sword. There's no choice!" He ordered, clearly concerned of her safety.
"No way! Why's he automatically got to keep it? If he couldn't pull it out that he doesn't supposed to have it." Kagome said. "He'll have to come and take it!"
"Don't be stupid! You're only a human! Or shall I remind you what Sesshomaru did to Hinami recently!?" Inuyasha pleaded. "So back off! Shut up and butt out!"
"But a-" Kagome later point toward Inuyasha using Tessaiga, while Sesshomaru merely look at their interactions neutrally. "Why'd you know? You're just a-"
"Hmph." Sesshomaru scoffed, gaining Kagome's attention. "Inuyasha, your patience with this creature is astonishing to me." He then bring one of his hand to swipe his long white hair. "You're protect her. Indulge her. Even seem to love her." He said, while his adversary just gritting his teeth at the statement. Sesshomaru later turn his body toward him. "Certainly this feeling of mercy of yours are not something I inherited from our great and terrible father."
'Now I understand!' Hinami finally manage to get something after Sesshomaru seemingly talking more than he used to be. She still can't stand up so she sitting on the ground. 'So all this time, Sesshomaru-san is unable to understand why'd his father like humans despite his race superiority that result in Inuyasha-san, his half-brother.'
Sesshomaru later narrowed his eyes. "It must have been that mother of yours. That human mother, who cause our father to meet his end… In this ignoble place." He stated. "Her blood affects you as well. Is it that what so indulge you to them?" He asked curiously.
Hinami later sensing that Sesshomaru seemingly tried to do something.
"When it comes to humans. I of course, bear no such weakness." He stated before suddenly turn toward Kagome and spray her using poison from his Dokkaso.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome later being engulfed by the surrounding wall and the altar that's melt because of Sesshomaru's poison buried her body and seemingly kill her.
"Kagome!"
"Kagome-san!"
"So fragile. Don't you agree Little Brother?" Sesshomaru asked Inuyasha, seemingly had no remorse for his actions.
"Sesshomaru…"
"And not just Humans." Sesshomaru seemingly tried to create an Energy Whip once again. "Hanyo… And Ghouls too." He later is shooting his Energy Whip toward Hinami, who can only look in shock when the whip is trying to cut her the same way as Un-Mother.
"Hinami!" Inuyasha later jump in front of her, protecting her from harm.
"Inuyasha-san…"
"Just stay here!" Inuyasha later jump toward Sesshomaru. "Sankontesso!" Inuyasha tried to attack him, but Sesshomaru jump upward to avoid it and using a strange fluff called Mokomoko on his right shoulder, he constrict Inuyasha and bring him toward him.
"How could've you think with your dirty blood that you're my equal?" Sesshomaru demanded with disdain before spinning and using the momentum to throw Inuyasha away, smacking him against the wall once again. Inuyasha later falls to the ground and struggles to stand up.
"You-" Inuyasha then being pummeled by barrage of Energy Whip that used by Sesshomaru, who slowly descend to the ground while whipping him.
"You're forget your station… Worthless Hanyo!" Raising his voice, Sesshomaru later smack Inuyasha using his Energy Whip, making him hit the wall again and falls to the ground.
"Inuyasha-san!" Hinami yelled in worry while she's too weak to even release her Kagune. Fear of being left by someone that accepting her in this world starting to haunt her once again. He then struggle to stand up to foolishly tried to fight Sesshomaru.
"Low-class." Sesshomaru said while glance at her, releasing a heavy killing intent. "If you so much make a move, I'll kill you."
Hinami then shivering in fear. She unable to do anything against this foe. 'No… No… I don't want to… I don't to face that event again!'
"Hanyo huh…" Inuyasha later struggle to stand up while looking toward Kagome's burial site. He then remembering the time when he's discriminated as a child, only her mother is care for him and even cry, seemingly feel at fault for making Inuyasha a Hanyo. Inuyasha now admitted that he's love his mother. "Hanyo or not, to me it don't matter. But when you insult my mother, that's when I'm get angry!" He said in anger before glanced toward Sesshomaru. "For her sake then if nothing else-" He then suddenly dash toward Sesshomaru. "-I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PAY!" He said before managing to strike Sesshomaru's chest armor, shocking him slightly. Sesshomaru quickly take a quick response and jump upward.
"That was for mother! And this-" Inuyasha later jump and manage to reach Sesshomaru. He then slash his chest armor once again. "-THIS IS FOR KAGOME AND HINAMI!" The spark is created when Inuyasha's claws manage to hit Sesshomaru's body armor.
Jaken who watch the entire ordeal, doesn't believe that Sesshomaru's getting hit. "Th-This can't be happening! A moment ago he couldn't hit at all!" He remarked.
Realizing that the odds slowly turn to Inuyasha, Sesshomaru jumps away and land on the ground, revealing that his chest armor is breaking to pieces. Inuyasha later do the same. However, he paid no attention to it and look toward Inuyasha with a mocking smile. "All that for a memory of a dead mortal girl? If I know that's what it took to make you fight, I would've killed her sooner." He pointed.
Hearing it make Inuyasha angrier toward his older brother. He later cracks his claws. "I'm gonna slit your stomach, take out your gut and put it in a bowl!" He threatened. "By the time I've through, you're gonna wish it is you who's dead!"
Suddenly, the melting wall starting to move, and later shows that Kagome's perfectly fine without any sign of injuries. Her hands still holding Tessaiga.
However for Hinami, this is a relief. For a second, the trauma then passed away. What replace it is happiness seeing that the first person that saved her in this unknown world is still alive. "Kagome-san…" She unable to hold off her tears.
"I thought I was a goner." Kagome uttered.
"Huh?" Inuyasha look in comical shock, seeing that Kagome's fine without any injuries.
Kagome later stand up while yelling at Sesshomaru. "Hey you! You tried to kill me didn't you!" She later walk and stand beside Inuyasha while pointing the Tessaiga toward the Dog Daiyokai, who of course didn't show any emotion except neutral look on his face. "Don't go thinking you're gonna get away with it mister!" She then give the Tessaiga to Inuyasha. "Here. I think we're underestimated it. Don't let me down."
"Uh…" Inuyasha still in shock before regaining his composed attitude. "Hey! Um… How could you're still alive?"
Kagome later also look at her palm, she also confused.
Sesshomaru however, know the reason why. "The sword. That's what protected you." He uttered as the skulls below his feet suddenly shaking.
"It's true! Those claws of his hold deadly poisons! It had to be the sword or she really would've died." Myoga said from Inuyasha's hair. "Why not put it on the real test and try it on Sesshomaru-sama?" He asked while looking at Sesshomaru with narrowed eyes.
"Big words. For such small vermin." A faint red aura suddenly appeared on his body. Open his eyes, his pupils shrinking and later the skulls around him levitate using his Telekinesis in form of swirling of wind, before throwing it toward Inuyasha and Kagome.
Kagome protect herself behind Inuyasha, making he's the one that's being hit, but it no matter due to his durability is strong enough to hold against an attack like this.
Inuyasha narrowed his eyes, knowing what this all mean is.
Sesshomaru is going to get serious.
Kagome is confused for now why'd Sesshomaru so obsessed with the Tessaiga. 'What's his problem? What a jerk!' She thought while protecting herself against the hurling skulls thrown by Sesshomaru.
"Let see a Hanyo can even wield the Tessaiga." Sesshomaru said in fake interest. "I myself shall be the witness!" His eyes color later changed to blue while his sclera turn to red. The aura around him intensified. His face suddenly morph into that of a dog before his body is engulfed completely in red aura. He then leap to the air, before landing hardly to the ground, revealing his true form as a gigantic white dog with crescent moon mark on its forehead.
Hinami's getting scarier now. He on the human form is bad enough but this is even scarier. The aura around him is even more intense than Yoshimura or Eto's Kakuja. "So this is… Yokai…"
"He's changed…" Kagome also shivering in fear.
"Good! Cause know we know his real form." Inuyasha stated while look toward Sesshomaru, who growling and barking at him.
"Now that I've using this, I'll win for sure." Inuyasha stated in pride before remembering something. "Kagome! You shall take Hinami and get out of here!"
Kagome nod, before run toward Hinami.
Seeing that now he can fight freely, Inuyasha then jump toward Sesshomaru. "Here goes! This is it sword! Time to show me what's you're made of!" Sesshomaru then tried to bite him, but his size make smaller manage to avoid it and tried to slash his front leg, but find it doing no damage at all.
"Hinami-chan, are you okay?" Kagome asked while supporting her to stand.
"Yes I'm-Kagome-san look out!" Hinami yelled as Sesshomaru seemingly tried to crush them. Using her remaining strength, the young Ghoul manage to dodge the attack that crush the wall that's hit by its front leg.
Inuyasha meanwhile land to the ground and find that Tessaiga is shaking after hitting Sesshomaru's body. "It didn't even make a scratch." He said as Sesshomaru later jump to crush him with his front leg. Inuyasha manage to avoid it in time by jumping on a platform, but Sesshomaru crushing it. He then tries to bite Inuyasha, but he managed to avoid it due to Sesshomaru's slow movement. But his transformation adding something deadly to his arsenal.
The Dokkaso now transferred from his claws to his fangs as well. A fact that Inuyasha quickly noticed. He then yell at Myoga. "Myoga-jiiji! What's the deal!? This sword can't even bruise let alone cut!" Inuyasha said in frustration.
"Well uh… Inuyasha-sama. I'm supposed that I um… It will make a lovely heirloom if nothing else." He said as he suddenly had his backpack with him, clearly want to run away. "W-Well besides is the vote that count!" He then jump from Inuyasha's body, tried to get away from the battle. "Now if you're excuse me!"
"Hey! Hey!"
"And don't let Sesshomaru-sama push you around okay!" Myoga said before dashing to safety.
Inuyasha heavily sigh, remembering Myoga's nature before he turn back at his transformed older brother. Sesshomaru's saliva is pouring down from his mouth, releasing cloud of poison when it melts the ground. Inuyasha realizing that if the cloud of poison spread, it will endanger both Kagome and Hinami even him as well. "Uh Oh. Kagome quick! Take Hinami and get off the ground!" Inuyasha yelled in concern.
Kagome while supporting Hinami, starting to back off. "Wh-What did you suggest?"
"Kagome-san. I-I can use my Kagune to take us up." Hinami suggested.
"B-But your body-"
"I'm fine." Hinami later sprouting two Rinkaku. One is constricting Kagome's torso gently while the other use to climb the tomb. "Ghouls are able to heal much faster than human. Maybe for now I can't fight but at least I can take you out from here." She then starting to climbed up the tomb. 'Mr. Inuyasha, I hope you can return safely!' She thought.
'Inuyasha!' Kagome thought in worry.
Sesshomaru later roared before lunged toward Inuyasha, trying to slash him using the claws on his front legs. Inuyasha later jump from the attack. He then starting to cough, feeling the cloud of poisons.
"I can't stay her for too long." He remarked before jump upward. But the poison already taking effect on his head. Inuyasha starting feeling dizzy and landing on a large tree branch. He coughed before feeling that his body starting to getting numb. "Ugh… My legs are going numb!"
Suddenly, Sesshomaru climb upward and bite Inuyasha on the torso, taking him down back to the tomb. Trying to crush his own younger brother with his jaws while he's yelling in pain, he looks at him gleefully.
"Ugh." Inuyasha grunted while looking at Tessaiga. "I bet even mosquito will bite harder than this piece of junk!" He said before stabbing Sesshomaru's eyes, making him rolling and twitching in pain, before jumping up from the tomb to the outside.
On the outside of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's Father Stomach, Hinami and Kagome finally managed to get out from the toxic fumes that already spread on the inside. The young Ghoul later dropped in exhaustion while panting. Her Kagune is dispersed into red particles.
Kagome is concerned by her condition. She already lost against Sesshomaru's humanoid form and she doubt that the wound that pierced her stomach will heal in short time. "Hinami-chan are you okay? You don't need to force yourself." She said.
"I-I'm fine Kagome-san." Hinami replied with a forced smile. "I-It will be fine with a little rest. Sorry but… I'm completely exhausted now…" She said while panting.
'She force her body too much! She need a treatment!' Kagome thought while the giant shoulder pad of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's Father suddenly break, revealing that Sesshomaru with Inuyasha in his jaws are jumping from the inside.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled.
Manage to get himself free due to Sesshomaru wincing in pain, Inuyasha later jump close to Kagome and Hinami. Sesshomaru later landed on the ground while feeling his right eye is twitching from the little pain that caused by Tessaiga. He later is barking in anger toward Inuyasha.
Suddenly, from the bushes that close to Kagome, Myoga is appeared. "Now do you see the power of Tessaiga? Hope he gives Sesshomaru wack-off I hope." He said while jumping.
Inuyasha hearing the sound of the Flea Yokai, immediately look at him annoyed. "Where'd have you been? This thing is about as useful as a walking stick!" He asked while complaining about Tessaiga that seemingly useless.
"Oh. Maybe it isn't from your father. Uhum." He said before hiding in the bush and take thousand steps to safety.
"Hey! He left" Kagome yelled, starting to get annoyed at Myoga's cowardly attitude.
"Why'd I'm not surprised? In the meantime what I've going to do with this thing?" Inuyasha said when Sesshomaru jump and tried to pin him with his front legs. Inuyasha jump to the side, he already know Sesshomaru's moving pattern, able to easily avoiding his attacks while he tried to counter attack with Tessaiga, but it can't harm Sesshomaru at all. He then jump backward close to Kagome and Hinami location.
Kagome then decided to encourage him. "That's it! Suck him up Inuyasha! I think the first one hit!"
"What are you nuts? That wasn't even close!" Inuyasha replied with annoyed face-fault.
"But the sword is yours now. All you've gotta do is believe in it. Like I believe in you!" Kagome said to encourage him.
Sesshomaru later licking his front legs, seemingly amused by Inuyasha's antics of not knowing Tessaiga's full potential.
"You're nuts! This sword is good-for-nothing! Me I'll live because I'm Hanyo, You and Hinami though won't have a chance." Inuyasha said referring to Sesshomaru's strength.
Kagome later look down while had tears that tried to fall from her eyes. "So I should've just… Give up hope?" She asked.
"Wh-" Inuyasha turn and making a face-fault seeing her crying. "What're you doing? You're not crying are you?" Inuyasha asked, not expecting that Kagome will cry. "NO CRYING!"
Kagome later yelled at him. "Oh… SHOULD I'VE LAUGH?!"
"No! YOU SHOULD SHUT UP AND LET ME PROTECT BOTH OF YOU!" Inuyasha said forcefully to silence her.
Kagome gasp, never expecting the selfish Hanyo said something like that.
Sesshomaru however, walk close to their standing ground, looking at them menacingly. Inuyasha later walk forward, Tessaiga draped on his shoulder.
"You just stay here and watch!" Inuyasha ordered.
"Wait a sec. I didn't imagine that did I? Did he just say he protected me?" Kagome asked in confusion. Did Inuyasha is not selfish as she thought? 'In some way he's like his brother. But on the others he's totally different!'
"It's okay Kagome-san." Hinami replied. "Inuyasha-san… Is not lying."
"Hinami-chan… How could you know?" Kagome turn around and asked him.
"Since little I can see from their eyes if someone's good or not." Hinami explain. "Mr. Inuyasha is a good person so don't worry."
Back to Inuyasha, he later stand face to face with the transformed Sesshomaru once again. Sesshomaru later roaring.
"Yeah yeah roar at you too buddy! Let's get this over with!" Inuyasha mock Sesshomaru inability to speak in his true form when suddenly Tessaiga is pulsing. "Tessaiga is pulsing…" He uttered. 'I can hear it! The sound from before… No, this time is different!' He thought.
Jaken, who's revealed to be safe, yelled at Sesshomaru to encourage him. "Get him Sesshomaru-sama! Bite his little head off that's-OAH!" He unable to finish his word as Kagome is throwing skulls at him, making the Kappa comically fainted.
"Huh! We'll see who eats who!" Kagome yelled at the Kappa before looking intently toward Inuyasha. 'You can do it Inuyasha!'
Deciding to end this battle once and for all, Sesshomaru later jump high to the air to delivering a killing blow with his left front leg that's coated with Dokkaso.
"Now!" Inuyasha later jump to counter while Tessaiga suddenly transformed from rusty old katana into a great katana that looks like a fang, the same shape as Inuyasha and Sesshomaru Father's fang. Using it, he severed Sesshomaru left arm from his body, making the Dog Daiyokai roaring in pain and disbelief before crash to the ground, growled in disbelief.
Inuyasha later land safely and look in awe at Tessaiga's true form. "It looks like a fang…" He uttered in amazement before smirking at Sesshomaru, who starting to get up despite the blood that's keep flowing from his wound. "Hmph. It's a fang. The old-man really did leave something worthwhile." He stated. "So here we are? Two brothers fighting over father's sword. But compare to him you're mere nothing."
Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes.
"Don't you get it? We're likes a couple of fleas jumping around on his body. Huh, we'll be lucky if he didn't squash us flat." Inuyasha continued, while Sesshomaru growling in anger hearing it. "So maybe I don't have too much memories of him, but it was me father chose to hide his tomb in after all. I'd rather give up an eye than give up his sword. MAYBE I'M NOT SO WORTHLESS THEN AM I?!"
Hearing enough, Sesshomaru launch at him, only for Inuyasha to letting out a battle cry and slashing his torso with Tessaiga, making him lost his footing and fall to the rocky terrains below.
Jaken, who's already regain consciousness with comical bump on his head, not believing that his lord is being defeated that easily. "Ah! Sesshomaru-sama!"
However before his fall, Sesshomaru suddenly morphed into a small blue ball made of light, getting away from the scene.
"DON'T LEAVE ME!" Jaken yelled at his lord as he also getting away from the scene, jumping on one of the skeleton birds to follow Sesshomaru.
Inuyasha meanwhile, decided not to chase Jaken and Sesshomaru, since he's too tired and Sesshomaru seemingly already learned his lesson.
Kagome later approach him. "Inuyasha!"
Inuyasha meanwhile panting then stabbing Tessaiga hard to the ground, before kneeling in exhaustion.
"Inuyasha are you okay?" Kagome asked in concern.
"Khu khu khu, I take it back. So the sword not such a piece of junk." He said in proud of his Father's heirloom when Myoga suddenly appear on his right shoulder, making the Hanyo realizing his presence.
"You see! I was right. Of course, if you listen earlier you never had-" Myoga later comically hold one of Inuyasha finger that tried to flatten him in comical way. "Wait over there! See." Myoga pointing that he's searching for skeleton birds for them to going back to the outside world. "I wasn't running away. I was getting us a ride home! Anyway we must quickly cured Hinami injuries! Despite the claim, Sesshomaru-sama must be have some poison that injected into her body. Her natural regeneration can't help much!" He said in worry. "You believe me right?"
Inuyasha nod, Myoga is right. But first, he have a business to taken care of with the Flea Yokai. Smiling, he then look in thank you. "Ah, so you didn't run away?"
Myoga nod. But finally he admitting something. "Okay I admit it! I ran away! But you have to believe me! If I know you would've come back I've never left you!" He said while kneeling, meaning that he's ready to be trapped in the tomb forever if Inuyasha ever died against Sesshomaru. "I ashamed of myself! I should've had more faith! Please! Please forgive me! If only I can make it up to you!"
"Myoga…" Inuyasha then suddenly hold the old Flea Yokai between his two fingers, smiling menacingly before comically squash him, turn his expression immediately into an annoyed look.
Myoga then fall like a paper to the ground. "O-Oh well. Such a Fleas… Rotten life."
Kagome is looking confused from the scene, while Hinami's giggling. Inuyasha attitude of not easily revealing his true emotion make her remembering Ayato.
'I wonder how'd the other goes on without me? Big Brother… Ayato…' Hinami thought.
Later, they've managed to return to the outside by getting through the same portal as before. Inuyasha is seen carrying Hinami on his back while Kagome is holding his hand. Not long after, the portal closed, reverted back into the Black Pearl that return back to Inuyasha's right eye.
"So, how're you doing?" Kagome asked, referring to the Black Pearl.
"Actually I'm feel pretty okay. Everything is back to normal." He said as he rubbing his right eye. "And at least I now know that the old-man can rest in peace."
"But… To think someone from the other world like me able to see something like that…" Hinami uttered, still amazed by Inuyasha Father size. "It's… Something I can't ever think to see."
Time later skip to Kaede's house. Kaede is seen lit a fire while Kagome, Hinami, and Myoga is seen sitting around it. Hinami's wound is already bandaged and starting to heal slowly, but Kaede advise her to not force herself for the time being.
"I must say that you continue to surprise me." Kaede said referring to the incident that involves Kagome.
"My theory is because Kagome is mortal. Don't forget. Tessaiga was forged by Inuyasha-sama Father as a way to protect his mortal mother. It was his feeling towards mortals that allow Inuyasha-sama to wield it effectively." Myoga theorized.
Hinami smiled hearing it. "So Tessaiga is like a symbol of Inuyasha-san Father's hope that one day human and non-human can understand each other…" She then look down. "If only someone like him existed in my world…"
Kagome is feeling pity for Hinami. While being treated, the young Ghoul already told her of her story that she's from a different time of modern Japan where Yokai don't exist but Ghouls on the brink of extinction by mortal because of the belief that Ghouls is just a man-eating monster and some Ghouls act like that, making the hatred keep intensified. She also told by her that she's already an orphan when just thirteen years old since her father and mother are murdered by not justified reason other than they're Ghouls.
'Those CCG is so cruel. I know that seemingly Ghouls is sinful because they can only eat humans but still… What they're doing is wrong. In out there, maybe there are Ghouls like Hinami who actually didn't want to eat humans at all.' She thought in pity.
"For someone like Sesshomaru, who can only hate humans, wielding Tessaiga was impossible." Myoga said while crossing his arm.
"This is strange story. To Inuyasha, his Hanyo's heritage has been a curse. His feelings for his mother have been tinted with shame. And yet those feelings are what make him different. That's why his father choose him to be his resting place. Perhaps the one that resemble the father is not Sesshomaru, but Inuyasha." Kaede summarized.
"But Myoga-jiisan… I don't know why, but it seems that Sesshomaru-san… Is just longing for acknowledgement from someone…" Hinami said, revealing what she saw from Sesshomaru.
"How could you say that?" Myoga asked curiously. What could Hinami seen from someone that's cold-hearted as Sesshomaru?
"Maybe… It just my feelings." Hinami quickly said. She still know nothing of Sesshomaru so she can't easily measure his personality easily. "But… I want to thank you." She said before looking down in gratitude. "Myoga-jiisan. Kaede-baasan. Kagome-san. Thank you so much for accepting me even though I'm a Ghoul."
"It's okay child." Kaede replied. "Like I said before, I'm not the type to judge person just because of their race. Even just because I'm Miko that work to eliminate Yokai, I know that not all of them are bad."
"It's okay Hinami. Although I admitted I'm little scared about your kinds though…" Kagome said.
"Thank you." Hinami thanked. "But… Can you tell me actually why'd you ended up here Ms. Kagome?"
And so, Kagome begin to tell her from the first day she accidentally fell into Bone Eater's Well from modern times to the Sengoku Jidai, about her being the reincarnation of Miko that's revealed to be Kaede's older sister, her first encounter with Inuyasha and about the Shikon Jewel, and of course the breaking of the jewel and make Kagome and Inuyasha search around Japan to prevent the shard fall into the wrong hands.
"That's so…" Hinami then stopped, unable to express her amazement in words. But she felt a little jealous because Kagome can still return back to her time.
"I know. It was really unexpected. But my parents accept it, and people in here are actually kind enough." Kagome said with a smile before stand up. "Anyway I'm going to see Inuyasha for a while. You shall take a rest Hinami."
Hinami nod, agreeing with Kagome.
Meanwhile on his usual perch, Inuyasha is seen swing the Tessaiga, but found that it can't transform back into the fang form like before. "Haah. I've spoke too soon. Now it's back to being a piece of junk." He said while looking at the Tessaiga.
"Inuyasha." Kagome called him while approaching the tree.
"What?"
"Do you want me to tell you? You know… How to use Tessaiga?" Kagome offered.
Inuyasha then jump down, feeling interest with the topic. "Since when are you the expert?" He asked.
"Well do you promise to protect me with it? Forever and ever?" She remind him of what he said back on the tomb.
"Huh?" Inuyasha eye is twitching. Does Kagome really believe his words back then? "What in the world do you babbling about? Your brain is broken or something."
Kagome immediately felt her anger rising. "But you said I should've let you protect me!?"
"But I didn't mean it like that! If you'll shut up for a minute I've tell you what a sword should really be use for!" Inuyasha replied, annoyed that Kagome really believing his statement back then. "Stuff like collecting Shikon Jewel Shards and making me more powerful! I'm sure is heck ain't wasted it on baby-sitting on helpless little human like you!" He said while walk away.
"What about Hinami!" Kagome yelled. "You said the same!"
"Same as you!" He replied.
"Hum!" Kagome then push Inuyasha to a wooden bridge, before get back to the other side.
"I don't get it!" Inuyasha said at her while standing on the bridge.
"Osuwari." Kagome commanded. Suddenly, Inuyasha falls on the bridge, breaking it and make him fall to the small streams below. "It's my fault for I'm thinking that I can teaching an old dog a new trick!"
Inuyasha later climb up, his outfit is wet. "What did you mean trick?"
Kagome ignored him and back to Kaede's house.
"Wait! Where are you going!? Come back here! You said you tell me how to use the sword!" Inuyasha yelled at her, to no avail.
However, Hinami secretly eavesdropping on them using her super-hearing from Kaede's house, and she giggling hearing it.
"Is something the matter Hinami?" Kaede asked while lit up the fire.
"Nothing Kaede-baasan." Hinami replied while holding her laugh. "It just… I think that Kagome-san and Inuyasha-san are fit with each other." She said. 'I don't know why'd I can fall to Sengoku Jidai, or how I can come back. But… In this place, there are many kind people who accept me without looking for my race, so while I tried to search how I'll go back to my world, I'll help Kagome-san and Inuyasha-san on the search for this Shikon Jewel Shard.'
