Chapter 3

Unexpected Friendship

Few days had passed since the battle against Sesshomaru and the quest for taking Inuyasha Father's heirloom, Tessaiga at the Border of the Afterlife. Since then, there's no sign of the Dog Daiyokai for a moment. Inuyasha since then is focusing how to control the Tessaiga properly while Kagome sometimes return back to her era, doing her study at the Junior High School of Tokyo.

However, for someone that's always in caution ever since she joined Aogiri Tree two years before the Auction Raid, Hinami is always kept her guards up. There's a possibility that Sesshomaru and Jaken can return at any time for stealing the Tessaiga. This could be calm before storm.

However at the same time, she find herself that she can relaxing herself in this world. There's no fear of being hunted by CCG and the humans in here seems pretty good since they have Yokai in here to contend with. But she can't deny the fact that like CCG in her world, this world must be also had their own Yokai Slayers that dedicated to eliminate Yokai from Japan.

However, the fact Ghoul is existing in Sengoku Jidai is shocking her. Not only because their number is dwindled to almost total extinction, but they also being discriminated by Yokai as the lowest of the low. She want to somehow help them but she knows she's powerless to do so. She's however glad that there are Yokai's like Myoga and Hanyo like Inuyasha who never discriminate Ghoul.

'I hope that Ayato-kun is able to move on without me in the Aogiri. But… I wonder about Onii-chan. Did he really forgot anything about me?' Hinami thought of him while she playing her feet on the small pond that's found by Inuyasha. Currently, she is decided to repay Kagome kindness toward her by helping her on the mission to collecting the Shikon Jewel Shards. While doing that, maybe she can search for some way to return to her world. Hinami currently wearing the same dark-colored skirt, but wearing a long-sleeved shirt that Kagome's lend her.

Because of her joining the group, she can get closer to Inuyasha and Kagome, especially about Inuyasha's desire to become a full Yokai like Sesshomaru. Hinami can't blame him though because of his past that being persecuted for being a Hanyo.

However, If someone like Inuyasha ever to existed in her world, he's the perfect target for sadistic Ghoul that loved to torture their victim's mentality.

"Hinami-chan!" Kagome called while swimming in the pool. "Don't just dumbfound by yourself! Come here!" She invited her to swim well.

"Sorry… But I can't swim…" Hinami replied with a little shy tone.

'Oh yes! I forgot about that…' Kagome thought. Thanks to her life or death world, Hinami's unable to enjoying the lives of being a normal mortal. "Okay! Take care of my uniform's there!"

Hinami nod before looking at Kagome's mid-school uniform. How she wants to enjoy being in a school.

Meanwhile on the tree that stand not far from the pool, Inuyasha is seen lie his body on its branch. He's seemingly bored of something. "We've been away for three days now. You said that if we left the village we'll found more jewel pieces out here in Musashi. But-" He said in bored tone to Myoga, whose perch on the tree leaves.

"Yeah yeah… Sure whatever." He replied.

Inuyasha then look at Myoga. "Are you listening to me or what?" He demand.

Myoga later look toward Inuyasha. " U-Um… W-Well Yes… O-of course you're right. I was just a bit uh… Distracted by her young lady down there." Myoga said while looking toward Kagome that still swimming on the pool.

"Listen you-"

Myoga later jump and landed on Inuyasha's left knee. "I'm just gonna go check on her. Okay?" Myoga then jump down from the tree, much to the Hanyo's annoyance since he's like avoiding the conversation.

"Your just gonna get clobbered. I wouldn't do it if I were y-" Inuyasha suddenly stopped talking as he saw something white in color jump past him. He immediately turn wary.

The thing is jumping quickly in rapid zigzagging movement, going straight toward the pool.

Myoga meanwhile is also on the move. But he then saw Inuyasha is racing toward the pool as well and he can't help but letting out a teasing smirk. "Inuyasha-sama… You naughty boy. You can't resist either." Myoga said, completely misunderstand Inuyasha's intention.

Inuyasha meanwhile is chasing the thing that move pretty fast that it even manage to surpass him in speed.

However, his movement rustling the bush, alerting Kagome and Hinami.

"Huh?" Kagome then saw something then scream in embarrassment. "KYA!"

Hinami then also saw Inuyasha but thanks to her naivety, she doesn't understand why'd Kagome is screaming like that. 'Could this… Like the times Onii-chan is entering Onee-chan room only to be thrown by a tissue box and she yells to get out?'

"Heh?" Inuyasha meanwhile had comical confusion while still in the air. He fortunately manage to land on a rock that emerge from the pool despite comically losing his balance for a while. "Jeez. Would you please not screaming like that it's not what you think!"

"It's not because of you! It's my clothes!" Kagome yelled while pointing at the place she put her clothes.

'Kagome-san clothes!' That lit up something on Hinami's mind as she look beside her only to find that Kagome's uniform are gone. 'Oh no! I ruin what she trust me to!' She thought while feeling guilty. "Kagome-san I'm sorry!"

Inuyasha meanwhile looking that the thing that he chase is getting away from the scene and it was revealed to be a small white monkey. He then heard a sound make by a whistle. "I've heard a whistle!"

"A whistle?" Hinami asked before tried to locate the source using her hearing. 'I heard rustling leaves. A small monkey is jumping toward that rustling leaves. And the sound is-I found it!' "Inuyasha-san! The sound is located three-hundred meters to the east. There's a person on there sitting below the tree and a small white monkey is going toward him!" She informed.

"To the east then. That's enough for me!" Inuyasha later jump toward the tree that's located behind Hinami, passing above her before land on the tree then jump to the another toward the sound of the whistle. 'Although I can track that sound myself, her hearing is not bad after all!' Inuyasha thought, complimenting her abilities.

"Wow. How could you do that? I thought Ghoul greatest senses is their nose." Kagome said in awe. The fact that she can located the sound so fast meaning that she's a good tracker and spy.

"Well… Some Ghouls can trained their other senses to the limit so they can do something that other Ghouls can't. But… Some also have superhuman senses beside smell… Like I just did before…" Hinami explain. Thanks to her stay with Kagome and Inuyasha, the young Ghoul trust them enough to knowing her superhuman hearing.

Meanwhile on the tree that Hinami informed to Inuyasha is the source of the whistling sound, a young man around Hinami's age is seen sitting on below the tree, protecting his body from the sun. He has black hair that tied into a short ponytail and black eyes. He has fair skin and wears a purple shitagi and a blue hakama over it. A standard obi is tied over the costume, which holds his katana. He also wears a pair of wooden zōri on his feet. True to what Inuyasha and Hinami's heard, he's whistling like calling for something.

Then, the same white monkey that stole Kagome's uniform is jumping toward him while holding her uniform, stated the fact that the monkey is the young man's pet. "Uh… Uh… Uh…" The monkey is making sound before jump to his master's lap.

The young man later look toward the monkey with a smile. "That's my good boy. So, what'd you bring me this time?" He asked.

The monkey later giving him Kagome's uniform. The young man, thought it was a bag, is searching for the inside. Once he hold something inside, he pick it out, only to holding Kagome's bra. He then make a shock face because of it.

"T-this isn't something to eat!" He realized.

The monkey later make a silly pose, seemingly beg forgiveness from his master.

Suddenly, Inuyasha is appearing from the bushes beside him. "HEY!" He yelled.

The young man startled.

Kagome later appearing beside him, still wearing her swimsuit. "Give my clothes back!" She said.

Hinami later appearing as well, seeing that her hearing description is right.

The young man immediately unsheated his katana. "Who're you? You look suspicious!"

What he get is Inuyasha casually kicking his face. The man making comical stance of being hit while the monkey is screaming in concern, tried to get his master free. "We're just about to say the same thing!" He said, while the monkey is running in circle, panicking.

"Um Inuyasha-san… Don't be too hard on him. His monkey is sad and panicked." Hinami pleaded.

The time later skip forward. Kagome is forgiving the young man because it was just an misunderstanding. She then sit beside the man, while the monkey is playing with Hinami. He seemingly happy know that she's defend his master. Inuyasha meanwhile is leaning his body on the tree trunk, looking toward the sky.

The young man is seen munching on the potato crisp that Kagome give him in rapid movement, sign that he's hungry after not eating for a while.

"You've must be feel very hungry." Kagome noted. She then making a hot instant green tea for the young man. "Would you like some tea?" She asked while give it to him. The young immediately accept it and drink it.

"Thank you." He thanked before gulping the tea. He then look toward Hinami, who's playing with his monkey. "Hiyoshimaru surely likes you." He noted.

Hinami realized that the young man is talking to him. "Does he not that easy to be like this with someone?" She asked curiously. The monkey, now named Hiyoshimaru, later making a sound before sitting on the young Ghoul's lap.

"He usually is hard to be like that. Maybe it's because what you said when he's kicking me?" The young man said referring to Inuyasha, who Kagome is surprisingly giving him a dog food. They then seemingly bickering of something like junk and homework.

"Don't worry. Inuyasha-san is actually kind." She assured him.

The young man later looks at Kagome, before giving a signature stance of samurai giving a respect to someone. "I give you my thanks women. The chips potatoes were delicious!"

Kagome nod, receiving the gratitude before introducing herself. "My name is Kagome. This is Inuyasha." He said while pointing toward the Hanyo.

"And my name is Hinami. Nice to meet you." Hinami introduced herself. Although at first hard, she managed to learn to properly introduce herself to stranger since she deduced that human in this world are not entirely bad.

Suddenly, the young man find something stinging his cheek only to find Myoga is sucking his blood. He immediately smacked the flea Yokai, making him comically flattened and fall like a paper to the ground.

"He's Myoga the Flea." Kagome inform him while Myoga flying past her.

'Myoga-jiisan surely like any kinds of blood. If he's ever exist in my time, he's labeled as evil by CCG immediately.' Hinami thought while a little confused by Myoga's habit.

"You've said before that you're separated from your allies." Kagome noted the conversation he had with the man off-screen. "Tell me are you're noblemen?"

The young man later cross his arm while closing his eyes. "I'm not in the liberty to reveal my family!" He said. True to this age, any noblemen must never reveal their family to a stranger. He then make a few steps away from Kagome before look at her with honest smile. "But my name is Nobunaga." He introduced himself.

The name's revelation however brings Kagome in shock. Of course she is. Who any Japanese that doesn't know the name Oda Nobunaga, one of the Three Great Unifiers of Japan beside Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. She then put both of her hands in her cheek, in happiness because she didn't expect she met a historical figure. "N-N-Nobunaga! The Nobunaga!" She then run toward him before forcefully shake his hand. The young man, now known as Nobunaga, only making a confused expression. "Let me shake your hand! Oh I'm so glad to meet you!" She then suddenly pick up a note and pen out of nowhere. "Can I have your autograph?" She pleaded in happiness.

Hinami, although in silence, is know who's Nobunaga. Kaneki sometimes telling her about the Japanese history besides teaching her hard words from Sen Takatsuki's novel.

"Uh… Okay." Nobunaga confusedly agreed before sign in his autograph on Kagome's note.

"What's gotten' you so excited?" Inuyasha asked. He clearly doesn't mind anything about human historical route.

"It's because in me and Kagome-san time, Nobunaga is known as the one that united Japan under one ruler which at first Japan is ruled by several rulers in different lands. After he and the other two dubbed Three Great Unifiers of Japan united Japan, Japan starting to become peaceful than before." Hinami tried to explain to Inuyasha.

"Humph. Whatever." Inuyasha huffed.

Kagome meanwhile, had a disappointed look after she received the autograph. It's revealed that his name is Amari Nobunaga instead of Oda Nobunaga. "Eh? Amari Nobunaga? But I thought you're Oda Nobunaga?"

'He's not Oda Nobunaga!' Hinami thought while she remembers that Kaneki never told her about his age, only his path to unified Japan into one.

Amari then huffed in annoyance. How dare she compare him to Oda Nobunaga! "Hump. I'm from Takeda clan in the Land of Kai. Please do not confuse me with him!" He stated.

"So you do know him?" Kagome wondered.

"Yeah! And He's big idiot!" He said while looking at her angrily while mocking Oda Nobunaga, seemingly referring to his plan of letting foreigners culture entering Japan.

True, Oda Nobunaga is labeled as idiot due to his obsession with anything related to Europeans. So mixed in the internal conflicts between Daimyo and Samurai, Sengoku Japan have nothing in mind to accepting foreigners. But Oda, thanks to his open mind, manage to introduce Christianity and turn the turmoil of Sengoku Japan into peace of the Tokugawa Shogunate that will be accomplished by Tokugawa Ieyasu.

"So you weren't Oda Nobunaga then you should've said so!" Kagome countered, making Amari shrieks comically in fear. "And here I thought you're living history." She said in disappointment.

"Uhum." Amari cleared his throat. "I've trust you'll excuse me, an important mission demands my immediate attention!" He informed. "Farewell." He then walk away from Kagome. Hiyoshimaru later jumping from Hinami's lap to Amari's right shoulder.

Inuyasha then realized where he's walking to. "Um, I won't go there if I were-" His warning is too late, because Nobunaga is absent-mindedly falling off the shallow cliff, only for Hinami managed to catch him in time using her Rinkaku. Hiyoshimaru meanwhile manage to jump from Amari before he's falling to the shallow cliff.

"That was close." Hinami stated as she stand up. Her Kakugan is inactive to avoid suspicion.

"You sure just let him fall." Inuyasha said to her.

"That's mean Inuyasha-san." Hinami replied.

Amari meanwhile a little stunned seeing Hinami's Kagune emerge from her hips. 'What's with this girl!? Is she a Yokai?'

The scene later skips to a village that's not far away from the site. A general with some guards from the Daimyo's castle is seen gathering the young woman mostly around thirteen to seventeen years old. Tied together in a knot, they later is bring to the castle. The entire young women have a sad expression on their face, seemingly accepting the fate that's going to fall to them.

"Haven't they had enough taken young women away from our villages already?" One of the eldery villagers asked the other.

"Of all the girls summoned to the castle, not had one has yet to return." The other villagers said.

From the bushes, Amari is following the parade of the young woman, this is seemingly the mission that he's talking about before: To spy the Daimyo's reason for taking so much young woman from the village that's under his or her rule. "Aha! I knew it. So the rumors I've heard were true after all…" He uttered to himself.

"Where they're taking those girls exactly?" Amari widen his eyes and turn behind to see Hinami, Kagome, and Inuyasha is following him to stalk the incident.

"E-eh!? Why'd all of you following me!?" Amari said while tried to keep his voice down.

"So… Why was that you, me and Hinami had to follow this guy again?" Inuyasha asked Kagome.

"Because he needs us and we can't leave him alone!" Kagome replied.

"What about us! We still had our own mission!" Inuyasha said in high tone, referring to the search for the Shikon Jewel Shard.

"Um… Amari-san, what did those men going to do to those women? All of them seem sad." Hinami asked Amari, clearly not liking the incident at all. Since she's being joined Aogiri Tree, she had open-minded view about the world and she concludes one thing about the conflict.

Human can be more monstrous than Ghoul who called monster just because they can only eat humans. It's because that each of them had narrow perspective about the world that the conflicts never ended.

"Well… I heard there's a rumor about the Daimyo of this area is being possessed by Yokai and-"

"Wait a minute!? Yokai!" This picks Inuyasha's interest, cut off Amari's sentence. This Yokai must be had Shikon Jewel Shards.

"That means probably there's Shikon Jewel Shards nearby!" Kagome noted.

"And then?" Hinami continued asking Amari.

"Well… That's just the rumor. But… I can't help but feel worried." He then stands up firmly. "Because the castle that's rumor to be that Yokai's nest, is the place where my old friend is currently stayed, waiting for their engagement with the current ruling Daimyo… I at least will save her." He stated with determination.

Meanwhile on the castle that is the base of the villagers and Inuyasha's group worries, two person is seen enjoying themselves on the castle open room that faced the beautiful garden pool inside the castle.

The first is a slender, young beautiful girl with long straight black hair which was tied in a loose ponytail and big brown eyes. She is barefoot and wears a colorful kimono that reaches all the way down to the floor. She's seen pouring the sake on the cup that is mean for the other person.

The second is a hulk, fat figure that being covered entirely in bandage. He's wearing black kimono with patterns and also Daimyo's hat.

"Ahahahaha!" The huge figure that seemingly the Daimyo of this land laughed in glee. "Like you well life my princess?" He asked the one that's revealed to be his wife.

"Yes My Lord. I've like for nothing." The princess replied with a smile, although from her tone she seemingly sad about something.

"That's alright then." The Daimyo replied as he sip a gulp of drink from the Sake Cup.

The princess is in silent for a moment, seemingly gathering courage to ask something. She then look toward her husband. "If I may My Lord." She said, asking permission to ask something.

"Yes princess?" The Daimyo respond as he lifts the Sake Cup using his left hand to the air.

"The young women My Lord. The one that your highness so generously summoned here to the castle. May I ask…? Where they are?" She asked curiously. Since months ago, her husband continuously invites young women from various villages under his rule. She always seen them in the front gate, but never saw them again after one night. She at first thought that her husband will make them work as his maid or something.

The Daimyo however, seemingly not pleased by the question. Dropping his Sake Cup to the ground, He later bring his left palm to the ground, destroying the cup and making the princess back away in fear. He later lift both of his arm wide, expressing his anger that's hidden by the bandage. "YOU MAY NOT!" He yelled while smacking the tatami floor using both of his hands. He then immediately stands up before the princess, making her bow in fear for dare to asking something so sensitive.

"F-Forgive me…" She apologized in fear. "I-I had no right to ask."

The Daimyo huffed, seemingly pleased by her answer before humming by himself and walking toward the other room, leaving the princess by herself.

The princess hand is shaking in fear, seeing the attitude of her husband. Her mouth is trembling on saying one sentence that she never expected come out from her lips. "… Oh how I want return to Kai…" She uttered. 'Please someone… Save me from here…'

The time later skip at night where Amari, Hinami, Inuyasha, and Kagome are taking the route to enter from behind the castle that is separated by a huge cliff.

"So that's the place." Amari noted.

Inuyasha later smirk. "I smell that Yokai stench even from here. This is a powerful one alright." He said. "There's a piece of Shikon Jewel Shards here alright?"

"Not only that." Hinami said while using her superhuman hearing to hear the inside of the castle. "There's one huge footsteps of someone that's fat. The sleeping sound of other resident, and I hear some life forms wriggling inside something like amphibian's egg sac." Hinami explaining what she heard.

"I must admit that ears of yours are sharp." Inuyasha admitted before squat to carrying Kagome on his back. "We've better gonna have a closer look. Jump on Kagome!" He ordered. Kagome later jump to his back.

Hinami later look at Amari. "Amari-san, I'll carry you." She said. "I promised I'll help you rescuing your friend."

Amari later raised his hand. "Well… But why'd I must-"

"You just shut up and let her take you!" Inuyasha said.

Hinami later unleashing her Rinkaku, which softly constrict Amari despite the sharp point on it.

"You ready Hinami?" Inuyasha asked while ready to jump.

Hinami nod while releasing another Rinkaku that stick on the castle wooden wall, using it as a medium to jump while another one carrying Amari and Hiyoshimaru. Inuyasha meanwhile jump up using his superhuman abilities, landing safely on the castle field. Hinami later follow after putting Amari and Hiyoshimaru down then dispersing her Kagune.

"Wow… I've never expected this. But Yokai work together with humans…" Amari said in awe toward Hinami's ability.

"Yeah. We just a bunch that can understand each other. Let's move out!" Inuyasha said as the four of them running toward the castle, that seemingly empty despite what Hinami said before via her hearing. Both of them however stopped when they saw a guard is sitting close to a fire camp, leaning his body to a tree while asleep. The same is happen to the other guard, who's sleeping in some places, like ladder and even the ground.

"Well so much for castle security. Is this what you heard before Hinami?" Kagome asked.

Hinami nod. "There's more that's asleep on the inside." She said.

"This is not normal." Myoga then jump from Inuyasha's hair to his shoulder. "Don't be fooled. Their sleep is hypnotic not natural."

"Now I see. This Yokai tried to hide among humans so he active at night. A same tactics like our Ghoul used to blend with society." Hinami noted after Myoga's explanation.

"Ghoul? What's that?" Amari asked in confusion. "Is that also some kind of Yokai? You're a Yokai then…"

"You can say it like that Amari-san." Hinami quickly replied. Thanks to Myoga's explanation that not many humans know about Ghouls and usually refers to them as Yokai, she could make a quick answer to that. "We've better go to the inside. The sound of that huge footstep still in there."

The four of them later entering the castle. Amari later shouted. "Princess! Princess Tsuyu! Where are you? It is I Nobunaga came to save you!" He yelled while opening each room he passed, only to found many guards that is asleep.

Hinami later sniff the air, before informing Amari. "I smell many women on the room that few meters from here. Maybe the princess is inside." She informed before walking toward the room.

"What-Wait!" Amari later chase after Hinami, going to the direction of the room.

"However… Are you sure we shall let him make so much noise like that? The Yokai could be everywhere." She wondered.

"No need to worry. That ugly thing still far away from here." Inuyasha assured. "Besides, if we disturbing his turf, he or she will come here sooner or later, then we can quickly get the Shikon Jewel Shards!"

Hinami and Amari later facing a huge door. Despite she can hear that the mysterious footsteps is still far away, she still needs to be wary because there's a possibility of a Yokai that can escaping her hearing and smell. "Amari-san stay back." Hinami advised as she releasing her Koukaku, destroying the door. She then take a careful step to the inside before looking around the room. 'There's no Yokai smell in here.' She then look at the figure that sleeping using the fabric. 'This-'

"Princess Tsuyu!" Amari later run passing Hinami when he see a woman that lie asleep on the floor. He then lifts her up. "Princess! Be brave!" He said but shocked to find out that he's holding an old woman. "Oh! What's happen!?"

"Um… Amari-san, I think that's Tsuyu-hime caretaker." Hinami said while pointing to the real Tsuyu, who's sleeping. "Is this her?"

"Wow. She's pretty." Kagome complement Tsuyu's beautiful face. She and Inuyasha are entering the room a moment ago. The Hanyo however just look with disinterest at the entire scene.

Amari later look toward the real princess, shriek for his own absent-minded personality.

Myoga suddenly appears from Kagome's shoulder. "Did you say princess? I know a good way to wake her up." He then jumps to Tsuyu's exposed cheek and sucking her blood. Feeling something stingy, the princess is awake from her hypnotic-induced sleep and smacked Myoga before opening her eyes.

"Princess…" Amari said in relief.

Tsuyu later sit up, and not believing that it was her childhood friend that comes here. "Nobunaga… Why are you here?" She asked in confusion. The last time she saw him is when she being escorted to this castle of the Land of Musashi to married the Daimyo.

Amari later lean close to Tsuyu. "Tsuyu-hime, are you remember me?" He asked, since he thought that she'll forget him.

Tsuyu later smiled. "Of course I do. I've never forget. You and I are friends since children, and you're always so very kind." She replied in nostalgia remembering their childhood days.

Amari is blush for a moment while playing his fingers. Hiyoshimaru that sit on his left shoulder also do the same. "Uh… I-I don't know what to say… I-I just thought you wouldn't remember a lowly vassal like me…" He said in embarrassment.

'Now I see. Amari-san is in love with Tsuyu-hime. But his rank is low in nobility so he can't express it.' Hinami thought after watching Amari's behavior when around Tsuyu. Still, Tsuyu is such a kind soul. She can't perceive any kind of negative feelings on her eyes.

There is only gentleness and kindness on her, like the main princess of the Fairy Tales that she used to read such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. Amari is such a lucky man to fall in love with such kind person like Tsuyu.

"I remember everything. How you slip and fall in the pond. How men laugh when you're fall into horse dung." She said everything she remember which unfortunately the representation of Amari's absent-mindedness.

Amari had a comical sweat-drop hearing what Tsuyu remember about him. He feeling more embarrassed about that.

'Well. Truly a fool.' Inuyasha thought. He's now sitting while leaning his body on the wooden wall. Kagome is sit beside him while Hinami is sitting close to Tsuyu.

"Hey Inuyasha. You don't suppose he's in love with the princess do you?" She whispering to Inuyasha.

"Hump. Pathetic." Inuyasha replied in gruff tone.

Tsuyu's demeanor later turn into fear instead of cheerful personalities. "If only… I could go home…" She said while tried her best to hold tears.

"Tsuyu-hime." Tsuyu later look toward Hinami and the others. "Forgive me to interrupt but did you realize there's a Yokai inside this castle?" She asked.

"You must be Nobunaga's friends…" Tsuyu noted while wiping some specks of tears from her eyes. "Thanks for making me met my childhood friend again. But sorry, I never saw a Yokai ever since I live in this castle." She shook her head. "But, there's a strange accident that happened to our lord. It was not long after I came here as his bride that My Lord was began to act strangely. He'd fallen into the garden pond and ran a terrible fever. It was as though he become different person." She explains before look to Amari. "Nobunaga. Whatever shall I do?" She asked, confused and fears.

"There seems no choice. You've must return to Kai. Even your father so far from here, has heard of the lord's derangements. Indeed, it was his wish that I've come and take you return to him." Amari replied. "If you want princess, I can tell your father to bring an army if I can't save you this time."

"No! Nobunaga don't do that!" Tsuyu disagreed. "I… Don't want that the peace that already maintain between the Land of Kai and Land of Musashi being shattered… I just… I just want to be on his side even everyone said he was deranged, because I love him."

Amari is stunned hearing it. Tsuyu is already in love with the Daimyo? 'I see.' He thought in sadness because his first love is withering away.

"Nobunaga…" Tsuyu realized that Amari is sad because of something. "I'm sorry. But… You must be understood how much I love the lord."

"But still-"

Hinami suddenly widen her eyes. "Someone's coming!" She warned while stands up. "Amari-san, protect Tsuyu-hime."

"No need to tell me Hinami! I'll protect her even if I dead!" Amari assured her while sit protectively in front of Tsuyu, who's confused by the statement.

"Heh. So at last it comes to us instead huh?" Inuyasha said while stands up cracking his claws. "You coming Hinami?" He asked.

Hinami nod before following Inuyasha to the outside of the room. "Kagome-san, please accompany Amari-san and Tsuyu-hime in here."

"Allright. Leave it to me!" Kagome agreed. "Take care and don't exert yourself again okay?"

Hinami just smiled, before walk to the outside following Inuyasha. When both of them on the outside of the room, the Daimyo already appear on the scene.

"I thought I've heard something!" The Daimyo noted.

"Yeah! And it took you long enough! Let's go!" Inuyasha later dash toward the Daimyo. The Daimyo suddenly shooting something like sharp tongue from his mouth, but Inuyasha easily avoid it. Let see your true face! Sankontesso!" Inuyasha then slashed at the bandages that closed his face, revealing that the Daimyo is a Toad Yokai with red pupils and green skin; dark on the top while light on below. Receiving the attack, he falls backward.

"It's a toad! Like Mr. Jaken!" Hinami said in surprise.

"Nah. It's even uglier than Jaken. And besides, it's not a Kappa." Inuyasha said.

Meanwhile, on the open clearing of the forest, Jaken is seen still watch over Sesshomaru. The Daiyokai is seen holding his left arm, which left only the shoulder part. The blood is seen still flowing from it. He's seen sitting while leaning himself on a huge tree that stands there.

Jaken suddenly sneezed. "Ugh." He grunted while wiping his nose. 'It just my feelings or did someone is talking about me?'

Back to the castle, Kagome peek her head a little from the room. She's also shocked by the revelation, but she must pinpoint the location of the Shikon Jewel Shards. "Inuyasha! Hinami-chan! The jewel shards in on his right shoulder!" Kagome said to him.

Inuyasha smirked hearing it. "Yeah! One attack is enough to kill this toad." He said arrogantly.

"Not so fast Lord Inuyasha!" Myoga warned him. He's perching on Inuyasha's shoulder. "This Toad is called Tsukumo no Gama. He's more powerful than any usual Toad Yokai you've encountered so far."

"Huh! He's not so tough to me!" Inuyasha later jump toward the Tsukumo no Gama, preparing to finish him off.

Suddenly, Tsukumo no Gama's cheek is puffed, then he shooting purple mist-like fumes from his mouth at point-blank range toward Inuyasha. Taking a direct hit, Inuyasha managed to control his fall, but he gripping his neck in pain.

"Ugh…" Inuyasha grunted in pain.

Seeing what's happen to Inuyasha, Hinami prefers to use her Koukaku to blocking the fumes by bring it in front of her, but due to its gas nature, it slips through the blind spot of her Koukaku, making her also feeling the toxicity of the fumes. 'Ugh… This mist… is a paralyzing poison!' She thought while tried her best to stand up.

"Hinami-chan!" Kagome tried to rush at her, but Myoga then jump toward her.

"Kagome don't! That's Toxic Fumes! It was designed to paralyze someone for short amount of time!" He warned.

"But I can't just stand here seeing Inuyasha and Hinami-chan is struggling!" Kagome said.

Meanwhile, the Tsukumo no Gama later approaches Hinami. "A ha ha ha! I've never expected that I've come across a Ghoul." He said in delight while approaching Hinami.

"Ugh… Damn it! The paralyzing effect still remains!" Inuyasha grunted tried to fight of the Toxic Fumes. "Hinami!"

"I've never stand a chance against stronger Yokai, but you." Tsukumo no Gama said as he ripped off Hinami's Koukaku using his bare hand, finding that the young Ghoul is tried her best to fight off the Toxic Fumes. "If I devour one even if that's low-class like you, I can become strong enough to challenge other Yokai for their Shikon Jewel Shard!"

'W-What….' Hinami is shocked hearing what Tsukumo no Gama's intention. Her thought is paused as the Toad Yokai is knocking the wind out of her by punching her gut, making her limp to the ground.

'Hinami-chan!' Kagome thought in worry, but she can't move as well because of the Toxic Fumes.

Tsukumo no Gama later carrying Hinami's body on his right shoulders. "A ha ha ha! A Ghoul and now the princess! I had enough of this disguise! For I shall become the strongest Yokai on this land." He declared as he walks passing Inuyasha and Kagome toward Tsuyu's chamber.

Inside the chamber, Amari is unsheathing his katana and stand protectively in front of Tsuyu after seeing Tsukumo no Gama is entering the chamber. "It's a Yokai! And he's got Hinami." Amari noted. "What happens to Inuyasha and Kagome!?"

Tsuyu immediately recognized the Toad Yokai. "M-My Lord…" She said as she falls unconscious due to shock.

"Princess!" Amari yelled in worry.

"Now pass and let me take my princess." Tsukumo no Gama demanded as he walks closer toward Tsuyu.

"Stay back monster! I'll never give her to you!" Amari said.

"Very funny! As you thought you can stop me human scum!" Tsukumo no Gama then shooting his sharp tongue at Amari, piercing his right shoulder and hit him to the wooden wall, making him screams in pain. He then using the chance to grab Tsuyu's body and then dash toward the wall outside the chamber.

Kagome, that starting to get unaffected of the Toxic Fumes seeing the scene. "Hinami-chan! Princess!" She then aiming an arrow toward the Toad Yokai, who broke through the castle wall and running in the roof. Seeing the chance, she shoots the arrow, but misses as Tsukumo no Gama is running down the castle roof to his hideout inside the castle, carrying his prize. "He got away!" Kagome noted while clenching her bow.

"Princess!" Amari yelled while he limply walk and gripping his injured right shoulder to hold the blood.

"Nobunaga!" Kagome come at him after seeing his condition. "You're badly wounded! I'll take care of it!" She noted while tried to get her first aid kit inside her backpack.

"Don't worry about me! Please, you've got to save the princess!" Amari said, assuring he's fine even with such injuries.

Kagome widen her eyes, seeing how devoted Amari's love for Tsuyu. She then smiled. "I knew it. Despite she already become a bride for Daimyo of this region, you still in love with her don't you? Because she's so kind."

Amari is stunned hearing it. He then narrowed his eyes. "H-How could you tell?" He demanded.

Kagome later making a face-fault. "Um… You mean it was a secret?" She asked.

Inuyasha meanwhile is already recovered from the Toxic Fumes. He looks to the direction of Tsukumo no Gama's escape route, trying to track his scent. "That disgusting toad! He won't get away that easily!" He then chasing him through the roof. "I'm going ahead!" He said to Kagome. "Come back here coward!"

Meanwhile, on the room that's revealed to be the secret room of Tsukumo no Gama, numerous bubbles that looks like a collection of frog eggs is seen being stick to the wall using some mucus membrane. Inside the bubbles, young woman is seen unconscious with no clothes on their bodies. This is where Tsukumo no Gama hiding the young women he's gather from the village. Using his Bubble Egg Sacs, he encased the women in it, and then waits until their souls are able to be consumed.

"Heh heh heh." Tsukumo no Gama laughed while putting both Tsuyu and Hinami on the floor. "Now the time's finally come."

Among the two, Tsuyu is the first to regain consciousness. She then sit and was afraid to seeing her surroundings. 'This place… What is happen to all of these young women? Is this the young womens that's missing?' She thought in fear while realizing that this must be the location

Tsukumo no Gama is realizing this. He then smiles wickedly at her. "So you awake first princess?" He asked.

Seeing him, Tsuyu is back away in fear. "M-My Lord…" She uttered tried to say a word, but it can't come out due to her fear.

"Don't be afraid my princess, I can assure you that we'll be toget-UAGH!" Tsukumo no Gama unable to finish his words as a spine-like tentacle is hitting him, throwing him into the wall.

Tsuyu can't believe what she saw. She then looks at Hinami and seeing that the spine is grows from her hips. The young Ghoul later stand up to facing her adversaries.

'This girl… Is she a Yokai as well?' Tsuyu wondered while still in fear because she's surrounded by the strange surroundings and two non-human beings facing against each other.

"No need to afraid me Ms. Tsuyu. I know I maybe a Yokai." Hinami assured before look at her with a smile. "But I already promise Mr. Amari to protect you if he can't help you."

Tsuyu at first afraid, before slowly nod. "If Nobunaga trusts you, then I'll try my best to trust you too." She said.

"Gggh…." Tsukumo no Gama grunted while getting up from his crash to the wall. "You're already awake! I've being deceived!"

"I just now awake. I won't let you get close to Tsuyu-hime!" Hinami declared while unleashing her Koukaku as well. 'Judging from what I've experienced before. The one thing I should be careful about is his Toxic Fumes and his sharp tongue. His poison maybe strong but that's all! His physical abilities are nothing compare to Sesshomaru-san.' He analyzed. Since he knows that Tsukumo no Gama is a mid-range fighter, what'd she do is unleashing both of her Chimera Kagune, the wing is for the defense against his tongue while the spine is use to keep him at bay. Now what Hinami must do is preventing him from unleashing his Toxic Fumes.

"Hoo! I see that you're tried to fight me. Very funny!" Tsukumo no Gama later constricts his own tongue around his left arm, making the tip become stiff and looks like katana. "I've lived for over 300 years. Wrong if you think you can match me, Ghoul! Now I shall teach you enough to know your place before I eat your soul!" He said as he running toward Hinami.

'He's doing the same tactic as Ayato!' Hinami thought. Since the younger brother of the Kirishima siblings is the one that mostly train her, she knows well how Ayato like to wrapping his Ukaku Kagune across his arm to form a blade for close-range combat. It was an effective tactics but she sometimes best him due to his low stamina.

Since she already seeing how Tsukumo no Gama battle tactics when he incapacitates her, she assumed that the Toad Yokai is the type of heavy brawler that utilizing heavy attacks or subdue his opponents with Toxic Fumes. However, since he now wrapping his tongue around his left arm, there's no way the Toxic Fumes attack is working. In other words, his fatal weakness is his weight. 'I can do this!' She thought as she rapidly swing her Rinkaku Kagune in rapid succession.

Tsukumo no Gama who seeing this, forced to protect his face from the assault, while his clothes had some rip on it because of the attack. "Guahh!" He grunted in anger as the attack is pushing him back. 'This Ghoul… She's pushing me back!' He then swing left arm, stopping the assault of the Rinkaku before running toward her once again. Jump forward, he swing his left arm toward Hinami with battle cry, only for her to block it using her Koukaku. 'What the!?'

'My chance!' Hinami swings her Koukaku at fast speed, making the Toad Yokai being thrown back because of the momentum and crash heavily to the wall.

Tsuyu who can only watch because of her mortality can only wonder about one thing. "You… You didn't kill him…" She said stuttered by the young Ghoul that able to outclass a Yokai with ease.

"I don't want to." Hinami replied while glanced at her with a smile. "I know in this time of war, killing is necessary to survive. But, I just don't like to kill others." She said.

"… Even if yourself a Ghoul or something like he said?" Tsuyu asked.

Hinami nod. "Because my parents use to say that no matter what reason you do it, killing is considered evil." She said, remembering the words that Yoshimura used to say in Anteiku. "I know it sounds naïve, but I can't bring myself to take the life of the others."

"You…" Tsuyu can't say any words from her mouth. Never in her life she met a Yokai that's reluctant or don't like to take the life of others. Her parents back at home always said that Yokai is feral beast that's territorial with each other, yet here stood one Yokai that is the opposite of what her parents tell her. "I've never met Yokai like you before… But thanks for not killing him." She thanked. "Because… I believe that deep inside, My Lord's heart is still remaining inside that Yokai."

"You're such a kind person aren't you Tsuyu-hime?" Hinami said with a smile. Even after seeing the horrid acts of her possessed husband has done, she still treats him as an individual. "I can't help but feel that Amari-san is lucky to fall in love with you."

Hearing it making the young princess immediately blush. "N-Nobunaga is in love in me?" She asked. "B-but… Since when he…"

"I'm not surprised you're not realizing it Tsuyu-hime. The reason is the words he said before." Hinami replied.

Tsuyu then widen her eyes, like she's seeing something. She then rush toward Hinami and immediately hug and turn her, making her receiving the attacks of the Tsukumo no Gama instead. It slashes her back, making some blood of her sprays.

Hinami widen her eyes seeing the scene. "Tsuyu-hime!"

Tsukumo no Gama is revealed to be the culprit, using his tongue to attack. His Daimyo outfit is moderately damaged due to have some rip on it and one of his eyes is heavily injured. His body is also had some bruise in it. "H-How dare you…" He uttered in anger.

Tsuyu's body later become limp and will collapse to the ground if Hinami didn't catch her. "Tsuyu-hime!" She gently shakes her body to wake her up. She then tried to touch the wound. 'The wound is shallow, but she needs medical treatment immediately or it'll become infected!' She thought.

"SOUL! I NEED SOUL!" Tsukumo no Gama suddenly yelled. Few seconds later, some of the young women's inside the egg sac suddenly break-through the egg with their lower bodies turn into like tadpoles. They later are being drawn to the Toad Yokai's open mouth, literally being consumed by him. At the same time, his wounds are completely gone. "Ha ha ha!" He laughed.

'I see. So this is the reason he capture all of these of young women. He somehow can capture them in this Egg Sac Prisons and then use their soul to strengthen him or healing his injuries. And his eyes, is only filled with greed and cowardice for survive. He's more evil than Mr. Sesshomaru or his henchmen!' Hinami thought. 'I can't move too much. If I do, Ms. Tsuyu will be weaker from blood loss. Then, the only thing I can do is-'

"Ha ha ha! Now what can you do Ghoul? There's no way you can win against me. Hurting me is only making me stronger!" Tsukumo no Gama declared it cockily.

"In fact I must thank you Tsukumo no Gama-san." Hinami then swings her Rinkaku wildly but precise toward the collections of the egg sacs behind her, freeing the young women that is inside and make them fall to the floor. "But blabbering about your strength is what makes you lose."

"M-My precious souls!" Tsukumo no Gama said angrily as his long-time collections is being shattered by just lowly being.

"Now just surrender and give your Shikon Jewel Shards to me! Then I can promise you won't be chased by Mr. Inuyasha and the others." Hinami said. 'Please! I don't want to kill another living beings!'

Tsukumo no Gama however is laughing hard. "A Ha Ha Ha Ha! Surrender? Me? The Tsukumo no Gama?" He said as some parts of his body is morphed. From his back, a long tadpole tail is emerged from his back. His mouth also growing sharp, crocodile-like teeth. "To think that I must use this Battle Form that I actually avoid to utilize. I compliment you for pushing me this far. However, I won't surrender!" He then leap and swing his tadpole tail toward Hinami, who block it with her Rinkaku before jumping backward and carrying Tsuyu's body bridal style.

'Ugh. His strength is increased than before. He also becomes faster!' Hinami thought before looking toward Tsuyu. "Sorry Tsuyu-hime, but I must battle him."

"Where'd you think you going?" Tsukumo no Gama later shooting streams of Toxic Fumes to Hinami, who avoid it using her Rinkaku to stab to the wooden wall and throw herself to it. She then land safely to the ground and seeing the effect of his Toxic Fumes now is melting the wooden roof of his hideout.

'He's getting stronger!' Hinami thought in surprise of his sudden increase in strength. She then is in dilemma. Must she kill this Yokai and breaking his pacifist personality so that Tsuyu can be saved. Or-

"…No…"

Hinami later look toward Tsuyu, who's finally awake. "Tsuyu-hime! Don't talk too much!" Hinami warned her.

"Please… Don't kill him…" She said weakly as she falls into unconsciousness once more.

"Tsuyu-hime…" Hinami uttered while she gently put her down on the floor before looking at her adversary with serious look. "Don't worry. I won't kill him I promise."

"Won't kill me? That's rich!" Tsukumo no Gama later shooting his tadpole tail toward Hinami, who prepared to counter with her Rinkaku.

Suddenly, Inuyasha break through the roof of the hideout. "Hinami!"

Hinami later smiled in relief. "Inuyasha-san…"

"Die!" Inuyasha then cut Tsukumo no Gama's tail using his Tessaiga.

"H-How dare you!" He yelled in anger.

Kagome suddenly appears with Amari a few meters behind him. On her hands she carried a small fire and a perfume to creating a combustion effect. "Take this!" She said as a huge fire is striking the Toad Yokai head-on.

"AUUUUUHHHH!" Tsukumo no Gama is screaming in pain as he feels the hot of the flame. Not long after, his body is glowing and leaving his clothes behind. He then flying away passing Inuyasha, now looks like a soul of a frog.

"I won't let you got away!" Amari declared as he rush toward him with his katana ready to strike.

However, Inuyasha is quicker to act, he quickly close the distance and swing his Tessaiga. "Die! Stinky Toad!" He declared as he completely cut him in half, making his body exploded and the Shikon Jewel Shard is falling to the floor. The end for Tsukumo no Gama.

Inuyasha later took the jewel shard.

"We did it! Thank you Inuyasha!" Amari thanked as he walk to him. However, the relief of victory turn to worry as he looks the body of the person he cares the most is lie on the floor without any movements. "Princess Tsuyu!" He yelled as her limps toward her, who's being cared by Hinami. "Princess!"

"I'm sorry Amari-san." Hinami apologized. "But Tsuyu-hime protects me from the Toad Yokai's attack."

Hearing that make Amari stunned. "She's doing the same thing as before didn't she?" Amari said in nostalgia.

He remembers the day when he and Tsuyu used to play around when they're still children. Due to making one horse on the stable angry, Amari is almost being stepped by the horse if not because of Tsuyu took the hit instead. Due to it, Tsuyu's father forbids them to meet each other for three months and Tsuyu must do some healing to her injured back.

Amari later had some tears in his eyes. He then quickly wiped it, since it's an embarrassment for a samurai to cry. "She's always too kind toward others. Since then, she's never changed that behavior to someone she already considers friend…" He said while tried to hold sadness on his tone.

Hinami gasps hearing a bit about Tsuyu. She then looks toward the princess, who's sweating and breathing heavily because of the wound. "Thank you so much… Tsuyu-hime…"

"Hinami-chan!" Kagome later approach her with the first aid kit in hand. "Let me see her wounds!"

Inuyasha just seeing at the entire ordeal. Surely like typical non-human, the event didn't interest him at all.

Hinami later lift Tsuyu's body to let Kagome see the injuries.

Kagome nod after seeing it. "Luckily, it's a shallow wound so my first aid still can treat it. Deeper and the princess maybe won't make it." She noted before opening the princess cloth. "I suggest men don't see this!" She yelled to Inuyasha and Amari.

"Speaking of men." Inuyasha point his finger toward the unconscious men behind him. "What shall we do about this one?" He asked rather rudely.

"T-That must be Princess Tsuyu's husband." Amari inform. "Let's take both of them to the castle for treatment." He advised.

"Alright alright." Inuyasha later lift both Princess Tsuyu's husband and Amari. "Kagome! I'll wait at the palace!" He said as he run toward the castle.

Kagome smiled seeing it. "So you actually cared other than jewel shards do you Inuyasha?" She said to herself as she later bandaging the wound. "There. It's done but she mustn't move very much or the wound will reopened. I'm sorry Hinami-chan, but can you carry her?" She asked.

"Okay Kagome-san." Hinami later carrying Tsuyu on her back. They later go back to the palace.

"I must say that I can't thank the four of you enough for what you did. Thank you for getting rid of the Yokai that hides in this castle." Tsuyu's husband, who's revealed to be the Daimyo of Musashi, is bow in gratitude to Amari, Kagome, and Inuyasha. All of them now in the main hall of the castle.

It was already morning since the demise of Tsukumo no Gama. Now every words is pass to all the castles inhabitants that their lord is being possessed by Daimyo and helped by four strangers although they're wary at first because of their way of entering the castle.

The Daimyo then look toward Amari. "I presume your vassal from Kai right?" He asked kindly.

"Amari Nobunaga at your service." Amari introduced himself while keep his formality.

"Please say my apologies for making Princess Tsuyu's father so worried. I know that although what I've done is because I've being possessed by that Yokai… Every soul that he absorbed can't return back. Meaning that also my sin as well." The Daimyo said while clench his fists. "I at least make amends by giving half of the castle supports to the villages that's being rid of young women. If you ever cross a village or two, can I ask you to inform my apology to them?"

"No need to worry. We know that it was not your intention to harm those innocent women." Kagome assured him.

"Once again thank you so much." The Daimyo thanked. "Speaking about the one that saving this castle, where's the other girl?"

"Oh? Hinami-chan you mean?" Kagome asked her. "She's accompanying Tsuyu-hime again this morning. Apparently she's still not awaken."

Inside of Tsuyu's personal chamber, Hinami is seen sleeping on sitting position, leaning her body on the wall. Tsuyu meanwhile is seen sleeping on her bed. Thanks to Kagome's first treatment, her injuries are not infected and she's safe, although there still no sign of she will awaken.

Groaning slightly, Tsuyu then slowly open her eyes before sitting up. She then wonders where she is. "This is… My room…" She realized before look at her right side seeing Hinami is still asleep.

Not long after, Hinami yawned before opening her eyes. Her first sight is greeted with Tsuyu look at her with a smile. "Tsuyu-hime…" She immediately hugs her. "I'm glad! I thought that you won't awake!" She said in relief.

Tsuyu instead of shock is returning the hug. "It was I that should be glad. So did the matters is been done?" She asked.

Hinami later release the hug. "No need to worry Tsuyu-hime. Your husband is safe." She inform her.

Hearing it bring relief to the young princesses. She had some tears on her eyes. "I'm glad. It can be done without any killing…" She said in relief as she wiping her tears away. "And please just call me Tsuyu. I actually don't like being called by honorifics."

Hinami nod. "Tsu-no. Tsuyu." She said with a smile on her face.

"Speaking of name, I've never know your name. But I heard that other young girl called you Hinami-chan… It's so impolite of me. Being saved by someone, yet I never asked their name." Tsuyu said.

"It's okay T-Tsuyu. True, my name is Hinami. Hinami Fueguchi." She introduced herself. "Thank you so much for saving me back then. If you won't make it back then, I don't know what I must say to Amari-san and your husband…"

Tsuyu shook her head. "No need to feel at fault for me. It was all my actions to begin with. I don't regret saving my friend even if I die because of it." She said.

"You… Really thought of me as your friend?" Hinami asked, now truly surprise since what Amari said during night is true. "But, I'm Yokai and you're human. Such thing is impossible." Hinami tried to avoid the words while actually she feels very happy because here there's another human bluntly declared her as her friend besides Kagome. She can't help but see the resemblance to Kimi, who's dating Nishiki despite she knows Nishiki is a Ghoul.

"Of course I do. The fact that you also have Inuyokai in your groups mean that actually Yokai and human can understand each other if they put aside their pride and fear right? Is that strange to you?" Tsuyu asked her. "I don't care about the walls of races. What important is we can understand each other."

"I'm different from other Yokai Tsuyu." Hinami said as she revealed her Kakugan, making Tsuyu gasp.

"Your eyes… They changed color…"

"In here, I'm the type of Yokai known as Ghoul. As you can see, we look like human, except we must eat human and nothing else to survive. Can you befriend someone that eat human like me and possibly Tsukumo no Gama if he becomes good person?" Hinami asked Tsuyu bluntly, although she can surprisingly eat human foods in here, there's limited knowledge of Yokai among humans in here. She deduced that there's no way Tsuyu is knowing about this.

Tsuyu silent for a moment, gathering courage to answer before she finally speaks. "Even so, that still not changed the fact that you saved me that time Hinami and I just do what friends do. I don't care about your origins or what type of foods you can eat. To me, you're already my friend and I mean it." She replied.

Hinami can't find any lies on her words. She's honest like the first time she saw her. 'You're so naïve Tsuyu-hime. Maybe that's because you never saw evil Ghoul or more evil Yokai than Tsukumo no Gama. But… I think that's the thing that must be protected no matter what. Maybe Onii-chan or Takatsuki-san thinks you're naïve, but I think… That if someone like you exists in my world, maybe the bloodshed wasn't need at all. Maybe we can talk with each other without need to continuing the endless cycle of hatred.' "Thank you…" Hinami lower her head while had tears on her eyes. "Thank you so much… Tsuyu."

Tsuyu understand why Hinami's doing that. She understands that she's lucky born as a human. Meaning that she's not feeling kinds of bullying and discrimination of non-human. "No need to cry. Thank you as well for saving me Hinami." She thanked. "If we ever meet again, please tell me more about you okay? In return, I also tell you more about me."

Tsuyu's room then being opened. "Princess Tsuyu!" Amari yelled in worry only to see Tsuyu is already awake and seemingly had a conversation with Hinami. "Princess Tsuyu your awake!"

"Nobunaga…" Tsuyu recognize his presence before her demeanor turn serious. "Since you're here I have something to ask. Is that okay with you?"

"Uh…" Amari seemingly realized what Tsuyu is talking about. "A-A-About what?"

"Nobunaga. Answer me honestly and without any lies. Do you ever have any feelings for me?" She asked bluntly.

"W-Well…" Amari stuttered to answer before he finally said it. "Y-Yes Princess. I-I-I loved you ever since I was a little boy. Your kindness and other things make me perhaps…" He said shyly. "But… I remind myself that there's no way a lowly vassal like me can-"

"I also love you Nobunaga." Tsuyu suddenly said, making Amari falls comically to the ground.

"E-E-E-EHHHHH!?" Amari yelled in shock.

"I also can't tell it like you because if I do, you will be severely punished by my parents for dare to fall in love with the princess. But, know this Nobunaga." Tsuyu then touch her chest. "No matter what, You'll be always my first love before the lord."

"Hinami-chan." Kagome then appears with Inuyasha and Myoga, who's perch on his shoulders. "Let's go back to the village. We'll escort Nobunaga first to the closest village."

Hinami is silent for a moment, before shook her head. "I want to stay with Tsuyu for a while Kagome-san. Is that okay?" She asked.

"Hinami-chan…"

"Let her Kagome." Inuyasha said before looking at her with a smile. "Besides, someone who can hold her own against Tsukumo no Gama isn't weak. She can come back safely."

"Inuyasha-san…" Hinami never expected that Inuyasha is praised her in the face. "Thank you…"

"I'm sure you'll be alright?" Myoga asked.

"I'm fine Myoga-jiisan don't worry." Hinami assured him. "Say hello to Kaede-baasan for me."

"Okay." Kagome then touch the young Ghoul shoulder. "Take care." She then look at Tsuyu. "We will take our leave Tsuyu-hime. I hope you'll heal soon." She said.

"Thank you for treating my injuries Kagome-san." Tsuyu said before looking at Inuyasha. "And Inuyasha-sama. Thank you for freeing my husband from Tsukumo no Gama's grasp." She thanked.

"No need to thank me because all I want is the jewel shard. Let's go Kagome." Inuyasha dismissed the thanks as he walks away.

"Ow! He's so rude." Kagome said while making a face-fault. "Sorry for his attitude princess. Take care." Kagome said as she following Inuyasha. "Nobunaga let's go."

"All right Kagome." Amari said before smiled at Tsuyu. "Take care Tsuyu." He said before following Kagome and Inuyasha.

"Take care as well… Nobunaga." Tsuyu said as she waved her hand at him. She then look at Hinami. "Don't worry Hinami, I forgive Inuyasha-sama attitude." She said.

"Don't worry Tsuyu. Inuyasha-san may be rude but he's actually kind." Hinami assured.

"Say… Since you're in here for few days, tell me more about you then." Tsuyu look at her with a smile.

"T-This time already?" Hinami asked in surprise. 'Few days since I fall to this Sengoku Jidai, I've got a friend, a princess nonetheless. This is so unexpected for me. Nishiki-san, did you also feel this same way when Kimi-san accept you for what you really is? I maybe don't know but… I'll treasure this friendship dearly!' She determined as she starting to talk to Tsuyu.

Meanwhile, on the rocky cliff that is seen with thunder clouds and lightning, a castle is seen standing on a cliff. Inside the castle, there's some anger going on.

"How much I must tell you huh!?" A young man is roared in anger while punching a woman. He has long black hair which he keeps in a braided ponytail. He has a high forehead on which had three jewels shards on it. He has short bangs, the most prominent of which are two strands of hair that fall on either side of his forehead. His hair is not parted to either side. He has small ears which are pointed, a feature common amongst most Yokai, to which he affixes earrings. He has arched eyebrows, thick eyelashes and large, red eyes. His incisors are quite long, even for a Yokai of his type, and are easily visible when he is speaking. Although relatively thin, He is quite fit and his biceps are not covered by his armor, revealing an impressive muscular form when flexed. His skin is quite tan, contributing to his overall attractive appearance. "You must be only search for corpses are you!? Did I already told you that we Yokai prefer fresh meat no matter it was human or livestock!"

The woman that he's punch was a slender and fairly tall woman with chest-length brown hair that was loosely tied towards the left side of her shoulder, with three flowers ornamenting it and brown eyes. She's wearing a colorful kimono but dirty with dirt. The most recognizable features that she shared the same appearance as Hinami, but look much older.

"Stop!" Suddenly a child is stand between the young man and the women. She looks like a boy and she has an appearance which resembles that of the young man. Her hair is in two ponytails, with a small cow-lick on her right side. She is dressed very similar to the young man. "Stop it Hiten-niichan! Don't hurt Fueguchi-san anymore!" She pleaded.

The young man, now known as Hiten seemingly angered by this before the anger suddenly become lessened. "You're lucky women. If Soten is not the one that asked me, I'll burn you to a crisp. I rather go hunt for more Shikon Jewel Shards rather than being sick in the head staying here." He said as he stormed off the castle. "Protect her at all costs or you know the consequences."

The child, now known as Soten, is quickly looking at Ms. Fueguchi after Hiten is stormed off the house. "Sorry Fueguchi-san. Hiten-niichan is pummeling you again and I can't do nothing except pleading." Soten apologized.

"Don't worry Soten. I'm fine." Ms. Fueguchi assured.

The clash with this Hiten seemingly will be one of the hardest clashes since battle against Sesshomaru for the Tessaiga. The clash will be happen not long anymore, with both sides seemingly don't realized the battle that's about to happen. A battle to fighting for the most many Shikon Jewel Shards that gathers in one place so far.
