Chapter nine Good Samaritan
Getting some time alone Jesus walked along the shoreline near the sea of galilee. Vesta and Eiljah watching him while. Andrew came were distraught and sad about what had happened to John the Baptist and he tell him sad new.
''Master...Master, we've heard from jerusalem...John.'' Andrew broke the news sadly to Jesus whom turned to look at him sadly and crushed at the news. ''Herod was killed John!''
he withdrew to hill not too far but not before telling Andrew to watch Vesta and Eiljah while he mourned for John Vesta was sobbing and Eiljah hugged him
''Father..." Jesus lay down, head in his hands sobbing openly praying for it not to be true his mind flashed back to when he had last seen John at the jordan river before he had went into the desert never again would he embrace him he raised his head to the sky.
''Father!'' he knew that his time on this earth was almost done and the pain he would endure would be much worse then John's. but he was to be lay down again and shuddered.
Meanwhile Eneas and Niko was hiding and peaking in King Herod's throne
Herod Antipas holding twirled a necklace of amber and gold in his fingers and crushed the beads into ball. Ben Azra looked at the king with a disturbing mocking gravity. Herod hated people to stare at him in that relentless way he flinched and looked upwards

''We've been waiting for you to come and tell us who will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven" Bartholomew asked

He went over and lifted a small giggling toddler she reached for his nose and his beard

''Suddenly robbers appeared!'' Jesus narrated ''They attacked him, they threw him to the ground they ripped his clothes stole his money they left him for dead.''
Eiljah watched horrified as the man got robbed and beaten within an inch of his life. Numa wondered what would happen next
''It so happened that priest was coming along from jerusalem.'' Jesus continued ''He dared not find out whether the man was still alive because he believed it was wrong to touch a dead body the priest walked by on the other side.''
Vesta saw another man coming down the road and hoped that he would help
''Then along came a rich and powerful sadducee. He walked right up to the man..." Jesus explained.
Joseph stared hard.
''...and crossed right over to the other side.'' Jesus said
Vesta heard the crowd murmur in horror she monaned feeling sorry for beaten man

''Then along came a man from samaria.'' Jesus said
''A Samaritan'' Tamar said a shock

''He saw the poor man lying on the road dying...and he..." Jesus said ''took pity on him.''
''Oh think goodness!'' Vesta blew out in relief she held breath in anticipation of that poor robbed man's fate
He heard her sigh of relief and chuckled before continuing.
''He took some ointment that he had and poured it on the man's wounds he bandaged him up as best he could and then the Samaritan took the man to an inn he paid the innkepper and he said 'Whatever else it costs to look after this man i'll pay you on my return!'' Jesus concluded the story.
''Oh, we're glad the Samaritan man helped the poor guy who got robbed.'' Livia said
''Me too!'' Asher smiled
''So you tell me which one of these three men proved to be the man's neighbor" Jesus asked they all
''Well the one who showed him such love.'' Joseph answered
''Well! You go then do the same!'' Jesus said, and stood up, story done the parable settled.
