Chapter 46: 16th Birthday

Izuku's just turned 16 today! His house was full of guests, including his peers and some adults: Nemuri Kayama, Yagi Toshinori (All Might's personal assistant), Mitsuki Bakugo and Mina's mother. Other people have sent their congratulations and gifts via mail. Everyone congratulated Midoriya, who wore the biggest smile ever. After a large cake and wishing to be a great hero, it was time to open the gifts.

Elder Bakugo have brought designer clothing, as expected. Midoriya asked her to let him fondle her hand a bit. The glycerin produced by her quirk made her skin have a moist texture and caramel smell.

"Why couldn't Kacchan be a girl? Or at least a bit more girly? His hands probably smell nice too".

"I doubt that, Izuku. They probably smell of small burns from all the explosions." Kira voiced his opinion.

"I'll ask him about that later."

Katsuki chose a Silver Age All Might action figure as his offering. The person in question gifted an expensive looking watch (Why? Shouldn't he have merchandize of himself?). Tokoyami's present was a newly purchased set of tarot cards, along with an instruction manual. Midnight gave him a set of paints and brushes, much to people's surprise. Ashido box contained a large of Mt. Lady in her debut pose, much no Inko's embarrassment. Ochako had prepared katsu sandwiches, as Izuku really liked them. Hagakure unceremoniously put a collar with her name on her neck and gave Midoriya the leash. His quirk had to swiftly hide the thing in one of the boxes (Thank goodness his mom wasn't in the room at the moment).

"For someone who aims to work in stealth she has absolutely no subtlety."

"Agreed."

Kacchan couldn't help but yell at Tooru for this, getting a slap from his mother in the process. Todoroki has procured a rare statue of Manual (rare because only one factory bothered to make them). Kendou handed him a karate uniform, hinting at what they'll do later.

It was time for mailed presents. Yaoyorozu sent him a big matryoshka with green hair, freckles and something special inside. There was a large frame revolver with wooden grip and engravings of King Crimson and Killer Queen on either side*. The thing was bigger and heavier than guns given by UA. What's more, it used 44 instead of 357 magnum.

"How the hell did this get to me? I don't think she can openly send me this thing just because we both have licenses."

"I suspect hush money." Diavolo answered.

"Yeah, makes sense. You know, I think there is a bit symbolism with this weapon: engravings show stands that aren't very precise and therefore need a gun. It's bigger and uses a more destructive caliber because stand super strength can handle heavy recoil without issues."

"I think you are over thinking this, Midoriya."

"May be. Honestly, a part of me just wants to put this beauty on the wall instead of wearing it down."

"Is that a gun?" Mitsuki Bakugo was shocked. "What irresponsible rascal would send it via mail?"

Dr Kisen's envelope contained a reservation to a spa hotel. "Nothing clears mind and body like a good spa session" as she described. Sir Nighteye gave up some of his own merch of the Number One Hero. Nezu's present was an exquisite tea set. Chitose-san sent him an invitation to a tour into Detnerat HQ, as well as a pinup photo of herself with a lipstick mark on it. Nemuri-sama joked that she's been outplayed.

"Detnerat produces some of the best support equipment in Japan. I won't miss this trip for anythinag."

Tokage's gift was a severed hand, which was really hard to explain to those who didn't know her quirk or forgot about it after Sports Festival. Melissa's box had replicas of his hero suit parts with adjustable colors. Finally, Star and Stripe just sent him a large US flag. When the boy tried to hang it on a wall, he ended up tripping and letting the flag cover him whole.

After the party was over and everyone left, Izuku and Itsuka went to the Takoba beach, where genius girl moving garbage on a small motorbike. KQ ended up cleaning the last bits after a few hours.

"Congratulations!" Red head was clapping. "What have you learnt while doing this task?"

"A road towards a girl's heart is paved with good deeds." Green head's answer.

"Hark work makes you too tired to think." Raven hair's response.

"Well, I guess that's close enough. Your next task is to learn karate with my dad! No quirks, obviously."

"Cool!"

"Do we have to do that?" Momo wasn't quite pleased.

"Your mistress commands you!" Istuka tried to imitate her lover's voice and mannerisms.

"Fine, "mistress". I'll think of what you'll do in return."

I like to think that All Might has no merch of any hero because he's too busy saving people to worry about that.

Please correct me if I forgot anyone who should have sent something. It's kind of hard to keep track of who is Izuku's close friend and who is not.

I'll probably make 1 chapter with pure smut and 1-2 regulars before the Forest arc.
