Hello everyone! I was at work day dreaming about a story where Naruto really focused on taijutsu then it hit me! So I wanted to test out this chapter and hopefully y'all enjoy the ride!
Chunin exams: Forest of death
The second round of the chunin exams isn't for the weak, various teams fighting and struggling for two sets of scrolls for the chance to advance to the finals, Team seven however got caught in crossfires.
First from a team in Amegakure, then they ran into a ninja from "Kusa" who really was Orochimaru.
Naruto fought hard, escaping the snake then saving his team from said sannin.
Sasuke who was too terrified to take him on, the Uzumaki decided he'll have to fight the snake caster himself.
Showing glimpses of greatness, he takes on Orochimaru, even displaying chakra from the kyuubi.
'He's far more impressive than I thought. Nine-tails or not the boy has some talent after all, guess Kabuto info cards aren't 100% accurate.'
But the fight would end with Naruto losing, and getting his connection to the Kyuubi snuffed.
"Five-pronged seal!" Orochimaru placed his seal over Naruto's original seal, causing his chakra to be unbalanced, knocking him unconscious.
His teammates watched in horror, Sasuke feeling helpless as the boy was tossed aside but Sakura saved him with a kunai.
Questioning himself, Sasuke finally found the courage to fight.
Later throughout the night, Team seven dealt with few occurrences.
Sasuke now has a new curse mark on his neck, and with Naruto still out of commission, it just left Sakura to look after them.
Something however is changing within Naruto, his right hand is slowly covered by dark blue writing.
His body lengthening out, his chakra that was once unbalanced, is balancing itself out after so long having an enormous amount of chakra thanks to the kyuubi.
It is rather odd but his chakra seemingly to have another life force entering him, once felt sick now is filled with a big urge of euphoria.
Few days passed since their last encounter, but from here it only got worse.
A team from Sound came to confront Sakura, wanting to kill them, mainly Sasuke.
Despite her tactics, nothing seemed to work as they had a counter for each trap she pulled.
Looking over her two unconscious teammates, she grew more desperate as time went on.
'What with Naruto chakra? He's starting to glow. Cha! Stop making it harder for me to fight damnit!"
Caught off guard for a second, she turns to get her hair snatched by the girl of the Sound.
Few moments went by, as all hope seemed to be lost, tears filling her eyes.
Naruto dreams
Not knowing where he's at, he looks around seeing waterfalls, skulls and a purple sky hovering over him.
'Where the hell am I? Last I remember, I was fighting a freaky tongue lady, now I'm what seems to be in another dimension.'
Glancing over he notices a guitar and kunai by what seems to be a treasure chest.
Running over to the items, he simply got pushed back by a force of chakra. Now dumped in by a body of skeletons, he freaks out.
'AAHHHHHHHH' Hands over his face but then he hears a voice.
"Shut the fuck up!" his screams stopped. Looking over where he heard the voice, it appears to be a woman that's naked but her hands covering her breast and frontal area. Eyes colored as a tinted blue, skin is brown, and she is seemingly over 7ft tall with red hair.
The boy is confused, but also blushing at her presence.
'Um, who are you and where am I, oh why is a pretty lady naked in front of me?' Naruto asks all at once.
Looking down at him, she just let out a chuckle before explaining.
"Quite the curious boy huh? Well it seems you have awakened my dear, you are the vessel of "Yami no Ryu" She said much to the boy's confusion.
"I would take the time to explain, but you might want to help out Pinky before she dies."
Before the blonde can say something, she quickly remembers.
"Once you wake up, you'll feel a little different, but not too much. You see, you're bonded with "Yami no Ryu" personality wise. The only difference will be your ego and fighting style, but you'll move as if you were born that way."
'But-' Naruto was about to question until she tapped him on his chest. A burst of chakra surges from his hand to his entire body, as everything is sinking away from him.
Back to reality
Sakura kunai in hand, stops as did everyone who was about to make their move did as well.
The uzumaki body levitates, swirling around him is blue energy, unlike the kyuubi chakra where you feel terror, it feels like you're on a high.
In other areas, his chakra could be felt. From the Hokage to the proctors and jonin.
Now back standing, eyes still closed until he suddenly opens them.
His appearance changed a bit, standing two inches taller, muscles broadened, his eyes are now two colored, his left eye is still blue while his right eye is purple.
Just the feel of his chakra causing goosebumps to everyone around him.
Standing in the bushes, team ten, and nine look on in shock.
'What happened to Naruto? He's different, but his hand is covered in interesting markings.'
"Neji." TenTen said as the prodigy nodded his head.
"Byakugan!" Checking out Naruto chakra network, his mind racing.
'I don't know what I'm looking at. It's like his body and adjusting to this new chakra as it slowly takes over. Is this truly chakra?'
Dosu looks at the blonde with caution, his gut feeling uncertain if they should take him on.
Zaku, snorted before speaking up, "What's wrong Dosu? Cold feet?"
"Wait Zaku- '' But it didn't matter, the jinchuriki made his way to Zaku as he gripped his hand.
Silence reigned, shock at his speed. Naruto then strengthened his grip, causing the sound ninja to grunt in pain, feeling like a weight machine pressed against his hand.
Then just a second his jaw would get crushed by a hard hitting knee, causing blood to splatter.
Sakura's eyes widened, not believing what she had seen.
'No way' collective thoughts of everyone, Zaku's body gets sent flying through the forest, blood trails being left.
Naruto who's looking at his hand in bewilderment.
'I just gotten 10x more awesome.' He thought, feeling like the world is his now.
'Whatever it is, glad the tide has turned. Wait, where is my kunai?' Eyes blinking at the missing kunai in her hand.
Looking over at the blonde, she notices he has it. When the hell did he get to her?
Naruto then appears behind Sakura, kneeling down.
"Beautiful pink hair like that? Must've been why I woke up suddenly, I can't risk losing that lovely hair." He said while rubbing the length.
Blushing at the certain call out, and the feel of her hair being rubbed, she suddenly gets upset.
"Let go, you jerk!" Sakura turns to swing but Naruto stops her punch with just a finger.
Laughing, as he wags his finger with his free hand, kunai is attached.
Tossing the now kunai at Dosu, who froze up.
"Okay mummy, I think I understand the situation now. I'm hoping you decline but if you're weak like your buddy over there then I'll pass. Scroll or die."
Stunned, Kin looks over at Dosu as he nods his head. Slowly walking over before dropping the scroll.
"You got your scroll, let us grab our teammate and leave freely." Pleaded the sound ninja.
Standing up now as he rubs his neck and stretches. "Yea yea, hurry before I change my mind."
Quickly scurrying towards their fallen teammate and leaving, the blonde genin then looks over at everyone else that is "hiding". Before he was about to call them out, he decided to mess with them a bit.
Team ten, in the bushes discussing the situation, realizing that Sakura didn't need help at all.
"So, why are we hiding?" Naruto stated as he by them in the bushes.
Chouji, Shikamaru and Ino all fell out of the bushes, with Chouji belly smacking against Shikamaru's face.
Once again, Naruto laughs at their reactions.
Sakura looked with such disbelief at her teammate. 'Ha good one, scaring Ino-pig Cha!'
"Now then you three up on the trees? Wait, bushy brow! Hey! There's an ass I need to kick."
Waving them down, three of the ninja's not sure if he is being serious or not.
All three came down, with six of the other genin in general now in sight, they waited for what happened next.
Explaining why they were watching, about to aid Sakura, Naruto quickly nods understanding now.
The nara had questions, but now not the time as they need to find other scrolls. So with that team ten said their goodbyes and left.
So did team nine, leaving just team seven to themselves.
"Sakura, get grumpy Uchiha and let's hunt for something to eat until he wakes up."
She was about to comment, but he just took off without saying another word.
"Wait you idiot!" She yelled as she enjoyed Sasuke's body while trying to catch up to the blonde.
Tower
At the tower of the chunin exams, team seven are in their dock of the room, waiting for the next step.
During this time Sasuke had woken up, still feeling low on chakra, holding his neck no longer feeling the pain, noticing the mark is now gone.
Flash back
"Something's wrong with Sasuke's neck. It foul chakra causing mine to interact with it."
Sakura looks on, as Sasuke is still motionless on the ground, she watches Naruto closely.
"What are you planning?" Unease feeling at Naruto's hand glowing by Sasuke's neck.
"Ya know, ever since I woke up, these new powers are pieced together like they've been here."
Just like that, the curse mark is slowly being drained from the Uchiha neck as Naruto marked hand absorbed it.
"Don't quite know what I did, but whatever was eating at teme is no more, save your future relief toy." He joked, something Sakura didn't appreciate.
Swing, but Naruto quickly caught with a finger, letting out a generous laugh pissing off Sakura.
"Cha I'm going to maim you Naruto!" Roared the kunoichi.
Back to reality
"Alright let's open these scrolls!" Naruto cheered, much to the annoyance of his teammates.
It's if he is still the same knucklehead but amped up, not only that but his noticeable physical growth got them questioning what's wrong with him?
In the jinchuriki's mind, he had plenty of questions too. His appetite for fighting and constant feel of training, as well as many things still left to be questioned.
Figuring he'll get his answers after the exams, by entering his mindscape again he just kept on focus at hand.
Sakura and Sasuke opened the scroll in sync, popping out of the scroll was their academy instructor, Iruka.
"Iruka sensei! Hey!" Happy to see his academy student.
Iruka smiled for a second as he freaked out mentally at the sight of Naruto.
"Naruto! What the hell happened!?" Checking out his former student, seeing him two inches shorter than him.
Rubbing his head, "Been drinking juice and doing my stretches." He said sarcastically.
Sighing,'At least he's still the same knucklehead.' Thought the chunin.
Looking at his right hand, then seeing one eye is purple, wondering if that is the cause of his transformation, he pushes it to the side for now, noting he'll bring it to Lord Third's attention later.
Iruka went on to explain the purpose of the 2nd stage of the exams, and proceeded to tell them they may move on past the doors.
Team seven enters as they're now met with the remaining teams.
Others turned towards them, some eyeing the kyuubi host, noticing something different about him, not just appearance but also chakra.
Hiruzen, before he began explaining that they're hosting the preliminaries, had tons of questions going on his mind. Tossing them aside for now he questions if anyone wants to back out now before they begin.
Kabuto opted out much to the surprise of the rookie teams, except a few who find his forfeiting suspicious.
Hiruzen continued by explaining that the preliminaries are made to decide the final contestants for the final round.
In the first round match up it was Sasuke vs Misumi Tsurigi, which was a sloppy fight for the prodigy Uchiha.
Sasuke, who was still recovering from his fight against Orochimaru, didn't have to struggle with interference of the curse mark, thanks to Naruto absorbing it.
Winning the fight with his lion barrage.
Orochimaru under his henge squints his eyes. 'How did Sasuke-kun lose his curse mark? It's impossible."
Hayate, coughing a few times before claiming Sasuke the winner.
Ino and Sakura exclaimed "Congrats Sasuke-kun!"
He looked up at them, "Whatever." Mumbled the Uchiha as he made his way up to the rest.
"Not bad Sasuke! A little sloppy for a genius but at least you won." Said the boy, who changed up his look a little bit, having his jacket wrapped around his waist.
Ignoring the blonde, he glanced at Kakashi who gave him a thumbs up.
The next few fights will come and go, from Shikamaru showing his brilliance, to Ino and Sakura taking each other out, and Shino winning by forfeit thanks to Zaku still unable to fully fight.
"Next up is Kiba Inuzuka vs Naruto Uzumaki."
Clapping his hands together ready to destroy Naruto, but Akamaru just pouts, cowering on top of Kiba's head much to his confusion. "What is it boy?"
"Time to beat Kiba's ass, now watch guys, only will take one punch!" Naruto boasts, as the others just facepalm before he leapt off the rail.
"So did he ever tell you about the sudden change of his growth and chakra?" Questioned their sensei.
Sakura shakes her head while Sasuke shrugs his shoulders.
Hiruzen looks interested to see how much Naruto changes, it is kind of hard to ignore the boy's chakra and what appears to be tattoos on his right hand.
Hayate looks at the two competitors before signaling. "Begin!"
Kiba has a cocky grin, while Naruto gets in stance waiting for each other to make the next move.
"I don't know what happened to you, but remember you're still dead last!" Pointed dog boy
Naruto shares a laugh before waving Kiba aside, "Yea, yea. Just show me your best. I got a crowd to entertain and some pretty ladies to show off my skills." Winking over at Suna kunoichi, Temari especially.
Slight blush covered her cheeks, before shrugging it off, "What the hell was that just now?"
Kiba is upset, feeling like his opponent is not taking this seriously. "Oh yea, let's see how you feel about this!"
Pop! Akamaru turned into Kiba, stacked on top of each other.
The intensity looked on their face, the growl and nails digging deep into the tiles, smoke bombs went off, as they charged towards Naruto, as the Uzumaki prepared.
Clashes and banging can be heard but nobody could see thanks to the smoke covering the arena, but suddenly the sound stops as the smoke clears.
Ino the first to speak up."Wait what happened?" ask the kunoichi.
Asuma said, "Man, Inuzuka sure has some fire power." Putting a cigarette in his mouth.
Cleared, Naruto is laid face first into the ground, not moving.
Kiba dust himself off with a grin seeing his opponent down.
"Ha, I knew you were just talk, you might've grown some height but you're still a loser." Knocked Kiba.
"No way, Naruto lost like that, it's impossible." Stated Sakura, while the rest of team seven just stood silent.
'Naruto-kun' Hinata gulped, sad for Naruto.
"Hey, proctor, fight over, let's call i-" Just as he turned his head, Naruto backhanded him with so much force it knocked a tooth out, as he slid across the ground.
Before Akamaru could run, he lifted the pup up by his tail, and tapped his head, putting him to sleep.
"Man I should really be an actor, see how I played y'all for a fool?" Said Naruto as he put the dog down on the ground.
Everyone was puzzled at what they saw, not believing it ended just like that.
Kurenai was shocked, "Wait, how did you avoid Kiba's whirlwind combo?" Out of character yelled.
Scratching his head."Simple, I just maneuvered my body enough to where his hits didn't touch me but I had him think it did. All that was left was for me to lower my chakra as if I was out cold."
Hiruzen was amazed by the boy. 'He purposely not displaying any techniques, going straight for the blow, Naruto definitely becoming more dangerous, I'll need to call Jiraiya in order to discuss the boy power now, and that marking.'
"Hey sir, probably want to call it now, dog breath out of it." Pointing over at Kiba.
Hayate, coughing. "Winner of this match, Naruto Uzumaki."
Hinata would be pleased that Naruto won, but looking over at Kiba and feeling bad as she makes her way towards her teammate.
'I heard he was a failure, but how did he get so strong? Lee mopped the floor with him before the exams.' Thought the Hyuuga prodigy.
'That's right Naruto-san, I hope I face you in the finals.' Lee said, fired up.
'Naruto, there's so much I need to ask, but one thing for sure Minato-sama would be proud.' Kakashi praises with an eye smile.
'Not good.' The Sand siblings thought, watching Gaara getting excited.
The exams went on throughout the day, with the next fight being Hinata vs Neji.
Neji and Hinata trade attacks, Hyuuga style which Hinata had lost but before Neji could send the finishing blow to her, Naruto stepped in.
"What's your deal? She lost, no point in continuing the assault on a helpless girl." Glaring at Neji.
Wiping himself off, letting out a grin.
"I can see why you are taking up for her. After all, not even three days ago you were a failure like her." He said smugly.
"What was that?" Said the angered blonde.
"That's right, you might've powered up recently but that doesn't change the fact you were in the same predicament as lady Hinata."
Chuckling a little, Naruto watches as the medics clear the Hyuuga princess on a stretcher, he cracks his knuckles.
"Hope we don't fight in the finals, because I'm going to humble you, dattebayo." He punctuated with a thumbs up as Neji huffs walking away still feeling smugness.
Now towards the final stages of the tournament, it appears to be Gaara vs Rock Lee.
"This is going to be great! Can't wait to see these two throw down!" Naruto said gleefully.
"Tsk, do you ever get tired? You can be annoying." Sasuke said, looking away.
"Hey, don't act like you aren't interested in seeing this match, my chakra is just oozing at the potential damage we'll witness." Naruto said, drooling.
As the fight started, it was rough for Rock Lee. Struggling to overcome the sand ninja defense.
The fight progressed further as Lee removed his weights and landed his punch to Gaara, damaging him for the first time.
Gaara showed blood lust, and Lee showed perseverance.
In the end Lee used five of the eight gates, and would have won had his body not given in to the stress of the gates and Gaara sand.
Just as Gaara was about to end Lee with his sand coffin, Gai intervened.
Everyone looked amazed at the showing they saw, it wasn't just genin fighting, it was at the level of jonin.
Gaara would be the victor of the bout, but Naruto looks on with anticipation.
'He's going to be the guy I'll have to fight eventually'
Gaara watches on as he looks up. 'You see Uzumaki, Uchiha. I'll prove my existence by killing you both.'
Soon after, the preliminaries are over, the third hokage once again gives them information about the finals of the exams.
Each of the finalists grabbed out of a box to pick a number.
'I get that douchebag Neji, can't wait.'
'What a drag, I got to deal with that sound ninja.
'I've to get stronger, Gaara sand will be a difficult one to overcome.'
Thoughts of the competitors, the third hokage will then inform them that the finals will start in a month.
"Now you are all dismissed." Stated the hokage as the others started to leave.
"Kakashi, Naruto. I wish to speak with you two for a moment."
Rest of team seven wondered what the hokage could want from them, but figured it has to do with Naruto changing.
"Hey jiji, what did you have for us?" Wondering what he has to say.
Kakashi knowing the reason, he planned on having him meet Hiruzen anyway.
"I'm sure you're well aware why, I want you to explain the markings on your hand."
Rubbing his head, looking at his right hand. "I don't know much myself, just that we encountered a weird snake lady in the forest, and she placed some weird seal on me that made me feel weird, then lost consciousness."
Nodding his head, wanting him to continue.
"Then all of a sudden, I had a weird dream where this naked lady with wings explaining I'm some sort of vessel. That's when I woke up and for some reason it's like I understand the premise of these powers." Explained the boy.
Hiruzen and Kakashi look at each other, having more questions, but it seems that's all they can get for now.
"I see, tell me, besides your speed and strength. What else can you do?" Rubbing his chin at the question.
"Well I'm super super awesome, and feel sexier." He got bopped on the head by his sensei.
"Serious." He said, as Naruto rubbed his head.
"I can sense even the smallest amount of chakra, I feel like my reaction time is damn near perfect, including the love to train and fight." Punctuated by rubbing his developing muscles.
Thinking out loud. "Also have an urge to flirt with pretty ladies."
Both men face palms. 'Great a developing pervert' Both thought.
"Alright, that's enough for now then, Naruto. I want you to calm down on using your new powers if you can, I believe it can be dangerous." The blonde was about to protest.
Kakashi, planting his hand on the boy."Lord third is right, especially with what you said is true about your encounter with Orochimaru, then something about his seal triggered something."
Looking puzzled, "Orochi-what? I said "a snake lady sensei."
"No, Kakashi right, the person who messed with your seal is Orochimaru, my former student. Anko, one of the proctors, mentioned he took the identities of a kusa shinobi."
Smashing his fist together, "If that's the case then, I should pay him back in kind." Announced the boy.
Hiruzen this time bops him on the head, much to the irritation of Naruto.
"Don't be foolish my boy, you might've gotten powerful, but Orochimaru is one of the legendary sannin. However, there's another sannin I'm planning on meeting."
His interest peaked. "Wait so I'm meeting one of these "sannin's" where do I find him?"
'This boy really doesn't know his history, funny how he looks like Minato but doesn't have his brain.'
"You don't find him, he finds you. I've already contacted him to come back urgently, so don't worry he'll be here shortly."
"If that's the case, I'll focus my training on Sasuke. With him facing Gaara, he'll need all the attention." Kakashi stated.
Naruto, who just placed his hands behind his head. "Yea the teme needs more training, I'm awesome as is."
Again both adults just palmed at Naruto.
"Alright now, this is all I had for the both of you. Congratulations Naruto, remember try not to use your powers until you meet my other student."
Giving him a thumbs up, Hiruzen shunshin away, leaving two of team seven by themselves.
1 day later
It sure has been quite boring for the blonde, waiting for this "sannin" to show himself.
Thinking about his fight against Neji in many ways he was thinking of beating him, another thought was on his mind.
'I need to find a way to enter that world. So many more questions I got for her.'
Laying on the training grounds for team seven, he sits back up.
Sporting a new outfit, growing out of his clothes, he decided to buy something more his size, and style.
Wearing an orange shirt with cut sleeves, black ripped pants, a black leather jacket, with his clan insignia on the back, finished with standard shinobi sandals.
His headband now around his neck, he just sighs before jumping up.
"Let's see, hot springs sound nice." He heads towards the springs to relax his body.
Relaxing at the hot springs, Naruto was soaking deep in the springs then popped up to surface level letting his hair spin around.
"Ahhh, it's great to be in the hot springs." Sensing an interesting chakra by the trees, particularly on the women's side.
"No matter what country I'm in, nothing beats the women from Konoha." He said as he laughed mischievously.
"Old man, why are you peeping on women?" Said blonde, with his towel wrapped around him.
Eek Nearly falling off the tree. He would get back up, wiping himself off, embarrassed he got caught off guard.
"What's the deal squirt? Don't you see I'm doing my research!?" Animatedly pointing at the scene below them.
"Research? More like being a pervert." Accused Naruto.
The commotion between the two, causes the women to notice and squeal at the two.
Objects, such as kunai, shampoo bottles were thrown at the tree, as the two scrambled trying to dodge the items.
"Kid, let's get out of here." The blonde nodded his head, as they both got out of there.
Now away from the scene, Naruto and the old man are sitting by ichiraku's.
"So you're the sannin, jiji was talking about." He confirmed, he definitely fit the description.
"Not just a sannin, kid. I'm the legendary toad sage Jiraiya!" Exclaimed Jiraiya.
Ayame and Teuchi were amazed to see Jiraiya back in the village, but Naruto looks unimpressed.
'Geez, old man hokage sure forgot to mention, he's sort of lame. But he is definitely powerful.'
Eating his bowl of ramen, before asking for another bowl, Jiraiya observes the kid.
"I see, sensei told you about me. He also updated me about you, and judging from the last picture I got of you, you went through some changes."
Nodding his head, "Jiji told me to hold off on using my new powers, until you've arrived."
"Speaking of that, let's head out of here and show me what you can do." Reaching for his wallet, about to pay for the meal, his eyes almost fell out of his sockets, seeing the amount of ramen Naruto consumed.
"Thanks, pervy dude, you aren't too bad!" Stretching and burping pretty loud, rubbing his belly.
Team seven training ground
Naruto showed Jiraiya some of his abilities during this time, trees, and the ground are damaged with craters forming, Jiraiya is indeed impressed.
"Kid, that is impressive, to think my old teammate planned backfired on disturbing your chakra makes it ironic."
Huffing a little bit, letting his chakra cool down, he wiped off his forehead from all the sweat.
"This might be hard, but the only way for us to get more answers is for you to go back to that realm to learn more about your power." Rolling his eyes at his answer.
"I tried doing that and so far no results." Sighed Naruto.
Thinking every single possibility, as if a light bulb went off, he has just the idea.
"I got an idea that might work. Actually it's a jutsu I originally was going to teach you."
Perking up at what he got in mind, he quickly got up ready to see what he had in mind.
Jiraiya simply bites his thumb and performs a few hand signs. "Summoning Jutsu!" What came out was a toad.
Impressed by the size of the toad Jiraiya summoned, he had a confused look on his face.
"Don't get me wrong, it's a cool jutsu, but how me summoning a frog will get me back to that world?"
Flabbergasted by his blonde protege dismissal. "You fool! It's a toad, not a frog and allow me to explain before jumping to conclusions." He said rushing toward the blonde shaking his shoulders.
Unnerved, he nods his head and listens.
"First you don't have a contract, so you won't be able to summon a toad or any animal. You need a contract in order to perform this jutsu." Wagging his finger.
"I tried doing this jutsu when the old man showed me and reversed summoned me to the land of Mount Myoboku."
Eyes lit up, "I see, so you want me to perform the same jutsu and see if the reverse summon can send me to that place." Jiraiya nods.
"Although this isn't the best solution, we got to try what we got." The sage said.
Naruto, not wasting any time, performed the hand signs. "Summoning Jutsu!" Nothing happened so far.
Looking disappointed, "Seems like that idea was a waste o-" His hand started glowing before a portal opened, sucking him in.
Jiraiya quickly rushed to where he was just standing, not too surprised by the outcome, but still worried.
'Hopefully this doesn't backfire.' The sannin thought, as flashes of Minato popped in his head.
Naruto Mindscape
Frantically yelling, not liking the deep fall, landing in the purple lake, he quickly jumps out, coughing.
"I'm starting to hate this." Talking to himself, now looking at his surroundings.
Remembering the skeletons, and kunai along with the guitar.
"Yep, I did it!" Boasted Jinchuriki. His celebration however wouldn't last long as the figure from before popped up behind him.
"Shut up you bastard!" Taken by surprise, he jumps out from where he stood, falling face first.
"Okay, I see why the others are starting to hate that." Dusting himself off.
His eyes brightened up, seeing the red haired woman again.
This time, she was wearing a white robe covering her thighs, still tall as heck, but at least now she appeared somewhat modest.
"I see, you found your way back. I must applaud you for your efforts." She claps, much to the blonde's appreciation, yet confusion.
"About that, is there a way we can make this easier for the next time I need to talk?"
"I suppose so, after all this is yours and the master's world. I surely don't want to face his wrath afterall." She shivers at the thought.
Pointing at her, "See like that's my first question, you claim I'm a vessel. Well what do you mean by that?"
Finding the blonde humorous, she chuckles again, before tapping her fingers.
Just like that the whole area changed, projecting images, first there's an image of another woman with red hair, whose eyes are rippled.
"This woman is named Orihime Uzumaki. She's your ancestor, and founder of the Uzumaki clan." Naruto's eyes widened at the revelation.
So many more questions he has now. Apparently he belongs to a clan, wondering why he was never told this.
Holding his hand, pointing at it.
"This seal is called a Kama seal, she created a unique power, calling it Yami no ryu, before her death, merged it together with the Kama seal. Selected at random, you were the lucky winner out of the Uzumaki clan."
Getting a headache, the more she explains about the origins of his power, he is definitely going to be reminded again until it's melted into his brain.
"So, who are you then?"
"I'm Orihime-sama will. I'm the guide/servant to whoever possesses Yami no ryu."
Blushing a little at her choice of words. Being told a beautiful woman is his servant definitely got the blood flowing.
A foot smashed in his face.
"Don't get the wrong idea, I might serve you, but the real master is Yami no ryu."
Foot still placed on his face. He nods understandably as she removes her foot.
"That's my next question, where do I meet this "Yami no ryu."
"How would I know?" Shrugging her shoulders.
Face faulting at her response. "Then how do you know him?"
"Orihime-sama, only knows what he looks like. He hasn't been reborn yet, you're the key to his revival, his chakra only resides in you, but y'all linked since birth, but the kyuubi inside you stalled the process."
"So that explains it, when that bastard tampered with my seal, he basically released this "Kama" seal."
She simply nods.
"So, you know anything about my powers?"
"I do, that's why we're going to be here from time to time. I'll teach you, I see you're getting accustomed to the 'Dragon Fist' technique."
Tilting his head, "Dragon-what now?" Even more confused.
She laughs to herself, "Oops, silly me. I was so busy getting you out of here, I forgot to tell you about the 'Dragon fist'."
Wanting to tumble over again, he just held himself together, listening.
"It's a destructive, but controlled form of taijutsu. It infuses with your physical prowess and dark chakra of the Yami no ryu."
Amazed/excited about what he heard, the fact he has such lethal power in his asset.
"The downfall however, use too much of it and you'll die. But we have counter measures for it, see your hand is your limiter. The more you master the Dragon Fist, the more the seal grows throughout your body."
Nodding his head, listening to the woman explaining.
She then switched back to the land they were at before.
Going over to the guitar and kunai, tossing them towards Naruto who caught them.
"I'll teach you about both of these instruments, just be aware it'll take time getting used to them. Orihime-sama used to get bored easily but she was a great admirer of music."
Playing with the strings of the guitar, making a racket out of the guitar, causing the woman to hold her ears, before snatching the guitar out of his hands, much to his complaints.
"By the way lady. What's your name?"
"Just call me Casca." She smiled.
"Now let's begin your first lesson." Her innocent smile turned devious.
One Month Later
It's been one month and now is time for the finals of the chunin exams.
Everyone except Naruto, Sasuke and Dosu were in the stadium.
The stadium was sold out, everyone there waiting to see the exams, royals having sky box views, food was being passed around, even the two kages from suna and the leaf are seated, awaiting to announce the start of the exams.
"Geez, all these people here. What a drag, but where are Sasuke and Naruto at?" Wondered the nara.
In the stands, Sakura and Ino wondered the same thing, with the latter being worried.
"Come on Forehead, no need to be so down. I'm sure they're running late." Trying to comfort her friend.
Feeling a little better, she smiles nodding her head, agreeing with her.
Genma, toothpick in mouth motions over to the rest of the genin, "We're about to start."
Suddenly, a loud noise is heard heading towards the arena.
Rifts, from what to be from a guitar is heard.
Everyone silent, attention surrounding the entrance from the arena.
Poof, Shadow clone of a certain blonde ninja, taking center stage.
"May I have y'all attention. Boss is here to display his awesomeness." The clone said.
Asuma, next to Kurenai, look at each other before looking back at the scene.
Iruka, facepalming and Hiruzen covers his face in embarrassment.
Smoke bombs are set off, covering half of the arena, as the smoke clears there stands Naruto.
Still with his new look, except his hair grew out similar to Minato's. He added fingerless gloves, Guitar in hand with the words "Darkness' in orange with purple trimming.

Him and his clone finish off the song, with a loud rupture.
Placing his guitar on his back now, everyone in the stands were dead silent.
Until one person clapped, followed by more claps, now a standing ovation. Naruto starts raising his hands in the air, as he bows.
Shikamaru slowly clapped, pretty impressed at his skills.
Temari, blushing but keeping her cool, the other rookie kunoichi hiding their blush.
'When did Naruto get so hot?' Ino thought, drool hanging out of her mouth.
Sakura, looking over at Ino and shakes her head, admits Naruto's new look is really nice.
Hinata faints, and a section of women that appear to be civilians are fangirling over the Uzumaki.
Kiba and Kankuro look jealous at the female attention he is getting.
Jiraiya is extremely proud., 'Kid, you're going to make me millions!" Already going through many ideas in his head for his next book.
"Thank you, I can't help myself!" Taking in all of the praise.
"He definitely looks and from how the women act, Lord fourth kid." Genma said to nobody in particular.
First match: Naruto vs Neji
After the excitement had died down, Naruto joined the others, observing the competition.
Squinting his eyes, he noticed a certain Uchiha missing.
"Hey where the hell is the duck hair butt?" Snorts are heard, some with annoyance on their face.
"He's not here, neither is my opponent." Shikamaru said.
The proctor steps in,"Let's not worry about that now, we are about to start."
"Now the first match is Naruto Uzumaki vs Neji Hyuuga. Everyone else please go towards the stands."
All the genins made their way towards the sidelines, Naruto has a smirk on his face, while Neji's serious.
In the stands, Hiruzen analyzes the blonde shinobi.
'His change in outfit is quite a surprise but that's not all, his hair. It's going to be harder now to deny his heritage, I can't imagine how much stronger he's gotten. This is going to be a headache.'
Just the fact that the elders will demand answers, along with the potential of this going back to the Stone and Cloud village.
Jiraiya appears next to Hiruzen, "Hey sensei, I see you eyeing the gaki."
"Jiraiya, was this your decision about the boy's new look?"
"Awe come on, his whole rock demeanor is all him, and the hair was something he felt growing out." Knowing where this conversation is getting at.
Getting closer within ear distance, "Wait till you see how much he improved."
That was something Hiruzen was interested to know, over the past month, Jiraiya informed him of Naruto's training.
"I guess, we'll have more of a discussion after these exams." Hiruzen stated while the sannin agreed.
The "Kazekage", sitting next to them, find their exchange pretty interesting.
'Sensei was already a problem, but now Jiraiya. Plans aren't working out, especially with Sasuke-kun curse mark disappearing, it must be that brat.' Rationalized Orochimaru.
Back to the fight, Naruto and Neji are ready to fight, Genma signaling for them to continue.
Both stare each other down, Naruto still having the same grin, which angered Neji.
"Why do you have that distasteful look on your face? "
"Just funny, today is the day you're going to be humbled." The looks on the smug hyuuga's make it just as good.
Getting in stance, Neji simply has no more words.
Naruto's stance changed, which abruptly stopped Neji from proceeding forward.
Hands in pockets, left foot forward, while the right is back.
"So..you going to make the first move, or you want me to?" Deviousness in his words.
Like that, he took off with one step. Neji dashes back, keeping his distance but to o avail.
One kick was blocked by Neji, as he tried to go for a chakra point, Naruto smacked the Hyuuga hands, being pushed back, Neji went harder in his attack.
'It's like he's toying with me. He could've attacked me, but he simply allowed me to continue my moves.'
Still with the same grin, pacing Neji blow to blow.
Up in the stands, Gai and Lee watch. "It's incredible, I never thought a genin would be able to keep up-no pace with Neji."
"He's not just pacing, he can move faster, it's like he's toying with him." Asuma added.
Rock Lee, watches on. Feeling a tug of jealousy mainly because he wish it was him that made it to the final round, what adds sting to injury is that someone gaining the best of his rival.
His byakugan intensifies the more he tries to hit the blonde, Naruto trips up, losing his balance.
'Got him!' His fingers filled with chakra, about to pierce him, Naruto quickly shunshin away.
"Man, you sure do know how to dance, I mean if I wasn't faster than you I totally would've been in pain right now." Topping it off with a laugh, as Neji blood boils.
"Father, I can't believe that cousin Neji missed all of his attacks." The little Hyuuga known as Hanabi said.
Hiashi, sweat trickling down his face, can't believe what he's seeing.
People in the crowd were also surprised, not knowing about Naruto's development, they were certain this fight would've been Neji's easily.
The two tone eye shinobi, hands still in his pockets, awaits Neji next move.
Neji gets in a stance known as the gentle fist.
But Naruto wouldn't allow him to proceed further, channeling up his chakra as his body is ignited by dark blue flames.
"Dragon's Roar" In just an instant, he circulates around Neji's body, as his body is being cut and bruised by every attack in an instant, he finishes Neji off with his fist on his back, causing blood to gush out his mouth.
Dropping the Hyuuga, his face went from serious to back nonchalant.
"Kind of overdid it, But I doubt he'll be moving anytime soon."
Genma, checking on the Hyuuga for a second, calling the match.
"Winner: Naruto Uzumaki!"
Medics came to rush Neji to the back, to properly heal him.
Everyone is stunned and silent as they see Naruto, destroying Neji quite easily.
Sakura and Ino look at each other before clapping, slowly followed by others, with some sharing their disgust at the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki.
Hinata smiles,"You did it Naruto-kun.'
"Can't believe I fought a guy like that, wow." Akumaru agreed with a bark.
"Told you sensei, the gaki training was intense, he definitely can challenge his sensei." Much to the agreement of Hiruzen.
Gai looked amazed, "He unlocked a different skill set of taijutsu, the flames of youth shine bright with this one!"
After the praise Naruto simply shunshin back to the stands with everyone else, as the exams continue.
Throughout the fights, Shikamaru showcased his talents but forfeit due to being "too much work".
Naruto almost strangled Nara, upset at his friend's lack of urgency.
Now as time passed they've been waiting for Sasuke and Gaara, with the earlier not being there.
Sakura's worries increased, Naruto on the other hand was growing bored. "Kakashi Sensei and Sasuke better show up, it's been 30 minutes already!"
Thanks to Oro-kazekage requesting another extension, Jiraiya and Sarutobi suspensions increased further, knowing it got to be their former colleague rather than Suna kage.
Time was about to be up until both figures appeared in epic fashion.
Sasuke with new attire, and Kakashi in the same outfit.
"Hopefully we aren't too late?" He said with an eye smile.
Genma just laughs while shaking his head.
"Hey teme! What took you so long you asshole!" The blonde said, dropping down next to them.
Sakura smiling at the scene.
"Tch, you loud as always loser." Observing his rival's gear, he nods.
"Not too bad."
"Same with you, see you're ready to kick some ass before I kick yours?"
"You can try it." Both men fist bump each other.
'Sensei!?' Kakashi's mind went blank for a moment as he saw Naruto's hair, looking like his father's twin.
Now the next fight is under way, something that the fans have been waiting for.
Sasuke vs Gaara, as everyone went back to the stands.
Sasuke displayed a new speed, with Kakashi revealing that Sasuke copied Lee speed.
Everything was looking good for the avenger until Gaara started bleeding.
"Blood it's my own blood!" Roared the psych ward jinchuriki.
"Damn red hair going crazy." Naruto remarked, closing his ears.
Just then smoke bombs went off and everyone in the arena was placed in a genjutsu which put them to sleep except for those who's skilled enough to release it.
Hiruzen who's now looking over the kazekage would get grabbed and held at kunai point but then his arm would be grabbed by Jiraiya as the three in a stalemate.
Followed by one of the sound ninja they used explosives causing the three to seperate but is now headed down in the arena.
"What's going on?" Sasuke questioned no one in particular.
He watches as Temari and Kankuro come to Gaara aid and usher him away, Sasuke quickly follows after them.
Naruto quickly was about to jump in but was halted by Kakashi.
"Wait Naruto, this is a special mission now. Protecting the village from an invasion."
The boy's face got serious and nodded his head.
"This sounds like a perfect job for Naruto Uzumaki-"
"Hold it, take Sakura and Shikamaru with you, this mission is going to need more than brawn to be successful." Naruto nods his head, already sensing their presence.
Woosh, standing over Sakura before a sand ninja hits her. Looking down over her he just smiles.
"Looks like Kakashi wants me to grab you and our lazy nara friend to go back up Sasuke."
Sakura just blinks her eyes, still trying to process what just happened.
No time to waste in a blur right by Shikamaru with Naruto holding her on his shoulder.
Squinting his eyes as his friend who's pretending to be asleep, an idea hit him on the head.
"I actually was going to do this against Kiba but decided against it."
Just then he went by Shikamaru's face, and let out a fart which caused Shikamaru to lift up and gagged.
Sakura's face went red, "EW NARUTO THAT'S DISGUSTING!" She pounds on his back with the Uzumaki laughing.
Moments later everyone was gathered around, with the blonde relaying the details about the mission they were assigned to.
"Surely they're far gone now, how do we know what direction to take and will we make it in time?"
Tick, Sakura is annoyed by Shikamaru's attitude at times.
"We can't just assume the worse Shikamaru, plus Sasuke wouldn't go down so easily."
Raising his hand at the kunoichi."Relax, I don't doubt Sasuke's strength, if anyone can handle that nutcase it's him but I'm just trying to be realistic here."
"You guys tend to forget or it went over your heads since I had some changes happen to me. I can sense everyone's chakra in this village, so I know precisely where they are." Explained the two eye tone jinchuriki.
Just then he created two clones in front of his comrades.
"Hop on, this is going to be pretty much a headache."
Meanwhile, Orochimaru revealed himself which was not surprising to Hiruzen and Jiraiya. The fact that he killed the kazekage and fooled suna into war however was mind boggling.
The barrier would be placed by Orochimaru's sound 4, to make sure there's no interference.
"How cocky you got Orochimaru, to think you can beat me and sensei." Jiraiya commented.
"Kuku, Jiraiya, Sarutobi sensei. I'm not going to fight you both." Like that he clasped his hands together as the coffins appeared side by side from each other.
Both Jiraiya and Sarutobi's eyes widened once it was revealed that the first and second hokage came from their coffins.
'This is bad!' They both thought.
Forest
After a couple of interferences of sound and sand ninja trying to attack them, Naruto would destroy them single handedly.
Now getting to the scene at hand Sasuke would be in the midst of fighting Gaara but due to his curse mark taking effect and his missed usage of the chidori he would be out of commission.
Before Gaara could land the finishing blow he's intercepted by Naruto who landed a powerful kick, sending him through a few trees but was protected by the sand.
Temari and Kankuro watched on seeing team seven and Shikamaru arriving.
"Sakura, Shikamaru. Get Sasuke and retreat from here, I got this." He ordered.
They were about to argue but Sakura noticed he was serious.
The first time since he got these new abilities he was not making a smart comment or joking.
"You got it, come on Shikamaru." She finished with them both grabbing the injured Uchiha and leaving.
Cracking his knuckles as he prepares for the sand jinchuriki ro attack.
"Let's go crazy." He then evades the waves of sand coming at him, blitzing his way towards the half transformed jinchuriki.
'Haven't seen someone with this much chakra since me, wow us jinchuriki's sure are a beast.'
His right eye lights up analyzing his opponent. Closing the gap he sends a strike to Gaara which is stopped by the overload of sand protecting him.
Naruto blocks Gaara's gigantic hand but the force still sends him back.
"So your sand doesn't just automatically protect you, but it also reacts by the power of your opponent's strength." Talking outloud.
Grinning, "I see why Rock Lee was a bad matchup against you. I specialize in taijutsu but you know that, I'm sure. Let's see if you can handle the Dragon Fist." Getting in stance preparing to really test his defense.
"Uzumaki! I'll kill you and prove my existence."
"Sand Bullets!" Bullet like sand strikes at Naruto who evades them, as he gets close again, Gaara's face looks in awe as he gets hit with an elbow to the jaw, getting sent in the air hitting against the branches of the trees.
Not done yet, Naruto again in front of him then sends a devastating kick. "Dragon kick."
Looking like a gooey mess after that he flops effortlessly down to the ground, as the sand siblings look in shock.
"I never seen Gaara get beaten up like this." Temari is utterly shocked.
"Yea, whatever this kid is made of is nothing normal."
Naruto's dark blue chakra is still oozing out, his hand starts beaming as he clenches it.
"I'm still getting used to this damn seal and its restrictions. I already used up two attacks from the Dragon Fist, so now I need to finish it with one more attack."
"How? How am I getting outclassed so easily from someone two months ago who couldn't even beat Kankuro?" His blood boiling, losing more and more control of himself.
"I refuse to lose to a guy like him!" Roared Gaara as suddenly he fully transformed into Shukaku.
"Oh no." Both siblings muttered.
Naruto was pushed back by the mass of Shukaku.
"OH YEAH! I'M FREE AND GOING TO KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!" He roars out.
Naruto closed his ears, letting out a little grin. "I appreciate the energy and banging noise but you're a little too loud."
"YOU THERE I'M GOING TO KILL YOU FIRST TAKE THIS!" Suddenly his belly swelled up then out his mouth was a huge blast, which Naruto almost wasn't prepared for.
The attack destroyed everything in his way leaving half of the environment bare of trees and grass.
Narrowingly escaping with a substitution.
Moving further from Shukaku, as he grabs his guitar.
"Glad my cockiness didn't takeover, I was going to fight him head on but that's suicide."
He then starts tugging on the strings of the guitar, playing the instrument as sound waves make their way towards the bijuu.
The aggressive but yet soft tune of Naruto's guitar eases in his ears as Shukaku is stopped in his tracks, fighting the urge of the music until his pupils fade out as his body retreats back to his jinchuuriki.
Naruto opens his eyes, as the sand spilling everywhere leaving it in a puddle where Gaara's unconscious body lays.
"That guitar can use genjutsu?" Kankuro was baffled.
"Forget that, it can play genjutsu strong enough to tame Shukaku."
Suddenly behind them was Naruto who sent simple chops to their necks to knock them out, but catching them before they fell.
"Now then, to the red head!"
Placing them next to each other, he stares at Gaara, something he kept saying made him feel uneasy, and sad."
"Gaara..I'll talk to you later, but for now there's an invasion I need to handle."
"Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu." A mass of shadow clones appeared.
"Go anywhere that needs help, I'm going to secure these three to the prison." The original order.
"Hai!" All the clones separated.
Back entrance of Konoha
"Keep holding off as long as we can! How long until reinforcement arrives!?" Asuma demanded to know, as they're getting cornered.
"We haven't heard back from HQ, last time we did they said the enemy forces overwhelmed the front entrance.
"Damn it, two hundred to our one fifty isn't enough!" Just then a blitz of chakra appeared in front of him.
On guard until he sees who it is.
'Damn this kid doesn't just look like him but just as fast.' Asuma thought.
"Tell me the situation, I got this from here." Naruto-clone said.
"I know you gotten strong but I don't think you sh-"
"Trust me I got this under control." Interrupting him, not having the time to deal with someone doubting him.
"Can you do me a favor and tell everyone to step back, don't want to accidentally hurt anyone."
Asuma just sighs and tells them to retreat, which they listened to but at the same time didn't understand.
"Been wanting to try this jutsu out." Pulling out a kunai tossing it in the middle.
Everyone observed the kunai, even the enemies.
"First you listen to the tone of the enemies movements." Jumping down over the kunai.
"Second, if they don't move a single step you just listen to their heart beats."
Just then in a flash, Naruto starts going in sync hitting them with a flurry of taijutsu adding the body count.
Asuma and the rest of the leaf shinobi couldn't believe what they had witnessed.
"Boss warned us not to use any more techniques from the Dragon Fist, but I think he'll forgive me for this circumstance." He said before giving a peace sign, poofing.
"Um-"
"I know, let's just get to cleaning up this mess."
Now at the conclusion of the fight for Orochimaru vs Jiraiya and Hiruzen.
Jiraiya and Hiruzen successfully sealed away the first and second hokage's
Knowing the risk of using the reaper death seal, Jiraiya held his tears but still felt utterly useless, not able to protect his sensei from Orochimaru.
Orochimaru failed his mission at destroying the leaf, now lost of his arms, not being able to use hand signs any more, he used his pawns to distract Jiraiya to escape.
Tayuya was that distraction while the rest of the Sound 4 retrieved Orochimaru from the scene.
Now with her captured, there are questions he will have for her, but for now he needed to catch up to his old friend but to no avail as he was already far gone from the scene.
"Old man.." He sombers looking down at his sensei.
Kneeling down as he closes his eyes.
"Farewell to the greatest shinobi of my lifetime."
There you have it! I finished the first chapter of World Strongest!
Now I know some things probably are confusing now, but that's intentional as the discovery of his new found powers will be progressed. I originally wanted Naruto to get the six eyes before writing this but then I just thought a very strong taijutsu user would be more interesting as a dojutsu has been done many times.
Now as far as any questions related to his abilities you are free to dm but I won't give out too many spoilers.
Now I skipped some of the chunin exams and invasion fights, because we saw/read them so many times. I wanted to start the story off somewhere in canon instead of the beginning but trust me the next chapter will definitely have its original arc.
The kama seal being introduced this early also will develop further but I can't spoil what I have planned. Trust me it's going to be good.
One more thing, Naruto won't have a harem, he'll just be a man that enjoys fame and his fangirls but will only have one woman in his life at most 2.
