In their dark prison Sayo and Koh were still strapped down to the tables in the room. Koh grunted as he tried to move but his arms remained stretched apart, his legs were pinned, and his hipline was shackled in place as well. He gasped as he gave up. "Ugh... how long have we been left like this...?"

"Days? Months?" Sayo asked. "I kind of lost track a while ago."

"Sayo..." Koh looked at his friend and rival. "Why did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"You didn't have to surrender to that jerk. Not for me..."

Sayo sighed and closed her eyes thinking about how she got into this mess.

Sayo entered the Union Room in Darkmoon City. Dianamon her trusty Digimon was right behind her as usual. She walked up to where a black and blue version of Gallantmon waited with a woman in a white dress with blue hair. Sayo saluted to them with her Digimon. "Chief Julia. ChaosGallantmon."

The two saluted back. "Sayo. Thank you for coming." the chief said.

"So what is this Quest about?" Sayo asked. "Some unusual activity in Access Glacier?"

"Indeed." ChaosGallantmon replied. "We've been receiving reports about the wild Digimon fleeing the Digiarea to other parts of the Digital World."

"Wild Digimon leaving their natural habitat?" Dianamon asked. "I had never heard of such a thing."

"It is certainly unusual." Chief Julia replied. "But that's not all. Our operators reported a strange energy signal coming from the area."

"Strange?" Sayo asked. "In what way?"

"We don't know." ChaosGallantmon replied. "If it is a Digimon, we have no record of it in our database. We sent Gutts and his team to investigate but..."

Sayo tilted her head. "But...?"

"We lost contact with them just now. They aren't responding."

"Did something happen?!"

"Most likely. We got a call from Chief Glare in Suneshine City." Chief Julia said. "Light Fang was looking into this as well. But the team they sent also went MIA."

"How worrisome..." Dianamon said.

"Indeed." ChaosGallantmon nodded. "It's clear that this is no ordinary threat. So now Sunshine City has agreed it is time to bring out the big guns. It's time to send in Union City's best."

"Both sides best?" Sayo asked. "You mean..."

Chief Julia smiled. "Chief Glare has dispatched Koh to Access Glacier. You will rendezvous with him there, find our missing Tamers and locate the energy source and if it is indeed hostile destroy it."

"Understood." Sayo replied. "I'm on it!"

"Very good. We're counting on you Sayo."

Sayo and Dianamon teleported into the icy landscape surrounded by water. "Here we are." Sayo shivered. "Ah, I forgot how cold it is around here!"

"This is why you shouldn't come out here in a skirt." Dianamon said.

"Excuse me?" Sayo turned to her Digimon. "You're one to talk."

Dianamon laughed. "Well, in any case I don't see Koh or Apollomon anywhere. They must have gone on ahead."

"Then let's not fall behind." Sayo replied. "Come on."

Sayo and her Digimon walked across the icy terrain keeping their eyes peeled for the missing Tamers, Koh, and this anomaly they were sent to locate. "Missing people, an unknown Digimon... it's a mystery on top of a mystery." Sayo said.

"Indeed." Dianamon nodded. "A pity the Cyber Sleuths aren't here to help the investigation."

Sayo chuckled. "Heh. Yeah. I wonder what Takumi and Ami are doing right now." A sudden bang dragged her from her thoughts with a yelp. "What was that?!"

"It came from up ahead." Dianamon twirled her dual ended weapon adjusting her grip. "Let's go!"

Sayo nodded and ran ahead with Dianamon flying next to her. Soon they could see a young boy Sayo's age with an Apollomon. There were multiple Digimon in front of them. Six human kids with them. Two girls and four boys. Sayo immediately identified the first person she saw by their back. "Koh!"

The Tamer of Light Fang looked behind him. "Oh, look who's fashionably late."

"Well sorry we just got word of this just now!" Sayo then noticed what Koh and his Digimon were facing. There was a Cherrymon, a MetalGarurumon, and a Volcanomon. And behind them were three people Syao know well. "Gutts?! Ponch! Barone! What's going on?!"

"No idea." Koh said turning his gaze towards a JumboGamemon, a Megadramon, and a Silphymon. "I just found Cheetah, Tonpei, and Kenpa here who went missing while looking into the weird activity here, then all the sudden they attack me with your friends here!"

Sayo looked at her fellow Night Crow Tamers. "Gutts! Ponch! Barone! What are you doing?!" None of them responded. They started at Sayo with blanks stares before pointing at her. Their Digimon approached. "What's going on?! Are they being controlled by Chrono again?!"

Dianamon noticed a purple aura glowing from the Digimon. "Sayo, something's wrong with their Digimon."

"What do you mean?"

"Ice Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon sent a storm of missiles at Apollomon who dodged as many as he could.

"Top Gun!"

"Genocide Attack!" Megadramon and Silpyimon blind sighted him.

Sayo grinned. "Oh my. You boys look like you're having trouble."

"It's six against one, what do you expect?" Dianamon asked before floating over to Apollomon. "Shall we even things up a little?"

"Much appreciated." Apollomon replied.

Sayo stood next to Koh with a smile. "Try to keep up, okay Koh?"

Koh smirked. "Right back at you. Heh. Come to think of it, last time we teamed up was here against ChaosGallantmon."

"Well, if a team like us can beat him, we can beat Gutts' team."

"And definitely Cheetah. Let's do this! Apollomon!"

"Dianamon!"

"Crazy Ice Blast!" Dianamon spun her weapon, and an icicle flew at the six Digimon in front of her and it exploded in glaciers that flung them everywhere. She flew in towards Megadramon. "Demon Slash!" She swiped at one of them with her weapon knocking it out.

"One down!" Sayo grinned. "Hey Koh, I bet you Dianamon and I can take down more than you!"

"Oh yeah? You're on! Apollomon!"

Apollomon ran up and blocked a punch from Volcanomon before he threw one of his own to the other Digimon's face making it stumble backwards. "Burst Breath!" Apollomon let out a blaze of fire on it knocking it down.

"Jumbo Crater!" JumboGamemon fired all his cannons one by one with high pressure water.

Dianamon gracefully evaded them but was caught off guard by Cherrymon. "Drain Whipping!" The tree Digimon tied Dianamon up in vines. It tried to pull her in, but instead, Dianamon spun like a top spinning Cherrymon with her until she slammed it into the ground releasing its hold on her.

"Goodnight Moon!" Her boots glowed a mysterious light down onto Cherrymon and it passed out.

"Air Cutter!" Silphymon sent blades of wind at Apollomon. Once he dodged them Silphymon pounced at him only to be caught in his hand.

"Fatal Hand!" Apollomon slammed his other palm into it knocking it out.

"Ice Wolf Claw!" Metal Gaurumon fired a storm of missiles at Dianmon who danced around them in the air as she made her was over to it.

"Crescent Harken!" Dianamon slashed MetalGarurumon repeatedly with her weapon until it was unconscious.

"Megaton Hydro Laser!" JumboGamemon shot high pressure water towards Apollomon.

Apollomon held his hands forward. "Soulblaster!" The glowing orb behind him fired a golden beam towards the attacker. A burst of steam flew into the air as it pushed through the attack. JumboGamemon was blown over.

"Looks like it's a tie." Dianamon said. "Oh well. We'll get a chance to one-up the boys later."

"Gaaaah!"

Sayo and Koh noticed the Tamer in front of them were suffering a headache of sorts. "Forget the contest, what's happening to them?!" Sayo asked.

The purple aura around them and their Digimon started to dwindle and die out. Then the six Tamers passed out on the floor. "Guys!" Koh and Sayo ran up to them.

Sayo lifted Barone into a sitting position. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Cheetah, snap out of it!" Koh said shaking his friends' shoulders.

"Interesting." Sayo and Koh looked up and saw a tall Digimon with a gold mask.

"Who are you?" Apollomon asked. The Digimon laughed before fleeing. "Wait!"

"Apollomon, we're going after him! Sayo stay here with the others!"

"Koh, wait!" Sayo's words fell on deaf ears as Koh ran on ahead with his Digimon. She huffed in annoyance. "Sheash. He's so reckless."

"Ugh..." Starting with the blond girl they started to wake up one by one. "Sayo?" Barone shook her head.

"Ow... What's going on here?" Gutts groaned.

"I was about to ask the same thing to all of you." Sayo replied. "Something strange is going on in this digiarea. The Union sent you guys to investigate but you never returned and the Chiefs lost contact, so they sent me and Koh to look for you. When we found you guys you attacked us. Don't you remember?"

"Wait, we did what?" Ponch asked.

"Oh my gosh... I'm so sorry." Kenpa murmured.

"Don't worry about it. Something weird was clearly happening." Sayo said. "You and your Digimon had this purple glow around you. It was like all of you were possessed."

"Wait!" Cheetah gasped. "I remember now! We met up with these Night Crow chumps and were attacked by that weird Digimon!"

"Yeah, that's right!" Gutts shot up. "Freak came at us out of nowhere! I would've had him if Light Fang didn't get in my way!"

Cheetah glared at him. "Excuse me?! You're the one who kept distracting me by running your big fat mouth!"

"Oh, you're one to talk! At least I didn't get my butt whooped first!"

"What was that?!"

Tonpei ran up and pushed his friend away from Light Fang. "Cut it out Cheetah!"

Ponch pulled Gutts away. "You too Gutts, knock it off! This isn't the time for bickering!"

"Ponch is right, we're all on the same side here!" Barone scolded.

Kenpa nodded. "I agree! It's nobody's fault... that Digimon was way too powerful. We couldn't land a single blow on him..."

"Yeah... even with six of us we never stood a chance..." Ponch muttered.

"He was that powerful?" Dianamon asked.

"Insanely powerful." Tonpei replied.

"Did this "insanely powerful" Digimon have a gold mask?" Sayo asked.

"Yeah." Cheetah replied. "Why?"

"Because I think we saw it just now. It ran off and Koh chased after it..."

"By himself?" Kenpa asked. "That's reckless even for him!"

"Sayo... you better hurry after him." Tonpei said. "Koh is strong, but that Digimon is more powerful than you can imagine. He's going to need help."

Sayo nodded. "I'm on it. You guys get back to the City and tell Chief Julia and Chief Glare what happened."

"Alright, fine." Gutts grumbled. "I hate to admit it, but we're kind of out of our league here, aren't we?"

"Yeah. No kidding." Cheetah groaned.

"Be careful Sayo." Barone said. "That Digimon is dangerous."

Sayo watched the Tamers leave. "What kind of Digimon is this?" Dianamon asked.

Sayo shook her head. "I don't know. It sounds like it was the one controlling Gutts and the others…and we saw that trick before…"

"But we destroyed Grimmon. Has Chrono found a new host?"

"Beats me. I have a bad feeling about this Dianamon. We better hurry after Koh."

Dianamon nodded. "Agreed. Let's move!" Sayo ran on ahead. Dianamon followed her. They kept moving across the Icey path as fast as they could. Then they heard sounds of a fight and light flashed up ahead. "Is that them?"

"Hold on Koh..." Sayo quickened her pace.

Up ahead Apollomon and Koh were fighting the black Digimon. The enemy laughed as he dodged flames and light. "Hide and Seek." He vanished evading a fireball.

Koh and his Digimon looked around them. "Where is he?!"

The Digimon came out of nowhere ramming into Apollomon knocking him back. "Venom Disaster!"

A green tornado blew both Apollomon and Koh off their feet. The boy rolled across the ice while Apollomon slid back on it on one knee grunting. "Fatal Cross!" He shot a cross of light at the target.

The Digimon moved aside and pointed a gun at him. "Quartzione!" He shot Apollomon repeatedly before he fell over.

Koh was still on the ground as he reached to his friend. "Apollomon…"

"Koh of Light Fang." the mysterious Digimon said. "You've been exposed to Chrono before but not any more than those brats just now. I doubt you'll be much more help in obtaining scraps."

"What…?"

"Well, I guess I'll just have to make you and your partner my puppets and see if she'll come. You two are pretty close after all." His hand glowed purple as he reached towards Apollomon and Koh.

"W-what are you…?" Koh's gaze became fixated on the light.

"Uh… ah…" Apollomon's eyes started to turn dark.

"Leave them alone!"

The Digimon looked up to see Sayo run at him and Dianamon flew towards him. He drew a sword and blocked her weapon before they bounced off each other. "Oh, ho! At last, you arrive Sayo of Night Crow!"

Koh and Apollomon slumped as the Digimon's actions to them ceased. "Koh, are you alright?!" Sayo asked.

"Uh… Sayo…"

"That boy and his partner were more entertaining than the rest of this world's rabble. But he's still not Takuto or Shiki."

"Who?" Sayo asked. "What do you want from me anyway? Who are you?"

The Digimon took off his hat and bowed. "I am Boltboutamon. And I have come in search of a special program that only exists in this Digital World. YMIR ring any bells?"

"YMIR?" Sayo gasped.

"How do you know about that?!" Dianamon asked.

BoltBoutamon smirked putting his hat back on. "I've made a point to research every reality I discover."

Sayo put a hand on her hip. "Well, I guess you didn't study this one enough pal, because the Chrono Virus is gone!"

"You may have defeated ExoGrimmon and chased the poor, poor Chrono Core away. But Chrono data is not forever lost. You may recall after your city was attacked ChaosGallantmon and Chief Julia succumbed to the virus long after the fact. This proves that fragments of Chrono still exist within the infected even when they aren't being controlled by it." Boltboutamon looked at Koh. "Even this boy and your other friends have lingering traces from their scuffles with Grimmon and the Chrono Virus. But those traces are small and therefore difficult to extract. But there is a much stronger does of the stuff…inside you Sayo dear!" Boltboutamon said pointing at Sayo with his sword.

"What?!"

"You were infected multiple times. One of which being when Chrono reached its strongest point. You may be the most resistant to the effects, but that data still lingers within you. I need you for my research. "So be a good girl and come along nicely and nobody needs to get hurt…" Yes, that would be a good line to use here, wouldn't it?" Boltboutamon laughed. He then sheathed his sword and got into a fighting stance. "But that wouldn't be nearly as fun. I've come all this way. Let's see the strength of the "hero" of this world."

"You asked for its creep!"

"Sayo…" Koh grunted from on the ground. "Be careful… he's far stronger then Grimmon…"

"Don't worry about me Koh, you take a breather." Sayo got into a battle position. "I'll take it from here."

Dianamon pointed her weapon at Boltboutamon. "D. Mag Square!" After reducing his resistance Dianamon charged at him. BoltBoutamon caught her weapon between his hands. Dianamon grunted as she tried to push it through when she heard him laugh. She gasped noticing the giant skeletal hands coming from Boltboutamon's back before they grabbed her arms. She tried to kick Boltboutamon but he caught her ankle with one hand and held the other in front of her face. "Nightmare." A burst of darkness sent her skidding across the icy ground.

"Try getting him from behind." Sayo said.

"Okay." Dianamon charged at Boltboutamon again.

"Mach Jab!" BoltBoutamon threw a punch at her, but his target phased through him and vanished revealing to be an illusion. "Oh?"

"01 Crusher!" Dianamon struck him repeatedly from behind. She sent him airborne with an upward cut then turned around and flew up after him before spinning backwards slamming the toe of her boot into him knocking him to the ground. She charged at him again.

"Tailwind." Boltboutamon dodged her weapon as it cracked the ice he was previously standing on. He then took out his pistol. "Quartzione!" He rapid fired bullets at Dianamon who spun her weapon deflecting the shots. Boltboutamon held up his other hand. "Shadow Fall!" Black lightning struck Dianamon making her scream and drop to her knees.

"Dianamon!" Sayo gasped. "This guy has attacks I've never even heard of…!"

"Have some more!" In Boltboutamon's back right hand a black cloud formed. In the right a purple one. "Electric Cloud! Chaos Cloud!"

"Dianamon, watch out!"

Dianamon grunted as she flew over the passing clouds. "Good Night Moon!" Her boots glowed blinding Boltboutamon. He shielded his eyes looking around. When the lightshow was over, and he could see the target was gone. "Demon Slash!" She swiped her blade into him as she passed by. "Demon Slash!" She struck him again moving faster from a different angel.

"That's it, keep it up!" Sayo said.

"Demon Slash! Demon Slash!"

Boltboutamon grunted. "Okay, no more of that. Blackout!"

"Demon Slash!" Dianamon swung just after purple mist enveloped her vision. "What?!" She spun her weapon blowing the mist away, but Boltboutamon was gone by then. "Where is he?!"

Sayo looked around. "Behind you!"

"Buster Dive!" Boltboutamon slammed into her from behind. Dianamon rolled across the ground before stopping. "Heavy Rain!" A draining downpour came down on Dianamon preventing her from getting back up.

"Hang on!" Sayo used a Digi-Cure Full S on Dianamon healing her completely. Diamon got up and charged at Boltboutamon again. She got another cut before spinning around and kicking him repeatedly before twirling and ramming her other heel into his gut, sending him back.

"Ho, ho! You're pretty good! Maybe not quite on the caliber of the likes of Takuto and Shiki, but not bad at all!" Boltboutamon took out his sword. "Well… what say we wrap this up?"

"Let's do it Dianamon!" Sayo said.

"Okay!" Dianamon's weapon glowed like moonlight. "Crescent Harken!"

Boltboutamon held up his sword. "Pernicious Waltz!" Phantom copies of his sword appeared around him.

Dianamon didn't even notice until her weapon was blocked by Boltboutamon's real sword, and she found herself surrounded by blades. "What?!"

Boltboutamon laughed as the swords came down. Dianamon blocked the first three copies but after she had to block Boltboutamon swinging his real sword at her two more copies hit her. She blocked as many attacks as she could, but she couldn't stop the rain of swords with Boltboutamon wailing at her. After multiple slashes Boltboutamon punted her to the ground. "Root Bind!" As Dianamon stood back up Boltboutamon summoned roots from the ground that ensnared her arms, then her torso and finally her legs anchoring her in place at the ground.

"Dianamon!" Sayo used another Digi-Cure Full S to heal her Digimon again. With her strength restored Dianamon broke free panting after doing so.

"Oh? That old trick?" Boltboutamon asked. "You're going to repeatedly heal your Digimon and try to wear me down. Clever, but it seems like your Digimon is more winded."

"Oh yeah?" Sayo used a Digi-Mint Full S. Dianamon regained her energy and stood straight.

"I see." Boltboutamon's finger rubbed against his chin. "Well, as confident as I am I can outlast your war of attrition I am a busy man. Besides, that would be a very dull end to this scene. Hmm… what can I do to spice up the drama… Ah! I know." Boltboutamon grinned. "Evil Squeal!"

Dianamon and Sayo winced as they covered their ears at the horrible sound. When it ended and they looked up, Boltboutamon was gone. "Now where'd he go?" Sayo asked before hearing a yell. She looked to her left and saw her fellow Tamer trapped in Boltboutamon's back left fist. "Koh!"

"Not one step!" Boltboutamon declared as he holding his sword and firearm in each hand pointing both at Koh bringing Sayo to a halt just as she started sprinting. "If you don't want the boy to get hurt, you will do as I say."

"You coward!" Dianamon snarled.

"So, here's how this is going to work Sayo. You're going to put your partner back into your Digivice. Then you'll pass it to me and get onto your knees with your hands behind your head."

"Sayo, don't do it!" Koh yelled struggling in Boltboutamon's grip. "Just clobber this jerk!"

"Aren't you brave. But while you clearly don't think much of your life, I imagine Sayo feels differently."

Sayo gritted her teeth. Dianamon looked at her frustrated partner. "Sayo…"

The Tamer sighed and looked at her Digimon. "I'm sorry…"

Dianamon smiled. "Don't be. I know you always do what you think is right."

"Thank you Dianamon." Sayo held her Digivice towards Dianamon and her Digimon was absorbed into it. Sayo tossed her Digivice and it slid on the ice towards Boltboutamon. "There." She glared at him as she got down on her knees and put her hands behind her head. "Happy now?"

Boltboutamon smirked. "That's a good girl."

"Sayo!" Koh shouted. "Are you crazy?! Forget about me!"

Sayo smiled sadly. "Don't be a dummy Koh, you know I can't do that."

"Well, isn't that sweet!" Boltboutamon laughed. He dropped Koh onto the ground and pointed his gun at Sayo. "Now you Koh, you will do just as I instructed with Sayo or consider me her firing squad."

Koh growled. "You monster… fine." Koh looked at his defeated Digimon. "I'm sorry Apollomon… but I can't let Sayo get hurt."

"I understand…" Apollomon replied before he was sent back to Koh's Digivice. Koh tossed it over his shoulder then got onto his knees and put his hands behind his head.

"Wonderful." Boltboutamon smirked. "Alright ladies, dress these kids up for their field trip." He snapped his fingers. Two LadyDevimon flew in too fast for either human to follow laughing as they flew circles around them. Before either of them knew it both Sayo and Koh were lying on the ground hogtied in chains. Both grunted as they were hoisted off the ground by the cold metal restraining them.

Sayo looked at Boltboutamon who picked up their Digivices. "What are you going to do with our Digimon?"

"You'll see. But for now, let us be on or way." He held up his hand and a gateway appeared.

"What is that?!" Koh asked.

"A gateway. To a Parallel World."

Sayo gasped. "What…?"

"Yes, I heard you were familiar with the subject Sayo." Boltboutamon laughed. "Now then, off we go. We have so much to do and discuss…" Boltboutamon casually walked through the gateway. Sayo and Koh thrashed in the chains tying them as the two LadyDeviamon carried them through, taking them away from the world they called home.

Sayo sighed as she finished recalling those events. "What he did to Dianamon and Apollomon… I still remember how painful it looked…"

"You shouldn't have surrendered to that guy!" Koh said. "You could have beaten him!"

Sayo glared at him. "Hey, I didn't ask you to surrender for me either!"

"Well how could I not after you did that for me?!"

Sayo sighed and stared at the ceiling. "Ugh, forget it… I don't feel like arguing over this…"

Koh sighed. "Yeah… me neither… this is the pits."

The teleporter in the room activated, and in came Hosaka with three Puppetmon. "You two, a word."

"You got the Chrono Data from us what more do you want?" Sayo growled.

"I have told your chiefs my demands for your safety and before the transaction I want a better understanding of Union's wealth of finances and Digimon research so I can make sure they don't try to withhold from me. So, you're going to tell me how much the Union's worth."

"Dream on." Koh spat. "We're not doing anything to jeopardize Union City, especially not for a jerk like you."

"I thought you'd say that." Hosaka turned to the Puppetmon. "They're all yours, boys. Use any methods you see fit, but don't kill them. I need them both alive for my deal with their bosses."

"Not a problem!" one of the Puppetmon saluted.

"We got just the thing!" another said holding up a finger.

The third one chuckled. "This'll be fun!"

"Yeah, yeah, you kids have fun. I got unwanted guests to prepare for." Hosaka waved casually as he turned around and exited the portal.

The Puppetmon all ran over to the control console for the tables Sayo and Koh were strapped to. "Does this thing have what we need?"

"Don't worry, I snuck in here one night and made the modifications."

"Oh goody!" One of the Puppetmon snickered at Sayo and Koh. "You're not going to tell us what the boss wants to know any time soon are you?"

"We'll never tell you!" Sayo glared.

"Yay! That means the fun never ends!" One of the Puppetmon started pressing keys.

Sayo and Koh shuddered as their tables tilted forward lifting them upright. "What are you going to do to us…?" Koh shivered.

"You really want to know?" one of the Puppetmon snickered.

"Really, REALLY want to know?" another asked.

"Should we tell them?" the third one asked.

The other two went over and started whispering in Sayo and Koh's ears. "…You can't be serious." Sayo gulped.

The Puppetmon at the panel pressed a button. Holes on the floor opened up around Sayo and Koh and the devices that would torment them appeared. "No… stay away!" Koh tilted his head away.

"Stop it!" Sayo shrieked. The three Puppetmon started laughing over Sayo and Koh's cries and screams.

A tall dark tower stood before Takumi, Ami, Shiki, Takuto, Fie, Keisuke, Hudiemon, and the members of Hudie's Dream as they hid in the trees nearby. "Any minute now…" Hudiemon said. A Monitamon hurried over. "Welcome back. What did you find?"

The Montiamon's TV face showed what he viewed. "The exterior of the building is pretty solid. But I did detect a hidden door in the back." It showed a panel on the side of the wall.

"Then that will be our ticket in once our diversion is in place." Shiki said.

"I'm looking forward to wiping that smug look off of Hosaka's face." Fei grinned cracking her knuckles.

"Just remember we need him alive to help Alphamon." Ami said.

"Don't worry. I'll just beat him to an inch of his life."

"Don't forget, Sayo and Koh are inside." Takumi said. "We're not leaving without them."

"Then we better move now." Takuto said. "We don't have much longer until Hosaka's ransom deadline."

"Agreed." Hudiemon nodded. "I will lead the strike at the front door. Once we draw out their main force you guys will sneak into that back door."

Yuuko and the others were gathered in front of the teleporter. "Yuuko, Yuugo, you and the Ten Legendary Warriors are going back to Connect Jungle. I'm sending you a list of materials we need."

Yuuko looked at her Digivice. "Got it."

"Nokia, Himari, Kouta, you three are going with Leomon, WarGrowlmon, Silphymon and his Commandermon squad to Drive Canyon. I'll send you your list."

"That's where Takumi and I found Shoma and Mameo, right?" Nokia asked.

Shoma nodded. "Yeah."

Mameo smiled. "Heh. Almost feels like yesterday when you two saved us there."

"Once we find the materials return here immediately." Mirei said. "With so much of this world under control of the Next Order we don't know what's safe anymore."

"Let's get going then." Silphymon said. "The sooner we get the city flying the better."

"I agree." Leomon nodded.

Mercurymon was at the control panel for the teleporter and a gate opened. "Portal to Drive Canyon is open."

"Alright, we'll be back as soon as possible." Kouta said leaving with his group.

"Stay safe, you guys!" Luche waved.

Once they all went through Mercurymon changed the portal. "Shall we get going?"

"Be careful." Darcmon said. "We don't know when or where the Next Order troops will be lurking about."

"We'll be back soon." Yuuko said walking towards the portal. "Let's move out."

Yuuko's team appeared in Connect Jungle. "Back here again." Yuuko said. "It feels like my fate is bound to this place."

"I hear you." Yuugo nodded.

"If I may offer a suggestion." Agunimon said as he stopped the group. "I think it would be best to split up and search."

"I agree." Samudramon nodded. "This jungle is huge. And we shouldn't spend longer here then need be."

"Okay." Yuugo said. "Let's go in three groups. I'll stick with Yuuko. Agunimon will go with Lobomon, Kumamaon, Kazemon and Bettlemon. Grumblemon will go with Arboromon, Ranemon, Mercurymon and Loweemon."

Yuuko looked at her Digivice. "Let's go over what we need again. Mirei said to look for three samples of DigiRainbowdrop, four pieces of DigiStarwood, two pieces of DigiRuby, and a sample of Red Digizoit."

"Those are some rare items." Kumamon said. "Finding them will be hard…"

"We'll find em." Kazemon said. "Come on guys, keep your spirits up."

"Mirei is 100% sure we'll find what we need here." Yuugo said. "Let's meet back here in this clearing in half an hour."

"Roger that." Agunimon said. "Begin search." The party split into two groups and left in a hurry.

Sayo and Koh's rescue ain't all the next chapter or two will be about. But next week the operation begins as the Kamishiro's have an unexpected encounter.
