Disclaimer: Pokemon is owned by the Nintendo, Hakunon/Fate is owned by the all-powerful Mushroom(Nasu), and all that stuff.

Hakuno sighed, at least this happened after Melvin left she had no idea how to explain this situation with Nomia slackjawed staring at the Holographical Form of the Mythical.

"I know you can hear me!"

"Hello."

"Hi! Not responding in my home is really rude you know! I'm practically your Mother and you ignored meeeeeee."

"Sorry?" She tilted her head, the little hologram of Celebi twirled around, facing them. She can honestly say that this encounter was something she had no idea how to handle. And what was that about being her mom!?

"Ah! Much better! Little human! I missed you! Your device is annoying! Manipulating Psychic-Type energy and mixing it with Infinity Energy like this is sooooo creative! I wish I would have thought about that when I sent Akari or Sam home!" The projection hugged her or at least tried to, it was still made of light so she couldn't actually feel it.

This had to be… the weirdest first call in the history of phone calls.

Hakuno was unsure how to respond, "Tinkatink…?"

"Ooo" Celebi's projection came closer, "Is this… THIS IS! AHhhhhhh!" The Celebi squealed, "I was going to ask the Pichu siblings to help you get your partner! Drat! Bleh, going back and changing events will take too much energy. Your dreaded machine makes things difficult."

"My… Portable Terminal was giving you problems?"

"Yeah!"

"Negative, protecting the Designated Victor from Temporal interference is a routine procedure that can not be terminated."

"Shut it! It took like 10 of me to fill out those forms! I had to learn a whole new language!"

"What has been dubbed by Humanity as the Proto-Human Language is the language that The Photonic Abyss assisted the first of Mankind in learning."

"Gah! Whatever! Little Child, can you please make it nicer?"

Hakuno… wasn't sure that her Terminal didn't already have a form of Personality it was talking back to a sort of God, but if it was insistent…

"What do you think Nomia? How should the Terminal act?"

Nomia's eyes flickered to her, "Tinka? Ti?"

"Darn it! This machine can't even emulate her voice, right? I can't understand!" Celebi was… throwing a fit? Should she be scared for her life? "Ah, whatever! Pick something that will let me chat whenever I want!"

Hakuno sighed as she sat down, Nomia crawled into her lap and they both ignored the squeal from Celebi. She had thought long about it, but now that the Portable Terminal was beginning to obtain its own Personality things slowly were slightly different.

She still needed the device to help with Medical aspects, both of them were hopeless in it. Maybe a variant of Sakura's Personality? She shivered at that, she had no clue why but she just knew it would be bad news with how the Terminal is developing and its well.

Sass.

Maybe it was the influence of Type Energy being fed to it, but the device was certainly growing. Maybe, well in the distant future, it might develop a life of its own. Would it become a Porygon? She couldn't imagine it being a 'normal' Pokemon…She wasn't sure if there were any other Mechanical or Digital Pokemon…

"What would you two recommend? I am mainly worried about Medical issues and getting lost." The whole 'training' aspect of being a 'Trainer' felt like something she and Nomia could learn their way through.

But being good at directions was… not something she was graced with.

Celebi huffed and glared downwards at the Terminal.

"Filtering… Filtering… Heroic Spirit List and basic AI Personalities that meet your request compiled, please choose."

A long stream of names appeared she recognized some but she hadn't put her everything into discovering every last Heroic Spirit. The names flickered again and again as the list grew smaller and smaller before stopping.

Locusta, Nightingale, Xu Fu, Ptolemaios, Leonardo Da Vinci, Ä̵̭́e̴̤̔s̴̜̾c̶̣̉, Basic_Administrative Type 2, Priest_K̴̹̑ò̴̱t̴͕͌ȍ̴͉m̸͙̀í̸̙n̷̹̎ḙ̷́, Sakura_Type 1… Celebi.

Ignoring how Kotomine and 'Aesc' were glitching, Celebi was an option?

"Of course! I knew when form 251 requested a sample of my Ligule it was to copy me! But ha! Little Child pick me! I know this Region like the back of my hand!"

Hakuno glanced down at Nomia this was a large choice to make, "Tin tinka." Nomia shrugged and nodded.

Well, what's the worst that can happen?

"Alright, Celebi… if you would like to join us?" The Portable Terminal began to turn its inner blue light into green.

"Ah wait!" The light paused. "Alright, how about this! Let's make a deal! Not as a Personality, but," The holographic Celebi twirled, "You will deal with the fancy technical stuff I deal with the Pokemon and Emotional Stuff! I will leave a temporal part of me and it will be the real me when I check in! So it won't be me me but a me you get me?"

Hakuno didn't have a clue anymore.

But pretending she understood things better than she did was a part of her, "Alright?"

"Sweet! Ok, you heard her you dumb machine! We both live in this device so scoot over!"

"Proposition accepted, Entering Sleep Mode." The two colors inside her PT began to swirl slowly, the faintest tips of them becoming Aquamarine.

Hakuno closed her eyes, "Nomia?"

"Ti?"

"I'm already tired for the day."

"Tinkatink."

Hakuno and Nomia watched the dancing colors for a bit longer, but seeing how slow the two colors were fusing they decided to just head out.

She was concerned when she saw a flash of light off in the distance and a boom of thunder but when she found what might have been a fallen branch or a giant vine smoldering on the side of the road she wasn't as concerned.

Nomia prodded the burnt vine, before slinging it over her shoulder. Hakuno nodded as they could finally see the trees starting to clear up, the sun finally shining brilliantly on their path.

She could even see a small building barely out of the forest somewhat hidden by the trees, a few people meandered around it, a small constant flow of people entering and exiting, most heading towards the way she was intending while a few were heading towards her to visit Ilex Woods./

"Come on Nomia, lets-"

"I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!" Hakuno glanced at the short-looking boy yelling as he held out one arm with a Red and White Pokeball pointing at her. He had a cocky grin on his face and well.

He looked like a little kid. Was he even old enough for his license?

"What?"

"Our eyes have met, that means we must battle!"

"No?"

The boy slumped for a split second before pointing the ball again at her, "What are you scared?"

Nomia pulled on her leg, "Tinkatink." She slung off the vine leaving it at her feet, "Tinka!" Hakuno rolled her eyes, seems like it will go the way the little Tinkatink wants. She was getting a bit more relaxed about these… fights.

"Alright!" The boy pumped his fist, "Come on out!" The ball was tossed forward and… "Mankeyusescratch!"

"Man Mankey!" A small monkey appeared, its circular body covered in white hair the only parts of its face visible were the small pig snout nose and its beady red eyes.

The Mankey was already angry and charging at Nomia.

But its anger was just pathetic compared to Julius's.

"Nomia, Fairy Wind." The boy was taken off guard at her calmness, the winds whipped around the little Fae before she charged into it. The glitter-infused wind made the Mankey howl in pain. "When close us Quash, slow it down."

"Keep going for it!" The boy's scream got the Pokemon to focus before it charged again futilely. "Show that pink thing whose boss!"

She could hear the huff from Nomia as the Mankey's claws raked against her chest piece taking her time the dark energy was weaved and before the Mankey could pull back its paw the Dark-Type move landed causing the Mankey to become slightly lethargic.

"Claw." Nomia shifted her hammer as it slammed into the Small Monkey's gut with enough force to knock it back a few feet, the Mankey began to shout its name before falling onto its back, seemingly knocked out.

Huh.

Much easier than the Houndour…

The boy's eyes welled up with tears, and an older man nearby laughed as he picked up his Mankey and ran into the building nearby. Hakuno leaned down and fished out a small Oran Berry and Nomia greedily ate the small blue orange.

"Ah don't mind the kid," Her eyes darted towards the man, "Kids been chatting up a storm ever since he came down from town, he thinks he's a hotshot for getting that Mankey from his siblin'. Somethin' bout his brother bein apprenticin at ole Chuck's den of misfits makes him think he's a hotshot." Hakuno gave the older man a nod.

He was wearing a green half-shirt with the same color cap and boots with a solid black undershirt and pants… he also had a long rope attached to one of his Pokeballs for some reason. Did he lose it often? Then again, seeing how people typically throw them, maybe he didn't have good aim.

She knew she wasn't the best at tossing them either but Nomia's Friend Ball always recalled back to her hand whenever she actually did, which was rare because the little Smith liked to walk beside her.

"Quiet kid ain'tcha? No matter," The man shrugged, "How's ole Ilex lookin? My Partner was sent to make sure everythin's all nice and dandy for the new circuit, anythin bad happen?"

Hakuno gave him a light shrug, "Quiet, a few Carnivines." Not to mention the little Mouse that may or may not have been one of the 'Pichu' brothers Celebi mentioned. Or the whole fact that a version of Celebi is sort of in her pocket right now.

"Good, if ya survived 'em then they won't need a relocation effort, the nastier ones typically hide deeper in than the ole Woodsworth path anyhows. They usually knows better."

"Tin Tinkatink." Hakuno's sleeve was pulled, "Tink." She sighed.

"No, no picking fights." The little Gnome looked dejected as the man broke out in laughter.

"Sorry little one, ma team would probably punt ya back to the forest. Ole Sagey don't like kids too much and Wiggles is downright viscous in fights. But there should be a few more kids your size on your way to town."

"How far?" She could faintly see the town on the horizon, but the sun was fairly high in the sky at the moment.

"Ya should reach it before sunset, bout an hour or three walk. We Rangers set up a few outposts near the danger zones, and while that ole Prankster riles up these woods somethin' fierce-" His eyes darted towards a young man running towards him with a heavily injured large yellow duck. "Sorry kiddo, got a job to do, you be safe ya hear?" Not many people went to help the boy other than the Ranger who quickly took him into the shack.

But… it was his job to help people, and she felt he knew what he was doing.

She did mull over his words, a lot of possible trainers… While the kid didn't bet any money it might be something they need to do…

Money was needed for survival. They had enough to get to Cianwood without it being a big problem, but for their… journey afterward it might be a bit tight. More so if another Pokemon joins their little group.

They had about three days to explore Palmpona and maybe take a job or two, if she listened to Nomia then she might just be fighting all day or scrounging for Scrap Metal…

Hakuno crouched down it still felt strange she had to be more… grown up in these situations, it was a quaint thing to be the one leading. While she led her Beloved Rose in their acts of Survival and fighting this… felt different it was something she couldn't describe.

"We will get a room, rest of for today, and spend tomorrow looking around town, a day to do some training and battling, and the final day before we leave to take it easy with a job or two."

Nomia frowned, tapping her hammer with one hand, "We can look for a scrapyard as well when we get there." Nomia gave her a wide smile and nodded enthusiastically. Hopefully, they have a scrapyard of sorts, would ports have them and if so wouldn't they mostly be rusted?

Eh, Nomia might still be happy anyway.

"Nomia, Metal Claw." Her hammer scraped the ground and aimed at the little pink demon.

"Copycat!" With a finger wave, her hammer's Steel was met with her opponent's silver-colored paw, she inwardly groaned as the Pokemon pushed and her Steel was being pushed back. They still hurt each other but it wasn't enough.

This Demon! Was annoying at a distance she admitted she was no match, her Fairy Wind was easily overpowered by the snow the Smoochum could summon, and her insistent use of Copying her Metal Claw somehow gave her just enough oomph to stop her hammer from getting her good.

She eyed the Ice-type with as much venom as an Ekans. She slowly moved closer to the rock, they were only a few feet apart but she had a good gut feeling about what the next order will be.

"Powder Snow Crystal!" The Pink Demon blew out a large amount of wet sloppy cold snow. She didn't need to hear her Boss's orders and whirled a Fairy Wind to slow it down.

"Hm… Astonish." She grinned maliciously, rolling under the rock she felt the ghostly wisps guide her as she popped in front of a malicious amount of black smoke spreading from her face as the Ghost-Type energy worked its magic.

"Fuck!" The Smoochum fell back its eyes going white with fear as it passed out. Hehe, she loved that move.

This was the second battle today Boss had let her have, although it was much closer than that … Mankey? Or was it a Rattata? Certainly weak enough to have been one. She grinned as Boss gave her back the vine. She hated those annoying Carnivines, too slippery, and liked to gang up on them.

Next time will be different!

First, she will eat the vine! Then She will beat them up!

"Darn, I thought I had you." Her opponent disappeared in a flash of red light, "But, a bet's a bet." Her eyes gleamed as her Boss accepted a small handful of coins from the Trainer Girl.

"Thank you. You are good." Heh, that was a lie she kicked their butt!

"Eh, just passing time, seeing the world a bit before I go back to school my little one needs to Evolve for work and all." The girl gave her Boss a grin, "But thank you. I gotta get Crystal checked out by Matt, maybe I'll see you around Palmpona my parents own a small ice cream shop on Fourth Street if you wanna visit?"

The boss gave the girl a light shrug, "Maybe, staying in town for a few days. Cruise to Cianwood." Boss tilted her head slightly and the girl mumbled something she didn't care to listen to. She huffed, pulling on Boss's extra large sleeve.

Her chestnut eyes glazed over to her before she pulled out a Leppa berry from one of her many pockets and handed it to her, she quickly stuffed her cheeks full of the berry goodness. It wasn't as good as her Aspear but it was still tasty and was rejuvenating a bit of energy. She did wish it was in a drink though, maybe she can convince her to add berries to the apricorn blends they've been less sour than she liked…

Maybe them not being sour was revenge for her putting some bitter-smelling purple flowers in her sleeping bag.

But Boss was the child of Celebi, a human coming from a Pokemon wasn't something she thought possible, but Celebi was a Myth a Legend they could do what they wanted. One day she will get that strong!

Although, she was still curious… what was a scrapyard?

Author's Notes: Well! Nothing exciting happening in this chapter, nope nothing at all. Anyways, Hakuno's basically in town! The next chapter will be a bit of ~ Town Time ~ Something I love in Gen2 games is the walking Pokemon, I really think all games should have had them, but alas things didn't go that path.

Little Nomia is getting a bit of a big head, constant winning will do that to a young one...

Anyways~
