The two of them stretched in silence. It oddly wasn't heavy considering when the two of them were usually in the same room it was never quiet. No words were needed as the two competitive idiots prepared for their little early morning sparring match.

"No quirks," Sakaki said simply.

Bakugou simply nodded his head and did not argue. Usually he would but with the woman's quirk it honestly wouldn't be much of a fair fight. He would never admit the chance she could drop him if she really wanted to before he could blow her up was high. But the biggest issue was the training room was not properly ventilated for a gas related quirk like hers. She could not only flood the room, but the entire agency if she released enough of her quirk and for long enough. And that would not be good if everyone in the agency and everyone who entered it during the day would fall asleep. And the one person who would not fall asleep would end up too drunk to be able to get everyone out and fully deal with the issue.

So when she announced the fight would be without quirks all he did was ever so slightly nod his head and give her a slight huff. He wasn't that stupid or pigheaded as to argue, especially about something he would be wrong about. Moving out among the training mats Bakugou took one side while Sakaki took the other side.

"Ready, go," Bakugou called out before he watched the young woman take off. She was incredibly fast, even Bakugou could not deny that the woman used her small, lean build to her advantage. She may not have had the same amount of brute strength as he did. But he also knew the woman's hits could still hurt. But those were not his actual concerns. Her speed was what he needed to watch. That and where she hit him.

Sakaki did not hold back and she knew with a large opponent like Bakugou she needed to aim for soft tissue spots. The man was, after all, all muscle. And hitting straight muscles would hurt. She aimed for under his jaw in the first hit but she knew he would dodge the attack. What she was waiting for was to see if he swung out with his right hook. He didn't. Instead it was a left hook but that was still fine. Dodging it was easy as she sidestepped the punch. Grabbing onto the wrist he had thrown out, she used his arm to throw herself up as her right foot flew out to try and hit the side of his head with her foot. His right hand though was quick to grab her ankle before she could allow her hit to connect. Instead Bakugou was throwing her around like a rag doll.

This was something she needed to work on, she needed to perform that move faster. If Bakugou was a true opponent they could be smashing her into the ground. Instead he just threw her across the mats. She was quick to throw her hands under herself and throw herself back to her feet before Bakugou was now coming for her. Now it was her turn to be on the defensive. And she needed to be a lot more careful. If his hits collided with her it would hurt. And real attacks would not take much to actually do real damage to her. So she let Bakugou come for her. The advantage she had was that Bakugou was a real creature of habit.

His attacks were very predictable. His fists had always been his go to weapons. Maybe it was due to his quirks being attached to his palms? He was used to throwing his hands or fists around as he fought in order to blow his targets away with his explosions. She knew to watch him closely though the man was fast, it took a good bit of strength for her to dodge each attack.

The second she saw an opening she threw out her own attacks. She tried to aim to send her palm into the bottom of his jaw. She didn't want to actually punch him, that stupid hard head of his would probably break her hand. She also tried to remember she had knees. Trying to slam her left knee into his gut, Bakugou's large hand blocked her knee with ease. If anything she almost winced at the pain. It was like kneeing a brick wall.

This match though the two seemed pretty evenly matched. Then again it didn't take long before the pair were just swapping light hits. The competitive nature had died down. Now the two were simply having their own dance. Bodies moving in fluid motions as the two worked their ways across the mats till both were panting and sweating.

The heavy scent of a burning campfire had filled the room. Sakaki had put her scent blockers on. Back to the habit of wearing them while being out and about. The reminder of what had happened over the weekend still weighed heavy on her mind. And the fact that sidekicks were still roaming around meant that others could potentially smell her. And although she had not worried about it before, it did now sit in her mind.

"You're slowing down," Bakugou called her out. He had noticed her mind was not actually focused on him any more.

"It's fine," she huffed before the blonde gave her a grunt and proceeded to then flip her over onto her back the second he had a chance to grab her. She had not expected to be grabbed and tossed around. Even though the mats were softer than hitting the hard floor, they were still far from soft as her back collided with them. The air in her lungs rushed out of her as she laid there letting out a weak cough as she tried to force her body to start functioning again.

"Pull your head out of your ass. What happened over the weekend is in the past. Don't let it affect your work," was he trying to give her a pep talk or was he scolding her? She really wasn't sure when it came to him.

"I am well aware. I do not need your reminder thank you very much," she growled softly to herself as she slowly pushed herself to sit up as she glared down at the floor. She could feel Bakugou's eyes boring into her.

"And yet you're letting it affect you," he growled back. As he crossed his arms over his chest. He was right and they both knew it. But she refused to admit it.

"Shut up and just fight," she said as she started to climb to her feet only to watch the blonde turn his back to her and was walking away.

"Hey where the hell are you going?" The dark haired woman called as she climbed to her feet as the blonde paused for only a second to look back over his shoulder at her.

"I have no interest in sparring with someone who can not remain focused," he said simply over his shoulder before he continued off the training mats and was heading over towards one of the punching bags. Leaving Sakaki to scramble to her feet in order to follow after him.

"Are you running from a fight Bakugou?" she asked as she watched him start to wrap his hands.

"I never run from a fight," He growled at her. But they both knew she was just trying to poke the bear, "But where's the fun in fighting someone who is not giving it their all?"

Well that sounded a little familiar. Even if Bakugou had matured a lot since their days as first years in high school it seemed some things still did not completely change. And if there was one thing the blonde alpha hated. It was winning a fight he did not feel he actually won. To him it wasn't a fair win if his opponent does not give their all. And that applied to sparring and training matches as much as it did with any other competition. It was often seen as Bakugou simply being too competitive but in some way Sakaki could understand. What good was training if you were not trying to better yourself or your training partner? What is the use then? Sure the blonde was still competitive but it could be understandable to her why he is the way he is.

It didn't help either that Bakugou was right. Though she would never admit it willingly. The little attack over the weekend was still sitting heavy over her shoulders and on her mind. It wasn't the so-called attack itself that was still upsetting her but the way she had been treated by those afterwards. Had Bakugou not been with her she could only imagine how much worse her visit to the police station would have been. And her hero status would not have made any difference. If anything alone it may have been worse. An omega hero should know better. She should be setting a better example to other omega hero's to not do such things that could get them attacked by some poor out of control alpha. Though that was a load of shit, alphas should learn to control themselves just as well. A true alpha would know how to control themselves.

Like Bakugou. He could be around her with little issues. He never forced himself on her, even when she had gone into heat at the agency. He had driven her home and had she not begged him to stay with her he probably wouldn't not have. He also never claimed her during those days together. And she could only imagine his instincts had been screaming at him to do it too. Hers sure as hell had been. Even now as she stood back and watched him proceed to beat on the punching bag she could feel herself shiver and lick her lips. Bakugou was a prime example of the perfect alpha, and any omega would be lucky to have him. Her own instincts were screaming in her head to walk over to him, rip off her scent patches and proceed to scent the man to remind everyone that he was hers.

But Sakaki pushed back those thoughts as fast as they had appeared. Bakugou was not hers and she was not his. Though she still wasn't sure what exactly to call what they had. Friends with benefits? People who argued and then fuck? She was not entirely too sure and she wasn't sure she wanted to actually sit down and think it over for fear of how she knows she will over think the matter. No it was best she simply pushed those thoughts aside for the time being.

"So any word yet on Taoka Kazuo?" Sakaki asked, deciding that talking work was probably the safest thing to talk about at the moment. It was a nice way to get her mind off of the annoying thoughts that were filling her mind and instead focus on something that would not send her into a spiral of either horniness or depression. She watched a deep crimson eye glance over at her as he continued to attack the punching bag as if it had personally offended him with said question.

"No. He's been in hiding since we were ambushed during the stake out of his warehouse. Bastards working hard to keep himself away from the eyes of hero's after everything," Bakugou growled softly as he whaled on the punching bag.

"Has Ono Yamato said anything more since his arrest?" She was curious about the man that attacked her while she was out with Sasara and Hatori. She could see the blonde's shoulders tense up a little more and his swings hesitated for a second, she could tell that the subject of that grease ball was apparently a touchy subject to the blonde. But she was still curious to know what had been happening behind closed doors. After all she had been a little bit busy lately with everything life has been throwing her way.

"No. Bastard has been keeping his trap shut. He hasn't said a word since his arrest. And I don't imagine he will say anything," Bakugou huffed out before he gave one final hit to the poor punching bag that had to put up with his abuse.

Sakaki frowned softly at the words. That was not what she wanted to hear. She had really hoped that greasy slime ball would have rolled over and snitched on his boss. But maybe the man had some guts to him if he didn't just roll over.

"Then what's the plan? Are we going to start looking at other warehouses? Start actually looking for Taoka? Clearly we are not getting anywhere. Why don't you just ask for more assistance. Fat Gum specializes in this kind of stuff. Why not reach out to his agency?" she asked after all it was clear that this mission was giving them some issues. Though she hated to admit something that should be so simple was making them all look like idiots at this moment. And by the growl that had come from Bakugou at her words she could imagine that he was just as unhappy about their lack of progress as she was. She never knew she was slightly wrong. Though Bakugou was unhappy with being made a fool of, he also had a part of him that did not want to catch the man they were hunting. If he did then the mission would be done, and she would return to her agency. And that reminder had Bakugou's gut twist in an uncomfortable way. Which only fueled his poor mood at the moment.

"We do not need to ask anyone else for help," Bakugou had snapped at her. Which really had not surprised her. She expected that outburst from him.

"Alright then what are we going to do then smart ass?" Sakaki asked back with an arch of an eye brow as she watched the blonde pull his top lip back in a snarl as he flashed his fangs though he wasn't actually looking at her so it was clear it was not specifically her that he was mad at.

"We will go out on patrol like normal. Wait till Kirishima gets in for his shift and we will then sit down and have a meeting, ask some of the sidekicks what they had seen today and over the weekend and we will figure out a new plan," the blonde finally said after a minute of pause before he answered her. Huh well that was a very mature answer. And really not one she could argue with.

"Alright, well I'm gonna go shower. Meet you in the lobby for our patrol," she called out not so much an order, nor was it a question. It was simply a statement. She told him exactly what she planned to do. Whether he would make her wait in the lobby was another thing but she didn't care. She planned to enjoy a nice hot shower before getting ready for her patrol.

The hot shower was wonderful on her body as she tried to wash away her worries. It may not have worked as much as she would have liked but the hot water had still helped to loosen her tight muscles. Once she felt she couldn't stay under the hot water any longer she got out and proceeded to slip on her hero costume. The suit hugged her body like a second skin. She could remember how self conscious she had felt at first while wearing it. Even now she sometimes wonders if it was too much sometimes. But it's not the same body shame she felt at first. She now had little shame showing off the curvy body her omega status gave her.

With fresh scent blockers applied to her neck and wrists she walked out of the women's locker room and headed for the front little lobby where the really nice little old beta receptionist was working away at her desk. Sakaki flashed the woman a warm smile as she walked into the area before looking around for Bakugou. She didn't have to look around for him, it was clear with how quiet it was that the loud blonde had not beat her to the lobby even after her extra long hot shower.

She could hear the front door of the agency open before two hero's walked in. One beta sidekick by the looks of him, while the other was a slightly familiar face. Oh yeah that pompous asshole alpha that she had worked one night shift with. He instantly frowned at her while the sidekick gave her a soft smile. Archaic was the alphas' hero name. She never did learn his civilian name but she didn't care. She found her back straightening and her jaw being stuck out. She did not care if that posture could be seen by some as an aggressive stance. She wouldn't hesitate to fight the man who was glaring at her. All while the poor sidekick was unaware of the unspoken battle the two heroes were having as they starred one another down.

"Good morning Pandora. Are you and Dynamite about to head out for your patrol?" the poor oblivious beta called to her as he greeted her. At least she had the ability to plaster on a face smile as she pulled her glare from the alpha to look over at the man who had nicely greeted her.

"Yes and surprisingly I even beat him out of the locker rooms," She said with a light playful giggle as she watched the sidekick give a good chuckle. Though the alpha with them did not seem to find her little teasing funny.

"Well at least you listen to someone," Was the other hero's rather snarky remark. Was that a jab at Bakugou being able to keep her on a leash? Was he still butt hurt that on their patrol she had kind of ditched him to hide among the shadows and be left alone? What an ass.

Sakaki could feel a growl rumble in her chest as she looked up at the older alpha. She did not care if the other hero was older and more experienced than she was. How dare he imply that she was someone's bitch.

"Are you trying to imply something?" She asked bluntly as her smile fell and she felt her chest rumbling with a growl. It was all she could do not to instantly pull her lips back and snarl a challenge at the older hero.

"Not at all it's just nice to see you do not always just go off and do whatever you please," The man said as he slipped his glasses a little further up his nose as he spoke. That was a load of shit. He had totally just implied that she was Bakugou's bitch and that he could keep her on a leash. Oh she wanted to punch him. No scratch that she was going to punch him. She took a step closer, her lips now pulling back to snarl a challenge at the alpha.

"Say that again I dare you. Open your mouth and see what that gets you," She was just daring him to test her patients some more. She has had a crappy last two days and she was not in any sort of mood to deal with an alpha that did not realize that omega he was sneering at could put him on his ass before he knew what happened to him.

"Go ahead Archaic, say something else to her. But I will not stop her for what she does to you for opening that damn mouth of yours," A new voice had all three of them jump and turn towards Bakugou who was making his way over towards the small group.

The alpha looked far more unsure now as his dark eyes flickered between Sakaki who was standing tall before him just waiting for the man to open his mouth so she could take a swing at him. Sakaki whipped her head to look over at the blonde who was still adjusting his gauntlet around his arms as he was walking towards the small group who looked like they were about to start a fight in the middle of his lobby.

"I was simply making an observation," The man said, looking over at the blonde and now ignoring her.

"Observation my ass," She growled and was about ready to put this asshole in his place.

"If you are all done being dumb asses. Archaic, VooDoo. If you two are done with your patrol then go do some paperwork if you're not tired enough. Pandora, I expect you are ready for out patrol," those were the orders Bakugou gave out as he watched the omega and alpha glare down one another before finally both taking a set back as both parties gave him a yes sir and without another work the dark haired man and the poor sidekick at his side stepped around Sakaki and headed towards the locker rooms to she assumed get out of their hero gear.

"Can you try to not pick fights with other heroes in the middle of the lobby? At least take it to a training room next time," Bakugou was scolding her as he walked towards her.

"Not my fault your employee is a fucking asshole," She growled but it seemed that Bakugou did not feel like actually arguing with her, or maybe he agreed with her? She was not sure as the two fell into step side by side as they left the agency and started down the street towards their designated route.
