McKenzie POV: My mom, dad, and I, were all sitting at the table, about to eat, when the doorbell rang. "Can you go get that, honey?" Mom asks Dad. He sighs and starts to walk to the door. As he opens it we hear a noise like water pouring on the floor. Followed by a deep long breath. "Mom, what's happening?" I ask "Get in the closet sweety!" she responds. I run to the closet and as I'm sitting there I leave the door slightly open so I can still see. My Dads body gets flung onto the table as my Mom stares in horror. She turns around and she puts her hand forward making this red symbol. All the sudden bullets started to fly at her but whatever was in her hand was deflecting them. A dark figure jumps forward with its hands as blades and slashes her across her chest. I put my hand over my mouth trying not to scream. She starts to breathe heavily until the thing cuts her head off. It starts to drink the oil from their bodies and rip them apart. The thing walked out the room. As soon as it was gone I ran over to my Mothers body tears pouring down my face. My fear and heartbreak turns into pure rage and things start to float in the room around me. "Mother, Father I have no idea what that thing was, but I promise I will avenge you." S POV: Everything was black when I woke up, all my memories were just a blur, but that wasn't even the worst part. There were other people here, so that meant I had to socialize. I was about to get up when I saw that I had a tail with poison in it. I also had steel wings and my arms started to change from a gun, sword, laser, electric thing, claws, and hands. I have wings, a venomous tail and weapons! That's pretty cool! My thoughts are cut short as one of the others wakes up. Great, another dummy I have to deal with. "Hey, that's not nice to call people names," he responds. "Who are you?'' I ask "Im N," he answers. "Who are you?'' he asked "none ya just kidding i'm S." I answered. "What are we doing here?" I ask "I have no idea." he answers. Yep im the only person here that isn't dumb maybe the other drone won't be an idiot. After waiting a long time, we hear noises outside and when we look outside the landing pod we see a worker drone. Everything started to fade and it was like it was just me and the drone. I couldn't hear N talking and all I knew was that I was hungry.
Nates POV: I was playing with my Mom outside until two murder drones flew down towards us. "Run Nate run!" she yells I sprint to the giant door and open it. I run inside and close it. I watch the cameras to see what's happening. She has this purple symbol in her hand and on one of her eyes. The boy murder drone throws himself at her but she dodges to the side and activates the symbol again. He floats in the air until she throws him at the other murder drone. The girl flies up to dodge the other murder drone and proceeds to launch a flurry of missiles at my Mom. She catches all of them with the symbol except for the one that lands beside her. She yells as it explodes sending her backwards she does a backflip to stop herself from falling flat on the ground. I sigh in relief until a sword sticks through her stomach making oil spill everywhere. I watch in horror as she falls to the floor oil surrounding her body. The boy murder drone had stabbed her. Before they could devour her another murder drone appears, says a couple of words and they all go flying away. The only other thing I could do is call my Dad. I sprint down the hall as fast as I can before I know I found my Dad. "Dad, I have something to tell you…" I say.
