On French soil, Apotre Luna arrived by teleportation, still with the baby in her arms. She is accompanied by Apotre Sol , Apotre Venus , Apotre Mars and Apotre Jupiter . Fortunately for Luna, there are few rodents around as it's getting late and some cottages are already closed, which is reassuring. As soon as he arrived at the market, Mercury became curious about everything and looked around. First he saw the lights, the mice of all ages and the pretty decorations. The family passed by a group singing Christmas carols such as O Holy Night , Deck The Halls or O Come All Ye Faithful . Mercury watched them sing, Luna noticed and stopped so the little one could watch and listen. The others stayed away. When the group had finished singing, the audience applauded, even the child smiled and laughed, shaking with happiness, which made Luna smile.

Luna: Do you love it, Mercury?

Mercury: Yes!

The ride resumed, and Luna and Mercury joined Sol, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. All together, they enjoyed the moment. Before heading home, they arrived at the Christmas tree, the star of the Strasbourg Christmas market, to show baby Mercury around for the very first time.

Luna: Look, Mercury. This , is a Christmas tree. See?

Seeing this, the child's eyes had never been so wide open. Speechless, Mercury admired the huge fir tree, taller than Jupiter. It was the most beauitful thing he'd ever seen in his life. Luna gently set him down so that he could take a closer look. Without taking his eyes off the tree, the little boy walked towards it, stopping as soon as he was close enough, under the tender gazes of the Solar System Apotres. Then, full of joy, Mercury ran around the tree before suddenly stopping and running towards Apotre Luna to drag her along and play with him. Since that evening, Apotre Mercury had developed a fascination for Christmas. Apotre Mars, Apotre Sol, Apotre Venus, Apotre Jupiter and Apotre Luna gradually rediscovered the holiday spirit in their hearts, something they hadn't felt for so many years because their dark thoughts had deprived them of it so terribly. This outing wasn't a bad idea after all. That same evening, back at home, Mercury couldn't sleep, and Luna held him in her arms and sang what he now called his "December lullaby". She sang him the famous song O Come All Ye faithful .

Luna: ''O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant!

O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;

Come and behold him

Born the King of Angels:

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

God of God, light of light,

Lo, he abhors not the Virgin's womb;

Very God, begotten, not created:

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.

Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation,

Sing, all ye citizens of Heaven above!

Glory to God, glory in the highest:

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

O come, let us adore Him,

Christ the Lord.''

The sweet voice of the Selenian finally lulled the baby to sleep. She placed him gently on his bed, wrapped him in his blanket, gave him a tender kiss on the forehead and left the room without making a sound.
