AFO: I was one of them. One of the first along with my brother. I'll admit...we had a tough beginning. It was a tumultuous time, and I had done many bad things. However I was only trying to protect me and my brother from the outside world.

AFO: The concept of heroes and villains was vague. But...unlike your world. I've always liked the view of the anti hero.
Toshinori 2: The anti hero.
AFO: Someone whose methods are questionable, but for the right reason. I had a dream to change society as it is, change it to where others won't have to suffer like we did. A future of peace and stability...but the longer I went on, the more my brother became jaded. Tired. He valued the ideals of the hero, but of a hero being controlling, doing whatever he wants to enact his own form of justice. It started off with small things, but sooner or later he resorted to violence. Even murder and carnage just to keep the peace...wanting more and more.
Toshinori 2:...You gave him a quirk.
AFO: He hated being weak, so I wanted him to be strong. It was my fault. I didn't recognize that obsession in his eyes. The obsession for power and revenge, the obsession for freedom, the obsession for strength. The strongest live, and the weak thrive. With the quirk I gave him, it combined with his own. A quirk...called One for All.
Toshinori 2: I see...
Toshinori 4: AHAHA!...You don't mind me do you?
Toshinori 2: NOT AT ALL!
AFO: He took things too far one time and so I had to stop him...at the cost of his own life. But that wasn't the end of it. His quirk...can be passed down on. Passing on his added power...
Toshinori 2: And his obsession.
AFO: He had actually hated me. Envied me for being so powerful. That hatred and obsession of his...it passed onto each wielder. Grew stronger with each one, corrupted them more and more. Izuku's father actually knew this...but his fears and past experience made a monster of his own daughter while his son...*chuckle* Even when quirkless, he's more of a hero than anyone I've seen.
Toshinori 2: So what now?
AFO: Let them fight. There are consequences to using too much of OFA's power, and Izumi has already gone past her own time limit.
Toshinori 2: So we can-
AFO: No.
AFO stops Toshinori 2 as he held a hand up.
AFO: A girl molded by society's standards into a dangerous, evil criminal. A boy who will do what it takes to do good, even with questionable methods. It's time the cycle ends Toshinori, and it's time they settle their grudge once and for all.
Toshinori 2: But young Izuku-
AFO: I have faith in your successor and Izuku. But they need to settle the bitterness between them. The hatred, the rage they both feel...and the pity.
He sighs before clicking a device and opening a portal.
