After Kim settled things with Boc, she warps to the south of Agheel Lake, still wanting to resolve this grafting issue despite her mutation from consuming the dragon heart. She follows the stone road and notices giant graves poking out of the cliffs the path is going through. Out of curiosity, she jumps over and climbs them to the left cliff edge, where she saw a lone Wandering Noble. When she came toward the noble, she believed him to be miserable and was particularly upset. The noble attacks on her sight, but Kim trips him. "I'm sorry I had to resort to this," Kim said, holding her broadsword, "but I guess here in Limgrave-" she stops when the noble had steam surrounding it, and from it, a huge bulky Runebear emerged to Kim's shock. She quickly jumps down using the gravestones, but the runebear follows, jumping down and breaking the grave Kim was on and they fell. The runebear then rose and smashed the ground with its paws, knocking Kim to the opposite cliff edge. When she gets up, the runebear was charging and attempting to swipe at her, but she gets out of the way downhill.

She headed for the Bridge of Sacrifice with the runebear just behind her. Upon reaching the bridge, she turns to see the Runebear about to pounce again, but she jumps and shoves her broadsword into the runebear's back, sending it rampant as they approach the bridge, and were met by a ballista bolt to the bear's chest. The runebear attacks the Godrick soldiers and foot soldiers, but it was eventually killed by a ballista bolt to its head. Kim jumps off, retrieving her sword and landing behind the soldier manning the ballista. She kicks him off and destroys the ballista, but not before knocking out the other Godrick soldiers who were out to get her. When she looked at where the runebear left, not all of the destroyed spikes, but something else. On the stone was something squishy and transparent. Kim approaches and picks up the Larval Tear, something that is not flesh or spirit. Regardless, she puts it in her pocket and rests by the site of grace near the bridge.

As she took off back on the path south, she looked at a woman with green hair wearing a blindfold sitting nearby. When Kim approaches the woman, the woman says after hearing her, "Hello? Is someone there?" and Kim answered as she sat next to her, "Yes, hello. I'm Kim Possible. May I ask what are you doing out here?"

The woman then said "Mind if I bend your ear, please Miss Possible?"

Kim leaned over as the woman continued, "My name is Irina.I've escaped from Castle Morne, to the south. The servants there... have rebelled."

"Why?" Kim asked, "Why would they rebel?"

Irina answered, "I don't know. My eyesight's been weak since birth, you see. But I swear I heard howling from all over. My good father secreted me out of the castle but decided to stay himself. Says it's his duty as commander."

"My gosh, Irina," Kim said, sympathetic to her story, "I am very sorry to hear that. Want to tell me more?"

Irina said, "I... I fear for father's life. The servants are full of wroth. Filled with hatred for every one of us. They've since come for every companion I escaped with. They haven't spared one soul. Please, I implore you. Would you mind taking this letter to my father at the castle, Miss Possible?"

After Kim said yes, Irina thanked her and handed her the letter. Kim continues down the hill, saddened by all the dead soldiers and destroyed carriages on the path. She wanders by, feeling sorry for the usually hostile Godrick soldiers as most sat around, mourning their dead comrades. Even a troll kneeled close by, mourning his smaller comrades. One of the strays that were feasting near corpses stopped eating and barked at Kim's sight. Two strays went after her, and using her cheerleading skills again, she avoided getting bit, except one of the strays had bitten her on one of her hands to no effect. She was curious about her dragon scales as she dodged the strays' jaws. She was regretful, but she casts pebbles to put the dogs down. After turning around after doing so, she looked to see strange horned and hairy creatures feasting on what Kim believes to be Irina's escorts. She did not want to take revenge, but she was told by Irina what they did, so she casts Glintstone arc on the Misbegotten, perhaps trying to get all of them, but one of them noticed her and began attacking with their iron cleavers. With all the martial arts in the world, she avoids the cleavers and casts pebbles again, but feels her head hurt. She reverts to using her fists and sword and knocks all the Misbegotten out.

She drank from her cerulean flask before moving on. She reaches the Castle Morne Rampart, where the path diverges, which either goes up through a ruined castle wall on a hill or elsewhere to her right. However, she looked at a Site of Grace that would give her time to think about it. After resting at the site, she notices another nomadic merchant just close by. When he asked if she was buying or selling, Kim had bought a stonesword key, a note about demi-human mobs, and a crimson amber medallion. She rested into the night, but woke up hungry. She considered the rowa berries she had been picking, but remembers a strip of white meat she picked. With the merchant's help, she cooks the white meat along with slivers of meat Ben gave her, and she eats them. When she was going to continue, she saw a Night's Cavalry with a flail. She breathed, looking her staff and sword before saying, "No more hiding." and she went to face the knight.

The knight immediately charged and attempted to blunt her, but Kim dodges and casts Glintstone arc, hitting the rider and horse. She even goes up and slashes the horse, but ends up hit by the knight's flail and fliesbehind a bush. The knight came over and crushed the bush with his horse, only to find it empty. Kim was skipping through the shrubs, as she then cast pebbles on the knight's horse, which got the knight off. Before Kim could pierce the knight, the knight rolled and hit her with his flail. The knight got up and was about to strike her again, but she drank from a crimson tear flask and cast Glintstone stars, hitting the knight. The knight then stomps his foot, creating a circle that called his horse that he immediately remounted. Kim reacted, "Sigh. This place seems to surprise you, huh, Kim?" The knight charged again, prompting Kim to use her arc sorcery and then pebbles, which finally took out the knight as his mount also disappears. She picks up the Nightrider Flail and barricade shield ash of war the knight dropped.

Kim then got back on the road, going over the hill and seeing Castle Morne with a wall surrounding a village near it. She descends downhill but stumbles across a stone monument that had something. When she goes there, she grabs another map portion containing the Weeping Peninsula. When she looked at it, she raised a brow when a village caught her eye. She kept in thought that there was a village north of Castle Morne, but for now, she had to continue. However, recalling Ben's question on why there were many ruins, Kim decided to have a look at the nearby ruins.

When she was close enough to the ruins to see another small golden tree, Kim harvested a seed from it before a screeching noise from above. She looks up and sees a creepy skeletal bird holding a staff with small wings before it crashes down near her. She narrowly avoided the bird's aggressive swings, stabs, and yacks of its Death's Poker, and Kim casts Glintstone stars on the bird's head, yet it remains unscathed. The Deathbird screeched as Kim covered her ears, and it snatches her before pecking her various times. Seeing that she wasn't dead as she retrieved her staff, the Deathbird screamed once more, causing death blight to overcome Kim. She feels roots growing piercing through her body as she dies after a larger root goes through her heart, and it rises her up as if to display her corpse.

Kim respawns at the Site of Grace in the morning, grunting in frustration as she should have gone to the village first. Looking at her map, she goes west, following a dirt path that diverges from the stone path. At the end, she spotted a building close by and decided to investigate. As she was about to get near a body, she was pounced on by a giant rat with burning eyes. She yelps and kills the rat along with another with her broadsword. After they were dead, she picked up a yellow ember with a frenzied flame on it. She puts it in her pocket and continues up the path, only to be attacked by other frenzied rats along with a giant rat the size of her. After she casted spells, but after she killed a lot of rats after being bitten by them, the mother rat bit her again, causing her eyes to suddenly explode with flaming madness, and she screamed as she kneeled to the pain and cried a bit. She eventually regains herself and kills the rat with a casted glintstone arc.

Her trek to the Ailing Village was full of madness, but there was going to be more of it when she got there. The villagers were all infested with the Frenzied Flame, and they attacked her as soon as they saw her, with those villagers being put out of their misery. Some were near a bonfire, posing as if to protect their eyes in these grotesque poses. She feared getting mad again, as she tiptoed past them before reaching the Callu Baptismal Church, where she sees something in there. However, she also sees frenzied rats again that she killed on the spot. Upon harvesting some Eye of Yelough nearby, Kim then notice a corpse holding something of value, and picks up the Flame of Frenzy incantation. While observing her incantations, it seemed to her she wanted a few more things in her arsenal.

She warps to the south of Agheel Lake and returns to where she first got her glintstone staff. After fighting off Godrick's forces and Kaiden Sellswords again, she stumbles across a Royal House Scroll. Feeling like Sellen should decipher it after opening it, Kim goes to Sellen and hands her the scroll. Sellen said this is sorcery she isn't familiar with but will incorporate it into their lessons. Kim learns the Carian Slicer and Glintblade Phalanx sorceries before she heads further westward of the peninsula, starting from the Ailing Village Outskirts. She looked down an edge and not wanting to walk, slid down the cliff and jumped down to a nearby site of grace before resting at it. Looking at her map again, she decided to investigate a ruin, a giant tree, and the further west of the peninsula.

Her first destination was the Demi-human Forest Ruins. She had some trouble getting there with all the hostile demi-humans around, and she figured out how to use the Glintblade Phalanx. After the swords lunge themselves at the demi-humans, Kim clawed them all out of the way, shouting, "Out of my way, demi-humans!" Once she reached the ruins, she was unfazed to see a large demi-human queen with a staff ready to attack her. In seconds after she roared, a horde of demi-humans came to her aid. "This is the moment where you capture me." Kim said, but the demi-humans only banged their shields and screamed, and Kim sighed before replying, "I guess not." She then leaped into action, avoiding all the demi-humans' clubs and swords as she stomped on their heads, running for the queen. When a demi-human jumped to club her, she casts carian slicer that sliced through the demi-human before Kim ran through the queen's crystal barrage. She then jumped and plunged her heart with the broadsword before pulling it out. As the Demi-human queen's body disappears, the demi-humans lose hope and cower. As a sort of trophy, Kim drops her current staff and takes the Demi-human queen's staff.

Her next stop was the giant tree, which was a Minor Erdtree. She went south of the ruins, but had to climb up the rugged, rocky cliff face using nothing but her claws. After reaching the top, she felt parched and exhausted, but when she looked up, she was at the foot of the Minor Erdtree, but was confused by all the giant pots nearby. She also noticed a tree stump with legs holding a large golden staff. When Kim was passing by broken pots and going up the hill towards the entity, the Erdtree Avatar turned and swung its staff, but Kim avoids every slow swing until she got onto its back. The Erdtree Avatar then jumped before landing on its body, creating a shockwave that knocked Kim off. The avatar then slams its staff into the ground, creating orbs of light that shoot beams that Kim ran from, but was crushed by the avatar's staff, killing her.

When she respawns at the site of grace close to the ruins, she screams in frustration but thinks of a solution. She returns to the ruins to find only five demi-humans still cowering. When she gave out rowa raisins, the five demi-humans did not cower from her and began following her up the cliff for a rematch with the Erdtree Avatar. When the avatar turned, Kim told the demi-humans to attack it. Almost immediately, the Erdtree Avatar's staff knocked three of them over, and just as the other two climbed on, Kim told them to get off and they did when the avatar jumped and smashed to the ground. Kim then looks at her staff, realizing what she could have done and cast her sorceries as the last of the demi-humans died, knocking the Erdtree Avatar out. When Kim pulls out her broadsword, she pierces the entity before pulling her sword out, but it got up, clearly not finished. It was then Kim used a carian slicer and performed a square off with her broadsword, finally killing the avatar as its body disappears into particles. While Kim mourns her demi-human companions, she received two crystal tears from her battle.

Finally, her last destination was the western coast of the peninsula. First, however, she went north to the Church of Pilgrimage, and while she napped at the site of grace, Melina appears unexpectedly. "Sorry to bother your nap," Melina said, "but spoken echos linger here. Words of Queen Marika. If you wish, I will share them with you." When Kim sat up, she nodded to Melina. She spoke in Marika's words, "Then, after thy death, I will give back what I once claimed. Return to the Lands Between, wage war, and brandish the Elden Ring. Grow strong in the face of death. Warriors of my lord. Lord Godfrey." With those words at heart, Kim sat up and continued westward. She saw headless spectral soldiers around a giant walking mausoleum on stone legs and did not hesistate in defending herself against them. She had no idea what to do about the Wandering Mausoleum, but went to a cabin and rested there, meeting an isolated merchant.

After some deals, Kim bought a note about Wandering Mausoleums, a lantern, a zweilhandler for Ben, another stonesword key. After reading the note, Kim rids the mausoleum's feet of skulls, causing it to crouch and turn immobile. Opening its doors, she expressed disgust upon seeing a corpse, but learns it is a Soulless Demigod. She felt she had done everything she could in this peninsula, especially exploring the dark and cold caves and catacombs where she received Lhutel the Headless in the Tombsward Catacombs, and was now focused on Castle Morne.
