D'stil entered his house to find a group of men and women, all looking up at him as he entered. He knew most of them because they were friends and family. He wondered what they were doing here because he told no one when he was going to be home. He wanted to surprise his wife.

"D'stil," An uncle called out. D'stil could already tell that uncle was drunk on blood wine. D'stil grunted his way as he looked around for the one person he wanted. He didn't see her anywhere.

He was about to call out to find out where she was, but he thought there were only two places she could be. She was either in their room or the nursery. He didn't say anything as he made his way to the stairs. He took two at a time before reaching the top.

He took a moment before going left to the nursery and his room. He stopped at the nursery to see his sons sleeping. He watched them for a moment because they had gotten so big since the last time he saw them. The last time that he saw them, they were only a few weeks old. He had missed them. He went in the room to look down at them. They looked peaceful in their green and yellow blankets that they got from Miral's grandparents. He knew that they would grow up and stop being this cute. D'stil tipped toed out of the nursey and took a breath. He needed his wife.

D'stil stepped in front of his room and opened the door. He found his wife, taking a nap herself. They could have got a nanny for the boys, but Miral wanted to raise her sons herself. D'stil only nodded because she was pregnant, and he didn't want to deal with a pregnant woman. D'stil took off his clothes and climbed into bed with her. She curled into him and D'stil smiled. He was just about to close his eyes when he heard.

"When did you get home?" D'stil opened his eyes to see his wife looking at him.

"Just now," He ran a hand along the bottom of her shirt. Miral moaned. D'stil smiled because they hadn't been together since before the boys were born. When D'stil had left, Miral still couldn't have sex. D'stil loved his sons, but he missed having his wife.

They pulled at each other's clothes. D'stil was ready to pull her pants down when they heard crying. D'stil moaned. Miral laughed and pushed D'stil off her. She put her shirt back on and smiled at her husband. "Come and help me with your sons," D'stil gave her a look before throwing some clothes on and following his wife to the nursey.

"Pick up, Dremahk," Miral said, she was at the changing table. D'stil looked between his children and didn't know which one was which. He didn't like it. Miral smiled. "Dremahk is in the green," D'stil picked up the green bundle and brought him to Miral. D'stil went and picked up D'jono. He watched his wife change Dremahk. She traded boys to change D'jono.

There was a knock on the door, D'stil went to open the door to someone holding two bottles. D'stil took them from the smiling person. D'stil shut the door in his face. D'stil found Miral sitting in the rocking chair, already nursing D'jono.

"D'stil," Miral said. D'stil looked up from the nursing child. He saw that her face was serious. "I know that it is custom that we live with your family in the early years of our marriage, but I want our own place." They traded babies. D'stil gave D'jono a bottle while Miral nurse Dremahk.

"Why?" D'stil asked.

"I am tired of everyone telling me how to raise my sons to be Klingon warriors," Miral reached for the other bottle to feed Dremahk.

D'stil smiled, he could see how that would be. He also knew that Miral had a temper, and she was holding it in. "Okay," He said.

"Really just like that," Miral was surprised. She put Dremahk on a blanket. D'stil put his brother down next to him.

D'stil smiled at his wife before leaning down. "Yes, I don't need you killing a family member," He saw the look that Miral had on her face, she was shocked that he would say that. "I know your temper."

Miral rolled her eyes at him and pulled him down to her. "I missed you," She before kissed him.

"D'stil, I was thinking a house in the capital," Miral said. D'stil grunted. He was ready to sleep after their bout of loving making. "We would be closer to your job, and we have friends there. Also, there are children around the boys age," Miral looked up at her husband to see that his eyes were closed. She elbowed him in the side.

"What, woman," D'stil looked down at his wife. She raised an eyebrow at him. "I think a house in the capital is a good thing."

Miral crossed her arms over his chest. "You do," She smiled at him.

"Yes, we have lives in the capital, and I like to keep you close to me," D'stil pulled her closer. He knew that he could always go again. He kissed her lips. "We could always live on my ship."

Miral shook her head. "Not with the boys so young and I know that we are planning on having more," Miral straddled him. She leaned closer. "Maybe when they are older," D'stil moaned as she took him in her. He loved this woman.

D'stil entered his new home and smiled when he heard crying. It was time for dinner for them. He went to the kitchen and grabbed two bottles before making his way upstairs to the boys' room. He saw Miral already there with D'jono nursing. D'stil set the bottles down before grabbing Dremahk to calm him down.

"How was work?" Miral asked as she traded babies with him. D'stil only grunted. It only made her roll her eyes. D'stil smiled softly to himself. He loved doing that to his wife. He finished feeding D'jono before burping him.

"It was fine," D'stil got on the floor with D'jono. Miral soon followed with Dremahk. D'stil realized how right his wife was about getting a home in the capital seemed. He could be home at night with his family. He did miss them when they lived with his parents and grandmother. "I will have to go in space for a few months later on in the year." D'stil watched Miral close her eyes and sighed. He knew that she hated it when he wasn't here.

"You'll miss the boys' first birthday," Miral said.

"I know and I'm sorry," D'stil reached over and placed a hand on cheek. She leaned into his hand. "You could always come on the ship with me."

Miral shook her head. "I am not running after two boys while you are running the ship," D'stil laughed. "Also, my parents talked about coming for the boys' birthday."

D'stil moaned. He loved his in-laws, but in small doses. "How long are they going to be here?" He asked. He might get out of seeing them.

"About a month," Miral picked up one of the twins and stood. D'stil took the other and they headed downstairs to the kitchen. Miral wanted to start cooking for their meal. She placed Dremahk in a playpen, D'stil put D'jono next to his brother.

"I'm sorry that I will miss them," D'stil from behind her.

Miral elbowed him in the ribs. "No, you are not." D'stil laughed.

D'stil lied in bed next to his wife and thought how happy he was. They did make the right decision about moving on their own. He knew that Miral was doing some work with the Federation embassy and the Klingon High Council. He was closer to work and his ship. They were closer to their friends that were starting families. The boys had play dates with other children around their age.

D'stil pulled his wife close and closed his eyes. He might just talk Miral into having another child when he gets back in few months.
