"Tom, move away from that window," B'Elanna didn't look up from her PADD. Tom was by the window watching their oldest daughter, Miral, walking up the path with a boy that she had gone a date with.

Tom gave B'Elanna a look before turning to the window. "I have to make sure he doesn't do anything to her."

B'Elanna rolled her eyes. "What is a fifteen-year-old boy going to do in our front yard?" She asked.

"He could," Tom started but he saw B'Elanna raise an eyebrow waiting for his answer. "Do something."

"That explains so much," B'Elanna sighed and went back to her PADD. There was no reasoning with him.

"What is Dad doing?" Xavier asked as he came into the family room.

"Watching your sister," B'Elanna told her son. She looked up to see he had an apple in his hand. "Why are you eating again?"

Xavier smiled at his mom. "I'm a growing boy."

B'Elanna sighed as she watched Xavier make his way to his father. "Paris men," She mumbled.

"I heard that," Tom turned away from the window to his wife. "You married one and had one."

"I must have not been thinking," B'Elanna said.

Xavier turned to look at his mom. "Which time?" B'Elanna gave him a confused look. "First time or the second time?"

"Both times," B'Elanna gave her son a look. Xavier laughed before going back to the window. Tom smiled at his wife before following his son.

"Why are Dad and Xavier looking out the window?" Selena asked as she came down the stairs.

"They are watching your sister?" B'Elanna said.

"Oh," She handed her PADD to her mom for her to look over her homework. "Why?"

"They think that the boy that your sister is with is going to do something to her," B'Elanna looked over Selena's work.

"Do they realize that Miral can take care of herself?" Selena asked.

"Yes, we do," Xavier turned to his little sister. He touched his arm. "I still have the scar she gave me."

Selena rolled her eyes at her brother. "You only say that because she beat you at your own game." Xavier frowned. Selena smiled because she got her brother. Xavier shrugged his shoulders before turning back to the window.

"Dad, he kissed her on the cheek," Xavier said.

"What? How dare he kiss my little girl," Tom tried to stare down the boy through the window.

"Oh, he dares," B'Elanna mumbled. Selena smiled at her mom. "Will you two move away from that window before they notice you?" Tom only pressed closer to the window. B'Elanna sighed. "If I knew you were going to act like this when we had a daughter, I would have never married you."

"But you did, Mom," Selena smiled. B'Elanna threw her daughter a look.

"Not only did you marry him, but had two daughters with him," Xavier smiled at his sister.

Selena turned to her father. "I hope you don't do that to me when I start dating."

Tom pointed at his daughter. "You are never dating."

"Are you going to lock me in my room until I leave for college?" Selena asked.

"If I have too." Tom told his daughter. He didn't like that his kids were growing up.

"Don't worry Selena, I'll break you out," Xavier had a twinkle in his eyes that made Selena smile. She knew that her brother had her back.

"What?" Tom turned to his son. "I thought you had my back."

"Sorry, Dad, but she is my sister and I have to have her back," Xavier said.

Tom looked between his two children before turning back to the window. He saw that Miral was alone. She just stood out there, looking at the stars. "Why is she just standing out there by herself?" Tom asked nobody.

"To remember the night," B'Elanna said. B'Elanna wrapped her arms around herself. "I remember my first date and I didn't want the magic of the night to end."

"Really," Selena said. "Do you remember it?"

B'Elanna smiled. "He had taken me to the local hangout for teenagers where we had burgers and fries," B'Elanna laughed. "He had spilled his soda on his shirt. Afterwards we walked around just talking before he dropped me off at home. I remember standing there thinking that I was in love with him, and I didn't want the night to end."

"What happened to him?" Selena asked.

"He moved away," B'Elanna smiled. She looked up to see a frown on Tom's face. "Are you jealous of a fourteen-year-old boy?"

"No," Tom crossed his arms.

B'Elanna laughed and made her way over to him. She patted him on the chest. "You are, I told you before that you nothing to worry about."

"Before?" Selena asked.

B'Elanna turned away from her husband to her daughter. "We ran into an old boyfriend of mine and your father was jealous even after I told him that we broke up years ago."

"Dad," Xavier slapped Tom on the back. "You have nothing to worry about you got her now," Xavier gave his mother a look. "Are you planning on leaving Dad anytime so?"

"No, for some reason I love that man," B'Elanna said.

"See Dad nothing to worry about," Xavier smiled. "Dad if Mom would have gone back to an old boyfriend. You wouldn't have me. Your favorite son."

"You're my only son," Tom gave his only son a look.

"See your favorite," Xavier smiled.

Tom looked at his wife. "I don't think I was thinking when we had this one," He pointed to Xavier.

B'Elanna laughed. "We weren't thinking when we made any of them," She said in a low voice that only Tom could hear. Tom noticed the look in her eyes. She was ready not to think about any of their children.

"I can help you forget," Tom whispered in her ear.

"Can you?" B'Elanna took his hand and led him away from their children. "Tell your sister that we hoped she had fun, and we will see her in the morning." B'Elanna told their confused children. All Xavier and Selena could do was nod. They watched their parents head upstairs.

"Where are Mom and Dad going?" Miral asked. She had just entered the house.

"Forgetting that they have children," Xavier smiled at his sister.
