Two years ago after Grianos was slain...

Vita was hiding in the woods after the event of the Inferno Castle. She was sitting by the rock, holding an Azure feather, and looked upset.

"Oh, Grianos... why did you have to run up to him?" Vita groaned as look up into the sky. "Oh how did this happen..." She close her eyes before a moment before looking serious. "I know there was something there, hiding in the shadows... Whatever pull Crown Prince Cedric to the Vermillion Apoloypse?" She wondered before she sighed. "I'm afraid it won't be easy now that my power has been halve... I have to find a way to bring Grianos back." She thought for a moment. "Grianos is split into fragment from his feathers... but they're split somewhere in the world... if I can gather the feathers... I might be able to revived him... Hmm..." She got up and summon her Staff. " Grandmother's staff." She let out a sigh. "I don't deserve it. I might as well return it." She said as she begin to teleport to the Hexen Clan.

As she arrived, Vita approached Roselia's Atelier. She look around and see no sign of Roselia inside.

"Doesn't look like Grandmother is here." Vita said as she place her Staff on the table and then begin to write a note. "Sorry, Grandmother." She put the note by the staff and then teleported away.

Vita relocates to a different part of the forest. "All right, time to begin recollecting Grianos feathers... and to avoid being scene by the Intelligence Division..." She said as she begin to walk away.

A month later...

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Behind the Lore)

Vita sighed. "This is more difficult than I thought. Tracking Griano's remaining feathers is going to be difficult. There has to be some way to sense his feathers in the world... Maybe they're not her in Erebonia but elsewhere? Or maybe?" Vita begin to think for a moment until she sighed. "What should I do?" She wondered for a moment. "There are some magic that I don't know yet. Should I go to Fiore? The Intelligence Division can't reach me there... well, except for their foreign Division... but I doubt they can find me." She thought for a moment. "Well... might as well get help... here's hoping he can accept my request..." Vita said as she use her teleportation magic and teleported away.

In Bowser's Kingdom...

Vita arrived in Bowser's Kingdom where she see the development of the village. "A village? Is it being built? Hmm. I'll check that out later." She said as she turn to Bowser's Castle. "Well, might as well give it a shot." She said as she begin to walk toward the path to the castle until she eventually got there. "Excuse me, can I have an audience with King Bowser?"

"Who are you?" A Koopatrol asked

"Vita Clotilde, Second Anguis of Ouroboros."

"Anguis? Ouroboros? Wait, where have I heard that name before?"

"Good question. But I probably forgot about it." The other Koopatrol shrug. "Anyway, probably one of the people who move into Arvarton. That human village from Erebonia."

"Hold on, Erebonian are moving to this Kingdom?" Vita asked

"I don't know the details but apparently due to the civil war that happened, many Erebonians don't exactly feel safe and are pretty angry that many lost their homes. From both nobility and from the Imperial Chancellor. So they came here to start some new lives. Of course some who got hotheaded with their nobility got in trouble with King Bowser."

"Oh yeah, I remember he roasted them until they learn their place and live among the "commoners." The other Kooparol air quote. "Wait, what I was gonna do again?"

"Um, grant me an audience with King Bowser?" Vita asked, deadpanned.

"Oh yeah! Hang on." He said as he ran off inside the castle for a moment.

In Bowser's Castle...

(Fortune Street ost - Bowser's Castle)

"How many more paperwork do we have to do?" Bowser muttered from the pile of paperwork.

"Oh just a couple of more. Like two papers left." Kamek said, tucking his glasses and looking at the two papers. "Oh, this one is about the new building materials and new metals that are shipped to you."

"Oh let's get this over with so we can begin our next plan to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom." Bowser groaned as he lay his back. "That reminds me, how is Crow?"

"He's doing all right adjusting his new life here. It won't be long for his graduations."

"Good. We should also talk about creating our-" The door knock interrupting Bowser. "Who is it?"

"It's me your Nastiness." A Koopatrol said on the other side of the door. "There is a human woman who wish an audience with you. She kinda looks familiar."

"Who?"

"Vita Clotilde, if I remember right."

"Vita? That woman?" Kamek turn to Bowser.

"What does she want?" Bowser rub his chin. "Eh, at least she'll be better to see her then doing the paperwork. Come on, let's see what does she want." He got up from his chair and then headed to the throne room with Kamek. "Bring her in."

"At once!" The Koopatrol ran off to the door as Bowser and Kamek made their way to the Throne room and he sit down with his usual stand.

Soon Vita enter the throne room.

"It's been awhile King Bowser. I see you look good." Vita said.

"Spare me that. What do you want?" Bowser asked.

"I take it you hold a grudge against me?"

"No. Our contract has ended. Nothing more. What brings you here?"

"Well I'm sure you recall the event of the Infernal Castle, right? Do you remember the part where my familiar, Grinanos was slain by Rufus Albarea?"

Bowser rub his chin. "Can't say- Oh wait, was it that bluebird?"

"That's the one. I'm going to revived him. However, the Infernal Castle has scattered Grianos's mana all over the Empire... but it's possible that he was scattered throughout the world. And I'm afraid it will take me awhile to go out search. I was hoping to ask you for a favor... considering that we first start off from a good relationship. I don't suppose you might be willing to lend a hand to find Grianos feathers with me?"

"You want us to find your dead bird's remains tor revive him?" Kamek asked.

"Yes. I'm aware that it will be difficult, and It will not surprise me if you refuse. We can forget this meeting took place. However, I came here hoping you might not hold a grudge against me."

"Hmm..." Kamek rub his chin. "I don't know. True, we only cooperate just for your research to the world outside the atmosphere... But why just us?"

"Because I can't return to the society for the time being. Espcually after what happened. What's more, the Intelligence Division has been looking for me. But I figured it wouldn't help find a helping hand. That and there are magic that are outside my knowledge. Like the Mushroom Kingdom's magic and Fiore. I should ask a expert such as yourself, Kamek."

"Well, I can't deny that I'm well-versed in magic." Kamek rub his chin again until he heard the throne room open.

"Oh, there you are." Mona walks up to the throne room. "Pardon me for interrupting but I have news on-" Then she and spotted Vita. "-Huh? Vita? What are you doing here?"

"Oh hello Mona. I see you're looking well. I'm here to ask a favor of King Bowser." Vita giggled.

"A favor?"

"It's about that familiar of hers. The one where that gentleman cut her familiar in half." Kamek explained.

"Oh, that's right. Rufus Albarea..." Mona muttered.

"Vita here is asking us to help revive her familiar. Grianos's remains are scattered throughout the empire or even possibly the world. So she needs help from experts such as myself in Mushroom Kingdom Magic."

"I see... I'm not familiar with some magic of other worlds... except my family's secret technique in divinity... but it doesn't stop me from continue learning. Are you planning on helping her revive her familiar? Because if so, can I take part in it?"

"Why would you want to take part if it?" Bowser asked.

"Well, I could some excitement. Other then that, she is my friend. Right, Vita? Unless that's a lie."

"Of course, I'm glad you consider me your friend... even after what transpired." Vita smiled.

Bowser fold his arms as he think. 'I don't like the idea but... she did help us... and... this might be in my favor.' "Fine. But know that you owe me one, Vita."

"Thank you, King Bowser."

"Well, if his Nastiness desires it... then so be it." Kamek sighed before pulling out his wand and conjured his orb. "Now, let us see where we can find the remains of Grianos the familiar.

(Trails of Cold Steel III ost - Between the Forgotten Phantasm −Sen Ver.−)

Kamek's orb begin to spout clouds before it dissipates as it reveals Grianos' feathers.

"Hmm... After the event in the Inferno Castle... Grianos' feathers have scattered throughout the world. But I might be able to find them. Let's see where..."Kamek said as the clouds covered the feathers once more until it reveal one of the feathers is located throughout Erebonia, Mushroom Kingdom, Crossbell and Fiore. "Hmm... They truly scattered even outside of Erebonia."

"I suspected as much. Can you extend where the location is?" Vita asked.

"Let's see..." Kamek wave his hands as the orb zoom out.

In Erebonia, one is located is Languedoc Canyon, Milsante, Lohengrin Castle, Eisengard Range, and Hamel. In Crossbell is Stargazer's Tower. In the Mushroom Kingdom is Mushroom Gorge, Cheep Cheep Beach, Maple Treeway, Rock Rock Mountain, Koopa Cape, Thwomp Ruins, Toad Harbor, and Dolphin Shore. And lastly in Fiore, it's located in the West Forest.

"I recognized those places in Erebonia. That tower... that look like Stargazer's tower." Vita muses

"The most seem to be scattered in the Mushroom Kingdom. I remember those places. While the last one must be in Fiore." Kamek rub his chin.

"Hmm... Perhaps we should take Fiore last. We should at each split up and collect the feathers that are scattered. The unfamiliar one should be the last." Mona said

"I think the same. Looks like I was right to request your help." Vita said.

"All right, now that we know, we should go with Mona's plan to split up." Kamek said as he teleported his crystal ball away. "Once we gather all of them, we'll find some way to bring back your familiar."

"Thank you. I'll take care of the one in Crossbell and Erebonia. You two should take the Mushroom Kingdom. Then we can take on Fiore together."

"Very well. Let's go." Kameks said as he use his magic and teleported away along with Vita and Mona.

"Well, guess I should return to paperwork." Bowser sighed as he got up from his throne and head to his study.

Several feathers gathered later...

(Trails to Zero ost - The Way of the Tree Spirits)

"Ugh... thank goodness we managed to gather much of Grianos feathers... some were difficult to reach or some were snatch by the Molty Moles..." Mona complained as she, Kamek and Mona walk around the West Forest.

"You had the difficult part, haven't you?" Vita asked

"Sucks for you, Mona." Kamek chuckled.

"Oh hush!" Mona pouted. "Anyway, Vita, can you sense Grianos's presence?"

"Hmm... I can sense his mana somewhere in this forest... however, it's rather small and vague due to the large among of mana coming from this forest. I can't seem to find out where his last feather is at." Vita answered.

"From what I remember, the feather is located somewhere between trees. But it could be anywhere in this forest." Kamek told them. "But remember that we should be careful around here. There are monsters somewhere in this forest."

"Right. Monsters have been sighted all over the world. Hard to imagine that it's been just a few months since the monster evolutions begin to spread throughout the world." Mona replied.

"But if you think about it, it's hardly any different to the enemies the Mushroom Kingdom or even from Fodlan has monsters or creatures. Of course, that also applies to the Grimm." Vita said.

"Yes. Those however, are the most thing we should caution us. I imagine the event of the Inferno Castle cause quite the panicked." Kamek said.

"No kidding. I'm sure the Imperial Army has dealt with those things." Mona nodded as they go in further into the forest until they found themselves a Orbal Charging Staton and pass it, was a large area where they found a clearing.

"Hmm... I'm picking up something." Vita said as they look around.

"Maybe we should have build a device to make finding the feathers with mana more effective." Kamek rub his chin.

"Oh, now you tell me." Mona groaned as they look around until she look up and see Granos last feather. "Oh! There it is!" She jump up to the tree branch, pick up the feather and landed.

"The last feather..." Vita said as they gather around Mona. "Grianos..."

"All right, that's a wrap then. Let's returned." Kamek said and he used his magic to teleport them back to Bowser's Castle.

Later to Bowser's Castle...

"All right. Now that we collected all of Grianos' feathers, we should gather them together. We could use a 1-UP Mushroom if you like." Kamek said.

"That would make it quick. However, I want to revive him by channeling and summon his well-being back into him." Vita said. "Well... Shall we?"

"All right. Let's bring back your familiar." Kamek said.

Mona, Kamek and Vita combine their magic as a magic circle appeared underneath the feathers as they it glowed a bit until a flash of light covered the area until it faded. Once the light faded and the magic circle disappeared, Grianos was revived.

"Grianos!" Vita yelled as Grianos chirped as he slowly got back on his feet and shook a bit.

(Super Mario Galaxy ost - Family)

Grianos look around and then spotted Vita and flew toward her as Vita open her arms and hug her resurrected familiar.

"Oh Grianos... I'm so happy you're back! You had no idea how I've missed you. Even you were slain... I was completely heartbroken... never do something like that again! Do you hear me?" Vita asked as Grianos chirped. "Good, Oh Grianos... I'm so... so..." Her tears begin to come out. She turn to Mona and Kamek. "Mona... Kamek... Thank you. I truly owe you and King Bowser a debt."

"I'm glad that we can help." Mona smiled.

"Well, glad it work out. What are you going to do now?" Kamek asked

"Right now... I'll be hiding for a while. I might need a new weapon. I'll be sure to repay you back someday. Please, give King Bowser my deepest gratitude. I hope we can work together someday. Oh and... tell Crow I'm happy that he's okay... and that he enjoy his new life here." Vita answered as she activated a magic circle.

"Of course. Take care, Vita." Mona nodded with a smile as she teleported away. "..."

"Wondered if we did the right thing?" Kamek asked

"Yeah. I know she might be a troublesome person... but... I know she is a good person in heart. I hope she'll be okay. I can imagine that Crow feels the same." Mona said. "Strange... she kinda reminds me of myself." Mona let out a warm smile.

"About you leaving your family, right?"

"Yes. But I'm sure Vita will be fine. With Grianos resurrection. I think it's safe to say she got all her power back." Mona then stretch her arms. "Well, we should get back to work. You still have to help Bowser out with his paper works right?"

"Ah, quite right. Have a good say, Mona." Kamek nodded said as he and Mona split up.

And there you have it. That's how Grianos was resurrected. Originally, I was going to add in some boss fight, I figured that Vita might need a weapon besides casting her magic or something like that. Oh, and that a certain someone was responsible for bringing a certain supernatural grass to Fiore. But maybe another time.
