Eugeo was humming in Kirito's House as he was busy cleaning the house. He wipe his forehead after finish cleaning the floors with the Sweeper Mop. Eugeo then put the sweeper away and then lay on the couch.

"Hmm..." Eugeo humming to himself, laying on the side. "What should I do...?"

Eugeo risen up and then pull out his ARCUS Alpha. "This world is very new to me. I'm really glad Kirito let me stay in his place but... I should focus on getting myself a job now since I'm a citizen to the Mushroom Kingdom."

The door opened and then came in was Kirito.

"Aaaah! Home sweet home!' Kirito declared.

"And we're home!" Yui cheered as she, Asuna and Kirito entered their house. "Wow, the house look sparkling!"

"Welcome back, everyone." Eugeo waved at them.

"Evening Eugeo. You been busy, haven't you?" Asuna asked. "You must be tired after cleaning the house the whole day."

"Well, I just finish sweeping the floor with the... sweeper. I have to say, even since I was reborn in this world, so much is foreign to me. I thought for sure this is the real world to where you all are from."

"Well, technically this is part of the real world. But not exactly the world where me, Yui and Asuna are from. But we decided to make this our second home all the same." Kirito then sit down. "You have to admit though, this world is beautiful in its own right. Though I do kinda wanna have you see my world when we have the chance."

"But lucky, we don't have to worry about that. Ever since we came to this world about two years ago, Master Hand was able to manipulate space and time to open a portal to our world." Yui sit next to Kirito.

"True that." Kirito petting Yui's head.

"But we still end up living here instead." Asuna giggled. "Oh that reminds me, Eugeo, are you hungry by chance?"

"Well I am actually. But I wasn't sure what to eat." Eugeo answered. "I've tried many cuisine since coming here and they were delicious. So here in this world, you work for an institute, right Kirito?"

"That's right. Gadd Science, Incorporation. Most of the technology here in the Mushroom Kingdom was founded by Professor E. Gadd." Kirito nodded his head. "Everything there to here is quite advance."

"That would explain this ARCUS Alpha you gave me." Eugeo pull out the ARCUS Alpha. "I'm still getting the hang of it. Technology here and in your world truly is amazing..."

"Not to mention the weapons compare to the Underworld and ours." Kirito added. "Speaking off weapons, how is the Blue Sword Rose by the way?"

"Hmm... I'm surprised you kept the sword with you all times. I'm really grateful and happy that you kept it when... that happen." Eugeo put his ARCUS unit away and then rub his arm. "But back to the sword. You said you had it repaired, right?"

"Yeah. I ask many people to repair that special sword. Master Hand was able to repair it with his powers and alter it a bit, turning it into a magical weapon of sorts."

"That would explain why I felt something was different when I held it." Eugeo amused. "Say, Kitito, Asuna, Yui, can I ask you guys something?"

"What is it, Eugeo?" Asuna asked.

"What do you all do since living in this world?"

"That's an interesting question." Yui mused. "Well, I help out Daddy with his work in Gadd Science, Incorporation."

"I'm still getting used the fact that you have a daughter, Kirito..." Eugeo sweatdrop. "Especially about the... AI you call it, right?"

"Honestly, Kirito, must you continue to be vague to every explanation?" Asuna sighed.

"H-Hey! I wasn't sure how to explain it! You remember that Alice was glaring at me when she found out about Yui!"

"Hehehe~" Yui giggled.

Eugeo sweatdrop again. "Kirito, you brought it upon yourself. I'm still learning more about the concepts of this world. Anyway, your Father works for the institute to continue to improve technology. What do you do, Asuna?"

"Well since coming here two years ago, I decided to be a freelance swordswoman for a little while until I either become a Bracer or a housewife. But considering the dangers that does on with the Grimm, the Heartless and many other evil that will be around, I decided to keep honing my swordsmanship." Asuna answered. "Though, I was thinking if I should be a Bracer."

"A Bracer is quite a decent job." Kirito said. "Though I imagine that you'll be an A-Rank Bracer."

"I can imagine you as well."

"A Bracer, hmm..." Eugeo rub his chin as he think for a moment.

"Hm? What's up, Eugeo?" Kirito asked

"Well, truth be told. I was wondering what kind of job I should get. I can't live here without paying. I rather not be a leech."

"Ah, so that explains the questions." Kirito had his right leg over his left. "Well, you're a swordsman Eugeo. You could be a Bracer if you like. Bracers are basically symbols of justice."

"I could, yes. But what are the other options?" Eugeo asked.

Kirito rub his chin. "Well, I know how smart you are but..."

"How about tomorrow you can go job searching?" Asuna suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea." Yui smiled. "What can you do, Eugeo besides Swordsmanship?"

"Well, I guess I've experienced in lumberjack thanks to my job back in the underworld, but I'm also a good cook and mentor of swordmanship." Eugeo answered.

"Sounds like a good job for a Bracer." Asuna said. "Actually, I also have another thought in mind. Why not serve in the Mushroom Kingdom's military?"

"Their military?"

"You know like soldiers and stuff like that. I recall that Kagura and Jin are strengthening the Mushroom Kingdom defenses and military every time Bowser attacks them and abduct Princess Peach. But also for another reason."

"Another reason?" Eugeo asked.

"Eh, you'll find out." Kirito explain.

"Hmm... I think the Bracer Guild is still opened so maybe I'll go job hunting and see for myself." Eugeo said as he gots up.

"In that case, I'll go join you in case if you get lost on the way." Kirito got up.

"In that case, good luck on the job hunting." Asuna waved with Yui.

"Cya in a bit, Daddy! Eugeo!" Yui also waved and Kirito and Eugeo left. "So Mommy, what should we eat?"

"Hmm..." Asuna rub her chin until she snapped her finger. "I know!"

In the Mushroom Kingdom's Bracer Guild later...

"Hello, Excuse me." Eugeo came in with Kirito as they see Bracers fo Hammer Bros, other humans, Goombas, Koopas, Sky Guys, and Faunus. "Oh wow!"

"So many, huh?" Kirito chuckled. "Anyway, let's head to the reception." Kirito said as they walk to the reception. "Hi there. Mind if we talk for a bit?"

"Hello to you, sir." A Goomba reception greeted. "How may I help you?"

"I would like to ask about how does one become a Bracer."

"Oh, are you interested in becoming a Bracer?"

"Actually, that would be me." Eugeo said. "Although its an option."

"I see. In that case, allow me to explain. For one to become a Bracer, they must filled out a form here in the guild and go through a couple of exam."

"A couple of exams you say?"

The Goomba nodded. "That's right. One exam is a writing exam of the Bracer's history, our Code, the ranks of the Bracers, the responsibility, and such. The other is about combat tests to determine your skills. After taking each exam, you will go through a couple of training to determine you have what it takes to become a Bracer. Proper judgment, compassion, and courage."

"I see." Eugeo rubs his chin. "I understand. How long does it take if I do become a Bracer?"

"That depends if you have what it takes. But I believe you'll do just fine. All you have to do is sign the form and then wait for it to approve which should be just a few minutes before one of the Bracers will be your mentor."

"I see. I need time to consider it."

"In that case, I'll be looking forward to see you again."

"All right, let's head off." Kirito said as he and Eugeo took off. "Okay so what do you think about the Bracer job?"

"It sounds pretty good actually. I don't think I'll have a problem with it. I'll think I'll consider that. But before I do, I would think about this military first. But who should I asked."

"Oh I got the answer to that." Kirito chuckled as he pull out his ARCUS Alpha and screw down the names.

"Yo, Kirito, my man, what's up?" Kagura greeted

"Sup, Kagura. I actually have a question for you."

"I know that you and Jin are in Peach's military but I wanted to ask for my best friend to see if he can be enlisted into the Mushroom Kingdom's military."

"Oh, so he's interested is he? I'm pretty sure there's a recruiter in Toad Town center but I can answer any questions related to that."

"Okay, so I wanted to ask, what do I do when If I wanted to enroll into the military?" Eugeo asked

"Well first you gotta meet the recruiter. After being recruited, you will go through a physical exam and after that, you'll meet with a counselor and determine on what kind of career you want to be. Once you chose, you'll go through the basic training, once you pass, you'll officially be a soldier. If this call is from you Kirito, I can imagine your friend must be a fellow swordsman, yeah?"

"Good guess." Kirito chuckled. "This is my best friend Eugeo. He's a strong swordmans and my partner during my time in the underworld. Well in my world. Not the actual underworld."

"Oh? A strong swordsman you say? In that case, I have a good job he can have. But I need to confirm it myself. You wouldn't mind if he comes sees me right now?"

"Right now?" Kirito blinked. "What for?"

"Like I said, I know a perfect job for him. Of course, that depends on your friend, Eugeo, was it?"

"Um, of course." Eugeo nodded his head in confusion. "May I ask about this job you spoke of?"

"I'll explain, but first, visit me in Peach's Castle. I'll be waiting." Kagura then hang up.

"Hey, wait! Got dammit, Kagura." Kirito muttered. "Well, you wanna find out?"

"I might as well." Eugeo shrug and then they take off.

"So this is what it looks like in Princess Peach's Castle?" Eugeo asked, looking around. "It's so... pink."

"Well Peach loves the color pink." Kirito casually wrap his arms behind his neck. "Oh yeah, you haven't met her, huh?"

"No. The people you introduce me was your other friends like Leafa and the others."

"Then we need to change that because you got to meet my other friends." Kirito chuckled. "I can't wait to tell them about my best friend in the whole world been revived by the universe. Oh, but let me tell you about the Mushroom Kingdom. It's really a vast Kingdom."

"How vast are we talking about?" Eugeo asked

"Like... huh. Well I don't know the exact number but think of it as large enough for an Empire over millions of people. Or maybe trillions."

"I... see..." 'That doesn't exactly answer my question but... it will do for now...' "So this Kagura person, who is he exactly?"

"Oh right. He's also not many you met. He's called the Black Knight in his world and a leader of some group of noble families or something. He's a really powerful swordsman. But he's known for a philander. He serves as a loyal attendant to a Prince of his world named Homaru. He and many others came to this world due to an incident. They can't return because of some problems but they're now living here in the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Peach enlisted Kagura help to strengthen the military for future reasons and for peace."

"I see."

"Ah, there you are, Kirito." Kagura greeted with him laying his back on the wall. "So this is your friend?"

"That's right. This is Eugeo." Kirito introduce.

"Nice to meet you." Eugeo greeted.

"The pleasure is mine. Glad that we can meet. So, you got your sword with you?" Kagura asked

"My sword?"

"Oh, did I not mention it?"

"No, you hang up me you bastard." Kirito fold his arms.

"Haha! My bad. I forgot to mention to bring your sword. Don't worry, I'll wait until you get back."

Kirito sweatdrop. "You're sometimes a piece of work..."

One sword retrieves later...

"All right, you got your sword?" Kagura asked

"I do, but what does my sword have to do with this?" Eugeo asked

"Follow me." Kagura said then walk away

"Oi, at least answer the question!" Kirito complained as they chase after him and then arrived in a large garden space.

"All right, this will do just fine." Kagura then turn to face Eugeo and Kirito. "Sorry about not mentioning it. I thought you had your sword with you. Anyway, with that out of the way. Draw your sword, Eugeo."

"Huh?" Eugeo blinked as Kagura pull out his Zweihander. "Huh?!"

(Blazblue Chronophantasma ost - Black Agresion)

"Kagura, what the—"

"Sorry about the sudden request. But I would like you to enlighten me. Kirito, mind being a spectator. I wanna see Eugeo's capability." Kaguera form his stand.

"Is he always like that?" Eugeo asked

"No. Not unless he has a plan or something." Kirito answered.

"I see..." Eugeo turn to his sword and then unsheaths it. He took a glance at his sword as it resonated with him. "..." He then turn to Kagura and then approaches and take his stand. "All right."

"Heh." Kagura smirked. "Now, let's see these skills of yours, Young Swordsman

Man's Number 1 Enemy - Kagura

Eugeo lung toward Kagura and slash him, but Kagura block and swing to the left and push Eugeo away with great strength. Kagura lunged and then slash Eugeo. He block it.

'Such strength!' Eugeo thought and then they resumed swinging at each other until Kagura reverse grip and swing, pushing Eugeo away. "Ngh!"

Eugeo impale the ground to hold his ground and then he lung and swing at Kagura. Kagura parried him and knee Eugeo's stomach as Eugeo slid away. Eugeo's sword glow.

"Sonic Leap!" Eugeo lung and vertical slash Kagura, but he block calmly and parried Eugeo with an upward slash, then swiftly rotate and slash him.

Eugeo block it and then he backflip.

"System Call!" He yelled but nothing happened. "Huh?"

"Eugeo! That system doesn't exist into this world!" Kirito yelled

"You're telling me this now?!" Eugeo exclaimed as Kagura teleported behind him and slash. "Ngh!" Eugeo was able to block it as he slid.

"I'm not sure about this "System Call" is, but this world functions through techniques. Same for your sword." Kagura swirl his Zweihander and pointed at Eugeo. "There's no doubt your sword hold some power. However, like all swordsman, their soul must be in sync with their blade. Or it will be broken easily. If you can't fight like your life depends on it, then game over."

"...!" Eugeo flinched as Kagura teleported to him and then kick him.

Eugeo duck and then sweep kick Kagura but he backflip and then channel a black sphere and throw it at Eugeo where he slash it into two. Kagura swing at him as Eugeo parried and then throw thrust and slashes. Kagura block it calmly until swing at him. Eugeo block and then used Meteor Break to slash him. Kagura smirked from taken the hit. He let out slash rapidly, dealing considerable damage onto Eugeo and then swiftly swing upward as Eugeo was knock away rolling. Eugeo jump and landed on his feet and then lung at Kagura where they swing at each other again.

Eugeo parried Kagura and then crescent kick him but he block with his palm. Eugeo quickly rotate his body for a Meteor Break. Kagura block it calmly, forcing Eugeo to up back. Eugeo then lung and then swing fiercely, Kagura block it calmly and then countered with slamming his Zweihandler to the ground to send out a projection to push Eugeo away.

"Aigh!" He grunted.

Eugeo recovered his ground as Kagura teleported to slash him. Eugeo block and let out swift thrust attacks. Kagura dodge and then grabbed Eugeo's sword for an upperkick.

"Eugh!" Eugeo grunted and then Kagura rotate his body and slash him away. "Augh!"

Eugeo slid and then impale the ground. 'Kirito didn't mention he was really strong! He reminds me when facing Bercouil!'

Kagura swirl his Zweihandler and then send out slash projections. Eugeo block and deflect, through was overwhelm as he slide to his left and then lung at Kagura. They swing at each other fierce, but Kagura was calmly until he Double Spin Kick him, forcing Eugeo to dodge and then kick away. Eugeo's sword glow green and then lung at him Vorpal Strike. Kagura move to his left to slash him, but Eugeo was fast enough to dodge and then used Vertical Square on him to push him away.

"Heh. Not bad." Kagura praised and then throw a punch. Eugeo dodge and slash him. Kagura block it calmly and then slam his Zweihandler to the ground and swing upward for a projection attack.

Eugeo roll to his left and then thrust attack with slashing rapidly until move around Kagura to slash his angle. Kagura calmly block all of his strike and then swirl his Zweihandler overhead and slashing Eugeo away. Eugeo impale the ground.

'Nngh... I don't think I can win against him! If only I can used my sword's strength... like back then...! No... keep calm... you can do this. Think how Kirito did... System does not exist in this world because it's the real world. This world has magic... but if that's the case...' Eugeo thought and then lung at Kagura.

They swing at each other until Eugeo leap over him and then swing down. Kagura block and push him. Eugeo swirl and landed on his feet and then he impale the ground.

'Blue Rose Sword... lend me your strength!' Eugeo thought and then the sword responded with a blue glow produce ice floor toward Kagura.

An ?! appeared over Kagura's head and he slam his Zweihandle to shattered the ice and then Eugeo lung at him. They swing at each other until Eugeo's sword glow and then Horizontal Square. Kagura block it until Eugeo backflip and then send out slash projections. Kagura block it but notice behind him were ice. Eugeo impale the ground and multiple ice vines produce from the ground, aiming toward him. Kagura slash to shattered them until Eugeo lung to slash him.

"Heh. I see." Kagura smirked as he block it and then parried him. "Seems you figure out how to used that sword."

"Yeah. I guess it is now a magic sword." Eugeo nodded.

"Perhaps. But." Kagura teleported in front of him and then punch his stomach. "But you still need more training."

"Gah!" Eugeo winched as he fell to his knees as he impale his sword on the ground for support.

"Eugeo!" Kirito rush to him and then knee down.

"Nngh... I'm fine..." Eugeo slowly getting up with him holding his stomach.

"There's no doubt you got potential as a swordsman, Eugeo." Kagura impale his Zweihandler and lay on it. "But it seems you're rusty. Guess that will be one of my duties to help you regain your form. With that, you pass."

"Pass? Pass for what?"

"I was wondering what was the commotion going on in here." A sweet voice said as came in was Peach and Toadsworth.

(Mario and Luigi Paper Jam ost - Peach's Castle)

"Ah, Princess. You show up at the perfect time." Kagura greeted.

"She's the princess?" Eugeo turn to Kirito who nodded.

"Master Kagura!" Toadsworth was releasing steam from his head. "The Princess was in the middle of her tea! And your ruckus cause a fuss in the castle!"

"Toadsworth, it wasn't that bad." Peach sighed.

"Princess, I beg of you to assist me..."

"Haha. Sorry, Toadsworth. My bad, really. Don't worry, I'll pay for any damages I might have caused. But good news Princess. I found you the perfect retainer."

"A Retainer?" Peach tilt her head.

"Yep." Kagura then approached and then pull Eugeo and place his arm over him. "This guy."

Kirito blinked. "Huh?"

"HUUUUUUUUH?!" Eugeo yelled.

"That's the reason you test Eugeo?"

"That's right." Kagura nodded. "You see, Bowser often kidnapped Peach and Mario and Luigi often rescued her. And Toadsworth always has his great concerns for the princess. It would be best to have his worried be less concerned if Peach has a bodyguard, or rather a retainer who will protect her for many things. But there are some things that will be of great concern in the distant future. Sure the Mario Bros can handle it. But we must prepare if something were to happen to them or they're occupied elsewhere. With Princess Peach having a retainer by her side, it will ease not only Toadsworth worries, but also keep her company if anything Bowser decided to kidnapped him too."

"Master Kaguraaaaaa!" Toadsworth let out the waterworks. "How thoughtful!"

"So you decided to pick Eugeo, Kagura?" Peach asked.

"B-But why me of all people?" Eugeo asked

"We needed someone Peach, Toadsworth, basically everyone can trust to look out for Peach. It will be difficult to search for a perfect candidate to be Peach's retainer. As I am overseeing Peach's military with Jin, I'm busy on my plate. But now that you Eugeo are new to this world who is also apparently looking for a job, I figured you might be the best one for the job." Kagura winked. "What's more, you have potential with your swordplay. And with that sword as well, you might be a great assist. But right now, you lack how to control your sword's power, let alone techniques. So I'll be tutoring you to help you wield your swords power, hone your skills and even help you with some techniques. Of course, you'll get paid handsome for being Peach's retainer. Sounds like a fair deal, wouldn't you say?"

"I... I guess? Honestly, this is just overwhelming."

"Haha! No need to overthink it." Kagura turn to Peach. "So what do you think, Your Highness?"

Peach rub her chin. "Well I suppose I wouldn't mind having a Retainer. And you do pointed out some good facts so I can't argue with you there. Especially dear Toadsworth. So I accept your proposal."

"Excellent." Kagura turn to Eugeo and then rub his hair. "Ready to start your first day of the job?"

"I..."

Kirito let out a whistle. "Congrats, Eugeo! Now you got a perfect job for you!"

"But... am I really cut out for it?"

"Worry not Master Eugeo." Toadsworth tuck his suit. "I believe you will be a fine retainer."

"Well... if you say so. Then I'll accept this job." Eugeo nodded.

"All right!" Kirito place his arm over Eugeo and smirked. "We should celebrate!"

Unknown to them, Kamek was eavedropping and then he teleported away.

Meanwhile in Bowser's Castle...

"Ooh. I see you outdone yourself, Ludwig." Bowser said, staring at the Koopa Cruiser being remodeled. "This baby will be the terror of the skies!"

"Indeed my King. Considering the threats that will pose later date, it would be wise to prepare them ourselves when the times to come." Ludwig nodded his head. "Sparking off. I also will show you with the new and improve system we have in surprises with Kamek's development."

"Your Nastiness!" Kamek teleported in.

"Ah, speak of the devil."

"I came too—" Kamek turn to the Koopa Cruiser. "Oh my, that is one large airship."

"The airship that will rivals Ouroboros so called largest and powerful ships." Bowser smirked. "I can't wait to taste this baby out someday."

"Yes, it is very lovely. But I have something to report. Princess Peach gain a retainer."

"What?" Bowser turn to him with an eyebrow. "Since when does Peach need a retainer?"

"Well in case if we resume our business to kidnapped her. As well as other matters regarding to the future. It's that Swordsman back during Pi'ilo Island. Eugeo is his name. He wields a magical sword that can control ice."

"Bwahahaha! Ice? Please! I can melt his little tricks! If Peach thinks that swordsman can protect him from me, then she will be mistaken!" Bowser laughed. "Let's see what that swordsman can do when the plan to kidnapped Peach and take over the Mushroom Kingdom begins!"

This was long overdue. I meant to bring this up with Eugeo's job. And here it is, he's now the retainer to Peach! I was thinking he would be a bracer but I scratch the idea.
