A Week After the Great Twilight...

Somewhere in the skies was Ouroboros Glorious II. Inside the room was Cedric who was petting his Flareon.
"Haha. You're always so warm and soft Flareon. It brings me back how much I cuddled you when you were an Eevee." Cedric smiled. "That remains me, are you hungry?"
"Flare." Flareon nodded.
"I guess it's lunchtime for you. I should get the others out too." Cedric nodded. "Come on out, everyone!" He toss his Pokeballs and brought out his Garchomp, Luxray, Tyrantrum, and Braviary as they all respond with their cry. "It's time for lunch." He turn to the door. "Maid! Can you bring me—" He then paused until he palm face. "Oh right... I forgot..." He sighed. "What am I even doing?
"Luxray?" Luxray tilt his head.
"I'm all right. I just remembered that I left home with you all. Come on, let's go get some fresh air." He then take off with his Pokemon as they leave the room solemnly.

flashback...
My first months as part of the society were grueling and painful. As well as training under Master Neve to wield the Keyblade... This mysterious yet powerful weapon. I began as an Enforcer candidate and struggled through one ordeal after the next under Shirley's, Noel and Master Neve's watchful eyes. I had thought the training each of them prepared me was enough during my times in Thors... but I was mistaken.

The first day where Cedric's training. In the scene was Shirley, Garth, and Noel are watching the training regiment of the Red Constellation where they see members of the Red Constellation were running at a fast pace. Cedric was behind as he panted.
"*pant* *pant* Th-This is how the Red Constellation trains?"
"Less choking, more moving." Shirley called out
"If this was an actual battlefield, your lollygagging would've killed you. Your royal blood means nothing here." Gareth added
"You think I don't know that?!" Cedric yelled back with a glare.
"Oh quit your bitching and move it." Noel comment.
Gareth was overseeing training the Red Constellation members as Shirley and Cedric face in each in combat. They swing at each other until Shirley disarm Cedric, knocking his Keyblade off his hands and knock him to his knees.
"Ugh..." Cedric panted
"I knew you'd be weaker without the Empyreal Fortress' power, but this is pathetic. I thought the times you have in Thors at least able to keep up with the basic training." Shirley shrug. "Or were you too busy training your Pokemon instead of your form?"
"O-Oh shut up! So what if I am?" Cedric growled, getting back on his feet. "Another round. One more!"
"I'm pretty sure you have Noel's magic lesson, but since you ask. Don't blame me if you fell again." Shirley reaided her stand as Cedric summon his Keyblade.
Cedric lung toward Shirley with an Airstep and slash her, but she block with Testa-Rossa. Cedric over kick Shirley's head, forcing her dodge.
"Oh now we're getting somewhere." Shirley smirked as she jump back and then lung at Cedric.
Eventually, Cedric was defeated as Shirley poked his head with a stick.
"You alive?"
"Ngh... What do you think?" Cedric groaned.
"Oh good, at least you can handle that. Anyway, that's all for today. You don't wanna miss your magic lesson as well as your Keyblade lessons as well. Goodbye." Shirley then take off casually.
"She leaves me... in the dust like it's nothing..." Cedric muttered.
"They sure ain't goin' easy on him just because he used to be a prince, huh?" An Enhance Jaeger asked
"In Ouroboros, only the strong succeed. There is no place for the pampered. Even I struggled to find my feet at first.' Gilbert shrugged. "Well, if he fails to become an Enforcer, I could always use another lackey."
Cedric growled until clapping was heard.
"All right, Cedric. It's time for your magic lessons." Noel called out and then snapped his finger and a water portal appeared underneath.
"Wha—blaawh!" Cedric sink into the portal and arrived in a beach like area. "Oof!"
Noel emerges from the portal. "Playing in the sands already?"
"Oh screw you, Noel!" Cedric getting back on his feet. "Can you give me a break! I just got whoop by Shirley!"
"Fine, I'll give you some break for 15 minutes. After that, we'll begin your magic lessons." Noel conjured water form couch to sit. "You already learn during your time with that magic teacher Konoe but it's time for me to help boost your magic potential. As I told you before. Or you already heard this before, magic is no different than the muscles you have in your body. To increase your magical power, you must train your body, mind, and soul through training. It's no different to warriors who fight with their weapons, techniques, and strength. The more you use magic and train your body, your magical powers will increase."
"Yes. I also know there are multiple various of magic within the universe. Not just the elements."
"You got it. Magic is limitless and can be molded into any form so long as you vision it. It's no different compared to science with the formula. Anyway, let see if your training with the Red Constellation increases your stamina.
And so after Cedric regain some of his strength back and stamina, Cedric throw two fireballs at Cedric who deflect them with his sword. Cedric lung toward Noel to swing at him but he block it calmly, backflip and then send out slash projections. Cedric form a barrier around him and then channel magic into his Keyblade tips and then fire multiple projections. Noel deflected the Projections swiftly and Cedric imbued his Keyblade with fire and then airstep at Noel. They swing at each other as Cedric aim his Keyblade and fire a stream of wind to knock Noel away.
Noel sid with a smirk on his face and then he responded by channeling magical power through his swords tips and fired two large spheres at Cedric.
"Reflect!" Cedric cast Reflect as the spheres interacted with Cedric's barrier and then knock it back to Noel.
Noel dodge it calmly and thence created clones of himself and each one move with insane speed to slash Cedric's angle. Cedric shield himself with his magic until it shattered, forcing him to backflip and then summon a magic circle from behind and each one fire projections toward Noel until he aim his hand and channel a sphere to fired a large laser beam and knock Cedric out of the sky.
"Aaaaaugh!" Cedric yelling and then crash to the ground. "Augh!"
"Well at least I can give you some praise for being creative." Noel shrugged. "But you lack some stamina."
"Well duh! I just had a bout with Shirley 20 minutes!" Cedric complains. "What's with this schedule you and Shirley crafted? Isn't this extreme?"
"Oh? I thought this was flexible. Don't you have something similar in Thors? Two hours of training with the Red Constellation. Two hours of training with me with magic, and then Neve takes you about two hours of training to wield the Keyblade. You get 30-minute break in each day with breakfast, lunch and dinner and resume training until you complete your 12 hours of training in each passing day. That's how the military and jaegers do their training routine."
"I wasn't expecting the Jaegers training to be this rigorous!"
"Well, this is the Red Constellation we're talking about. Their training routine is different compared to the military and Thors scedule. Plus, I thought Thors help you gain some manner of strength through the training you've done. Was I mistaken?" Noel asked with a taunting smirk.
"N-No, but—"
"Then quit complaining. Take your break and we'll resume your lesson to hone your skills." Noel told him. "You're an Enforcer candidate. If you want to become an Enforcer, you must go through several trails. If you cannot complete these trials. That's up to you to decide if you want to drop out or not."
"Nngh..." Cedric grumbled.
Two hours later...
Cedric parried with Neve but Neve dodge calm and gracefully and throw swift thrust attacks at Cedric. He block each one until he backflip to fired his fire magic. Neve swing to deflect and Cedric used Sonic Blade to strike at his master, but he block each angle attack and then unleash a powerful swing to push Cedric back.
"Ngh!" Cedric fell to his knees.
"It would seem training with the Red Constellation and your friend weakened much of your stamina. Perhaps I should take it easy on you." Neve said. "What's more, you left yourself wide open in various of angles."
"O-One more." Cedric getting back on his feet. "One more!"
"No. That's enough. You're too exhausted." Neve made his Keyblade disappear.
"But—"
"No, buts. We'll resume once you regain more stamina. What's more, it appears something is weighing heavily on your mind. Whatever that may be, it's affecting your mind to focus on combat."
"..!" Cedric had a sweat to his cheek as his clench.
"You clearly have much thinking right now. We won't continue until you settle what you have in your mind. We'll take an early break. Once it's over, we'll resume your training. I expect you make peace with your decision."

(Blazblue ost - Mirage)
'I thought I could do better than that. Did I even learn anything at Thors? Was I really to focus on training my Pokemon? How could I not realize I was this... feeble?" Cedric thought as he aim his hand and then summon his Keyblade. 'Was everyone at Thors going easy on me? I thought for sure that I lose my feeble body during my lessons with Master Konoe. Or... maybe it's magic that I'm more suited in combat? If so... then did I really change? Did I really earn this right to wield the Keyblade?" He thought then remember Ada, Fritz, Olivert, Alfin, his father and mother, then Rean and Kurt.
Cedric shook his head. 'No. What am I thinking?! I knew this wouldn't be easy. I didn't choose this expecting anything to be handed to me. If not, I wouldn't be able to wield the Keyblade out of my own right. Maybe Master was right about me having something occupying my thoughts."
"Lux." Luxray rub his head on Cedric's left waist.
"Oh. I'm sorry I worried you, everyone." Cedric petting his Luxray. "I'm having too much in my thoughts, aren't I?"
"Flare..." Flareon trailed off.
Unknown to them, Campanella, Noel, Mariabell, and Novartis were watching from the distance.
"Just like I thought. He's still too soft." Campanella said. "It takes more than a little darkness buried in your heart to become an Enforcer."
"I'm sure the decision he made is still weighing heavily on him." Noel sighed.
"Whether he sinks or swims is entirely up to him at this point." Mariabell replied
"Well here's hoping he can finally resolve his problems if he wish to keep up."
"That reminds me, I heard you went to Shirley with a request, Professor. I know it's understandable for Noel but since when did you two get so cozy."
"Yes—I approached her about creating the ideal condition for an experiment of mine." Novartis answered "I realized her men and Noel have their hands plenty full, but I'm still hopeful they can provide me with some useful data.
"Oh? Now isn't that considerate." Noel mused. "So what do you have plans then?"

Two days later, Shirley and Noel led me to the Ancient Battlefield in Crossbell for reasons I wasn't made privy to. What awaited me was a training exercise harsher than anything they had given me before...
(Trails into Reverie ost - Chaotic Sludge)
"You want me to take on the Red Constellation and a group of enhanced jaegers alone?!" Cedric exclaimed
"Sure do." Shirley nodded. "All you've get to do is survive to the end and give Gareth and Gilbert a good fight."
"Though you won't be alone. You'll have one of your Pokemon accompany you to join and this little one right here." Noel said, turning to the red Sneak Gunner Archaism.
"An Archaism?" Cedric asked in disbelief.
"Yep. This Archaism is a new prototype model to form combat links. He wanted to try testing combat links between people and archaisms. It no differents to form Combat links with someone else or Pokemon Links with your Pokemon. Feel free to use it however you want. Use it as a diversion or something. So be creative. Just like with your magic and your Pokemon."
"Oh, and we also set up gizmos that will insulate the battlefield's sound, so feel free to go ape." Shirley added
"Okay, first off, you two can't think this oversized toy is going to be of any use to me? Second, you want me to endanger my Pokemon with guns and fire?! What's the point of giving me a task that I have no chance of succeeding at?!" Cedric complained
"Oh I'm sorry. I thought I was speaking to a candidate, not a crybaby." Noel rolled his eyes.
"You..!"
"Listen Buster. If you're too much of a wuss to give this a shot, then by all means, you're free to leave."
"We invited you, but no one is forcing you to stay. Wanna run? There's the door—no one here'll come running after you." Shirley told him. "But ask yourself if you wouldn't live to regret it. That's a decision you gotta make for yourself. Not as a prince, but as your own person."
"..!" Cedric responded
"There are some things a person must figure out for yourself. The choices we make define who we are. But right now, your mind is still shackled with what you are. Not for who you are as your own person. If you can't come to terms with it, I'm afraid the two of us can't help you. Like Shirley said, we only invited you. No one is forcing you to say. If you want to call it quits then feel free to leave at any time." Noel said
"Oh, and the front gate's locked. It'd be too easy if it wasn't, so find some other way inside, got it?" Shirley added "And also..."
A gunshot toward Cedric, forcing him to jump.
"What the?!" Cedric flinched
"And there's your cue. Off you go." Noel waved. "Oh, and word of advise, I wouldn't stand in one spot for too long if I were you."
"Yep. 'Cause I told Gareth he's welcome to put you down if he has a clean shot." Shirley smirked
"You must be kidding..." Cedric grumbled. "FINE! I'm going!" He pull out his Pokeball. "Flareon!" he toss his Pokeball and came out Flareon.
"Flareon!" Flareon cried
"Flareon, I need your help. Let's go!" Cedric said as Flareon nodded as he and the Archaism took off.
"You think he's gonna make it?" Noel asked
"Guess we'll find out." Shirley casually wrap her arms behind her head.
(BGM paused)
With Cedric...
Cedric, Flareon and the Archaism were running toward the stairs until he encounter four Red Constellation members.
"Ah, look who's here!" A Red Constellation Jaeger reaided his rifle gun.
(Trails into Reverie ost - Aim a Gun at the Bullet)
"Our orders were not to hold back! Let's get him!" The other yelled
"Damn it!" Cedric summon his Keyblade. "Well, neither will us!" He form a combat link with the Archaism and a Pokemon link with Flareon.
Cedric used Sonic Blade on the Jaegers and struck each one with Flareon followed up with Flame Wheel to push one back. One Jaeger swung his Great Sword at the Archaism who slid back and then fire bullets at him while the rifle Jaeger firing bullets toward Cedric, Flareon and the Archaism, taking damage.
Flareon used Flamethrower as the Jaegers dodge and one pull out and threw a grenade at him. Flareon used Iron Tail to knock it back but it came into contact and exploded, stunning Flareon as Cedric's Combat link ability: Vengeance activated and struck the Jaeger.
The Archaism firing bullets as the Jaegers dodge and the other two Jaeger rifles return fire. Cedric swing at the Jaeger. He blocks it and they swing at each other until one Jaeger jumps and slams the ground. Cedric jump back while the other Jaeger firing bullets at him as the other firing at Flareon and the Archaism.
"Flaaaare!" Flareon Helping Hand to boost Cedric's strength and then he shotlock the Jaegers and then activated his own shotlock attack called: Solaris Tornado
"Take this!" Cedric jump, rotating, and created four tornados made out of fire and aim toward the jaegers. Two Great swords wielders jump out of the way but the Archaism ram one Jaeger to knock into the tornado and exploded.
The Other tornados continue to be in pursuit as one Jaeger fired bullets at Cedric. He used Reflect to reflect the bullets fast and then the other Jaeger swing his greatsword at him to knock him away. Flareon used Flare Blitz to knock the Jaeger back and the Archaism follow up by firing bullets.
The Jager fired bullets at Flareon as the other Jaeger throw grenades toward the Archaism and Flareon, taking the hits and then one Jaeger swing fiercely against Flareon to knock it away.
"Flare!" Flareon grunted and then glared.
Cedric airstep and then swings fiercely against the Jaeger and knocks him away.
The Other Greatsword Jaeger lung and swing at Cedric. He blocks and they swing at each other until the Jaeger block Cedric's strike and then kick him as the other Jaeger shoots bullets and strikes him.
"Augh!" Cedric grunted as Flareon fired Flamethrower toward the two Jaegers.
The two jaegers jump and one throw a genede at Flareon while the jaeger lung to swing at him. Flareon dodge the swing from the Jaeger and counters with Iron Tail and the Jaeger firing his bullets. But the Archaism fire bullets on him instead. Flareon used Flame Wheel to ram the Jaeger to push him back and then Cedric follow up the attack with rapid thrust and then a spin slash to push the Jaeger and the other away.
Cedric send out slash projections toward the Jaeger but he deflect them while the other one shoot bullets. Cedric swirl his Keyblade to form into a spinning shield and deflect them. Until he spotted a Jaeger go for a slam attack. Cedric block with his Keyblade but knee down because of the Jaeger's strength and then the other Rifle Jaeger throw a grenade at him. The Jaeger jump off and then exploded.
"Augh!" Cedric was knock on his butt. "D-Dirty trick!"
"Hooo!" The upcoming Jaeger charge at Cedric for a swing but the Archaism fire bullets to halt it and then Flareon used Scary Face to weaken its speed. "Ngh..."
Cedric got back on his feet and then imbued his Keyblade with fire, lung and then unleash a flurry of slashes at the Jaeger and then slash through him.
"Augh!" The Jaeger fell to his knees.
Two Rifle jaegers firing bullets but Cedric reflect it back with Reflect. Flareon then used Quick Attack to knock one Jaeger on the ground and Iron Tail the next. Cedric used his craft: Talisman Blade to pull the Jaegers into a sphere, trapping them, then swing and sending a three-slash combo and destroying the sphere in a fiery explosion.
The Other Jaeger lung and swing at Cedric. He block it but was knock away sliding. The Jaeger slam the ground to create a fissure toward him and then erupted.
"Tch!" Cedric grunted as Flareon used Flamethrower to push the Jaeger and the Archaism firing bullets.
Cedric aim his Keyblade and fired Fire magic and exploded on the Jaeger.
Cedric notice a Jaeger readied his rifle and begin firing at him. Cedric rolled to his left while the other firing at him, Flareon and the Archaism and taken considerable damage. Cedtic lung toward the Jaegers and swing at them. But block while the other jump back and fire at him. Cedric roll to his left and then he fired a beam of magic and knock the Jaeger back. The Rifle Jaeger shoot bullets at Cedric.
Cedric jump high enough and then go for a drill attack. The Jaeger jump to his left and then Flareon used Flare Blizt to knock the Jaeger away and then Cedric throw thrust projections to attack the Jaeger and then sent out projection and struck the blow
"Uagh!" The Jaeger roll on the floor.
One Jaeger cartwheel slam at Cedric, forcing him to rolled as Flareon used Flamethrower at him. The Jaeger dodge and then lung and swing at Flareon, knocking him away and the Archaism shoot bullets. The Jaeger shield himself and then swing at the Archaism, knocking it away. Cedric shotlock the Jaeget an activated his Shotlock: Solaris Tornado as he jump into the air and multiple fiery tornados rotate around. Then aim his Keyblade at the Jaeger. The tornados aim toward the Jarger.
The Jaeger swing to deflect one but the tornados exploded on him. Then Cedric's Keyblade tip generated a small fiery ball and then shoot an enormous fiery tornado to deal devastating damage on the jaeger.
"Aaaaaugh!" The Jaeger yelled in agony and then fell to his knees.
The final Jaeger throw grenades at Cedric, but he airstep to the Jaegers and unleash a flurry of slashes at him and then finish him off by slashing through him.
"Augh!" The Jaeger fell to the floor. "Ooh..."
(BGM paused)
(Resuming Chaotic Sludge)
Cedric panted with sweats coming on his cheek. "How can even rank-and-file jaegers be this strong?"
"Flare." Flareon hop toward him.
"At least you're okay, Flareon. But it isn't over yet. Come on. Let's go." Cedric said as he, Flareon and the Archaism climb up the stairs and then headed to the next area, but Cedric sense an attack along with Flareon.
They jumped to the nearby wall as gunfire were standing where they were from.
(BGM paused)
(Trails into Reverie ost - Be Caught Up!)
"Ugh!" Cedric grumbled as the Jaeger then fire another set, forcing Cedric to take cover again with Flareon.
Cedric commanded the Archaism to fire bullets toward the Jaeger. The Jaegers jump back.
"Heh. The kid's reflexes ain't too shabby."
"With that Pokemon of his. No wonder the commander sees potential in him."
"Hey!" Cedric came out of hiding. "How is this even a fair fight?! Hoe do you expect anyone to win when they're outnumbered by—" Cedric was interrupted then the Jaegers firing at him, forcing him to jump away. "HEY! Do you know who you're shooting at?!"
"I don't know. Who ARE we shooting at?" One Red Constellation Jaeger asked sarcastically.
"And what are you going to do about it?" The other asked
"Rgh...!" Cedric clench his teeth.
"All I see is a target to hunt down, so that's what we're gonna do."
"Keep your head on a swivel if you don't want to lose it." The other appeared from the left begin firing at Cedric, forcing him to backflip..
"Grr... Flareon! Archaism!" Cedric let out his warcry as he, Flareon and the Archaism charge toward the Jaegers for combat.
The Archaism begin firing toward the Jaegers who shield themselves and then Cedric slash through them, following up with rapid thrust attacks and then firing a stream fo fire to knock them away as Flareon added Flamethrower to fuel the fire. They keep going until they ran into a group of Red Constellation Jaegers who are firing at him. Cedric used reflect anf then he airstep, unleashing a flurry of strikes and then rain down multiple fireballs as Flareon and the Archaism throw bullets and Fire Blast.
Cedric then rush toward the area until he was ambushed by more Red Constellation members. The rifle users fire bullets as Cedric dodge with Flareon. The Archaism fire bullets and Flareon used Flamethrower. The Jaegers dodge and return fire. Cedric used Aeros to form a shield and then he used Sonic Blade. They dodge until channel magical power from his hand and then fire a beam of magic to push them away. Flareon used Scary Face to restrain them and then Cedric shotlock them and multiple firey tornados aim and a stream of fire shoot next, causing a large fiery explosion.
Cedric heard more footsteps, causing him to growled as he look around and spotted a hide out he can used. He jump to reach it as Flareon and the Archaism join him. Cedric channel magic to the tip of his Keyblade and fire multiple projections toward the jaegers and force them to dodged. Cedric took cover and look around. He ran off with Flareon and the Archaism until he stop and hide as Jaegers patrolling the area. Cedric commanded the Archaism to get their attention by firing bullets. Once it did, they responded back as Flareon jump in and used Fire Blast. The Jaegers jump out of the way, allowing Cedric to run to find a good spot to hide. Cedric found a ruins to use to take shelter as he, the Archaism and Flareon rest for a bit.
'*Pant* This isn't like any training I've been subjected to in my whole life! Are those two trying to kill me!? Ugh, I should have stay with Master Neve instead! What's the point of having me hunted like a wild animal?!" Cedric thought until he discovered a ruins leading down. He head down with his partners until he spotted Jaegers begin firing at him. He took corner to the wall.
Flareon and the Archaism charge in and used Flamethrower and bullets and then Cedric follow up by charging into battle, moving swiftly. slashing and knocking the Jaegers on their butts. The Rifles were firing until he dodge each one by jumping to the next corner and then he raised his Keyblade for Thunder Magic. Magic circles appeared between Cedric and shoot laser beams at them as Flareon used Fire Blast, splitting the jaegers up.
Cedric aim his hand and used his magic to form a rock wall to take cover.
'This is absurd! I'm Cedric Reise Arnor! I shouldn't be subjected to a fight for my life like this!' Cedric thought and then look around for another exit. He spotted it and then ran toward it as the Jaegers were charging at him. Cedric then stop them by throwing magic beams.
Cedric climb up the stairs and made it outside. Before he can go any further, he sense an attack and hide to the corner from the bullet.
"Ngh..." Cedric panted. "Why is this happening to me?! What did ever I do to—" He paused for a moment and recalled his actions back in the Great Twilight. "Oh..." He palm face. "Heh... Haha... I'm such a fool. It's no wonder Master Neve scolded me. This is what he was talking about. I still think that I am a prince of the Imperial family and not somebody else. A prince who is inspired to become a hero! People have been sent to Gehenna for FAR less than the unspeakable crimes I've committed over the last year! And don't even try to say that you were 'just being manipulated,' or 'was under the control of a witch' Cedric. You did it because you WANTED to. It was your own will, your own desire, that led you to go astray, help start a war, then finally end up in the society."
"Flare...?" Flareon looking at him with concern.
"I'm all right, Flareon." Cedric then petted Flareon's head. "I just realized that I need to grow up and start taking responsibility for my own life. I'm no longer Cedric Reise Arnor. Just Cedric: an unjustly proud, no-good fool. I turned my back on my friends, family, broke promises and country the moment I choose this path. That's what they've been trying to get through my think skull this entire time." Cedric then look with determination. "So I refuse to die like a worthless dog out here. I won't let that happen. It would be an insult to them after all they've done for me! Will you stay by my side, Flareon? Even though I was a stupid fool?"
"Flare. Flareon, Flare." Flareon let out a smile and nodded his head.
"Flareon..." Cedric smiled. "You, and every one of my Pokemon are truly my family."
Then Cedric notice a Jaeger charge at him for a slash. Cedric parried and then slash through the Jaeger Then he was cornered by Enhanced Jaegers. Cedric hold his ground and look with determination.
"Huh?" An Enhance Jarger asked
"Surrendering?" The other asked
Cedric smirked. "Haha. I do believe that's my line. Because if you don't, then I'm going to cut you down where you stand!" He took his stand. "Now come at me!"
Cedric imbued his Keyblade with fire and then he lung and slash through an Enhanced Jaeger.
"Augh!" He yelled in agony as he fell on his back.
The jaegers readied to fire but the Archaism fire bullets while Flareon used Flamethrower to force them back. The Enhanced Jargers charge at Cedric, Flareon and the Archaism but Cedric use Sonic Blade to strike each one and then Flareon used Flamewheel to Knock one down and the other while the Archaism firing bullets. Cedric cast Magnet to pull the Jaegers together and then unelash a flurry of slashes and struck them all down.
Cedric pulls out Max Elixir and feeds Flareon, then pulls out Sitris Berry and Flareon chew down and heal.
"Ready, Flareon?" Cedric asked as Flareon nodded.
"Flare."
"Then let's end this." Cedric then take off with Flareon and the Archaism.
(BGM paused)
Eventually, Cedric came to the finish point where Garath and Gilberd were waiting.
"About time." Garath said
"So you managed to make it here after all." Gilbert clapped sarcastically. "To be honest, I didn't think you'd still be in one piece."
"I wouldn't be if I'd tried to fight them all at once. I'm wise enough to know how to scatter the enemy and slip by them. It's a basic military tactic that I learned at the academy." Cedric respond

"Now all that's left is defeating you two and I'll have passed. Don't expect me to take it easy on you." Cedric readied his Keyblade.
Gilbert gulped. "I-Is it me, or is there something different about you?"
"You finally found the resolve to face your fate head-on." Garath let out a proud smirk. "Good— then I will respond in kind. You shall be tested by the Blitz as the young miss ordered."
"Have it your way." Cedric smirked. "Test me as you see fit!"
"I-I still don't get the whole flip in attitude, but fine!" Gilbert took his stand. "You're about to learn that the world is a cold, cruel place! I, Gilbert Stein, regimental commander of the 6th Enhanced Jaeger Brigade, shall be your tutor!"
Cedric's Trial - Gilbert and Gareths
Cedric form his Combat link with the Archaism and Pokemon link with Flareon.
Cedric lung toward Gilbert and slash him. Gilbert block with his Rifle as the Enhanced Jaeger swing at him. Cedric backflip as Flareon charge with an Iron Tail attack to push him away. Garath begin shooting at Flareon, but he dodge as the Archaism begin firing bullets at Gilbert and the Enhanced Jaegers. Gilbert begin firing toward Cedric and the Archaism. Cedric jump to his left and then lung and thrust attack rapidly and then knock Gilbert away with a slash.
"Augh!" He winched as the two Enhanced Jargers rush toward Cedric.
One swing at Cedric as he block and parried. Garath firing a shot at him and hit Cedric's arm.
"Tch!" Cedric growled as he kick the Jaeger back as Garath fired again.
Gilbert begin firing at him but Cedric move to his left as the two enhanced Jargers run toward him and each one slash at him. Cedric dodge both attacks and then swing with a slash combo on the Jaegers and a thrust attack to push them away. Flareon follow up with Flamel Wheel on one Jaeger.
The Archaism firing bullets at them as the two Jaegers shield themselves. Gareth's firing at the Archaism and taken damage. Gilbert begin running around to his left and firing at Cedric. Cedric swirl his Keyblade into a spinning shield and then airstep toward him and combo strike him and then Double kick his face.
"Ouch!" Gilbert winched and then Cedric aim his Keyblade and fired
Garath fired a clear shot at Flareon but he dodge and then jump and used Fire Blast. Garath jump out of the way as the Archaism begin firing toward the Enhance Jaegers. They block as they charge toward the Archaism and swing their sword. It dodge but end up taking the hit as Flareon used Quick Attack to knock one and then used Fire Fang.
"Aaaugh! Get it off! Get it off!" The Enhance Jarger shaking Flareon off his arm and then exploded. "Aaaugh!"
Flareon backflip and the Archaism firing bullets at the Jaegers. Gilbert swing his rifle and then fire at Cedric, but he deflected the shots and then perform a combo strike by slashing left, right and then form a three slash projection to push Gilbert away. Cedric then shotlock Gilbert and then used Solaris Tornado as he sent out multiple fiery tornados and exploded when contact with Gilbert. Lastly, a large beam of fired shoot from his hand and cause a fiery vortex explosion.
"AAAAAAAAAGH!" Gilbert yelling in agony, covering his body with steam coming out. "I-I'm not finished yet!"
Before Cedric can respond, he notice the grenade was toss. Cedric backflip high enough and then see the Jaeger. He Airstep and then unleash a flurry of slashes. The Jaeger block some of them until Cedric slahs through him.
"Augh!" He grunted as he see Flareon and the Archaism dodge and counterattack the other jaeger. Flareon used Quick Attack and the Arcaism finish it off with firing bullets.
"Ough!" He grunted and fell to his knees.
"M-Men?! Already?!" Gilbert panicked and then begin firing toward Flareon and the Archaism.
Cedric aim his hand to form a firewall to repell the bullets and then said wall molded into a large sphere and toss toward him. Gilbert jump out of the way and then Cedric gather magical power around him, raised his arm and channel a sphere. Garath begin firing toward Cedric but he jump back and then throw the sphere of magic energy toward Gilbert.
"Waaaah!' Gilbert—being a complete pussy and all bark and no bite as he is— run away as the sphere was lock onto him.
Flareon used Quick Attack and knock Gilbert into the sphere and cause a powerful explosion.
"AAAAAAAGH!" Gilbert screamed in agony and then fell on the ground.
(BGM ended)
(Resuming Chaotic Sludge)
Garath smirked. "Heh. Well done."
"Nngh... N-No Fair!" Gilbert groaning and got back on his feet. "You used magic in this fight! How is that playing fair?"
"Oh?" Cedric raised an eyebrow. "You're complaining to me about being "fair?" I seem to recall lessons that on the battlefield, there is no such thing as fairness. It's a life-and-death situation. As the saying goes, "All is fair in love and war." Plus, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of magic users among the society and the world. So you can't complain about that."
"Grr... Damn Newbie acting like he owns the place!"
"Oh? Since when has the society's hierarchy been based on seniority?" Cedric let out a smirk. "But no need to look so glum— I'll be certain to find a suitable use for you as an Enforcer."
Two ! appeared over Gilbert's head. "I-I will NOT stand for this!"
The Enhanced Jaeger sweatdrop. "Commander?"
"The battle is over, sir. I think we should accept—"
"I'm not accepting anything! I will not be walked all over by THIS TWERP!" Gilbert got back on his feet. "To my side, G-Apache!"
(BGM ended)
And then his Archaism personal aircraft landed behind him and Gilbert backflip and landed on the controls.

"So this is your personal aircraft I've heard so much about, hmm?" Cedric mused.
"Hahaha! Is it that intimidating?" Gilbert smirked. 'Good! It's going to teach you some respect, newbie! Watch and learn how a REAL Ouroboros veteran fights!"
Garath in the distant readied his sniper. "All right. This has gone on long enough."
"Let him have his fun, Garath." Shirley approached with Noel.
"Are you sure?"
"Our boy wants to be an Enforcer, yeah? Tjen let him fight his own battles. This is a good chance to see what he can do."
"Plus, I want to see him teach Gilbert a lesson about being too arrogant and for his incompetence. The Society hierarchy is not based on seniority but willing thrust. Since Gilbert is too much of an imbecile to completely understand that, it's time to put him in his place." Noel agreed.
Cedric let out a small chuckled. "Heh. Noel wasn't joking about you. You really are a sore loser."
"Wha—?!" Gilbert growled
"Still, very well. I'll attend your little 'class'. And once I gradtude, I'll show you that I'm done being used! From now on, I'll live life by my terms!"
The Sore Loser - Gilbert
Cedric continued his Pokemon Link and Combat link with the Archaism and Flareon.
"Haha! Take this!" Gilbert firing bullets at Cedric but he used Reflect to reflect them. "Ah!"
Cedric then used Sonic Blade to strike repeatedly and then shotlock with Solaris Tornado while Flareon used Fire Blast to cause a fiery explosion. The Archaism fire bullets toward Gilbert's shield protector.
'Grr! Take this!" Gilbert tap a few buttons and then begin firing laser toward Cedric, Flareon and the Archaism.
Cedric roll to his left as Flareon dodge with the Archaism and then Gilbert charges toward Cedric to ram him. Cedric jump high enough to avoid it, then he airstep at Gilbert and unleash a flurry of slashes at him. Flareon used Flamewheel and strike. Gilbert spin around, firing bullets and then fireing laser. Cedric shield himself as Flareon dodge while the Archaism taken some hits.
Cedric cast Flare Butterfly and struck on Gilbert. Gilbert then shoot special grenedes at Cedric, but he used wind magic to blow them away to him and exploded.
"Grrr! Take this you newbie!" Gilbert yelled and firing lasers at him. Cedric move to his left as Flareon jump and launch Fire Blast. "Whoa!" Gilbert shifted his aircraft to move back as the Fire Blast exploded. "Take this you furry—" Cedric swoop in for a slash. "Augh!"
"No one touch my Flareon until I say so." Cedric said calmly but intimidating and then rapid thrust and then slash.
Gilbert press a few buttons and then fire multiple bullets at Cedric. He and Flareon dodge as the Archaism firing bullets at him. Gilbert turn to the Archaism and charge for a ram attack. Cedric aim his Keyblade and fire a stream of fire to push Gilbert and his flying aircraft back. Flareon used Helping Hand to increase Cedric's strength and then he raised his Keyblade, imbuing it with fire, forming into a firey tornado.
'Purgatory Saber!" Cedric thrust, unleashing fiery thrust projections attack from his S-Craft and struck a powerful blow on Gilbert.
"Augh!" Gilbert yelled. "Grrr! I won't lose to the likes of you!"
Gilbert increase his Archaism speed and then rush toward Cedric and firing rapid bullets around him, Flareon and the Archaism. Cedric form a barrier around them until Gilbert charge to slammed them.
"Grr!' Cedric holding out until he notice the charging cannon.
"This is about to get real!" Gilbert laughed and fire a powerful laser beam to knock Cedric, Flareon and the Archaism away.
"Nngh." Cedric grunted and then glared at Gilbert.
"Haha! Not so cute, are you?" Gilbert taught and then move around swiftly and then firing bullets once more.
Cedric impale the ground with his Keyblade and unleash multiple magic circles and each one shoot beams of fire.
"Whoa!" Gilbert exclaimed as he move out of the way.
"Flareon, Scary Face!" Cedric command
"Flare." Flareon's eyes glow blue, unleashing intimidation.
"Eeeeek!" Gilbert flinched as the Archaism got closer to Gilbert and firing at his aircraft. "Nngh!"
Cedric took his step and then take off with speed, leaving a trails of wind behind. Cedric slash around the Archaism aircraft. Gilbert rotate to fend off Cedric's attack. Cedric backflip and then summon multiple large fireballs and then throw them at him. Gilbert move seiftly to avoid each fireballs as it explode in contacts. Gilbert fired a laser beam at him but Cedric aim his Keyblade and fire a beam of light to intercept.
Flareon using this chance jump toward Gilbert who was too busy being distracted and used Fire Fang on the Aircraft and exploded.
"Augh!" Gilbert exclaimed.
The Archaism firing bullets on the other side. Cedric then move to his left and the beam went past him. Cedric then place his hand on the ground and then cast a magic circle where a blazing tornado appeared and surrounded Gilbert.
"Wha—owowowowowowwowo!" Gilbert winched form the damage and then Cedric lung, slashing around every angle as he goes and then raise his Keyblade to summon two large ice cubes, two stones shape blocks, two spheres of wind, blades of lightning, two spears of water and then two large fireballs. Cedric aim his Keyblade and each one were thrown at him. "Aaaah!" Gilbert turn pale and then move swiftly with his Archaism aircraft as each one came into contact on the ground and exploded.
Cedric smirked, snapping his finger and then cast Gravity magic and struck on Gilbert.
"Wh—Oough!" Gilbert was then struck by the two spears of water and blades of winds.
"I believe this is over." Cedric's aura glowed and then readied his Keyblade. He rush toward Gilbert with great speed. He slash through Gilbert, then spinning clockwise to his left with a slash, rapid thrust attack, slash through once more, clockwise and finish it with a powerful thrust with a powerful force seen from behind the Archaism.
"NOOOOOOO! This can't be happening!" Gilbert and his Arcaism flip upside down repeatedly until slam on the ground as part of it explodes.

"Ooough..." Gilbert whimpered.
An Enhanced Jaeger palmface. "And there he does again."
(Trails into Reverie ost - Raindrops with the Wind)
Cedric made his Keyblade disappeared. "Phew."
"Not bad." Shirley clapped as she and Noel approached. "See? You can do it if you put your mind to it."
"I hope you aren't implying that this was in any way a challenge." Cedric replied. "My goal is to be an Enforcer. Small fry like him won't stand in my way."
Noel chuckled. "Haha! Look at you being so confident. I like that. And it looks like you finally got rid of what's bothering your mind too. You finally got it through your skull, haven't you?"
"Yes. Sorry for being such a slow learner."
"Ah, don't worry about it. So lung as you finally woke up." Shirley smiled. "You should keep fighting like your life depends on it. That's the most fun way to live if you ask me."
"I can't say that sounds very temping, knowing your twisted sense of fun." Cedric replied
"He's got you there." Noel chuckled.
"But very well. I welcome any challenge."
"Excellent. In that case, I got a good challenge for you. But right now, you deserve a break. Best not to overdo it." Noel said.
Then clapping was heard as they turn to the direction and see Neve on the cliff.
"Oh!" Cedric gasped.
"It seems you finally settled the issue with yourself, Cedric. Well done." Neve hop and landed in front of him. "Though late than expected."
"Haha. Apologizes Master. How did I do in that performance?"
"Your stamina needs improving as well as striking and holding up your guard but you did well. You pass as they say. With that. I beleive it's time for you to learn formchange."
"Formchange?" Cedric turn his head.
"It's an ability where you can change the form of your Keyblade and alter a bit of your clothes and power. You already understand the basic of airstep, but you still have much to improve. Your handle with magic is good. If you can combine that with your form and strikes, then you'll catch up to me. You made me proud. If you keep at it, I'll teach you more about summoning and new magic."
"I see. Thank you, master." Cedric smiled. "I promise I will work hard to your expectations."
"I should expect nothing less from my pupil." Neve nodded his head with a slight glance of a smile.
'The Path I've chosen is in no way righteous, but it is the right path for me. I must learn to walk it and continue forward—even when I'm separated from those who care for me. I've no right to thank any of you, let alone face you and ask for your forgiveness. However, Kurt, Alfin, Olivert, Princess Peach, Star Spirits and Rean... I still...'
In Star Haven...
The Star Spirits were watching Cedric from their observation.
"Looks like he finally found his resolve and left his past behind." Muskular said with his smirk.
"Yes. No longer he's shackled and burden of a prince. But I'm still concern for the path he has chosen." Misstar said.
"I'm afraid that Maleficent actions cause a great number of sorrows in his heart." Skolar muttered
"Alas, there is nothing we can do but watch over him." Eldstar close his eyes. "He has chosen his path of darkness... yet also a path of dawn. It is no different to Keyblade Master Riku."
"Yes, you're right." Mamar nodded. "Cedric will learn to be true to himself. But I do hope his path doesn't lead him to where he sinks deep into darkness."
"But I have a good feeling that Cedric will be all right. Although I expect that his past will catch up to him at some point." Klevar replied.
"Yes. But Cedric has become a fine human child. Though he abandoned his own life to start anew, he will learn to become bright star as he explores more of the world." Kalmar said
Eldstar nodded. "Yes. Children of man must learn to throw and explore the outside world. See it's lore and beauty. Let us pray that Cedric chooses his path rightly and evolves into something beautiful."
