Chapter 6: Start of Honesty
Naruto hummed as he cooked breakfast, a bright smile on his face.
It was quite early, the sun barely up, but he had everything ready for school, all he had to do was change into some clean clothes before he had to leave.
"Good morning, Naruto." One of the sisters greeted when she entered. "You are up quite early. Couldn't sleep?"
"You could say that." Naruto replied in a happy go lucky tone.
The sister quirked an eyebrow at Naruto's tone.
'He sounds so… happy. I can't remember the last time he showed this kind of happiness.' She thought as she joined Naruto in cooking breakfast.
Loona's Room…
With her door locked, Loona lay in her bed in her true form, her tail swaying back and forth happily as she felt giddy while her ears lay flat on her head.
'I have a boyfriend…' She gushed, closing her eyes as she hugged herself.
Flashback…
"Loona…" Naruto gasped as he looked her in the eyes, Loona seeing them watering. "What are we?"
"What do you mean?" Loona replied tiredly as she pushed off, shuddering violently as she felt his flaccid dick was pulled out of her quivering crotch, their combined cum spilling out from her and onto the desk.
"Are we a couple?" Naruto nervously asked as he started to shake when Loona's eyes widened. "I mean… after this…'
Loona's finger pressed itself against his lips.
"Are you stupid?" She asked with a serious look on her face.
Loona was taken aback from the defeated look on his face.
'Oh shit, he is thinking I am rejecting him.' Loona thought in a panic, but forced herself to stay calm.

His eyes lit up, watering at the ends before Naruto's mouth became a wavering smile.
"Do… You… Do you mean it?" He asked meekly, his voice cracked.
Loona cupped his face and nodded.
"I love you, Naruto Uzumaki." Loona told him, blushing. 'Oh god, I said Love.'
Her heart fluttered as Naruto grabbed her hand, laughing as tears of happiness dripped down his cheeks and onto her neck.
"I love you too, Loona… Uhm…"
"Carni'val."
"I love you, Loona Carni'val." Naruto said as he leaned in and kissed her.
Flashback End…
Loona rolled back and forth on her bed, internally squealing.
'I have a boyfriend!' She mentally shouted again, sitting up, making the blanket fall from her nude body.
She walked toward the small pile of clothes Naruto was lending her, only to walk in front of the mirror and stop.
Loona slowly looked into the mirror, her happiness and heart starting to drop.
'But I still haven't told him about…' Loona thought as she looked at her mirror double. 'How will he take it? He will probably freak out… but he loves me, so if I tell him and be honest, maybe… just maybe he won't?'
A fearful hope took root in her soul at that moment, running a chill down her spine.
Aburame Household…
*RING, RING*
"Shino…"
"I got it." Shino said as he reached for his phone, he was reading the newspaper, and looked at it. 'A text from Naruto?'

Gaara's House…
Gaara dragged himself, partially dressed, out of his room.
The sound of the TV going on in the living room, partially drowning out the snores of his father sleeping in his chair.
'Lousy drunk.' Gaara thought negatively as he passed the living room and entered the kitchen to see Temari making breakfast.
"Morning." Temari greeted her baby brother, hugging Gaara before handing him a paper plate of eggs and bacon.
"Morning…' He grumbled as he sat at the table, taking a plastic fork and began eating.
"Did you sleep well?" Temari asked him as she sat down, a sense of dread coming over her as she looked at the empty third chair.
The chair which their brother Kankuro would occupy… if he wasn't in jail.
"As well as I can with insomnia and sleep apnea." Gaara told her blandly.
Temari faltered, but kept her cheery demeanor.
"Temari…" Gaara spoke, drawing her attention. "Kankuro told you, and now I am…"
His teal eyes met hers.
"Mother died giving birth to me, so you don't need to be the 'mother' figure in my life." He told her, seeing the small step back Temari took with these words.
"Being the 'mother', Gaara I am not doing anything like that." Temari stammered in a small panic.
Gaara didn't press the matter, but dully nodded in false agreement.
'I am happy you have your boyfriend, but you still try to keep our broken family together, when you don't need to…' Gaara thought as his phone went off.
Gaara opened his phone and saw that he received a text message from Naruto.
Hey Gaara, I was wondering if you would like to hang out after school today at my place? - N
Gaara glanced up at Temari, who was eating her eggs, and then glanced at the living room where their dad was currently in a drunk slumber.
Sure, I am game. - G
Hour Later…
"BYE NARUTO!" the children said in unison as Naruto walked out of the house with lots of pep in his step.
"See you in a few hours!" Naruto called out as he waved at them, the workers, and Loona, who winked at him.
Naruto blushed as he turned, head held high.
Nothing was going to ruin his day.
Skip, School Break…
"You want me to take you to the beach for a concert for who?" Naruto asked Hinata.
Hinata had gotten his attention after he grabbed the materials from his locker, and moved to a location where there was no one around.
"Yeah, it is pretty cheap." Hinata said as she handed Naruto a piece of paper. "Apparently they are a traveling band that performs when they can."
"Verosika Mayday…" Naruto said as he looked at the poster, not liking the extremely lewd image on the poster. "Only ten dollars per admission… Do I have a choice?"
"Nope." Hinata said as she walked off, as the bell was going to ring soon. "It is this Saturday at the park near the Ice Arena. See you there, Stray Dog~"
She walked off, putting lot of sway in her hips.
Naruto face palmed.
'I need to tell Loona about this…' Naruto thought, a deep chill going up his spine. 'Would she be angry? Most likely…'
Meanwhile, Orphanage…
"You want to know about Naruto's parents?" the patron asked Loona as he watered his garden.
Behind him and Loona were the children being tended to by the sisters, playing on the small playset Naruto and the Patron had built together a few months prior.
"Yes, Naruto never talks about his parents," Loona said as she held up a picture she took from Naruto's room. "And I would like to know so I don't trigger any bad memories."
The picture in her hands was small, a wallet picture really.
It had Minato and a heavily pregnant Kushina, who was eating ramen while she sat on Minato's lap, who was holding her belly. Both smiling happily.
The patron sighed as he got on his knees to pull some weeds.
"His mother, Kushina, died giving birth." The patron told Loona. "His father, Minato, passed away in a car accident. Naruto was seven, and he was the only survivor of that drunk driving accident."
Loona's eyes widened.
"Naruto and I have talked about it a few times, and it seems tha over the years, Naruto is forgetting pieces of that night…" the patron grumbled as he stood on his knees. "I think it is for the best. Especially with all the trouble he is going through currently."
He looked at Loona with a serious eye.
"Make sure to not mention this to him, Naruto prefers to keep this private."
"I understand." Loona said as she turned to put the picture back.
She walked through the kitchen, stopping in her tracks.
'Naruto always buys lunch…' She thought, smiling as a thought formed in her head.
Skip, Fourth Period…
"Here." Iruka handed Naruto an envelope as the bell rang.
"What is this?"
"It is a chaperone paper for that 'Special Someone' to be a chaperone for homecoming." Iruka explained. "I wanted them to just have a pass, but chaperone was the best I could do."
Naruto blinked stupidly.
'Loona is allowed to come to homecoming?' He thought.
"Well, you don't…"
Iruka was cut off when Naruto hugged him.
"THANK YOU!" Naruto thanked before he broke off the hug. "Later, Iruka, this means a lot but LUNCH!"
Iruka waved Naruto off with a smile as the blonde teen ran out of his room.
Naruto jumped down several stairs, doing a superhero landing as he did.
'My knees!' Naruto thought as he got up, heading to the cafeteria.
"Hey, Naruto… what are you wearing?" Gaara asked as he approached his friend.
"What? You don't like the Gorillaz?" Naruto asked as he showed off his Gorillaz: Demon Days shirt.
"Never heard of them." Gaara muttered as they headed to the cafeteria to meet Shino.
"NARUTO!"
Naruto winced, very visibly, when he heard a familiar voice call out his name.
"Loona?" Naruto asked in dread as he turned and saw his girlfriend walking toward him.
She was wearing jean shorts, a red flannel shirt with the sleeves folded at the elbow, with several buttons undone to expose her stomach.
But what was embarrassing was the fact Loona had false dog ears on a hairband and a false tail attached to her belt.
Naruto blushed as she approached him.
"Naruto, who is this?" Gaara asked as he blushed.
"I'd like to know that too…" Shino interjected as he entered the fray. "Amongst everyone else…"
Naruto could feel it.
Dozen's of eyes on him as Loona walked up to him.
"What's with that face?" Loona asked him, pouting as she handed Naruto a paper bag. "You upset that I came to give you a hand made lunch?"
"Lunch?" Naruto stupidly replied.
"yeah, I decided to make you lunch." Loona said chipperly.
"Naruto, who is this?"
"Uhm… I was going to introduce you guys later, but this is Loona Carni'val, my girlfriend." Naruto whispered that last part. "She works with me at the orphanage." He turned to Loona. "Loona, these are my friends. Gaara Sabaku and Shino Aburame."
"Nice to meet you." Loona said with a polite wave. "Sadly, I got to go, the school only allowed me to stay on campus until I gave Naruto his lunch, so I have to leave."
She got in real close to Naruto, kissing his cheek.
"I'll see you after school," She whispered. "My World."
"My Moon." Naruto replied as he handed Loona the envelope Iruka gave him. "This is for the dance, read it later."
Loona winked and walked away, swaying her hips, drawing Naruto's eyes, amongst others.
"Wow, I didn't expect you to have a woman, Naruto." Shino admitted. "She is beautiful, but…" Shino pulled out his phone. "Not as beautiful as my Fuu."
Shino showed a picture of him on a beach with a tan female with mint green hair and orange eyes wearing a one piece.
"She is cute." Naruto congratulated.
"Damn, and here I thought we were all single." Gaara pouted as they walked to the cafeteria.
"Don't be too hard on yourself, Gaara." Naruto said as he patted his friend on the back. "There is someone out there for you, just waiting to meet."
Gaara rolled his eyes.
"If you say so."
Orphanage…
"I am going to chaperone Naruto's Homecoming next week, if that is okay." Loona told the Patron.
"It is fine with me, besides," the Patron said with a sly look. "Naruto would probably like to go with his girlfriend than his friend."
Loona's eyes bulged as she blushed.
"You…"
"I can tell by the way you two act around each other." The patron chuckled. "Yeah, you two 'meeting at a party' by 'coincidence'. You two have been dating a while and that was probably Naruto's idea as he could not come up with a way to introduce you to us."
'He… thinks Naruto staged our 'first meeting'?' Loona thought as the patron laughed.
"Anyway, let the Sister's know, and they will help you get a dress." The patron told Loona.
Skip, End of the Day…
'God, rumors spread WAY to fast in this school.' Naruto thought as he changed out of his gym clothes.
He had been hearing murmurs and mumblings since lunch.
AND ALL of them on Loona and him.
"So, the stray dog has found a girl."
"Think he is forcing her into it?"
"Maybe, you see that pale skin and black lipstick? She is probably into it."
"Damn, she was hot man."
"I know, but I feel like I have seen her before."
"Me too… wasn't it at Sasuke's party last Friday?"
Naruto rolled his eyes as he finished tying his shoes.
Grabbing his bag and locking his locker, Naruto walked out, not listening to music as he went to the front of the school, waiting for Gaara and Shino.
"So, you have a girl on your arm?"
Naruto's face tried to stay neutral as Hinata walked beside him.
"What's it to you, Hyuga?" Naruto asked, taking a deep breath through his nose.
His face scrunched.
'What is that smell?' he thought as the smell started to get stronger.
"Well, I just want to remind you," Hinata stated as she tapped her phone. "That I… am the one you are taking to Homecoming…"
"Oh, don't worry, she isn't going." Naruto lied his face no longer neutral as it held a disgusted look. "Oh, God, what did you do?"
"What are you talking about?" Hinata asked in confusion.
"Did you shower in blood this morning because you reek."
"Again, what…" Hinata started to reply before she stopped.
She awkwardly shifted her legs, scrunching her thighs against her lower lips and then immediately became as red as a tomato.
'MY PERIOD STARTED AND HE SMELLED IT!' She thought as her blush deepened.
"JUST… Just don't forget, Stray Dog!" Hinata stated as she quickly rushed off to the nearest bathroom.
'Oh, thank God, the smell is vanishing…' Naruto thought as he saw Shino walking toward him with Gaara.
Skip, Orphanage…
"Welcome." Loona greeted the trio of boys.
"Hello, my Moon." Naruto said as he hugged Loona, kissing her cheek.
"My World." She giggled as she walked with them into the house.
"Oh, welcome." The patron greeted as he saw the group. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Patton, the patron of the orphanage."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Shino Aburame."
"Gaara Sabuku."
"Will you two be staying for dinner?"
"If it isn't a bother…"
"NARUTO!"
Naruto was tackled by the children, laughing at their antics.
"Sorry, little ones, but today I have guests to entertain." Naruto explained.
"AAAAAghh…."
"No pouting, but tomorrow, I promise to play."
"Oh, Okay!"
Naruto got up and walked to Patton.
"I have a place to go to this Saturday, it will be an all-day thing." Naruto said in earnest sadness. "I am sorry it is last minute…"
"Don't worry, Naruto, the children aren't going anywhere." Patton replied as he patted Naruto's shoulder. "Now, go have fun with your friends."
Hour Later…
"And you died… again." Naruto laughed as Loona failed once again at Mario Maker.
"Damn." She grumbled with a smirk as she handed the Switch Controller to Shino, who took his turn.
"Come on, jump over the Charging Chuck…" Gaara advised.
"No, I can use the cape spin." Shino replied as he killed the Chuck with said attack.
"Ooh, bad move… Ouch, you died." Naruto replied as Shino was hit by a Bullet Bill.
"Okay, I am done with this…" Shino said as he handed Naruto the controller. "Do you have anything good to watch or listen to so we can talk?"
"Well…" Naruto said as he got a smirk as he pulled out his phone.

The four listened to the song, bobbing their heads in the rhythm.
"Man, such a good band." Loona said as she leaned into Naruto.
"I would have never thought such… bizarre looking characters would be so popular or good." Gaara said in shock.
"I know, I thought the same when my dad showed me the Gorillaz." Shino told them as he reached into his bag and pulled out…
"Pokemon cards?" Naruto asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I am a big fan, especially of the bug Pokemon." Shino said as he held out two decks. "Wanna play?"
"More of a Yugioh guy, but sure, how do we play?" Naruto asked with enthusiasm.
Hour Later…
*Knock, Knock*
"Dinner is ready."
"Okay." Naruto, Gaara, Shino, and Loona said at once, getting up at once with Yugioh and Pokemon cards falling off of them.
"Careful of my…FIGURES!" Naruto screamed when Gaara's backpack knocked into one of his figurines, making it wobble several times before settling. "MY POSTERS!"
Shino moved from the wall, his bag hitting the wall accidently.
"Jeez, man its just paper, you can tape or buy a new one." Gaara said as he didn't particularly like Naruto's reactions.
"I know… but they are expensive." Naruto explained as they exited his room.
Loona smiled as she looked at the three boys talking.
'I am so happy you have friends you can be yourself around…' Loona thought as her heart clenched in sadness. 'But I am going to have to take you away… not now, but soon.'
Hour later…
"Well, it's getting late…" Shino said after he and Gaara helped with the dishes. "My dad is on his way to pick me up. Need a ride, Gaara?"
"Sure, if it isn't to much trouble." Gaara replied.
"It won't."
Naruto, Loona, Shino, and Gaara sat outside, cracking bad jokes, laughing, and goofing off as the sun set, the inky blue sky and stars coming out.
Shino's dad pulled up, causing Gaara and Shino to bid farewell to Naruto and Loona.
"Man," Naruto said as he waved the car goodbye. "That was fun. Where did the day go? It was to fast."
"I know, time passes by way to fast when you are having fun." Loona replied as they re-entered the orphanage.
"Yeah…" Naruto said before his gaze turned to the ground.
'I need to tell her/him the truth…' Naruto and Loona thought as they reached the stairs.
"Loona/Naruto… You first." They said, laughing at the fact they spoke at the same time.
"Loona, remember how you asked me yesterday if something is wrong?" Naruto asked her as he put his hands together and twiddled his thumbs nervously.
"Yeah?" Loona asked as she pushed her hair out of her face.
"Well… Something IS bothering me…" Naruto told her, his stomach tightening. "But it has to stay between us."

So, this was fun, I know, I am adding a small additional chapter with the Verosika thing, BUT I swear it is important. I promise.
Shino is dating Fuu the Jinchuriki of Chomei. Yeah, I think NarutoXFuu needs more love in the fanfiction Community, but ShinoXFuu is cute too.

Now, for Homecoming.
I have an idea, many might like it, many might not but I am going to say it.
I plan on making a playlist and making it public for the music for the Homecoming dance, so for those who want to listen to music that will be shown in the Homecoming chapter/s or just like to listen to it in general, Should I make the playlist. Yes/No.
