Chapter 13: Born to Cry
Naruto's eyes sluggishly opened.
Only to close from the light of the afternoon shining through his window.
He could feel his heart beat loudly in his chest.
He opened his eyes once again, showing off the cerulean blue Sclera and white iris.
'What… what a nightmare…' He thought as he shifted, hearing and feeling the sound and weight of the sheets on him. 'It was intense…'
"Naruto?"
Said being turned and saw…
"A furry?" Naruto mumbled as he raised a hand and wiped his eyes. "Hm?"
"Millie, Fatty, Blitz, get in here!" Loona shouted as she watched Naruto move his hand and look at his hand.
Naruto looked at his fur covered hand, raising his left hand to look at it.
"Damn, I am having a furry dream." Naruto mumbled as he sat up, the sounds of the Imps scrambling to run up the stairs getting louder before the door burst open.
"Fuck, he woke up." Blitz said in surprise.
"Oh, thank Satan." Moxxie said in relief, a smile of said relief gracing his lips.
"Naruto!" Millie shouted as she felt a massive weight off of her shoulders.
"Hm, WHAT!" Naruto shouted as Millie soared into the air, arms open, before she rammed into him, hugging him.
"I am so happy that you're awake!" Millie stated with tears threatening to pour from her eyes.

"SIR/BLITZ!" Loona, Millie, and Moxxie shouted as said male imp grabbed the Boss and pulled him off Naruto.
Blitz sizzled as he pulled his arm out of Moxxie's hand.
"Loona?" Naruto said inquisitively. "Damn, my dream is a furry one and Loona is involved. Is this a sexual awakening? Or just a strange dream because of being drugged at the dance to believe a demonic dog attacked."
"Naruto, that was real." Loona said in withheld concern.
Her stomach tightened as her nerves were being rattled like a maraca.
Naruto laughed at Loona's statement as he moved to the edge of his bed.
"Wow, my legs are digitigrade." Naruto said as he stood up, nearly falling as he hasn't moved for quite a long while.
The blanket was ripped from the bed and wrapped around him as he took notice of the diaper, his face red as a tomato.

Naruto shook, his eyes white circles as his nose ran.
Blitz's foot was firmly planted between Naruto's legs, having kicked Naruto in the dick.
"Does that feel like a dream, Muzzle?" Blitz asked in irritation.
He removed his foot and Naruto collapsed, clutching himself.
"Naruto!" Millie and Loona said as they knelt down to assist… to which they had no idea what to do.
"SIR, WHY!" Moxxie demanded as he was prepared to attack his boss for assaulting his son.
"He has spouted 'this is a dream' to many times, so I gave him a reality check." Blitz stated with his arms crossed, turning away. "Welcome to Hell, fucko."
'Hell?' Naruto thought through the pain as he thought about it. 'Wait, there… there was a giant dog…'
Flashback…
Naruto's POV…
Akamaru was as big as a Hummer.
His face split in two, having two mouths and noses, but it stopped splitting and so he had a third eye.
He grew two gigantic horns as his body started to morph into a humanoid torso but with the hind legs of his dog form, growing seven tails that had barbed tips, like a multi-headed whip.
I watched as some idiot shouted, "Everybody panic!" before one of Akamaru's tails took his head off, making it chunky pudding.
"Naruto, Shino, we have to run!" I heard Loona shout as she grabbed my hand with Shino in the other.
We started to run.
'What the fuck is going on!' I thought as he avoided some debris from the ceiling, and as I ran, I saw Sasuke and Sakura, the former's head bleeding. 'Sorry, but my life is more… GOD DAMN IT!'
I pulled out of Loona's grip.
"NARUTO WHAT…" Loona started to shout at me as she pushed Shino so he could keep running without her.
I didn't answer as I grabbed two large chunks of debris.
"HEY, YOU FURRY FUCK!" I shouted as I threw the two debris chunks, hitting Akamaru.
I hear sounds of people running, screaming, and could smell the fear in the air, it was palpable.
I could not see what Loona was doing, nor could I as I had to keep moving to survive.
"Come on pussy, follow me!" I shouted as I kept moving, Akamaru lunging for where I was just standing before blinking a few times before Akamaru started to chase me. 'Holy fuck he could have killed me!'
I ran around the gym, throwing debris when I could, irritating the dog more and more as I moved in ways that I never thought I would be able to.
'Why the fuck am I doing this?' I thought as I narrowly avoided certain death, the sweat on my face starting to show more. 'None of these motherfuckers would stick their necks out for me, so why am I risking mine!'
The sounds of feet on wood started to go silent, the screams of panic now distant.
'Okay, now is the time…' I thought before I heard a nearby door get busted open.
Now distracted, I turned my head, seeing Loona's worried face.
My chest was struck.
One of Akamaru's tails struck me right in the chest before whipping diagonally upward unto my right shoulder, the barbs sinking in deep enough to.
'Oh, so this is… what it is like…' I thought before time seemed to speed up to make up for it slowing and I was hooked onto the barbs and then flung through the walls.
I went through the gym and shattered the windows in the English building, breaking another wall before hitting the display case with the miniature of the school.
I hit the ground on my stomach, groaning in pain.
*Cough, cough* "Fuck… my back…" I groaned as the adrenaline started to kick in as Blood started to soak into my clothing and lay itself on the floor. 'Loona…'
My thoughts, hazy and unfocused, concentrated on Loona.
'Got to… save… Loona…' I thought as I raised my right arm, pushing forward with my weakening legs as my vision started to blur, clear, blur, then clear again. 'Loona…'
I pushed myself forward, until my arm and legs gave out.
'I am dying.' I thought as I forced myself to painfully push myself onto my back, wincing in pain as glass shards pushed deeper into my body.
I stared at the ceiling.
I could hear sounds of gunfire.
'A machine gun? Is that dog being killed?' I thought as he gasped for air.
My hearing started to fade.
'My world is going silent, and dark.' I thought in fear, whimpering as I could swear I felt Death's presence.
"NARUTO!" Loona shouted from the hole I made with my body when I was flung through it.
I could barely hear the sounds of Loona running toward me, nor could I feel her pick me up.
"Naruto… baby, its me, Loona…" Loona said in a nearly cracked tone, her voice spiking in range. "Babe, please… answer me…"
My vision was blurry.
I felt lightheaded, and none of the pain I should have felt was felt.
'Maybe adrenaline…' I thought as I could not feel Loona's touch or hear her words as the world progressively got dimmer.
I knew what had just happened.
I was essentially bitch slapped through stone, wood, and glass.
'If this is dying,' I thought as I barely moved my head to see where I was, but not able to make anything out. 'Then it isn't so bad.'
A voice spoke, but I could not make out what they were saying.
Steam slowly started to emit from my injuries as my eyes fully glossed over and I went completely limp.
My world devoid of sound, sight, taste, feeling, or smell.

Flashback End…
"Did I die?" Naruto blurted out as Blitz was calling Stolas.
"No, you didn't die." Loona answered.
"Then how am I in Hell!" Naruto snapped as he pulled himself up by pulling on the bed. "Who are you… What are you…"
Naruto looked at himself, Loona seeing the visible panic in his eyes.
"What the fuck happened to me?" Naruto demanded in a choked tone.
"Naruto, you should lie down." Moxxie advised.
"BULLSHIT, I WANT ANSWERS!" Naruto shouted.
"I…" Loona tried to say.
"Loona bit you, turns out she is from a clan that can turn people into hellhounds, so that is why you are here." Blitz bluntly said as he excused himself from Naruto's room.
"Then we…" Millie said as she took Moxxie's hand. "We adopted you."

Just stared blankly.
"What?"
"We adopted you." Moxxie said as he pulled out his phone and showed it to Naruto, showing off a picture of the official documents that showed he indeed was adopted. "We are happy…"
"How did my stuff get here?"
"Loona used magic to disguise herself as you and…"
"Disguise? Wait, that douchebag earlier said you bit me. But that isn't true, right Loona?" Naruto asked shakily, a desperate smile on his face.
Loona's heart writhed in pain.
"No, I did bite you." Loona said as she nervously pointed at his left shoulder. "Those black fur marks are where I bit you, during our first… time."
Blushing and guilty, Loona looked away as Naruto grasped his shoulder.
He swayed, taking a step back.
Millie caught Naruto before he could fall completely, helping him sit.
His breathing was labored, erratic, and hyperventilative.
Loona's heart broke at the look of betrayal, confusion, and denial as Naruto raised his hands to his hair, running his fingers through them.
Loona took careful strides toward him.
"I am Millie." Millie introduced. "I am happy to see you awake, my son."
Naruto's ears perked up.
"I am Moxxie." Moxxie introduced. "I guess I am your dad now, huh."
Naruto blinked.
'I got adopted by demons…' Naruto thought as he gripped his shoulder. 'My girlfriend is a werewolf and she turned me…'
He turned to Loona, who slowly raised her arm, holding her hand out.
Naruto's pained expression brought a sucker punch of guilt into Loona's soul as he stared at her, his eyes landing on her necklace.

Naruto looked at her hand.
Fear.
That look of fear caused Naruto to shift, moving away from Loona's hand as if it was going to hurt him.
"N-naruto…" Loona choked out, tears threatening to burst from her eyes. "Please…"
"Why?" Naruto replied in tears. "Why did you do this to me? I trusted you!"
He closed his eyes as he moved forward, looking like he was kneeling before Loona as he pressed his head to the ground, trying to ground his mental state.
"I fucking Loved you!" Naruto snapped, his water works bursting and causing an avalanche of boogers to pour from his nose. "Was… was all of our relationship… was…" he wiped his nose with his arm. "WAS IT JUST A SICK GAME! ARE YOU JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE LOONA!"
"NO!" Loona shouted as she kneeled, cupping his face and pulling it up, showing him she too was crying. "Everything… every action take, every word spoke, every passionate moment… they are real… I lo…"
Naruto pushed Loona…

There was a silence between Millie, Moxxie, Naruto and Loona.
"I see…" Loona sniffled as she stood up, her arm covering her eyes. "I will take my leave."
She turned, biting her lips tightly as she walked out, her waterfall tears, not because of physical pain, but the emotional pain she caused Naruto, and the pain he inflicted onto her heart.
As Loona walked out, Naruto curled into a ball, his teeth gnashed together, shaking as he cried, snot leaking from his nose as he shuddered.
Millie and Moxxie silently left, realizing Naruto needed time alone.
"Alright," Blitz said as he hung up his phone. "Stolas and a doctor will be in tomorrow to do their checkup."
"Sir, just leave." Moxxie said as he sunk into a chair.
"Why…"
"Blitz."
Said imp looked at Millie.
Her tired, sad glare spoke volumes, promising pain.
"Okay, I'll leave." Blitz replied in a soft tone. "Night, you two."
He banged on Naruto's door once.
"Night, you new flea-bag." He called out before he walked down stairs, grabbed his shoes and walked out the door, entering his van where Loona sat in the back in waiting.
Meanwhile…
Jayjay smiled as she and Vortex jogged.
He wore a tank top and shorts while she wore sport shorts and a sports bra with a headband and hair band.
"Phew, this is a great morning for a run." Vortex said in excitement as he watched Jayjay run, finding enjoyment in seeing her physical movements.
"Its not a cold as I'd prefer, but you are right." Jayjay replied as she kept pace with her beloved.
They had a song playing on Vortex's phone, which was hooked up to a speaker.
They continued their usual route, and headed toward a bridge, passing a Suicide Booth, which had a small line.

"Yeah, it is a quick and painless death, unlike the Exterminator's." Vortex replied.
"Oh fuck…" Jayjay gasped as she checked her watch.
"What?"
"The Yearly Extermination is coming soon, babe."
"How much longer?"
"The end of the month, because..." Jayjay replied in concern and dread. "It is the Scariest Night of the Year, Halloween!"
Oct. 4, Noon, Ars Goetia Mansion…
"Alright, Naruto. You're all set." Stolas told the hellhound as he wore a hospital gown.
Naruto nodded nervously.
He was alone with Stolas, a FUCKING OWL DEMON, and an orc doctor.
"Stand up and stand up straight, I'm taking your measurements." The Doc oinked.
"Now, answer my questions while he does that, please." Stolas said as he sat in a comfy lounge chair. "What is your name?"
"Naruto Uzumaki."
"Age?"
Naruto had to shift his legs, allowing the doc to get his measurements easier.
"Seventeen. My birthday is October Tenth…"
The Questions and exam continued for an hour, and all the while, Stolas wrote what he was told down, falsifying a citizenship.
"And there we have it, just sign here please." Stolas said as he offered a quill pen to Naruto.
"This isn't some shady deal, is it?" Naruto asked as he stared at the quill.
"No, dear boy," Stolas giggled as he pinched Naruto's cheek. "It is just to show your signature."
Naruto swallowed a lump in his throat as he took the quill and signed his signature on the paperwork.
The paperwork glowed in magic as it vanished, the light shooting toward the sky.
"It worked. Your information is now apart of Hell's Citizenship Records." Stolas said as he opened a portal to Millie and Moxies house.
Naruto rushed through it, sighing in relief as he got home.
Specifically, his room.
Where he saw a large pile of clothes… which were his from the human world, but made bigger to fit his now giant size.
Oct. 7, Evening…
"Hey, sweetie," Millie said as she knocked on Naruto's door before grabbing the handle, opening the door, hearing the music Naruto was playing. "Dinner's ready… oh, do your clothes fit okay?"

Around it was the chairs with bowls and forks next to them.
Moxxie smiled as he saw how far Millie was on Cloud Nine.
"Ta-da-da-daaaaa!" Moxxie said as he unveiled the pot's contents.
"Ramen?" Naruto said in a dull surprise.
"You don't want it?" Moxxie asked in concern.
His concern was punched, stabbed, then shot before being tossed into the Grande Canyon as Naruto zipped to the table, filled a bowl of the noodles and broth before digging into his favorite meal.
'D-delicious.' He thought as he was starving. 'This is just like…'
Thoughts of Patton, Evelyn, the rest of the staff and the children of the orphanage entered his mind as his eating slowed to a near halt.
He was slowly consuming the dish, which Millie and Moxxie took note of as Naruto started to cry again, slurping his noodles as he did.
It had been four days.
Four days since he woke up, had his physical exam, and a lot of time to himself, and worse his thoughts.
He was no longer human.
His dream of working for the orphanage was gone.
His desire to live with Loona, null and void.
It was overwhelming.
"Naruto, do you want a hug?" Moxxie asked, Millie nodding in agreement.
"T-thank you…" Naruto said as he put his food and fork down and started to open his arms.
Millie and Moxxie entered them, and hugged Naruto, pushing as much love and support into it.

"I will…" Naruto said as he took her hand, and put his other hand on Moxxie's back. "I will need some more time to adjust…"
"Take all the time you need, my Fishcake." Millie said with a sweet smile.
Naruto blinked.
'Would that have been what mom called me?' he thought, thinking of his birth parents as Moxxie and Millie sat back down and the trio continued to eat.
It was silent, but the trio could tell progress had been made.
Meanwhile…
Loona gasped as she dropped the fourth bottle of alcohol of the fourteenth case of beer that evening as she lay on her bed in her room.
After seven weeks of Sobriety, Loona broke it in her anguish after Blitz returned home from a beer run the day Naruto woke up.
Loona had been drinking every day, trying, and failing, to drown her guilt, anguish, and tears.
She tearfully looked up to the ceiling.
"Naru…" Loona whimpered as she reached for another bottle. "Naru…"

She continued to drink it, reaching under her bed as she guzzled the warm liquid.
