Chapter 67: Follow Up
Various Places within the Rings of Hell…
Eight phones rang on a video chat.
Eight owners opened and answered.
"Wassup/Hello, everyone/Greetings/Hello/Fuck ya' Want/How's it Hanging/Sup/How is everyone?"
"Shukaku, you look absolutely horrible."
"Well, KOKUO~" the perturbed individual responded. "I am currently losing time from work for this call, so YEAH, I'm pissed."
"Asshole."
"YOU WANNA GO, MATA-BITCH!"
"WHAT YOU CALL ME!" the actually named Matatabi growled.
"Easy, easy, everyone, it's been a long time since we last called each other."
"STAY OUT OF THIS TURLTE SOUP!" Shukaku/Matatabi snapped at the turtle, whose name was actually Isobu.
"Children, the LOT of them." A Monkey demon scoffed.
This was Son Goku, no, not the Super Saiyan… sadly.
"Agreed." A horse demon female replied.
Her name was Kokuo.
"Come on, let's all get along."
"Fuck you, Saiken!" Matatabi growled.
Saiken visibly hid under his slimy slug hands, eye stock quivering.
"DON'T POUR SALT ON ME, I'LL DIE!" the slug demon screamed.
The last two callers looked at each other.
"Ugh, can we focus." Chomei asked.
"Yeah, Ya' Fools, Ya' Fools!" B rapped.
"STOP RAPPING!" the seven other callers shouted.
"Geez, tough crowd." B replied, deciding not to rap for his safety.
In order:
Shukaku: A racoon Demon. He was short, rotund raccoon with a Japanese Fundoshi around his MASSIVE balls, like a Tanuki. On his back was a large (Large for Shukaku) gourd on his back.
Matatabi: A cat Demon. She was a little taller than an average human female. Tan skin, blue and black hair, two cat tails and ears. She wore a business suit with cat paw pins on her lapel and cuff's.
Isobu: A Turtle Demon. His scales was a deep purple/red with random gray scales on his joints, his shell was gray, he had LONG nails on his fingers. He wore a sash around his right arm and left hip. His left eye was scarred shut.
Son Goku: A Monkey Demon. Like Matatabi he was more humanoid, he wore white gi pants with a blue sash with the knot on the back of his right hip. He wore blue leg wraps above close toes gi shoes. His skin was a very faint green, but was covered mostly in his deep red fur except his hands, neck, face, pectoral muscles and rectus muscles. He wore blue wrist bands on his wrists. His deep orange eyes were outlined with red on the eyelids. His shaggy red hair went to his shoulder blades in length and was extremely spiky. His crown like horns had thinned, looking more like a crown now.
Kokuo: A Horse Demon. Her body was humanoid, covered in short white and gray fur. From the neck up, her neck and head were that of a horse with green eyes. She wore basic t-shirt and pants.
Saiken: A Slug Demon. He was humanoid. A tad bit taller than Shukaku, but shorter than Son. His skin was a pale-lavender covered in a slimy mucus. He had air vents on his neck with his eye stocks peaking through his brown hair. His mouth was seemingly stitched together. He wore blue jeans and a sleeveless hood sweater.
"Where is Kurama? Shouldn't SHE be here too?" Kokuo asked, noticing the fox of their little Inner Circle was not present.
"Ah, there IS a reason for that." Chomei said as he sent a link to everyone. "Seems the bitch went on a rampage and nearly destroyed her business again."
Everyone groaned.
"Again? How many times does this make?" Isobu inquired.
"Too many to count." Saiken answered.
"So, what is this about?" Matatabi asked. "Yugito and I have to run a business ourselves. It's in Sloth and it doesn't run itself."
"I called this meeting for one thing: our absent comrades… ambitions." Chomei stated.
Everyone's grumbling went quiet.
"We all know the reasons why she is trying this." Son stated, flabbergasted. "Her husband was killed and our dream for a better Hell."
"Our dream. YES, a dream that was the ambition OF CHILDREN!" Matatabi stated in anger. "The Bitch HAS to let this go! She won't get her husband back, no matter what she tries."
"You are just angry she dumped you for Shippo." Shukaku nonchalantly insulted, pinky firmly cleaning his ear.
Matatabi fumed in anger, blue flames bursting to life around her.
"Okay, we ALL know it isn't about resurrecting Shippo." Isobu snapped.
"Well, what do you expect?" Kokuo asked sarcastically. "Nine Orphans left to die, bond together and dream of a better world. They work hard, and eventually we got families… One of them finding the bastards who abandoned her. She took their lives, took their business, and then had a family. A basic Rags to Riches story."
"Actually," Shukaku corrected. "Kurama's story is a 'Rags to Ritches, to Baddest Bitches' kind of tale."
"You need to stop watching Boondocks." Chomei sighed.
"Fuck you, I love Boondocks. Riley is the best…"
"Okay, we aren't here to discuss a human cartoon!" Son interrupted. "We are here to discuss our family…"
"What should we do? If Kurama continues… and eventually asks us to fight…" Saiken whimpered.
Everyone returned to silence in thought.
"If she asks us to fight…" Chomei said calmly. "Then we will fight. We made a promise."
"And Promises is something We NEVER break." B finished.
Meanwhile, Lust Ring…
Fox's Den could barely be considered a building anymore.
More like… the framework of a building.
A building that construction workers were busy rebuilding.
A small sign outside the danger zone let customers know the brothel would be closed until further notice.
As hammers hit nails and saws cut wood, Melani expertly pushed a punch aside while avoiding a second attack.
"Your teamwork is good." She said as she kicked Kiba's legs out from under him, pivoting to grab Hinata's arm, throwing the rabbit/succubus over her shoulder into the ground next to her boyfriend. "But you two lack magic and experience. Do you both want your asses handed to you again by your killer?"
Hinata shot Melani a NASTY glare as she panted on the ground.
She had and would never forgive the bastard who killed her and Kiba.
Usually, Tamamo would be training her and Kiba, however, with the recent… ahem, incident, Tamamo was recovering in Sloth, leaving their training to Melani.
"I hate you." Kiba snipped as he grunted to sit up.
Only for Melani's foot to connect to the back of his head, pushing him forward, but not into the ground.
"If you want to stay alive and NOT receive what Tamamo did, then get stronger, work at Fox's Den as a waiter, a stripper, a sex worker," Melani glanced at Hinata. "Or as an enforcer like myself. Now, both of you, get up."
Hinata got on all fours, squatting, before using her powerful rabbit legs to lunge forward at an impressive speed, only for Melani to push off of Kiba, spin around twice, and KNEE Hinata in the face.

Meanwhile, Gluttony Ring…
Kurama grunted in irritation.
Wearing casual jeans, shirt, and hoodie, Kurama sat outside a Five Guys Burgers and Fries as she opened her mouth wide and shoved a huge amount of her cheeseburger into her mouth, taking two chews before partially swallowing, following it up with a massive gulp from her soda.
She held an irritated expression.
'STARK! I blame you for making me relapse on my diet!' She angrily thought as she continued to stuff her mouth with fries.
A Super-Sized Demon Meal Fit for a Demon like Kurama.
'At least Tamamo did her best to cover the damage by attempting to recruit Uzumaki to work for me.' Kurama thought as she tore another chunk of burger. 'If he had accepted then I could have used the new magic knowledge I have required to make him my pet…" Kurama swallowed her food. 'But at least I can spend some time practicing.'
Kurama grabbed her soda and drank from it, staring absentmindedly into space.
A memory flashed in her mind.
Her fist striking Tamamo's face.
'Your lack of foresight made me do that, Tamamo.' Kurama thought as she ate the remains of her burger and fries. 'I commend you for taking care of my business the entire month I was gone, but letting Stark do as he pleased is unforgiveable.'
Kurama grabbed her trash, tossed it, and walked off, her finger igniting in green flames she used to light her pipe.
*RING, RING*
Kurama answered her phone.
"What is it, Crimson."
"I have an idea, a good idea that can make you a LOT of money, really fast." The Imp told his employer.
"What is it?" Kurama said, standing at the corner of an intersection, smoking as she listened to the imp while she waited to cross the street.
Her tails swayed calmly before they stiffened.
"IF, and I mean IF, you can do this without letting anyone know I am tied to this…" Kurama stated strictly as she started toc ross the street. "AND promise Naruto and his family, YOUR family, do not die… then you can do this."
"I promise, no one will die."
Lust Ring…
"She is sleeping, so please, due keep it more on the quiet side." A nurse said as she led Arnold, Karen, Corey, Katie, and Zack to Tamamo's room.
"She looks like shit!" Zack stated in blunt rudeness.
Katie smacked Zack's blatant rudeness as Corey sat in his mother's arms, drooling.
"How long is she going to be in here this time?" Arnold asked the nurse as he raised his hand and moved some hair out of Tamamo's sleeping face.
"A few days to a week or so." The Nurse responded, grabbing Tamamo's clipboard, looking it over as Karen put her children in a chair to take Tamamo's hand in hers. "Bite marks across the chest and neck with skull fractures across her face."
The Nurse looked at the sleeping child.
"She is lucky you two got her here as soon as you did. The fragments of her skull could have collapsed and crushed her brain, or she could have bled out…"
"Enough, leave." Karen stated bluntly.
"Excuse me?"
Karen turned.
The lights dimmed as Karen seemed to loom over the shrinking nurse.
"LEAVE!" She said with restrained force, not wanting to stir Tamamo from her slumber.
A dotted outline of the nurse remained, blinking in and out before fading permanently.
"Karen…"
"Mom…"
"Mom…"
"*AOL Sound*"
Karen's shoulder's shuddered as she started to violently cry, her knees nearly buckling as she grabbed the back of the chair to keep herself standing.
"It's My fault!" Karen stated, eyes shut, tears streaming out still as her lip jittered. "IF I HAD… If I had been the one… to tell Kurama… then… then…"
Karen's hands could not wipe away the tears, knocking her glasses off, which clattered on the ground as she continued to cry.
"Then Tamamo would not be here…" She choked out, Arnold catching her and setting her in a chair. "I did this to her…"
"Karen, Tamamo would never blame you for what Kurama does." Arnold said as Katie got a bottle of water from Arnold's bag, handing it to the Armadillo Sinner, who opened it before handing it over to Karen. "You know she would…"
"I raised this girl from birth." Karen interrupted, staring at him with her eyes-stained pink from crying, hand on her chest, tapping it for emphasis in her words. "Kurama entrusted her daughter's safety to me the moment that girl started walking!" She stood up, her blurred vision getting hazier. "How can I say… how can I say I am keeping an innocent child safe when a… when a MONSTER can just abuse her because I was too weak to take responsibility!"
"I'd call you an idiot for thinking I can't take a few punches." A weak voice said from the bed.
"Tamamo?" The adults said as the children sat in silence, Zack having snuck his mother's phone, playing a game while Katie kept Corey silent and distracted.
A smile graced the fox child's lips, her amethyst eyes cracked open.
"Did you expect me to sleep with you being so emotional?" Tamamo joked, trying to show humor through her attempt at laughing. "Haha, it hurts to laugh."
Karen let out a sound that could be considered a wounded animal sound as she took Tamamo's hand.
"I thought… I… I…" Karen tried to say, snot bubbling out of her nose as the waterfalls from her eyes threatened to flood the room.
"WE…" Arnold said, putting a hand on Karen's shoulder and the other on Tamamo's head. "Are happy you are awake, sweetheart."
"Tammy!"
Katie and Corey jumped onto the bed and snuggled into Tamamo's legs.
"Wassup, shitty." Zack greeted, getting smacked in the head by his mother. "AH, alright, it's good to see you okay."
Tamamo smiled, tears streaming into her eyes.
"I'm glad you guys could come by, especially when busy with work." Tamamo said as she sat up.
"Well, about that…" Arnold perked up.
"Yo crazy mama destroyed the place!" Zack interrupted.
Tamamo blinked.
"You're fucking me, right?" Tamamo asked in disbelief.
Arnold and Karen shook their heads.

"Naruto…" Loona said in amused irritation as she lay across the couch, hands in the air with her phone trying to read something as Naruto lay on top of her, face in her belly.

"No." Naruto said with a goofy smile, content with his position and feeling her fat against his face.
