Chapter 105: Aftermath
"CROSS FIRE HURRICANE!" Riser shouted as Magician's Red arched its arms and swung them forward, sending the attack forward.
The Flaming Ankh and the Bloody Rasengan collided, a purple summoning spell appearing as the magic within the flames and spiral sphere erupted.
A bright light covered the entire room for the barest of moments as the rotation of the Rasengan spread the fire of the Ankh outward, setting the room on fire.
As smoke began to fill the room, Riser was gasping as he stared at the back of Stolas.
Before Stolas, was a perfectly petrified Naruto, caught in motion of his attack.
"Lor… Lord Stolas…" Riser coughed as Magician's Red once more faded.
He felt woozy.
Stolas caught Riser.
"Come on," He looked from Riser to the Statue of Naruto. "Let's go home."
Two Hours Later…
"YOU LEFT ME FOR DEAD, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" a heavily bandaged Agent 2 hollered at Agent 1, who was equally bandaged.
They were recovering in a hospital, put in the same room, much to 2's chagrin.
"If I said I was sorry, would you forgive me?" Agent 1 asked in a dull, tired tone.
They were two of a handful of survivors from the rampage they suffered within their HQ.
Agent 2 fumed.
"Of course I wouldn't, you bastard!"
1 sighed and leaned over, grabbing something that was next to his bed.
2 felt something land on her body, looking down.
It was a Husky plushy.
2 squealed in happiness.
"OH, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" 2 chanted as she ran her movable hand through the stuffed animal's fur.
'So easy.' 1 thought as he closed his eyes, wanting to rest. 'But at least, we still have the flash drive.'
Evening, Pride Ring, DFS…
Blitz, Moxxie, Loona, Verosika, Fuu, Stolas, and Riser (Who was bandaging his wounds) stood before the petrified Naruto in the living room.
Sallie May was in Moxxie and Millie's room, taking care of Andromeda as Millie slept in bed, her head still swollen from being hit with the phone book.
"This looks like a really cool piece of art." Verosika joked as she looked at her husband.
Indeed.
Naruto was petrified mid-movement.
His 'Right Hand' was thrust forward, the serpent tail mid-swing, and thankfully, his legs and left hand kept him balanced.
"Yeah, he does." Blitz agreed with his ex. "Alright, Stolas, do your thing and un-stone him."
Stolas walked up, a very serious look on his face as he stared intently at Naruto's stone body.
Everyone present held their breath.
Stolas's head turned 180 degrees.
"I don't know how to undo this." He said with a sheepish tone and embarrassed face.
Blitz, Moxxie, Loona, Verosika, and Riser collapsed onto the floor as Stolas scratched the back of his head nervously.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T UNDO IT!" Moxxie shouted at the royal.
"I've never been in this position before!" Stolas replied. "I've never needed to un-petrify someone I turned to stone."
Riser facepalmed.
"Everyone, just…" He went silent as his wounds ached. "Just give me a day to heal, and I'll undo the petrification."
"Really?" Loona and Verosika asked in unison, looking at the Phenex Heir.
"Yeah, petrification can be undone with a potion…"
"I'm not good at brewing potions." Stolas admitted, remembering the last time he attempted potion brewing was when Naruto had been hit with Fountain of Youth Water.
He got the reversing potion from his father under the pretense he wanted to fuck Stella.
Which is why Esther was born, and Stolas didn't regret his second child's birth.
"No worries, I know how to do it." Riser said as he pulled out hos phone, shooting Stolas a text message. "Just get me these ingredients and I'll start as soon as I am…" He gestured to himself. "More fit to work."
"Okay." Stolas said, perfectly fine with buying everything.
He did petrify Naruto to stop him without being able to turn him back, so it was the least he could do to help fix the damage he had caused.
A wave of relief washed over Verosika, Loona, Blitz, and Moxxie.
Naruto was going to be alright.
"I guess we should call it a day…" Stolas said as he looked at his phone, seeing how late it was.
"I'll stay here." Riser mumbled. "Best not agitate my injuries by moving to much…"
"I'll help you to a guest room." Verosika offered, helping the Phenex stand.
"Thank you."
"No worries."
As the succubus and Phenex left, Stolas took his leave.
Blitz retired to his room as Moxxie did as well, taking Andromeda from Sallie May, letting her stay in his bedroom with her sister while he and Andromeda went to a guest room for the night.
Loona glanced at Fuu.
She had been awkwardly quiet.
Nothing like the lively, bubbly woman Fuu was.
She just stared at the coffee table, as if she herself was also turned to stone.
Loona put her hand on Fuu's as she knelt in front of the human.
"You okay, Fuu?"
Fuu's eyes hazily refocused to look Loona in the eyes.
"Okay? Okay? You seriously asking me if I am okay?" She asked in a very choked voice, her eyes beginning to violently water. "My boyfriend was killed… along with Gaara… and you ask me if I AM okay?"
She wasn't screaming or yelling, nor was her voice raised.
She was asking a genuine question, doing her best to keep herself together.
Currently, Shino and Gaara's corpses were on ice, due to Fuu not wanting them to be abandoned in the human world.
"If I can do anything to help…"
"Can you turn me?"
Loona went silent as her eyes widened at Fuu's request.
"You want me to turn you?"
"Or kill me…" Fuu begged as she gripped Loona's hand in desperation. "Please… I don't want to take Shino and Gaara's corpses to their families… how could I explain this… and…" her tears started to fall down her cheeks. "I don't want to live without Shino…"
Loona's heart cracked at Fuu's reaction.
She wanted to help, she really did, but killing her, or, God Forbid, turning her into a Lycanthrope, was not an easy request to fulfil.
"Fuu…" Loona said as she used her opposite hand to push some hair out of Fuu's face. "This… we should put this request on the back burner… for all we know… Gaara and Shino could be in Heaven. So, killing yourself or being turned into a Lycan could push you away from him forever…"
Loona's heart broke as betrayal filled Fuu's orange eyes.
"Let's give it a few days, and when things calm down… we can…" Loona felt choked up. "We can continue… Okay?"
Fuu looked down, silently letting her tears continue to fall from her eyes, down her cheeks, and off her chin onto the floor.
"Okay…" She whispered in a very dry tone before standing up. "I need some space…"
"Okay…" Loona said as she watched Fuu walk away, unable to keep her cries silent as she got to her room, getting into bed and crying herself to sleep.
Loona, meanwhile, stared at the spot Fuu was previously sitting before she turned to look at her frozen beloved.
She couldn't help but chuckle slightly as she sat in front of the statue.
'We've been with each other for nearly two years…' She thought as she leaned into her hand. 'And nothing we've done has been boring…'
She smiled, memories going through her mind.
However, a sense of dread crept up Loona's spine as she looked at Naruto's altered features.
Naruto was never able to use his TDF, even after awakening it in Wrath to protect Verosika.
He had tried, but couldn't get anymore than small horn nubs, a feeling of protrusions on his back, and nothing happened to his tail.
Loona couldn't help but get weepy.
'What is happening, Naruto.' Loona thought as she felt cold.
A hand touched her shoulder, spooking Loona.
"Sorry, sorry…" Verosika apologized as she noticed how badly she startled her wife. "Come on, let's go to sleep."
Loona got up, taking Verosika's hand as they went to their room.
Their massive bed felt so empty without Naruto as they snuggled together.
Meanwhile…
Octavia was in shock.
Her father had just informed her of what happened.
"We're going to find them, Octavia, I promise." Stolas reassured his oldest.
"But, dad… we don't even know if they are here or in Heaven…" Octavia said in mild panic as her heart beat quickly.
Two friends had been killed, even if there was a fifty-fifty chance of them coming to Hell, it was still a shock to the system.
Stolas gave Octavia a hug, rubbing her back to give comfort in anyway.
Next Morning…
The sounds of a fire and grease popping stirred Gaara from his slumber.
Suddenly, a hot bubble of grease swelled and popped, several droplets striking Gaara across his face, making him shoot up, hands slapping his face.
"FUCK!" He yelled, his eyelid and cheek burning.
"You fucking pussy." A gruff voice said as the person cooking ignored Gaara's profanity.
Gaara turned to see who spoke, his unburned eye widening as he looked at the speaker.
"What happened… where am I…" Gaara asked/demanded as he stared at the tanuki looking demon.
Meanwhile…
"Who are you?" Shino demanded, not really noticing the changes his body had underwent.
"I am Chomei, currently, you…" he pointed at Shino. "Are in Hell."
Meanwhile…
"You're in Hell, my name is Shukaku, and I am gonna be your mentor." Shukaku bluntly stated as he continued to cook his breakfast, now cooking eggs to go with his sausages.
Gaara looked at Shukaku.
He was short, rotund tanuki wearing loose sweatpants and had a gourd sitting beside him.
"Hell?" Gaara asked as he looked around… and then looked at his hands.
His dark brown fur covered hands.
Meanwhile…
The yellow chitinous hide that was now his skin, Shino was handed Chomei's phone to see what he looked like.
He was humanoid, the same yellow flesh covering his body, still wearing his circular sun glasses, but his legs were more insectoid and he had strange black markings over his body.
Shino looked at Chomei.
Chomei was a tall demon, standing six feet tall.
He had a humanoid body, wearing a long sleeve button up shirt, black tie and gray vest with slacks and brown loafers.
His head, however, looked like a knight helmet with a rhinoceros beetle horn, his eyes glowing through the slits.
Meanwhile…
"I'M ROCKET RACCOON!" Gaara exclaimed in happiness, due to his love of the character.
He was humanoid, sandy brown fur covering the majority of his body. His red hair had stayed the same, keeping his 'Love' tattoo above his left eye.
He had a bushy tail and strange markings on his arms and legs, which had become digitigrade.
"You're not a raccoon, you're a tanuki, like me." Shukaku interrupted as he continued to cook.
"How do you know?"
"Two reasons: Raccoons have rings on their tails…"
Gaara checked.
No rings.
"Check your balls."
"Huh?"
"Check your testicles."
"Why?"
"Do it!"
Gaara groaned and checked.
His eyes bugged out as each testicle was as big as an orange.
"Tanuki have big balls. Yeah, I suggest baggy pants." Shukaku recommended, showing off his own baggy pants.
Gaara felt a rush of panic… before his focus became laser focused.
"Wait, you said earlier you wanted to train me?"
Shukaku didn't respond as he grabbed the big gourd that had been sitting beside him.
Uncorking it, he tossed it at Gaara.
Sand spilled out as it spun toward Gaara.
Said Sinner flinched, arms coming up reflexively to cover himself… only for the sand to not touch him.
Opening his eyes, Gaara saw the sand had become rigid, stuck together, like it was some weird piece of art.
"That is why." Shukaku explained as he finished cooking. "You have the same magnetic ability as me, and I'll teach you everything I know."
Meanwhile…
"You are like me…"
"I am like D'vorah from Mortal Kombat…" Shino compared as he looked at the phone.
"I… don't follow…" Chomei said with a confused tone due to his face not being able to… express his emotions.
"Can you open your phone?" Shino asked, handing it back.
"Oh, sure."
Chomei opened his phone, handing it back to Shino, who did a quick search and showing D'vorah to Chomei.
"Oh, okay, that makes sense." Chomei said as he held out his hand.
Small insects flew out of his body, grabbing his phone.
"But can D'vorah do this?" He asked, wanting to impress Shino.
"Yeah, actually, she can…"
The owner of the Lucky Seven Casino slumped.
Not the reaction he wanted.
"Anyway…" Chomei mumbled, regaining his composure. "I brought you here to teach you how to control your powers, after all, you are like me."
Meanwhile…
"But I need to find my friends."
"You have friends in Hell?" Shukaku asked Gaara, quirking an eyebrow at the Sinner, who realized he said to much.
"I mean…"
"Look, Kid, you have great potential, don't waste it on people who won't appreciate your efforts." Shukaku replied as he took a swig of beer. "They will let you down… also, I don't care if you were a human with demon connections. My crazy family has broken many laws…"
Meanwhile…
"… and we are now respectfully employed through out the seven rings." Chomei explained to Shino, the two sitting at a table with Shino sipping on some water.
He found this interesting.
Being able to summon many kind of insects was interesting…
"But I don't want to learn until I find my friends…" Shino calmly replied to Chomei.
Meanwhile…
"Kid…"
"Gaara!"
Shukaku rolled his eyes.
"Gaara, I am giving you my time…" Shukaku pointing to himself and Gaara. "My time… you see, is precious. I have a job to do. Either you take my offer to learn how to use your powers… or…"
He made 'poof' sound affect.
"Offer goes bye-bye." He ended.
Gaara looked toward the sky.
He and Shukaku were at a make shift camp sight.
He sighed.
'I really have no idea where to go…'
Meanwhile…
"So, I guess, FOR NOW…" Shino said as he extended his hand. "I accept."
Chomei shook Shino's hand.
"Good choice."
Meanwhile…
"Good, now let's finish eating." Shukaku grunted, rolling his eyes with a wry smile as he got what he wanted. "Anyway, what got you sent to this Here-Hole?"
"I don't know…" Gaara replied with a shrug. "Maybe because I fucked a demon royal?"
Shukaku spat his beer into Gaara's face before he let out a loud belly laugh.
Meanwhile…
"… smoking weed?"
"Sounds about right." Chomei said as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a Day Pass. "As a Sinner you aren't allowed to leave the Pride Ring… Unless…"
Meanwhile…
"You wear this and don't take it off." Shukaku said as he grabbed his gourd, the spilled sand returning to it.
Gaara put the wrist band on, feeling a little silly.
"So… when do we start training?" Gaara asked as Shukaku stood up, showing how short he was.
While Gaara had retained the height he had as a human, Shukaku came up to his chest.
"First we got to go back to my home, in Wrath. We need to see what materials you can use."
"What do you mean?" Gaara asked curiously.
"As showed earlier," Shukaku said as he manipulated the sand he had to make a perfect replica of himself. "You and I can use sand with our magnetic powers. However…"
Shukaku's face scrunched slightly as he concentrated, and a dull gray powder material began to be pulled out of the ground.
"I can use Iron Sand…" Shukaku explained. "Just as, if not more, deadly than my sand."
Meanwhile…
"We shall start by you making your first hive, after all, you can't do this…" Chomei demonstrated by having his insects pour water into Shino's cup. "Without a nest, am I right?"
Shino nodded his head.
'I'm sorry, Naruto, Fuu…'
Meanwhile…
'I'll be gone for a while, but I promise…' Gaara thought as he looked toward the sunrise.
'I'll make my way back.' Both Shino and Gaara thought as they followed their new benefactors to Wrath and Greed respectively.
Skip, Noon…
Riser did simple movements.
'Alright, I am healed enough.' Riser thought as he didn't feel massive pain or irritation.
Making his way downstairs, Riser was greeted by a peculiar scene.
Andromeda hanging from Naruto's mouth.
She was strapped into a harness and the harness's straps were wrapped around and into Naruto's head and mouth.
Andromeda, unlike some young children or infants, was not scared of her father's petrified state.
No, she was giggling and enjoying herself as Verosika rocked her back and forth.
"Morning…"
"It's noon." Loona corrected from the kitchen, heating up some milk for Andromeda.
"Sorry…" Riser apologized.
"Where is everyone?" Riser inquired.
"Blitz, Moxxie, and Millie are at work, Sallie May went home, and Fuu…" Verosika's face became very sad. "Fuu is still in her room."
Riser felt a chill of worry go up his spine.
"Anyway, is Stolas here?" He asked as he shook it off.
"He came by earlier, dropping off the ingredients." Loona responded. "They are in the fridge."
"Okay… can I borrow your kitchen?"
Loona nodded as she tested the milk's warmth.
Finding it perfectly fine, Loona exited the kitchen as Riser rummaged through their cupboards, grabbing a ladle and the biggest pot he could find.
Putting it on the stove, Riser grabbed the ingredients and summoned his grimoire, using magic to turn to the correct page.
He started brewing the potion, opening a window as it started to smoke.
Two Hours Later…
"Alright, it's finished." Riser exclaimed in exhaustion.
He took a cup and scooped out a portion of the potion.
Walking into the living room, Riser approached Naruto, Verosika having taken Andy in her arms as Loona removed the harness from Naruto's petrified body.
'Let's hope this works.' Riser mentally prayed as this was his first time making this potion.
Even if it failed, he had enough ingredients left for another attempt.
Riser reached up and poured the liquid on Naruto's head, letting it flow down his back, down his head, and drip onto the floor.

"Well, I guess I'll try aga…"
Riser, Verosika, and Loona heard a crack.
They looked at the statue, seeing where the liquid had touched, began to crack.
Orange magic began to glow from within, causing the cracks to get bigger, chipping away until they saw Naruto's fur, still blood soaked.
It was like Han Solo being released from his Carbonite.
Larger chunks of stone continued to fall off until a normal Naruto collapsed, the rest of the stone shell shattering like an egg shell.
The blood that made up the 'blood hand' spread across the floor.
His breathing was steady, but he was coated in a thick layer of sweat.
His injuries were mostly healed, not causing any damage or endangering his life.
Relief washed over the three adults and the baby… until she made a disgusted face, her tiny hands clasping over her nose.
"Eww… Naruto shit himself…" Verosika exclaimed, pinching her nose.
"We should get him in the shower." Loona mumbled, covering her nose.
Giving Andromeda to Riser, Loona and Verosika picked Naruto up by the arms and dragged him upstairs to clean him.
"Well…" Riser said as he looked at the babe, who stared curiously at him. "What do you wanna do, little one?"
Chapter 105, DONE!
Naruto is un-petrified, Gaara and Shino are now training under Shukaku and Chomei.
I wonder what will happen next. Let's find out.

Well… I had a lot of fun with this chapter, especially the scenes with Gaara and Shino basically becoming apprentices to Shukaku and Chomei.
